ok so this drama...what can i say lol
I JUST FREAKING LOVED IT!

Im a big fan of jisoo and Park bo young and now an even bigger fan of Park hyung SIk, even tho it is my first drama watching with him in it. i just thought the way they all portrait their characters was off the charts. the chemistry between the main lead was something just truly amazing. i hadn't watched something so sweet which made my heart flutter in a while! I usually suffer then second male lead syndrome especially when it is jisoo lol coz i feel like he deserves better and actually deserves to get the girl but in this drama, i was strangely okay with him not getting her coz honestly i think they were perfect and no one could have done it any better.

the drama is absolutely hilarious although i do think that some scene were just over exaggerated and could have been cut out. some heartfelt moments, thrilling moments and some action. this is a must watch and i can't wait to see what they actors have more to offer. i hope to watch them all in other dramas as main leads and hopefully jisoo's next drama has him getting the girl lol

Well, I really tried liking this drama but it didn't work out. I tried giving it time, saying that it would be okay, that the story will be better from episode 10, guess what, it didn't get better. After each episode, I started to think about if it is worth it, and finally, after 16 painful  episodes, I gave in. I just couldn't bear it anymore. The only thing I did like about this drama was Henry, and that's all.  Okay, I did like the acting, the actors did play really well.
About the parts I didn't like.....
Not only that the beginning was sad and really emotional, but in most of the episodes, at least 4 times, the two main characters cried. I understand, it is a drama, it is normal for them to cry a lot, but it is not normal to cry a million times in each and one episode. Seriously now, after watching an episode, I felt so sad and depressed, it made me feel weird and I didn't like that. I usually watch K-dramas to feel somehow better, not to get depressed.
The story itself was kind of weird, it started with abuse and with emotional scenes that made me not want to continue watching. But I didn't give up, and I kept watching even through I hated it, I didn't want to start a new episode, I was searching for something to do instead of watching it.
I personally don't recommend watching this drama, only if you want to get upset and depressed.

Love the cast hate the story

I think the headline is explanation enough. Anyways I recommend u go watch hometown cha cha cha cuz it’s good so far orrrr Move to Heaven ? ohh or prison playbook. U know what also hospital playlist. Okay is that 500 characters. No? Okay there’s also go back couple. Orr crash landing on you. Honestly I also wanna say this show made me so happy in the first season and the cast is amazing and it’s so well done visually. But this season really made all that lose its meaning. U can’t end it like that I felt like I was watching a joke ending the whole time. I’m not sure what happened but I think something changed so they had to do this. Idk is it revenge from the writer cuz we kept saying everyone keeps coming back to life. Good byee

A Lot of Writing Issues but Still Watchable

My 4 categories are Acting/Cast, Writing, Direction/SFX/Music, Entertainment Value.

Detective dramas are one of my least favorite genres to watch. They tend to be formulaic and, therefore, boring, but every once in a while, I’ll give one a shot. I decided to watch this one because I was in a drama slump at the time, so I was picking up various dramas from different genres to try out.

Acting/Cast: The male lead was clearly the most interesting character. There was really no other reason to continue watching this drama other than maybe for the slow burn romance between the two leads. If you’re not a fan of Ahn Bo Hyun (안보현) as an actor or if his character is this drama isn’t appealing to you, then you probably will not like this drama at all. The cast is good and the acting is good…it’s just that the male lead takes up way too much of the focus; everyone else just feel like side characters. The team members did have decent chemistry though. 6/10

Writing: It was formulaic in the first…6 episodes maybe. There were also weird cases involving hypnosis and ghosts…So this drama isn’t the most realistic (which is strange for a detective drama). I almost dropped it, but I saw comments saying that the drama gets better as it goes. That turned out to be accurate; this drama does get better each episode. The case involving the female lead and her father’s backstory was the point when it really became interesting for me. Once that plot point was wrapped up, however, I felt like the drama lost some steam. The male lead’s plotline just wasn’t as interesting to me. It was too predictable. Also, the dark and mysterious plot surrounding the male lead from the beginning turned out to be overly dramatic nonsense. The writing (especially for a detective genre) isn’t very intelligent. It didn’t feel as though a team of smart detectives were solving crimes together -- it was more like technology doing it for them and the male lead using his fame, money, and connections. So…not much brain power going on (actually, the male lead made the detectives seem like a joke. How did they ever solve cases without him?). I did like the lightness of this drama, however. I could watch 15 minutes here or an hour there whenever I felt like seeing the team again. However, it became a little too dark in the end, which was a bit off-putting. It was also weird how certain characters treated the male lead like he’s a ticking time bomb because he has childhood trauma. They should be the ones to know that simply having childhood trauma doesn’t necessarily make someone evil (especially when the male lead is repeatedly shown to be a good person). 1.5/10

