Pretty enjoyable
I didn't read the webtoon so I don't have anything to compare this to. Probably one of the reason why I enjoyed this as much as I did.Beyond all the cliches, I actually think the story is interesting. Someone who has inferiority complex tries to overcome her complex through make-up. While everyone was fighting over Suho or Seo Jun, I was really rooting for Ju Kyung's character development. If we compare the first episode to the last, it was Ju Kyung that has a lot of growth. I'm not too sold with the yet again another love triangle. I liked both the male leads' characters too. None of them is a jerk and are actually really good people. Whoever Ju Kyung ended up with would've been okay for me. I also think the slapstick comedy is fun and just the right amount.
Moon Ga Young has always been great with her roles. I can't imagine anyone playing Ju Kyung as well as her. I do think this is quite an easy role for her and didn't showcase so much of her acting capabilities. Cha Eun Woo's role as Suho is too much like his Gangnam Beauty role but I still appreciate that he showed more emotions here compared to his last two series I watched. Props to him for improving. The surprise for me here is Hwang In Yeop. He nailed his role perfectly. I haven't watched him in anything yet and I'm regretting that. I look forward to seeing him in more lead roles in the future.
Although not a masterpiece candidate but this is an easy and delightful watch.

Alchemy of Souls Season 2: Light and Shadow

you’ll keep rewatching it over and over again
Alchemy Of Souls is one of the few kdramas that mostly lead to perfection. The first season is just sensational, story and fantasy wise. It'll intrigue you, move you, make you laugh and cry. It'll tickle all your emotions. And the second season is quintessentially perfection and we absolutely needed it. The two main leads and their chemistry and emotions are the main focus of the story and you’ll fall in love with them over and over again. I cried so much but at the same time I had such a good time watching it.
It has become my fav kdrama of all time, taking the first spot from "Goblin" after 5 years.
I truly recommend it: you'll fall in love with every character and you'll embrace all their flaws and imperfections and shadows and lights.
Watch it!!

Jo Young and Jo Eun Sup saved the show
I only watched and finished the series because of Jo Young and Jo Eun Sup because I liked them and wanted to know, if things will end up well for them. The romance of the main couple came out of nowhere - no depth and no chemistry. He was the exaggerated filthy rich prince charming on a white horse and she a wanna be tough girl. Why did she point Jo Youngs gun against Lee Gon and asking over again if it is real? Girl! Why do you have to see the gun and then point it towards a human without being threatened? There is absolutely no reason for that. Besides you are working for the police! You should know better how to handle firearms! Absolutely nonsense and stupid! And this minister was such a status hunter. After all there were too many points that upset me. Without Jo Young and Jo Eun Sup I would have droped the series quickly. I can not recommend it after all.Was this review helpful to you?

It was ok - it had potential to be a really good series
If it weren't for the negative points, the series would have been top notch. The series itself had potential. So sad. It could have been one of my favorite series. :-/4/10
Negative:
1. Less Episodes
2. Few Kisses (could be more - i liked the pair - so sad)
3. The two personalities bothered me of Zeng
Positive:
1. The Kissing of the Maincouple
2. The Maincouple
3. Acting
4. Story
5. That they have become a Couple. Fortunately, a good end.
6. I liked the Scene on the shower of the two. (Zheng Yu + Wu) It was very sexy!!!

maybe this drama is one of drama that I don't know how to criticize?simple drama with simple medical story, even have a continuous season, but they complete the story and problem every season
maybe the only one problem is , the distance between season 1 and season 2 too far? 2017 2020 ,far enough to forget some figures mentioned ,chairman shin, his daughter, his secretary, the doctor who nurse park like before
and i think there might be season 3? and if so I hope not too long

