Misty depicts the struggles that Go Hye Ran faces to stay relevant in the news world as a prolific and respected anchor. As the story sets up an incredibly twisty plot, this drama delivers on some very compelling characters. Nam Joo is the star in her role as Go Hye Ran. She is breathtakingly gorgeous in this role with her collection of pant suits, winter coats and slips. She is always dressed to kill! What a powerhouse!

Though the who-dun-it story is mighty twisty, I was most intrigued by Go Hye Ran’s plight to stay relevant in an industry that keeps trying to push her out as she gets older. I appreciate that this drama created such interesting and nuanced female characters.

Misty has an overarching theme of questioning people’s dreams and motivations. What leads to their happiness and how far will people go to attempt to attain that happiness?

As a whole this drama offers an intriguing plot with compelling characters. Though I did grow a little tired of the court room, the stunning performances kept me engaged as a whole. This drama kept me guessing throughout! Overall, this is a well put together story.

I loved this drama. I mean I really loved it. The storyline was "mostly" believable. Nothing was too over the top. Admittedly like most 100+ episodes there were moments when you just wished an anvil would fall on the various antagonists of the show.

I know a lot of folks have been bent out of shape because the bad guys/gals didn't get what we all think they deserved. However I liked the idea that there was forgiveness and acceptance in the end.

I do think they could have ended it sooner, the whole cancer thrown in at the 11th hour really wasn't needed. I was disappointed too that there wasn't any real physical connection with Geum Hee and Sang Won - they kind of gave off a sibling feel when it was all said and done. It wasn't a deal breaker though.

Rewatch? Most likely not. Too long.

The characters make me empathize so much. I've been crying at least once almost every episode for them. Happy when something good happens and despairing when they are unhappy. Very, very well written and directed ensemble. Nice pacing of what is essentially a none story. The supernatural elements are just a spice to make the story move along and catalyst for emotional development. The visions are few and far between, so you tend to forget that this show has supernatural sides.

What should be a "nothing special" TV series, is in fact a very well done drama about people in love, personal relationships and emotional development. Excellent acting, brilliant directing and good paced script. The final episode has the BEST END CREDIT SCENE EVER! ??

It's really over?

At first this drama kind of reminded me of you're beautiful because in the first few episodes and the two main characters are the typical arrogant bad boy/idol and a cross dresser.
But then the story wasn't anything like that, there's not really a triangle love and the story mainly focuses on the TWO main characters and the group M2Junior, teamwork and dreams. This drama may have rookie actors in the supporting roles but since they were idols in the drama, and their singing/rapping skills are great, it didn't matter.

BUT yeah I now there are already lots of comments about the ending, but I got to say that again. The nding wasn't that bad... but it's unaccepable as a ending in my opinion since it's just way to open, you don't really get to know what eventually happens to the characters.

This drama was an interesting, funny drama with a good soundtrack and a cool guest appearence.

Onebof the cutest bl series ever!

There's nothjng negative I could think of for this cite serie. The best thing about this series is how it portrayed the traditions and life of working class Thai people in such a lovely way.
Each character is well-developed and played so well by talented actors. The scenes are never boring and of course there are times you could predict, but it's still very enjoyable and funny.
Music- the director and producers made the right choice in choosing such traditional music. That's what set apart from all the other Thai bl series out there.

Subtle but sweet!

The story unfolds in layers but each in due time. Amazing acting by actors. The drama portrays different minute details and emotions. I kept waiting for new episodes. Normally revenge driven dramas are almost boring but the complex relationship among characters are one of the few things that keeps you glued to the drama. Each character is mature. They have strong feelings but they only express them in a very mature way. Especially FL and ML. This drama will be enjoyable for anyone who likes mature characters not the usual ones in chinese historical dramas. The female characters are strong and they have their different ways of living life. They fight for what they believe in and they see the big picture for their nation. That's one of the best things about this drama.
I loved the drama and enjoyed it very much.

If I only could........

Omg that show was fireyaaaaaa. The story line left my mind blown like you think you know but do you really. The acting was superb especially the villain in the end I call that poetic justice.the pull and push of the main stars romance was amazing because let’s be honest ain’t we all tired of the teasiology that is kdrama’s.I couldn’t help but feel like the blonde hair guy brought some different vibe in a great way. Also let’s not forget the PI I always love everything she acts in .The other characters also worked in harmony to bring the story such light .Such a great show.I am thrilled.
Please watch this show and get lost in the different scenarios and remember never get trampled on like Hera the Goddess of revenge said.Get even
I will probably rewatch this at some point when I want to get immersed in a great picture show.
The music was lackluster for me except in the last episode .
Show lots of love for this.I believe it was underrated.

