Re watch for sure

wow in my oppinin i think this is the best korean bl drama i had ever seen the acting the story and the visuals are a chief kiss . yoo jun and hyun jun have a greet chemistry together they are handsome and a great actors , the story is very intersting and new not boring or cringe to watch like other bl dramas also the end is cute and happy i was afraid it would end with a bro romance end but it didn't i wish it would have a plot with Yoo han's family doing anything to them or what happened to Yeon woo's mother i felt like this drama is missing a lot of information because it's only 8 episodes with a 15 min for each one i wish it was longer they deserve to be treated like other korean dramas :(

simple and cute drama that will only give you 2nd lead syndrome except you're a fan of Cha Eun Woo

Story:
The story is very funny to watch except on the last 2 episode that gave me a heartache for the 2nd leading man. It is funny but also has a boring scene but I don't mind as long as I can see Hwang In Yeop in each episode. (I'm a fan of him)
What I dislike about the drama is they didn't focus on the essence of its title "True Beauty". It is more about the love triangle. I agree somehow to other viewers who said that they should change the title hehe.

But somehow it has a lesson for all viewers that the true beauty of a person is not on his/her outside appearance but on his/her inner person with the positive traits and qualities. The Bible proverb says: "Charm may be false, and beauty may be fleeting, But the woman who fears Jehovah (name of God) will be praised." (Proverbs:31:30 NWT) A pretty, charming young woman is a delightful companion. But what if there are hypocrisy and selfish vanity lurking behind the physical charm? (like Kang Soo Jin) Then the beauty is only skin deep, and it hides an inner ugliness. When the prettiness fades, what will be left? How much better if the good looks are matched by an unfading inner beauty. Value yourself and the standards you try to live by. If you are conscious of caring for both your outer beauty and your inner beauty, you will have great value and you will attract the type of person that will suit you best!

Acting/Casting:
I love the cast!
Moon Ga Yeong is so cute. For me it is a great role for her! She gave justice on her character as Im Ju Kyung. Indeed, Moon Ga Yeong is one of the good actress of Korea.
Cha Eun Woo - I like looking at his very handsome face hihi. But I hope he will improve more in his acting. But I think he is perfect for this role for showing that you shouldn't judge on outer appearance. There's no ugly and beauty faces all are beautiful.
Hwang In Yeop - He is such a good actor!!! I am glad that he is now a rising star!
About others everyone is so great especially Ju Kyung's family! For sure you will love them all!

Music:
I like the ost but not all of them is my type of music. If I will make suggestion, i will choose Fall In You by Ha Sung Woon and of course Starting Today by Hwang In Yeop.
I especially love all the songs sung by Hwang In Yeop in this drama especially his cover song of To You My Light.

Overall:
Well, this is drama is one of my top 20 of 2020 KDrama.

Not Good Enough

Korean Drama '' The Midnight Romance in Hagwon '' is a school romantic melodrama.

The drama is slow paced and feels relaxing and comforting. The cinematography is soothing and the camerawork makes the viewing experience feel like the audience is peeking into the characters' lives.

The start of the drama, moreover, was nice, with the story taking its time to settle in.

However, after a while, nothing really happened. The romance was enjoyable, yes, but wasn't enough to save things, and the school drama wasn't intense enough to peek things up.

On the other hand, the performances were enjoyable by every actor and actress of the cast.

So, overall, three out of ten.

Funny and thrilling at the same time

I just finished watching it and I must say it was a very interesting and funny at the same time. It is quite funny, that's the first thing I would say. It is also a thriller because there are lot of instances when you are wondering how the hero is going to end up. However, every time there is a situation for which you are biting your nail, it would have a fabulous comic end and that will have you laughing. That's the best part of this series.

The main lead is fabulous in his role. He is an absolutely delight to watch .. the expressions that changes from being a killer to a pitiable guy is hilarious .