Story 8.0/10This story starts with Korn and Intouch, a couple that made a promise to find each other in the next life before they were torn apart due to homophobia. About thirty years later, they are re-incarnated as Pharm and Dean. I found the concept of this story very interesting and I felt like the writers/producer executed it well. It touched on the issue of homophobia and how it can affect people which I enjoyed because I have not seen many series that discuss this. This story also touched on the affect of mental illness on individuals. Overall, I enjoyed the way it discussed very important themes and how well the story was written. The only issue I had with the story is that it felt a little bit scattered. We would get random scenes that did not tie in with one another at all like the scene where Korn's brother finds Intouch and him talking and smiles to himself. I thought we were getting the POV of Intouch and Korn so how were we able to see this from his brother's POV. This also happened with Intouch's friend where we saw it from his POV which also did not make sense.
Acting/Cast 7.5/10
I liked the cast of this show, and I saw the cast better themselves as the show progressed making it more enjoyable. I felt like Earth and Nine did an amazing job in their scenes, and they were always tugging on my heart strings. However, many of the other scenes in the beginning felt a little awkward to me, but by the end it got much better!
Music 6.5/10
I don't think the soundtrack in UWMA is very significant in developing the plot and I only noticed it a few times: I found it nice during flashback scenes, but that is the only time I have really enjoyed the soundtrack. Other times, the soundtrack felt wrong. For example, in moments where the couples are laying in bed together and upbeat music plays, I felt like the soundtrack threw off the mood a bit for me.
Re-watch Value 6.0/10
I personally have only re-watched the scenes between Team and Win as well as the first episode because those were my favorite parts of the series. Other than that, there were not enough good scenes for me to want to re-watch the series.
Overall 7.0/10

Just watch it!
If you haven't been watching this drama already, it is probably because you haven't witnessed the magic that comes about when Lee Woo Jung and Shin PD work together. This season's last episode came out today and so I thought a review was in order. Don't worry, no spoilers :) (I hope...)Let's start with the story. There is something so refreshing about this drama compared to all the other ones out right now. At first, I couldn't quite put my finger on it but now I can. Like their other works, this masterpiece is normal? There is no supernatural, no major drama or crazy accidents that usually appear in medical dramas. There was no real enemy. There is no exaggeration. It is simply the story and relationships (romance or not) of five very charming 40-year olds and their playlist through life. The humor did kill my stomach multiple times. There are just so many golden moments that highlight their dynamic.
The cast...the talent and hidden gems in this work cannot be rated. They were perfect. I can't imagine anyone else playing their respected roles. You can tell they prepared hard and well for this. They are all respected in the industry with many works under their belts. I always forget they are actually actors and not actual doctors going about their lives. Also, just to let your mind be blown a little more...their band? They are actually playing :) Such a talented group with this indescribable dynamic.
Next are the amazing Lee Woo Jung and Shin PD. Their works are a constant guessing game. I say that in the best way possible. It is a thrill when watching. They give you the hints and pieces slowly. You really grow to appreciate the genius behind the writing and it always amazes me whenever I see the parallels in scenes or just how they set something up. Their works are always refreshing and great pieces that may not drift you to a fantasy world but make you enjoy your current one. I always end up seeing a version of myself or an awesome group of friends that I would love to hang out with one day. The best part is you can't guess anything until it happens. Replay people understand :)
When we talk about music, it has to start with the band music huh. In almost every episode, we see the band play a song that usually wraps up the episode. The songs are chosen to fit the contents of the episode and are a pleasure to the ears. I get blown away by the cast's dedication and willingness to practice. The better news? I hear they are actually debuting. The OST itself is amazing and filled with such talented voices. I have been listening to it religiously since release. I am currently too while writing this :)
Rewatch value?! I have been rewatching it to gear up for the final episode and even just while waiting for the other episodes to come out. I also see myself coming back to the series so for me it's high. The series hasn't even ended yet and I have already rewatched it several times!
The only downside to this is there are only 12 episodes that means one was released a week. The pain of waiting ;-; But I did it anyway. I do this a lot for anime but almost never for dramas. To give you an idea, the only other one I remember doing this for is Nobody Knows and that had two episodes a week. I didn't really mind waiting though. Don't get me wrong it was painful but the quality of each episode made it worth it so I didn't mind. The good news is this is getting a season 2 soo :) Hopefully, if you guys watch it and give it some love, a season 3!?
I would say, if you are interested, give it a try. If it isn't for you, then move on. BUT if you liked Replay or just want something light to land on after some intensely long drama, this could be the one. I came for the amazing Lee Woo Jung and Shin PD but stayed for everything. This is actually one of my favorite of all time! I think I tend to review popular ones or ones I liked. This is the later. Well, I am going to go refresh Netlfix for the millionth time and hope the episode is out while crying about my empty life after it is over. (update: I finished ;-; )
Also...just wanted to put it out there....Ikjun is my favorite character in the Kdrama universe..I think. 0-0 WOW I didn't even have one before this! Well, why are you still here? Go watch it? Maybe? No pressure.