This is actually the first exorcism movie that I chose to watch and to be honest the trailer made it scarier than it seems. I would say there is horror and jump scares etc but the movie overall was pretty good.

Story:
Basically it's about (Park Seo Joon) Yong Hoo has doubts and hatred of his faith. Due to his circumstances and belief, he grew up to be a martial arts fighter. An incident happens to Yong Hoo and he meets (Ahn Sung Ki) Father Ahn. Father Ahn is an exorcist and goes around performing exorcisms. Some incidents happen which bring them to (Woo Do Hwan) Ji Shin and the story deepens.

The plot might seem slow but every part was necessary. You get to see the character growth of Yong Hoo and the decisions he makes after legitimately being tempted by the devil.

The exorcism parts were quite scary but as I lack experience in watching exorcism movies, I am not a good judge.

There are scary parts, jumpscares but there are also heartwarming parts, character growth, and comedy.

Cast:
The cast was amazing. Honestly, my friends wanted to watch the movie because of Park Seo Joon's abs. (Which was worth it cause the movie was better than I had thought it would be). There are many parts that had us laughing out loud and also parts which made us hide behind our fingers.

Ahn Sung Ki was amazing as Father Ahn. The way he acted with his voice at normal volume to a soft whisper was oddly comforting. He made him sound softhearted, kind and very much like a Father/ Priest.

Woo Do Hwan always had the look as someone sinister, someone dark. He was so amazing as the Serpent Satan follower and his acting was perfect in the movie.

Music: The music/ bgm was good and it did help with the flow and pacing of the movie.

I dare say halfway through or at the end of the movie, I immediately had the thought that I would rewatch the movie and was more than eager to recommend the movie to my family and friends.

I would say that like how different Train to Busan was as a zombie movie, The Divine Fury was more than just about exorcism as you see Yong Hoo grow and change as a person. It was pretty inspiring.

Galileo 2, of course, is the sequel to the highly popular Galileo series that ran in 2007. A show about an esteemed physics professor who aides the police in solving crimes with supernatural or impossible means using the science of physics. The first season was a masterpiece with the way it created these imaginative crimes that had you scratching your head the entire episode up until the reveal. And this season captured much of what made the first season great, but was not able to fully replicate the greatness of the first season.

The story flows exactly the same as the first season's. Manabu Yukawa, played by Masaharu Fukuyama, hears about a crime that recently happens and then proceeds to turn down the request for help until he hears the impossible feat it took to commit the crime. He then goes on his spiel about how "nothing is impossible" and thus begins his investigation. Then he does his famous bit of vandalizing the nearest surface with scientific formulas with whatever material he can use once he's solved the trick to perpetrating the crime. And it's always entertaining. You sit on the edge of your seat waiting for that moment to happen every episode!

But this season had a few differences. First the female lead in the first season, Kaoru Utsumi, played by Kou Shibasaki, was replaced. In comes a detective named Misa Kishitani, played by Yuriko Yoshitaka, a young brash female who follows her instincts and intuition and wants to pursue justice to the umpteenth degree. Not the first time we've seen this character in s detective show, but still could make things interesting.

The problem is that Kishitani provides little to nothing to the show other than occasional comic relief and lots of headaches in between. She really is essential in solving only ONE crime during the entire 11 episodes. While Yukawa and Utsumi had this great chemistry and work well in tandem, Kishitani and Yukawa are like skin and sandpaper. Her arguments with Kuribayashi aren't entertaining either. I found myself actively rooting for Yukawa to yell at her to 'shut up' numerous times during the show. She serves to hinder the show more than to help.

Besides that character fail, they do a great job at casting superstar talent to grace their show. Lots of top-notch actors and actresses play victims and perpetrators throughout the series. I marked out when I saw that the villain from Legal High made a guest appearance in the series. He was so entertaining.

