I haven't laughed this much for a series recently. It's not about comedy scenes but they delivered it brilliantly.we can see the helplessness of the main lead (akafuji) to stay calm from his crush.. not just a crush, aoyagi is his everything. They are the perfect one's for this role. Because, not everyone can do the secret romance, tension, jealousy with humour in it, but they done it beautifully. I really loved the hidden aoyagi printed t shirt, the hand kiss, and his faint. omg I was laughing out loud and my parents came to me by asking whether you need to see a therapist or not....
I loved the whole cast. Mainly the dialogues of akafuji, 'today our eyes met for 2.7 seconds, I'm certain.. at that time my heart stopped beating'. Seriously who will count those seconds, he's head over heels for aoyagi.
it's a must watch guys.. but it only has 3 episodes... and that's the only negative here.

Ready-made. Still worth seeing. Social satire about status & by all means climbing up social ranking
"Remarriage and Desires" tackles a central theme of South Korean social life: who should I, can I, must I or do I want to marry? Marriage, family and status throughout the centuries have been forming a magical triad in this Confucian shaped country - a triad which can decide how happy or unhappy life will become... Yet, these days within the framework of the short-timed everyday life and performance-oriented professional life in modern South Korea there is simply no time for naturally meeting someone and dating. However, the right choice is crucial. So instead of spending time, you spend money and thus can be matched up professionally. This actually has a good tradition in elite circles, where matchmakers were already in high demand during past Joseon days. Arranged marriages - whether devised by shamans, personal matchmakers, professional matchmaking agencies or parents - are widespread today and have recently become trendy even among the less elite classes of society. ... As a good choice can decide everything..."Remarriage and Desires" takes this subject into the grotesque - in a satirical guise with a proper breeze of Makjang. A stately squad of spiteful, greedy contemporaries at the highest ranks are brought together to tell a bitter tale of revenge on revenge on revenge. The bad news first: the Netflix production unfortunately does not get beyond a script that has been polished for the international streaming audience and that also seems to be off the shelf. The good news: KDrama is even good at telling such ready-made stories, too. By the way, it's the intensity of the female leads who are allowed to rock the makjang-show: Bad, worse, the worst... and there still is worse (The men rather become victims and ornaments.)
My criticism: Scheme-F. Ready-made.
The heartbeat get´s lost. The depth is missing. It's not really possible to develop an emotional closeness to the protagonists. Overall, "Remarriage and Desires" thus comes across as somewhat distant and stiff in comparison. As a spectator you will feel less sympathy (from the inside) and instead watch more (from the outside).
You might binge through the (only) 8 episodes pretty quickly. But without the nuances, something is missing. For me at least. I didn´t feel an emotional bonding growing of any sort. Too bad.
However! the KDrama is still worth seeing as a satirical social study about the South Korean middle and upper class (or a general would-like-to-marry-into-the-still-higher-class class).

Before you start the review, it's going to be a long as review because I just like to spoil everything for everyone. lmao, jks. pls read on :) Story:
The synopsis isn't even right. I swear that is google translated or like when it's like do you want to translate from thai to english lmao. Anyway, I'm going to write two synopsis; one, where it's short and maybe won't make sense, lmao & the second one, obviously the whole story plot for those who enjoys major major massive spoilers.:) So pls choose...
1. Kiew's mother has cancer and under some circumstances they both end up living in Peat's house. Peat, not understanding and doesn't even want to hear an explanation from his father assumes she is the new mistress, (due to the fact that his late mother had just passed away not too long ago) & that Kiew is the love child who had come to take away his fortunes. He decides to make their life a living hell so that they would leave, but no matter what he does, they didn't leave. After some problems, Peat leaves Thailand to Korea to study & at this point no one knew where he had gone. Four years later, he returns to Thailand and starts working at his father's company competing against Kiew, as his revenge scheme.