Direction/SFX/Music: This drama felt well produced, although cheesy at times. It had good, choreographed fight scenes, which is always a plus in my book. It has a unique OST, too, which adds to the charm of the drama. The music has a cartoony or comic book detective feel. 6/10

Entertainment Value: Like I said earlier, I almost dropped this drama after episode 6. The rich, famous influencer solving cases gimmick just wasn’t quite compelling enough for me. Maybe, it’s because the drama was a bit too ridiculous in the first half. Maybe, it’s because solving the cases didn’t feel like a team effort. However, it did get better and characters began to grow on me a little bit. It took me a long time to finish this drama because I would just watch a little here and there while waiting for more episodes of other dramas to air. 3/10

Overall, I gave this drama a 4/10. For me, a score anywhere from 4 to 5.5 means that I wouldn’t recommend this drama, but it is still good enough for a one-time watch (meaning, I don’t feel like I wasted my time watching it). It seems like they’re planning for a second season. Would I watch it? Probably. Would I expect it to be good? No…but it does have potential to be better than the first season.

(5/10) Story: The story kept me captivated enough to complete both S1 and S2; however, most of it was due to the urge of my wanting to know what happens at the end. I think it's a unique story since I didn't see much good versus evil in this drama. It was more human versus human meaning that there were faults in both sides but also good in both sides. Although the story is unique, I gave a mediocre rating because I feel like compromises could've been made in one way or another.

(10/10) Cast: I didn't notice any type of flaws in the regards of acting.

(8/10) Music: I usually do not pay too much attention to the music because I'm super focused on the story; however, the rap in this historical drama is quite not my taste. I think the opening and ending is fine though.

(1/10) Rewatch Value: Too long for little progress.

|| S P O I L E R S A H E A D - I N D E P T H R E V I E W A H E A D ||
I'm super into the Xiao Fan, Jing Yu, Shu Shu, and Xue Qi squad and also the war between the Ghost King and the Qing Yun sector. The romance is okay, I would love to see Bi Yao wake up and that would be ideal but the thought I had the entire time was "both sides had legitimate causes for joining the war, other than being simply power hungry". I actually wasn't entirely happy with S1's ending where the war suddenly went on a halt due to Bi Yao's death and how soulless Xiao Fan became. Yes, his lover just died protecting him and yes he is a super compassionate person; however, a war was going on. His friends were dying. It's hard to move on, but in situations such as war, you just have to. I was still okay with that; however, what took the cake was when he worked with the Ghost King to bring Bi Yao back. At that moment, Xiao Fan had a great opportunity to kill the Ghost King. I'm not trying to be unsympathetic since I like Bi Yao myself; however, so many people from both sides are fighting to their deaths and Xiao Fan gave up the opportunity to kill the Ghost King just because they were caught up in their emotions about Bi Yao.

As for S2, it felt like a waste of time. Xiao Fan finally kills the Ghost King, which could've happened in episode 55 of S1 and saved dozens of people's lives had he just done so earlier. In such a way, it's like Xiao Fan sacrificed the lives of people from both sides in order to save Bi Yao. And the ambiguous ending made this feel even more unnecessary. It was on purpose of course, since the novel ended in a way that was unpopular for most; however, I still wish the script writers/directors just ended the drama the way they wanted to without worrying about the novel. Bi Yao resurrected? Cool. Xiao Fan finally bidding Bi Yao farewell forever? Cool.

