This drama is a version of the film Please Enlighten Me, but the two are very different. This drama is completely the latest and revised version of the novel and the film. Highly recommend. You will see a very natural acting from the two main characters! This drama is like a very sweet documentary drama. If this wasn't a drama, I might have thought these two main characters weren't acting but were reality.

Both FL are hard working, smart and deep down very nice, but they come accross as ambitious and disingenuous. They're willing to be the bad guy if it can help their ex move on. In both drama, they are in a love triangle between a hardworking guy and his younger "brother" who is a heir, which makes the guy's relationship harder. In both shows the FL is humble and determined, willing to take crap from her superiors, but she also knows when to stand up for herself.

Both are slow burn with strong and emotional stories about the characters, with a good atmosphere that catch your eyes and attention.

The plots aren't all that similar tbh. They are both korean bls that have a university setting. They are both really well written and the characters have actual 'character' compared to other bls.
They both set a high standard and should both be appreciated.