Another BIG problem I have with this season is them spoiling the perpetrators early in episodes. I love the 'whodunnit' mentality of Japanese crime shows. And the fact that they show who commits each crime before the reveal sucks, but I still like how they don't spoil the method. A small consolation prize I suppose. I also hate that a few of the crimes were weren't as good as some other suggested ones that were never shown. Hell, in the last episode, after solving the crime, the prospective new one was more interesting than the one they just solved!

All in all, it was a great sequel to Galileo. It keeps the format and creates more interesting crimes to solve. Much more innovative crimes than what we see in most crime shows. But this season didn't quite capture the magic of the first season. Plus the two leads seriously lacked chemistry. Definitely a must watch for people who've watched and loved the first season. Even if you haven't, you should watch it. But for those who have seen the first Galileo, you'll find that this one isn't as great as the first one.

The legendary "Chuno" is finally on my completed list! I have delayed this drama for 5 years!! I heard so many praises about it and the fact that it actually got high TV ratings (nearly 40% that's almost half of the population) which is considered a HUGE audience base says a lot. First of all Chuno is as good as the legend says I'm not saying it's perfect made drama because it isn't!! which is why I think it's a legend!! because even though it had flaws yet I still loved it and enjoyed it!! IKR weird isn't? Few things did irritate me and yet I still loved it! Doesn't that show how much this drama is special? a drama you would love regardless of its flaws how amazing is that?

Story
Definitely unique and original! it really is different in every aspect!! It has romance but not the kind that we are used to see in dramas. Though the main point of the story is the romance it's not the kind that comes into your mind when you 1st read the word romance. The story does not cover the process of them falling in love but the consequnces of that love. Therefore it does not have romantic scenes but memories and flashbacks of what they had and this is one of it's uniqueness. A love like no other a devoted man that is torn between resentment and hate and love and yearning. The story also does not address "revenge" in the way it is usually addressed in K dramas. Finally, it is the only drama that addressed the "slaves" side of the story in those times (Maids is also another drama that talked about slaves but it is in no way can be compared to this one).

Acting
WONDERFULL, AMAZING, OUTSTANDING, INCREDIBLE!! Loved loved loved JH!! This is his best ultimates performance It does not get any better than that!! and the rest of the cast they all were amazing!! My only disappointment is LDH. I used to love her in (My Girl) which was 10 years ago I think and I remember very well that she used to be very a good actress but here she simply sucks. She's actually one of the things that irritated me in this drama (she was supposed to be a slave yet she's the only one who had clean face and full make up on!!) she cared so much about her appearance than making the character believable!! and to add to that her acting was really horrible I wish I can find even stronger word than just horrible. But on the bright side she wasn't given that much screen time or dialogue so THANK GOD. I can't believe this is the actress I used to adore. Nonetheless she did not matter the one who really matters here is JH and I'll say this again JH DID AN AMAZING JOB as
Lee Dae Gil (one of those characters that you will forever remember).

Music
One of the best OSTs I've heard in dramas, all of it no exceptions!! The kind of OSTs that is hard to forget.

Rewatch
Possible but not for me.

Overall:
If you are looking for originality, looking for something different, worthy of your time, and specially If you are sick of the recent ones and miss the old good stuff which made you fall for dramas in the 1at place (which is my case) then I suggest you give this a try. However if you are looking for romantic love story with romantic lovey dovey scenes, love triangles, dark revenge etc... then this is not the drama for you and one more thing I'll let you on Two small but essential tips:
1)One of the best endings ever made in dramas.
2)Hot guys everywhere with chocolate abs (6pack) exposure (all over the screen!! you will find it hard to focus at first) XD

At first I was a little uncertain about the premise but decided to give it a try… and I glad I did! This series is one of the best rom-com ones with a feel-good ending…and despite the premise, is more about two people who still love each other even after divorced and have a 2nd chance to love…
This is such a lovely drama! Not perfect, it had its roadbumps, especially nearing the end, but damn, if that wasn't such an enjoyable ride. This drama has a spunky female lead and an adorable dorky kind male lead and throughout 16 eps, they never ever waver their feelings for each other… above all they both get a 2nd chance to understand each other better, have a good communication and share burden together as a spouses. And for that I loved the evolution of the characters. It was satisfying to see the characters growing but that they were also consistent in principle that they didn't feel like completely different persons. So their coming back together felt well earned and healthy... The OTP really shines and CJW and NAR so far is my favorite drama couple this year.
The acting is GREAT and the music is fun and light, nothing groundbreaking, but still enjoyable…
This drama is wonderfully light, funny, romantic, sweet, and has amazing chemistry btw the couple. And although it has many clichés, it puts a playful twist onto them. This is what you call Rom-Com Drama.

