SPOILER ALERT: who read the book?1 hour ago
The stories are similar in the two cases, and male roles loss of his beloved counterpart and wants to take revenge on the man who caused the accident. A second similarity is that the main male person falls in love with the female lead (person who caused the death of the family of a male figure)
Both about low level thugs finding love. When A Man Loves is sadder, whereas Gangster Lover is a purely a romcom.
Pinocchio was actually the opposite of this series, but both were talking about media.
-So I think if you're seeking a more serious drama that tackles about media industry, I strongly suggest you watch this after. :)

Both dramas are absolutely amazing! They have amazing cases and good acting!
Both are about a death game in which people are forced to participate, though in a different ways.
They both have incredible psychopath killers, and the past and present stories were also linked to each other, that hunts the main characters.
-But though they have that kind of similarities, I think Gap Dong was darker than, 'I Remember You.'

its just fantastic !!!! just watch it ! you wont be disappointed
Both dramas have both the main male leads as brothers but both characters don't know that they are brothers. Both the father and mentor of the main character for both dramas was played by the same actors. Finally, both dramas are about avenging the death of a father, but also becoming the true king that the people of Joseon deserve.
Scholar Who Walks the Night is one of my favorite dramas. It has many supernatural twists. Mirror of the Witch is about witchcraft and SWWTN is about vampires. Both ways, both are Sageuks in the "dark". If you love this drama, give Scholar Who Walks the Night a try!
both involve a main female lead who sets out for revenge against the people who have wronged her. Both have intelligent and awesome main female leads who know exactly how to step on the throats of the ones who wronged them. They also both involve a rich family that have something to do with the main female lead and is about how the main girl fights back to reclaim what is rightfully hers.
Both involve a character that travels through time and becomes involved in the royal family
Both are about correcting mistakes of the past, they show how life choices can change your life but it's not too late for a second chance.
both female lead help an investigator to solve a crime that involves supernatural abilities.
Both of them are really exciting, every episode is different, but there is main plot somewhere hidden. And even main characters have quite good stories to share :D
Both connects with a Student-Teacher relationship. These movies made me speechless to the point I dont know where am I anymore. It also have similar events that was so dark yet emotional at the same time and it was just executed brilliantly.