The story is about Peat & Kiew (obviously), they first meet each other in college and I guess you could say love at first sight. Kiew's mother has cancer and under some circumstances they both end up living in Peat's house. Peat, not understanding and doesn't even want to hear an explanation from his father assumes she is the new mistress, (due to the fact that his late mother had just passed away not too long ago) & that Kiew is the love child who had come to take away his fortunes. After some more problems, Kiew's mum ends up at the hospital and ends up having an agreement with Peat's dad to let him adopt her. She becomes the adoptive daughter and more shit happens and Peat finally leaves Thailand to Korea & no one could find him until Kiew ends up in Korea for a university trip. There, they patch up and starts to understand each other until news broke out that Peat's dad adopted Kiew as his daughter and the heiress to the company. & so again, he lost the trust that they had just been bonding over. Four years later, he graduates and returns to Thailand on the same day that Kiew was introduced into the company. His dad not knowing he had came back was shock to see his son at the introductory but was glad and happy that he has returned. Peat openly announces that he has come back to take back what belongs to him & so the beginning of revenge begins. More problems happens and then he ends up in the hospital due to a motorbike incident where he finds out he is actually not the son of his dad. Feeling remorse for all the bad things he had done and said to his father and Kiew, he leaves the hospital and a search party ensues; Kiew finds him and they fight and ..... the moment of truth where he confess and tells her everything, the reasons why he started his revenge and basically everything. He takes her to his late mother's house where their love blossom into something more, but little did she knows and including everyone, was that he has started his revenge again (spoiler: because he read something from his mother's diary). They get caught in BED, yes BED, together and so Peat decides to marry Kiew to resolve it. //
Okay, stopping here because this is basically the entire drama, just that I haven't explain what happens after their marriage, but you can already guess it and I did write it, saying he takes revenge again, but this is another different revenge scheme as he gets marries to her. When I watched this live on the website, it was a real cliffhanger to me because obviously I couldn't understand Thai fully but maybe to some of you guys it might seems repetitive which I'd say it is because this drama is a revenge drama and so obviously it'll just be revenge right? But I actually really enjoyed this drama, even though it is really tiring to watch at some point but like it's not that bad and it has the highest ratings for it's time slot compares to others. There are some episodes where it takes soooooo long to just get to the point, and I felt that was really unnecessary, the first couple of episodes flew by really quick which made me draw into each individual characters and made me want to stay and see what's going to happen in the next episodes. & guys, pls let me know, was I the only who could not watch ep 23, like I just laughed throughout the whole episodes? Like there was something about it that was really off. but ep 24 did justice for me so oh well, haha, even though I did felt like it was a bit rushed especially from 23 transitioning to ep 24 it was like bam bam bam, like there wasn't that feeling of feeling bad for Peat but oh well. & oh, I lived for Khata's and Pa's scenes like, it just made me happy seeing them have banters at each other.
Cast/Acting:
Kiew: She is your typical nice, caring woman, knows right from wrong and doesn't give headaches to the parents. I really enjoyed seeing Bua play this type of character and so different from her character that she played earlier this year. There isn't really anything for me to critique because she is good at her role like I don't think I wasn't unhappy with anything she did in the drama.
Peat: omg, where should I start, lmao. yes he has the look and yeah that's preetty much it. lmao. jokes aside but I never really read the comment, I only do so to see if a drama is worth watching but there was so many saying that he only has the look and they couldn't really get through the drama. Honestly, it wasn't that bad like his acting, at first was kind of off and plus in episode 23 because I just couldn't take it seriously but other than that it was pretty good. Like his character is supposed to be an arrogant, jerk, self centered, only love myself kind of dude because of the lack of love he got from his dad and plus his mother bought him up like that, and feeding him with lies about his dad, I mean half of them was true and half of them was not. Some even said he was misogynist but I don't think his character is supposed to be portrayed like that. Like you can clearly see that he has Chaya as his girl friend and plus he loves Kiew so I don't know what definition yalls be using for misogynist, lol. His character was pretty tiring to see at times but trust me yalls, it actually is pretty good. The fact that he was just so driven with anger, and revenge just made him forgot who he really is, to his friend, he is a really warm-hearted young man, who speaks his mind and straight forward when he doesn't like something.
Kriss: I would say Kriss is the mysterious person in a group of friends. haha. He is someone that you wouldn't be able to tell if he is sincerely happy or being annoyed. Kriss' character is someone that would do anything for the person he loves aka Chaya, he does everything to make Chaya happy. I would say that Kriss has so much anger building inside from all the things that Peat does to Chaya that he starts to revenge Peat as well. But the truth is, I guess he just wanted to be notice by Chaya and to make her realise that Peat isn't the one for her. He actually is a really kind person, who helped Kiew in a lot of hardships & in the first half of the drama, he wasn't taking sides, he knew when to side with his friends or when not too. Especially when Chaya becomes Peat's supposedly "mistress".
Chaya: This girl was a really sad character. She just wanted to be noticed by Peat and she stood by him through thick and thin. I would totally blame it on Peat, he knew that Chaya loved him for so many years but he never once told her that he doesn't like her in that way. When she shows him affections he just brush it off sometimes and doesn't really say anything. At some point I was really annoyed with her character, like it was that good that I got so annoyed and just couldn't really comprehend with it. Basically as a nang rai, you guys would understand what her role is, but like I didn't even blame it on her because she was just a girl, in love and just wanted Peat to her self. Oh, spoiler, she get's leukemia and I thought she was going to stop her craze love for Peat but no, she sides with Kriss to take revenge. That's what got me real fucked at this point.
Khata & Pa: You don't really get to see these two character a lot cause they were the support character but I lived for their scene. Khata is that friend that is always stuck in the middle and doesn't choose sides. He lectures his friends to make them realise that they are doing wrong shits. but nobody gives a damn. haha. Pa is that best friend any one could ever ask for. She chooses her friend in a blink of an eye and is ready to fight. I can't say a lot because not a lot of scenes revolves around them but like most of the scenes you see is they being together and always having banter which was the best. haha.
Music:
I really enjoyed the music. Especially the opening and ending song, after I went to read the lyrics it made more sense.
Overall:
If you think this is some sort of infidelity or incest drama, you are WRONG gurl. go watch it. :)