Because both sides had such legitimate motives, it was difficult for me to root any one team on. For that, my ideal ending is probably going to have everyone question this review. I'd like it if Jing Yu, Bi Yao, Xiao Fan, and the Ghost King all died together with Qing Yun sector's victory. Jing Yu and Xiao Fan because I can't imagine Jing Yu's happiness without Xiao Fan and I can't imagine Xiao Fan's happiness without Bi Yao. Bi Yao because the Ghost King would need to die for Qing Yun sector's victory and as a sacrifice for being unable to kill Xiao Fan, Bi Yao dies with the Ghost King. And Shu Shu with the others will continue to train the ways of the Immortal Sword while telling the story of this era.

Fantastic - Heartrending

LOVED IT! The cast is superb - everyone did a fantastic job, especially the leads Yang Mi, William Chan and Xu Kai Cheng. The costumes, hair, storyline and the fighting scenes are just Great....my favorite fighting scene is when Haishi is on horseback at the border displaying her superb archery skills - EPIC scene. The romance is great too - slow buildup - a constant yearning of two soul that fate will just not give a break. Their love kept me glued to the series. I only wished that they showed a little bit more of their time together at the end. The Bro-Romance was good too - showed both male leads love, respect and good wishes towards each other - Always wanting the best for each others lives and livelihoods. A 10/10 rating, worth the watch and recommendation from me. With regards to the ending I personally wish that: A little girl caught that feather and called shifu - "daddy"- that would have smoothed my aching heart a little and also giving the series a possibility of a 2nd season. As this would have tied in with Haishi's wish to have Fang Zhu's children and continued his special bloodline too. -just saying. So don't delay, go ahead and watch for the magnificent plots, fighting scenes and the emotional roller-coaster that you experience in this drama. Officially the best Cdrama in 2021 for me. Side note: This is my first WC drama and I was totally mesmerised by him- loved how his character was portrayed.

Best Japanese Rom-Com in the last decade.

What can I say about this legendary drama that hasn't already been said? There's a reason why this drama was a phenomenon in Japan and overseas when it was released. It was Mone 's breakout role and catapulted Sato to international stardom. I watch a lot of Japanese dramas and this drama is really up there with the very best of them ;from the last 3 decades even. Even till this day Koitsudu still top most popular/beloved of most lists least in Japan. The OST obsessed, I still listen to it till this day. The script is not new. This has been done so many times but the huge success of this drama is mostly because of Mone and Takeru electric, amazing chemistry imo. I don't rewatch dramas often but this is 1 of the few I rewatch the most. It's such a beautiful slow burn falling in love story. Amazing cast, cinematography, music...this is 1 of the rare instances where everything came together to create MAGIC ✨

Acceptable

May be some people didn't like the show that much but its their own opinion. This drama is just 7 episodes long, and, of course they rushed the ending, however I think the cast was great. And I'm expecting a better and long story if there will be a season 2.
I think FL was indecisive but there was a reason for it. She lived her life alone without any parental guidance, so when a lone child faces problem, then it becomes hard to find right from wrong, and she was high schooler, and then a burden of pregnancy was just wild.
And I don't understand why the writers are obsessed with sending the FL to New york, you will know after watching.
Ri-an was a main character but he has not gotten a single real scene, like when ML solve some mystery or act like a hero. Writers did him wrong.
I think the story is all about Kang Ha and him solving the mystery of his brother's death, it would be better if the writers just made him the sole main character.?
Overall the cast was good, they could make a better story.
If you watch it, it would caome to and ened before you know, so I recommend you to watch this, the views are just great.

Just a regular modern day drama

This drama started off with a very powerful first episode. The grandma, kim hae sook played a huge role not only in building the storyline but also the success of the first episode.

However, everything just went downwards the following episodes. I do not understand why the drama need to include the character nam do san and suzy’s love story whilst taking into consideration how effective han ji pyeong’s character with the grandma. I think the storyline was just created to drag fans into this drama rather than to serve masterpiece to viewers.

I would have loved this drama more if Han ji pyeong and the grandma was the main leads, helping each other reach the success together rather than seeing suzy and nam do san’s love story and the whole sandbox concept into the scene.

The drama has an itaewon class type of cinematography, modern but too modern to let the emotions out from you. It was rather a simpler plot than a real business drama or even a friendship drama.

The music was so-so, nothing really special and remarkable about it.

I wouldn’t actually watch this drama but I’ll give it a 3 for rewatch because I might rewatch the good old days of the episode 1 of the grandma and han ji pyeong.