Don't you dare miss this.
It took me a while to start watching 'Hospital Playlist'. I didn't think I would like it this much and oh Lord, I was wrong.Typical medical drama? Forget about that. This drama is a new way of seeing things. I wasn't expecting this at all. The comedy here is, omg, amazing! I laughed A LOT, especially with Ik Jun and Jun Wan. If you haven't watched this yet GO and do it NOW, or I'll make sure you do :)
Let me start a review the proper way now that I've made clear you should watch it, just in case you wanna know a little more.
The story develops amazingly since the first ep. At first, it may be a little hard to follow since they'll be introducing a lot of the cast, but it'll get easier. Still, it took me a while to learn all of their names (and now I can't get them out of my head). It's obviously a medical drama, but it's different from any other I have seen; they will form a band. I repeat, in case you didn't read well. They. Form. A. Band.
The band is one of the best things for me, but it may not be for everyone. However, you're free to skip the band scenes. In my opinion it's necessary for the drama. It's one of the things that make it different (and so good). I also discovered a lot of good music with them, so it's a plus.
If you ask me what I think is the main theme of this drama, I would say it isn't medicine but friendship. The reason I'm saying this? You'll discover it once you start watching (but it's not hard to guess, is it?). The medical parts are marvelously good, though, and they make sure to feed us well-written and emotional stories for each patient that we meet. I can't really say anything else without spoiling. There's obviously romance in this, but I wasn't expecting the 'couples' at all. Still, I screamed like a crazy b with them (cough, wintergarden couple, cough).
Overall I would say it's a drama that shows the daily life of a group of friends that just happen to work at the same place, but have different stories to tell. It's funny, not boring at all, knows how and when to make you cry, and also has a lot of heartwarming scenes (and couples). What more can you ask for?

Recommended to watch!
Started watching without much expectations!OST in this drama are amazing. Ji So is really talented! Her voice is lovely.
It's my first time seeing both leads and I look forward to see their future dramas.
I really loved those episodes when Kwon Ryok started to like Ma Ha and pestering her. It was funny and cute.
It makes you feel butterflies in your stomach. Sadly, after EP 10, there was not much scene express the affection between the main leads. I felt Kwon Ryok looks become colder to Ma Ha compare to the earlier episodes. Kiss scenes were a bit awkward like they used to be in idol drama.
Overall it was a good idol drama.Recommended to watch!

A rollercoaster of emotions
I enjoyed this story so much even though it was one of the most heart-wrenching, draining, and emotional experiences I've had in a while. The amount of tissues I used while watching QOT is crazy. This drama had so many different hidden meanings. To me, it meant life, death, family and love.Ngl this drama had its ups and downs but to be honest I loved it and I am happy with how it ended.
The actors and actresses did an excellent job playing their characters. Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Ji Won have played their roles really well, and their chemistry is just perfect. I've watched Kim Soo Hyun since Dream High and he has never disappointed me. There's a reason why he is the most expensive actor in Korea. As for Kim Ji Won, she is such a good actress, she portrayed her role so well.
I do want to point out Park Sung Hoon’s acting. I hated his character so much which means he did an excellent job. (but please don’t hate the actor he’s just doing his job!).
Overall, the ending was good for me. The way they showed Hyun Woo as an elderly man, visiting Hae In’s grave. That broke me T^T I cried so hard. The pictures in the house, their daughter. They had their happy ending even in the afterlife.
"When only one of us is left, the other one can come and meet them. Then it won't be scary at all.” T^T❤️