At first I was not expecting to enjoy this from the couples perspective, but more from the university/ hazing angle. I mean another BL (when I did realise it was BL). Nothing wrong with a good BL story, but it's getting kinda long in the tooth.That being said, I did not read any spoilers before (hence not knowing it was BL). The upbeat music score (Soh Sut Soh Say performed by Keng Thachaya) was just so powerful it had to be attached to something, at lease, exciting. Boy was I in for a surprise!
The actual hazing was a bit far fetched for reality, but added to the premise and story quite well. The SOTUS acronym was really fully thought out. (Could someone Thai say if it is real?) Not starting as the typical love story was, again, another plus. Trying to cipher out where it was going was like being a detective. Would it be more about the hazing and the relationships formed because of a fear of the seniors? Would it force the juniors into relationships? The development of the characters was not predictable at all.
The magnificent performance of N' Krist (Sangpotirat Perawat) and the facial expressions of N' Sinto (Ruangroj Prachaya) really added to tension and emotion. Not in any way putting down the pool of amazing Thai actors, and having watched quite a few Thai Dramas, I don't think anyone else was more worthy to play those parts. These two played well of each other and even the rest of the cast, bringing a feeling of realness to the episodes.
The ending. Wow. It is just the perfect circles of circles. Karma, faith and such. Everything just falling together for a reason!
The only one critique I could find was the secondary characters could get a little more development. They do take a backseat to the main. By backseat I mean all the way in the back of an articulated bus! A little more time about them would have been just perfect! This, in no way, takes away from the realness or storytelling. It's just a very, very tiny gripe.
All in all a worthy story, impeccable acting and amazing music score. Well worth the watch! Has to be the best for it's year and possibly one of the best Thai Dramas of all times! Hormones set a bar, but SOTUS has raised it!

