Short episodes with a great focus on comedy. Hilarious but sweet. Amusing misunderstandings in both. but there's more of a focus on that type of humor in The Boy Next Door. Great relationships in both.

Both shows have ghosts/supernatural beings that deal with their pasts. Both are also two of the best dramas of the past couple of years.

If you liked the mistery/otherworldly/law part in this drama, signal is a very good option for a new drama to watch! It has a very complex a nd deep story that starts with 3 police officers (2 from the present and 1 from the past) that try to solve cold murder cases. It has just a little bit of romance and comedy but it is a very thrilling to watch how different actions change the future ^^

For those that can not get enough Contract Romance.
In both dramas the couples end up living together due to circumstances. In both dramas, the couples sign a contract and enter into a fake relationship. Both dramas are done well and are in my top 20 all time favorites.
The personalities of the characters is different
Because this is my first life is a little more slow paced and thoughtful. Full House has more comedy.

This is also a drama where a girl is chasing a boy - an intelligent class topper like Baek Seung Jo. But, they are different in character. The lead pair here is cute and they have good chemistry. This is a cute romance and I have actually fallen in love with their cuteness. It is cuteness overload ????

Both couples in these dramas have a one-night stand in the beginning of their relationship and later their feelings are developing. Rich man, poor/ordinary woman. Romance and comedy, some drama. "You're my destiny" is more serious, "My secret romance" more cheesy.

both are set in a mental institute with a normal person being wrongly placed in there by a loved one, although 'insane' is a mystery thriller and a bit more intense and has stronger themes of mental and physical abuse

The plot and the main characters are quite similar. However, not completely the same. Also about a prince marrying a wife but in this story, the female protagonist is already the princess but with Naughty Princess they have to overcome some obstacles. Also about the female protagonist time travelling from the modern world to the past. This story also talks about 3 princes with the eldest and the second eldest fighting against each other for the throne with the 3rd prince being on the same boat as the second prince.

Same Rom-Com aspect to both of them. The plot is somewhat similar in both of them. They both fake a marriage so the male lead can protect his house which he values a lot. The female leads are loosely similar in the way that they think of marriage the opposite way that the male leads do.

There's a love triangle between the female and male lead and one of the 2nd male leads
4 male leads who are popular in the school/university
The male lead hates the female lead and there is some bullying and then they fall in love

More business/company feud in Hi Flower

Both protagonists are strong and skilled doctors who go against the rules of the hospital to save patients. There are a lot of people against them.

has the character "Jeremy/Lee Hong Gi" in the lead, both have the same vibe like the old kdramas or shoujo mangas, both are innocent love story between innocent characters, also has idols

both have dark themes, both of them have twisted characters and also theme of physical abuse and hint of sexual abuse to young children