A series you would either love or hate. In my case, I really, really love this series! :)) The story was so captivating and it wasn't hard for me to love the two main leads as they portray two different roles each. And it amazed me how well they played the two different characters. The cinematography was superb, sceneries taken so beautifully (70's scenes, winter and diamond snow scenes, raining scenes), with an amazing OST that fits in the mood the scene wanted to portray.
The first 4 episodes might be too slow-paced but I guess, it was done to show how love in the '70s was! As it proceed to the modern day love story of Joon and Ha Na, the story became more fun and exciting as the love between the two blossom. Another thing I like about it was that the guy gets to like the girl first before she did :> Though the drama became draggy at some times, it will generally touch your heart as it depicts a real LOVE STORY. It would be one of the shows that I would keep loving for a long time.
If you're looking for a drama that will show pure and heartfelt romance, this drama is a must-watch ;)

The first season was just okay. As they only presented the universe of arthdal and the characters, the last few episodes were only entertaining when it comes to the story.

So, the whole setting is magnificent and the cinematography is amazing. The costumes and make up were top notch as well. I don't really like the way they divided the series into three seasons though, as it didn't make sense and they didn't concluded the first season smoothly.

That said, the first episodes presented the whole arthdal universe. However, they should have made a better job with it, as it was not easy to understand it and it takes a while to remember the characters (part of the three main).

Overall, the three main characters were the best part of the drama, in addition to the cinematography. They were interesting and well presented. The performances were excellent as well.

So, seven out of ten, because the story hasn't even progressed yet.

Now come on now, if you haven't at least watched this drama by now, we've got a problem. LOL, no but seriously if you haven't even heard of this drama before, i recommend you start watching......LIKE NOW.
I can't even begin...ugh. Its such a perfect drama. It's actually the first action drama i've ever watched really. I watched it back in 2012, and man, i still love this damn drama. It's still #1 on my list, and idk if that'll ever change unless, they have a CITY HUNTER SEASON 2!!! NAO WHAT?!?! No but lets actually get to this review ;p
Lee Minho at first, i srsly didn't get why most people liked him, or even why i really liked him as an actor before this drama, except for the fact that he was just another cute face who did cliche dramas..But then City Hunter came to light. And s*** got real.
He portrayed his character Lee Yoon-sung so beautifully, i can't even..He made you feel every emotion his character was feeling, he was just THAT convincing. He was super sexy while doing it too. And the action was amazing, i never wanted someone to punch someone in the face so many times in my life than i did in this drama LMFAO.
Oh and you know those dramas that frustrate you and how theres always that evil witch causing trouble. Yeah there will be quite alot of that in here. But don't worry Minho is here :D
and the man who played his dad, Jin Pyo, that man, i will never forget him, he did such an amazing job. i can't even, the whole revenge concept and his love for Yoon-sung, it just hurts tbqh.
And then there's the lovely Park Min Young, this girl had me from the jump, shes an amazing actress, and once again she doesn't fail to that here (as expected), the love story isn't cliche and boring and too lovey dovey to the point you wanna cringe but it works into the story and she not like most kdrama females a damsel in distress, she strong and independent which i totally love.
And the prosecutor man, Kim Young Joo, baksu, outstanding job, i loved this man.
This drama seriously deserves every single rating, award and amount of publicity it got. It was truly beautiful. And what makes this drama even more fantastic is i NEVER, and when i say never I MEAN NEVER re-watch and i've watched this TWICE, AND THAT'S A BIG FREAKING DEAL. So i recommend you watch this.....NOW! you'll love me for it..

- chanqsun xoxo

When the budget is low, you can only do that. Regarding the actors' experience, only good opportunities can improve. They have potential. You have to start from somewhere, don't you? I liked the story, light and a little spicy. I liked some parts of the acting of each actor, except the girl in black, who was weak and exaggerated. The timing of each episode could have been better explored and the production was not the best. It would be nice if I could see these same actors staging this same series in about 5 years. Sometimes I think of some series with potential, they should be remade by the same people after some time to prove their evolution.