Great Plot, Great Acting, Great Ending
Yes, I'm hooked to this drama which was almost dropped initially because I was too impatient. The opening of the drama put me off, but then 2 episodes in, I was hooked.I love the seriousness of this drama. There are no annoying, stupid nor silly characters. No stupid exchanges. No unnecessary misunderstandings except those that due to the flaws of the characters themselves. There is good character development.
The sword fight choreography is simply beautiful, so authentic and gracious. The wushu scenes are executed almost flawlessly with beautiful and elegant sequences and postures by the main leads. There are no stupid colorful fireworks (literally) when people fight, just real authentic sounds and movements.
The lead actors are new to me. Having said that, they appear to be wonderful actors and they each plays their roles convincingly. I grow to love them and empathize with them, even with the antagonist.
The romance is intense and sensual, and the hatred is convincing. The second male lead plays a controversial character which adds colors to the story; most viewers hate and love him. I love the story with strong male leads and strong female lead. It is so satisfying to see a strong female lead who is smart and kind, and at the same time, has the ability to protect herself and others because she can really fight (tired of those girls who try to be heroines but put others into danger when they try to protect the heroines - not in this case).
One can tell the production team has put in a lot of efforts in taking care of the details. There are no obvious holes and mismatched timelines. The music, cinematography, plots, acting, and editing are simply wonderful.
This is a drama well done!

An Under Appreciated Drama with Good Ending
When I watched the trailer for this drama, it looked very good. I was disappointed when I started watching. As it was tagged "tragedy", I was expecting serious and somber performance. The "tragedy" tag was later removed.The beginning of the story is comedic. Everything is silly, stupid and crazy, including the villains. The male lead looks villainous; the female lead cute with large watery eyes which tear up easily; the supposedly villain silly and funny. I was confused - is this supposed to be a comedy? I couldn't decide to continue or drop.
Ten episodes in, the mood changes. It becomes serious and intense. No more silly characters. Every character becomes mature and somber. Though there are still holes here and there, the plot thickens. I begin to empathize with the male and female leads. I even begin to love the supposedly villain who turns out to be an undercover. My heart begins to break with the pain General Wei Kuang is going through - his lost love, his love for the country and his predicament.
The building up of the story is important. Skipping episodes may make you confuse with why the characters make the choices as they do. Therefore, one may need to have more patience with the earlier episodes so that you can enjoy the later episodes better.
The final episodes are good compared to many other dramas. There are no unnecessary deaths. The evil doers end with what they deserve. The good people are rewarded with the fruits they sow. There are many lessons learned. There are also heart-wrenching moments, especially with the main characters, and one can feel the pain and sacrifices they make for the good of all.
This is a pretty good story. The main couple have been true to each other from the beginning till the end. Their love for each other never wanes, only stronger. They sacrifice for their country and for each other. They fight all the scheming and darkness hand-in-hand. They are open with each other, never holding anything back. There's never been any annoying misunderstanding between the two (many Chinese dramas love misunderstandings which I hate).
I love this story and the acting. My heart feels for General Wei, his pain when he returns from war and finds his love gone. But he never stops loving her, neither she loving him. It's a very touching story which you may enjoy.
I have truly enjoyed this drama. It may not be the drama of the year, but I feel it deserves our attention, and for us to give credit to the actors who have done a pretty good job.
Yes, this is one of those rare historical dramas that deserves to be watched and enjoyed.

Story: So if you've read the manga, watched the anime, or have seen either the Korean/ Japanese version you already know the story. For others the story may seem a bit weird but it has a lot of heart and it totally grabs your attention. Its a romantic comedy so its a story based around love.
Acting: Ahh soo much better than the Korean version, much much much better. Though the cast wasn't as pretty as the Korean version they were excellent actors. I already liked Matsumoto Jun from Kimi Wa Petto but this story made me fall in love with him. The main female Inou Mao is SOOO SOOO SOO much better than Goo Hye Sun and her horrible acting. I love the cast, and I thought the girl who played Shisuka was GORGEOUS! She was so pretty.
Music: I really liked the music it was cute and catchy. But I got annoyed after they played it over and over again.
Rewatch: Definitely will watch again when I'm in the mood for a good romance drama.
Forget the Korean version of the drama, why wasn't this my drama. Why did the Korean version have to be my first drama and ruin Kdramas for me for a while. If you want pretty sets and pretty actors go to the Korean version, but if you want awesome acting and true feelings this version is THE BEST!! LOVE LOVE LOVEEEEEE

