Both movies are intense character studies and morality tales of criminals and the victims of their crimes. The criminals are very different in these stories, but the message from both movies is powerful. Korean film has presented 2 films in such a beautiful and watchable way that you think they are just entertainment but, in reality, force you to face your innermost thoughts on what it is you believe and to question those beliefs.
Both are short web dramas with an arrogant male lead who falls for a good girl.
Both movies are about unconventional teachers who think outside the box, who have a dream and create private academies to be able to turn that dream into reality. Both teachers believe that all children deserve a place where they can study and feel understood, accepted and respected.
It's the first one among the reply series and if you found the romance a bit lacking in reply 1988, then reply 1994 will definitely satisfy you.The main female lead is hilarious in both of the series. If you have watched any one of these dramas then watching the other one is mandatory.enjoy!
It's also about friendship and the bromance is also strong plus the characters are also cool although in School 2013 their is no romance it only focuses in friendship and school, still it's amazing because of the friendship

They both have a similar comedic feel while the main basis of the plot being on the romance itself. Similarly, you can find both have an interesting love triangle relationships.
Both movies have a lgbt theme. No Regrets with gay prostitution, while Night Flight deals with bullying. They're both beautiful movies.
Both have a thief and a police falling in love, otherwise they are different. In my opinion, Catch Me is better than CofF2.
It also has the girl lead Yang Mi in which she is a orphan and a child of a rich family. Both has love but in different ways.
All of the Reply series and You Are the Apple of My Eye have that certain nostalgic factor; they're all beautiful, hilarious, clever, coming-of-age stories. You can't help but grow attached to the cast as you experience several moments with them--from their school years, to their first heart breaks, all the way up until they're finally adults and working their butts off. These stories both have a slight melancholic feel, precisely because of how eerily relatable and realistic the challenges they face seem to be.
I think if you enjoyed watching Reply 1988, you'll especially love You Are the Apple of My Eye and the similar message that it tries to convey. I think You Are the Apply of My Eye is just slightly more light-hearted and has a more crude humor