Do watch if you haven't already.

this has got to be the fakest cutest story. its started out she is taking a pee test and finds out shes pregnant. juno is so cute how he takes responsibility and shows his love and commitment to jenny. i watched the american version juno so i was a lil biased because it had more to the show than the korean version. jenny and juno was all about cuteness and unrealness. there was no foundation to anything in the show except their love which i dint understand either. for six months, jenny still had the same flat stomach i mean seriously. the director really did a bad job in directing because he dint show any pregnancy traits except that she ate alot. there was some funny moments too with juno when he kept trying to stop his parents from having another kid. at the end, jennys parents had separated her from juno and when he found her after a ridiculous story line of taxi drivers becoming cops, her water broke and the ridiculous part again is the director dint do anything with jennys stomach it was still not big. i almost dint finish this movie. and another fake part is when the whole school decided to throw a wedding for the two, realllllllly not even one kid gossiped about the two becoming pregnant while young. everyone in school was happy go lucky. I usually do not like zombie movies but this one is totally different . Damn this movie exceeded my expectations . seriously what a brilliant and nicely done movie , from the beginning till the end kept my attention and there is no single scence that is boring , it's not only about Zombie but it's something very deeper , it's about helping others and being unselfish :) like how in this life there is some people that can help you with what ever they have and other kind of people who care only about themselves . this movie made feel a connection with every character , it's so damn amazing it's a masterpiece

I have to say the first half until almost the last parts, the story was tense and so enjoyable to watch. Usually, movies go big at the ending, but this movie is different. The acting was excellent, the story was great either, the only problem is there wasn’t much of an anticlimax in this movie. You only got to see the real problem happening in the last 20 minutes of the movie and it ruined all the fun in the previous scenes.

The story was one of a kind, but I have to say the ending was disappointing, we were hoping for some kind of justice for the rich family, and maybe a reunion between the “parasite” family, but the ending clearly doesn’t meet my expectations.

I don't understand the hype

I've heard so much hype about this Nirvana in Fire and the sequel Nirvana Fire 2. I watched both. Unimpressed. Overall this series dragged on way too long. I found myself skipping so many parts and sometimes entire episodes. I only sat thru the entire series just to find out what happens to see if the show redeems itself at the end. It did not.

Characters: While the acting wasn't bad, I was never truly invested in any of the characters, including the ML. The lead couple had zero chemistry. The only character I rooted for was Concubine Jing (wonderful actress, saw her in Rise of the Phoenixes).

Music: The OST wasn't bad but nothing memorable.

Good Acting but Lacking in Depth

This was well-acted but the story itself was only 6 episodes, and I feel like it lacked some depth and suffered some bc of that. It was not very scary or thrilling, but I was intrigued at where the story was going and it was enough to keep me entertained on a Sunday afternoon. Overall, it was alright but definitely not as good as his other media (Train to Busan, Hellbound, etc.). I just couldn't help but feel that the FL was rather selfish, and it made me hard to sympathize with her. Also, I wish that we had more time & follow up with the two detectives bc their story itself was interesting. Overall giving this an 8/10 bc the cast truly was very good. Would have been much better with more time spent on thrilling twists & character development.

People that have visions of the future through dreams and they try to stop them from coming true. This is just the surface synopsis there is so much more.
It takes me usually two - three episodes to determine rather I like a show. I was hooked by the first 20 minutes. Also first drama where I enjoyed all the plots and side charcters.

PROS:
?The acting range was just amazing especially in the second half! All of them from our leads to the flash back kid/teen actors. Just lovely to see such talent!

?The story is very orginal and new to me. I haven't seen a show or movie with this concept before. The twist, turns and layers were just wounderful.

?Cute, sweet and wholesome moments were just adorable! The selflessness of the characters towards eachother just beautiful! The friendship and love was so believable and I'm a sucker for friendship stories.

?The tough themes I think were done carefully and gracefully. This is something that is hard to do in stories, which I give a lot of credit to the writers and actors.

CONS:
?The bathroom/potty jokes!? They really took me out of the story and were just so immature. Mostly found in the first half (episodes 2-7). I have been told this is common in Kdrama. The 2nd half gets more serious and the stakes are high and jokes drop.

?Some editing choices the flashbacks and dreams were hard to till apart at first. Then they fix it and make it more noticeable.

Rewatch? Yes