Possibly the worst... anything that I've seen.
You know how when you pass a huge accident on the road you can't help but look? Well, at least in that case something interesting has happened. This more like passing a cactus and staring at it until it does something.I gave it a '1' for story, because there's no "0". That sounds harsh, but there's actually no plot. There are times you may think there's one, but it's a trick. This series is so random that I almost always had to go back and check that I didn't skip an episode because the current one never really had a connection to any of the past episodes. There are so many random things thrown into this that it's bewildering. There's even an entire new character with apparently nefarious intent (judging by the ominous music cues whenever he appears) thrown into the very last episode that is totally unconnected with anything else and you have no idea (and never find out) what he wants or intends. That happens a lot. This really feels like there was a pile of 30 BL scripts on a desk and someone accidentally knocked them into a shredder and this is what they came up with by randomly taping scraps together. That sounds exaggerated, but it's not.
Let me give you an example: It's hinted that one of the characters has done something wrong. Barely hinted. Then at the end of an episode, everyone's phones start dinging - they all glance at their phones, then turn to stare at the character. And that's it. We never find out what the text said, or what the character in question did, nor does this have any meaningful effect on the story.
Another example: Milk and Pun suddenly have a kid. He's 5 years old as there has been a time jump. There are scenes of Pun being a cute dad. Then the mother shows up and says - "Thanks guys, I'm talking him back." I guess she realized he's old enough to vacuum her house now or something. To be fair, Pun is depressed, but as is standard for a BL, a damp towel wipedown cures him of that.
I slogged through this because the main character, Milk, is so cute that puppies are goblin sharks in comparison (don't google that before bedtime). And Dr. Pun looks extremely good when he steps out of the shower. And I hoped they would get together in some beautiful and romantic way. In the end it seemed like neither of them had anything better to do.
This series is so dreary that when their relationship is formalized everyone is sitting on one side of a table in what I would have thought was a conscious imitation of The Last Supper, but it can't be because there's a story behind the Last Supper and that would mean that whoever wrote this is aware of the idea of a story.
There are BLs where there is no kissing. That's OK in many cases, because they're set in high school and the characters have never dated or kissed anyone before. This series ends with the characters in their 30s, and Milk still acts like the creature from Alien is unhinging its jaw next to him whenever he's in danger of being kissed by Pun. There is a 5-year time jump, during which time they've been togther - and living together, sleeping in the same bed, and they still have never kissed, let alone had sex. Even when Pun proposes marriage, all he gets is a grunt and a peck on the cheek. The lack of intimacy in this is so severe that I don't know what else to call it but homophobia. They don't even directly refer to relationships - it's easy to miss because everyone speaks of them in oblique terms. They could be talking about working together, accidentally bumping into each other in an elevator, running over someone with their car, or being in an LTR - it's hard to tell.
This is full of people pontificating about life and happiness with the profundity of a greeting card you pick up at the supermarket because you forgot your nephew's birthday. There are very, very long monologues about this at random times when it has no relevance to anything else that's going on.
This diretor/screenwriter also did Love Sick 2 and Friend Forever, and after those two valiant attempts has finally succeeded in making the most boring and miserable series possible.
The technical qualities of this are OK, but not ever exceptional. There are a few funny mistakes, like a big red 'X' taped to a bench to indicate where an actor should sit. (To be fair, he sat on it, so it worked.)
Acting: 5. I don't think anyone's actually acting, so it's not any more terrible than people standing around talking, but nobody every really does anything involving more skill than people standing around talking. Son Ravisut makes an impression as Milk, and Petch Jakkaphet makes an impression with his exposed glistening torso, but both of those are shallow qualities. There are occassional glimpses of ability in Son, but I can't be sure given the material. And other than cuteness, there's not really much to recommend him. If you refuse to engage in m/m intimacy, then don't accept a role in a BL.
Music: 1. There are three snippets of stock music the editor downloaded. One is that standard bassoon melody for light moments, then there is something bland for normal stuff, and an ominous track for when something dark is happening. Dark is too strong - more like a tiny diminution of light like when a moth is flying a meter or so from a lamp. That's about as much as the tone of the series ever changes.
Rewatch value: 2 - there is one scene I've rewatched. Dr. Pun takes a shower and stands around for a minute or so glistening and wearing only a towel around his waist.
Overall: 2.5 - This is truly terrible and a complete waste of time. It's absolutely incomprehensible that this could ever have been made.