My sons never disappoint me

I liked the japanese original, but I was so damn happy to hear Gemini and Fourth would be doing the Thai version. I just love Thailand so much dude.
First, they removed all the homophobia from the original and I loved that!!!!! I'm so tired of homophobia being a plot - everytime - to make the story go wrong, it's 2024 I want these cute gays being cute and having problems without having to be victims of hate, duhh.
Kieta Hatsukoi was good and innocent, I think that's why they chose GeminiFourth for the roles because they were always great at being teenage shy lovers, and they proved that you can have that and also have lil kisses.
I wasn't such a fan of the straight couple in Kieta Hatsukoi, the boy was very annoying and didn't seem to be a nice guy either. Half, on the other hand, was perfect. A saint, even. It was very funny how two chill guys like him and Kongthap were able to easily deal with such melodramatic and paranoid teens like Mudmee and Atom.
I don't think I have to go into detail about the main casts' acting, Fourth and Gemini always bring everything they have to the scene and make it really emotional because they act and match so well.
I really like everything and I even loved the straight couple 'cause they were really cute, attractive and had great chemistry. I hope to see Pahn and Chokun again soon (not necessarily together), especially Pahn (I fell in love with her).

Unfortunately this was a let down after the 1st season. The good: Noh's club still has that group fun & charisma. We get to see a little deeper into some of the members lives. Noh & Phun are still together. The bad: the flashbacks were a MAJOR part in this season. After a certain point I changed the playback speed to 1.5 on youtube. It got so bad I started counting the # of flashbacks, but after 3 in 9 min of an episode I gave up & started fast forwarding the flashbacks. Also, I get product placement but there were some scenes where an advertisment was incorporated into the script. It was very obvious, clumsy and immediately reminded me this is fiction, with actors, trying to sell me on a drink they sell there in Thailand. I kinda regret wasting my time watching this second season :(

So good!!! I understand what all the hype is about. It made me laugh, cry, happy, sad, joyful, melancholy. Overall the story is so good. I can't give it a 10 just due to the fact that it felt like some of the scenes were out of order, or some plot lines kind of seemed unfinished. I would definitely recommend for a starter drama.

No errors could be found !

This is definetly a must watch for so may reasons:
1.) the actors were just amazing, they were just perfectly chosen for the characters
They delivered all the emotions just excellent so that i got immediately attached to them (actually it wasn‘t even necessary to let them talk, they could‘ve just let their impressive facial expressions talk), also their chemistry was on point (there was always such a natural and comfortable atmosphere around them) ,so I’m hoping to see an other series of them

2.)the story was simple without any unnecessary drama, that’s why i liked it so much
Just them two trying to understand themselves and getting completely overwhelmed with unfamiliar emotions is enough for a superb storyline.

3.)the music was just amazing and perfectly matching for the series

4.) their visuals
Like how can one look so freaking handsome plsss !

5.) the script is so well written
I would always giggle when they use this super logical way to communicate, it‘s so hilarious
But you will have to watch it yourself to get what i mean and i promise you will love it.

so far it‘s one of the best (if not the best) Korean bl series out there

The only thing i did‘t like was the short length, like pls Korea don‘t torture us so much with such good series that are like only 20‘ each episode. We need longer Korean bl seriesss!!!!!!
I recommend watching this series for so may reasons, so if you haven‘t watched it yet go for it!

Heart warming, beautiful and peaceful. Definitely worth watching

I knew that all the episodes are going to be full of good feelings and it really was. I really enjoyed watching it and the best part of this drama was the acting, especially wu lei's. His character is absolutely beautiful and the chemistry between the two leads is amazing. I was really impressed with wu lei's acting skills and I will definitely keep appreciating his character and he himself.
OSTs are so much beautiful and I really enjoyed listening to them. Honestly, the love depicted in the series is a rare thing, does such love exist in the real world? In any case, this series will make you look at the whole thing with a big smile
And also the sports part gives you a very good feeling.
The three main male characters have a such a beautiful and deep friendship and I loved them a lot :(
What I wanted to be talked about more was Lin Lin and Meng Xiao Dong relationship and actually i have to say that i fall in love with wang xiang yue badly again. I hope to see him in more dramas also as main role
