the story of the main couple give a similar vibe where the wife is very stubborn and fierce and the husband very protective of the wife...both show the sweet bickering of the couples

the period setting is quite similar and the bickering of husband and wife in both drama give the same vibe... both show how the couple support each other in fighting villain

I know these are totally different genre drama and storyline, but:

+ ML are oddly cute with his antics and sarcatic words, while the FL is kind and brave. they are kinda similiar in a different way tho!
+ The relationship between lead is strangely comedic yet romantic.
+ PETS, drama that has pets in the storyline always convice me.
+ Warm friendship. I love the girls friendship in both dramas.

Anyway, those two are my faves ^^

Both portray a mix of character stories (the writers really gave these characters depth) with very similar comedic timing. They deal with some serious themes but also have a bit of the quirky/awkward moments and making them gold. These are the kinds of shows where I'd like to say "Don't judge a book by its cover".

Common ground: Strong female lead, Smart female lead, Revenge, Royalty, Court, Politics, Dark, Historically accurate costumes, Excellent production quality and acting, Deep & multi-layered actors, romance is not the central focus of the drama, huge re-watch value

These two dramas are both masterpieces in their own right. They're one of those works that you must watch before you died. If you liked The Rise of Phoenixes, you will definitely like The story of YanXi Palace.

Both take place in a comic book universe, and both are supporting character or extra's for the story, that want to change their ending for the better

Post war Hiroshima: It's been four years since the last time she visited her hometown. Takako faces the after effects of the A-bomb when she travels around the city to call on old friends.

For the trauma after war.

After surviving Japanese colonization, Korea became the first war zone of the Cold War. The legacy of war remains today in this divided country. Three forlorn teenagers, Chank-guk, Jihum and Eunok are figures in the landscape of this story, which highlights the global implications of a very Korean reality. None of them is able to escape the withering pull of tragedy.

They both feature idol trainees on their mission to debut! Each show goes through different episodes full of performances that consist of dancing, singing, rap and also songwriting!

They are similar in the aspect of how at least one of the main characters I actually from a comic book, and they both have some of the sweetest romances. The only major difference (well there are many) I can think of is that in Extra-Ordinary You for most of the show the characters not go to different universes instead they are known to the fact they are in a comic book, while in W they can like move from both worlds to get to the other.

It's similar in the aspect of like story, but when you watch Playful you will automatically think of the lead from Goong because they are quite similar a well as the fact they are written by the same screenwriter so if you enjoyed Goong you most likely will enjoy Playful Kiss, you will also have the teddy bears at the end of each episode.

Baek Jong Won runs both these shows and there are crossovers that are starting to happen as of June 2020 where Mr Baek sends them out to help some of the Alley restaurants.

If you are a kamishirashi mone fans you might like Love Last Forever. Difference between this is movie and tv shows drama.Both of this telling that kamishirashi mone is well in house matter and getting a hot boyfriend.