Story: [9.5/10] One thing that this drama does well is it takes very common story elements and turn it into something special. Have you ever seen a crime-solving drama? I have seen many myself. None has impressed me as much as this one. This show stands out from other crime-solving shows because it involves two people from different times attempting to work together to solve the same crime. There where a lot of flashbacks and events from the past that were used to help the characters in the present solve the different crimes. I must admit that initially I thought that this was not something that would have worked well with this type of show. However, in the end, the director and writers manage to mesh all of these elements together to create a great show such as Signal.
Although there were several things that kept me from giving the show a 10. One of the reasons that I didn't give the show a 10 has to do with the walkie-talkie. I wanted to know more about the walkie-talkie. I was a little disappointed by the end because I had some questions about the walkie-talkie that were never answered. I don't want to bring up the actual question because it may spoil a little of the show for you if you haven't already seen it. Just know that the walkie-talkie plays a very big part in the show and that I'm annoyed because they didn't answer my question haha.
Perhaps another weakness of the show is that it can be confusing at times. As I mentioned, there are a lot of flashbacks, and moments where we see events from the past. It often got confusing because the show would sometimes jump back and forth between past and present. On the flip side of all this, the show also had its' own strengths when jumping back and forth between the past and present. The writers of Signal did a very good job in setting up the different time jumps. As I would often find myself only confused for about 5-10 seconds before saying oh this is what is going on and I see why there was this flashback/time jump etc. In a way, I was never really confused at all because my confusion went away since the show itself answered most if not all of the questions I may have had about what was going on. This is a good thing because most shows don't do this. Other shows will often just leave you to wonder what the heck is going on the whole time.
Overall this show also kept a very good pace. It never felt like it went to fast or that it was dragging on.for too long. I applaud the director and writers for coming up with such a great story. They did a very great job in turning simple plot elements into a very sophisticated story. They didn't exactly invent a new genre or anything (or did they?). One thing is for sure though. They sure know how to tell a darn good story!
Acting: [10/10] All of the actors and actresses did a very commendable job during this whole drama. There were times where I was completely drawn in by the acting. In fact I cried at least two times during this whole drama. Let me just tell you now. I don't cry very often when watching shows. I rarely ever cry while watching sad dramas, let alone a crime thriller! This can mean one of several things. The first possible meaning is that the actors did a very good job acting. The second is that the story was very well told and that we were meant to cry at that part. I'm inclined to believe that it was a mixture of both. There where also several child actors and actresses in this show as well. Although they were all mostly pretty young, their acting only helped to improve this drama.
Music: [9/10] The music was very well made. If there was a suspenseful moment, suspenseful music that fit the scene came with at the right moment. All in all, the music helped enhance certain moments of the show depending on where it was needed. The OST to this show was nothing to scoff at either. Was it a ground-breaking OST that I will listen to for years to come? No, not really. However, it's definitely something that I will put into my playlist in the future.
Overall I definitely suggest you watch the show if you already haven't. You won't regret it! Objectively I can't give this show all 10s because it definitely wasn't completely perfect. However, subjectively it was one of the most well written Korean drama that I've ever seen.

The drama also follows the stories of the other occupants of dorm 232 Song Qi Qi, Bai Lin and Xiao Tang as well. Each face some sort of crisis at one point in their life but the thing that makes it so great is that all the issues the girls faced were all problems that everyday college students might face. They always had each other backs. I highly recommend this drama it's a really nice discovering yourself light and warm coming of age drama but it also has some tough moments, Enjoy!

Looking at the ratings made me feel like this drama is seriously underrated. Currently at episode 10, and I'm loving it to bits! Episode 1 started a bit slow, but it was crucial to understand the different personalities of the tourists. By the way, I loved the ahjummas! Wish they were part of the tourists also, which would have made it more interesting and funny to watch.
The supporting characters' relationships seemed cliche at first glance, but as they delve deeper into their background stories, it made me realise that this drama is all about "Don't judge a book by its cover" and the different kind of relationships between the tourists.
I found the pace to be good. I loved how they focused on each pair for each episode. I loved the back stories and the progress of relationships so much! I loved the male lead's character here. It was so unique. I'm glad he wasn't a typical CEO or this good looking handsome guy with a narcissistic personality. His character was hilarious and so were his interactions with people in France. There were so many misunderstandings about him from the very start which I found to be funny. I loved his character so much!
And for the elderly couple, at first I really despised the ahjussi. He kept yelling at everyone and complaining about everything. I felt really sad for his wife. But once I saw the backstory, I kind of understood why he behaved in that manner. I could also tell that he changed slowly throughout the course of this drama, though not to a drastic extent, which seemed realistic enough for me.
For the young couple, I thought they would have a happy "honeymoon" dating period in France. But man was I not expecting a deep relationship with misunderstandings and communication problems. Their relationship changed a lot throughout this drama as well.
And for the main couple... I loved the progress of their relationship. The misunderstandings between the two of them were hilarious. And man, Jung Yong Hwa's kisses have gotten A LOT BETTER. I hated the fish kisses in "The heartstrings".
There were so many unexpected twists which I really loved. Overall, it was an awesome drama to watch!
For those ONLY looking for romance, don't start this drama because the main focus is not the romance but the growth of the characters and their relationships. It was a really good refreshing drama for me.

Although the drama ended on sad/open note, many fans felt that they needed more of a conclusion!So, in this episode, they showed us

All in all I'm very grateful for this extra episode!!💕💖 it mended my heart by giving us bittersweet conclusion. FOF characters are so well played that fans start to love them dearly and get attached to their life and fate. So it was very important to give us (for those who needed it) more thorough ending!

A solid 9! It's been so long since I've actually watched a Japanese drama that managed to deliver on multiple fronts. Netflix's last originals in this genre left much to be desired but I saw this one randomly appear a couple nights ago. 12 Episodes, 24 minutes a piece - I figured I could get through a few to start it off and see if it'll be watchable... Then holy crap, I become enthralled with it. I haven't binged through an entire drama with that much ferocity in quite some time!Each episode unravels more of the mystery that is Hyakumanen no Onnatachi. I found myself thoroughly immersed in the narrative dialogue that Noda's character goes into regularly throughout the show. It was SO EASY to get lost in his performance. There were a few scenes I was bawling my eyes out and I wasn't exactly sure why. The cast around him is solid and each of the characters has a well fit piece in the story. Noda's character is complex and easily lovable, but it takes a while to get used to his melancholy down tempo demeanor. I'd love to break it down more, but no spoilers! It's best to unwrap this gem for yourself.
I was a bit worried that a 12 episode, 24 minute format was going to be too short for the story. Kdrama is usually 55 minute episodes~, jdrama usually 45-ish. Mostly 12,16-24 episodes a piece. But often times these formats require far too much filler and much of a drama's 'tempo' is lost, this drama sets a fairly good pace without really feeling rushed.
No doubt people will disagree with this review, it's got a very unique vibe to it that may not be universally appreciated. I'd say it's worth a shot, you'll know in the first few eps whether or not it'll click for you. :)

The acting was very good. I especially enjoyed the main couple's and Jiang Shan's (Shiqiao's mother) performance in the movie.
I love the soundtrack, most of the songs were created for this movie. I especially love the ending song, too bad I can't find it for download yet :(.
Overall, this was a very enjoyable movie. I`m glad I decided to watch it.
