Would you what it

I loved this drama it kept me hooked….
It was also spicy and sweet…..
It literally had me at the end of my seat
I recommend this drama it’s not that long so you can binge it

Firstly the male lead??? but he did portray being the bad guy pretty well though.
The female lead is beautiful but unfortunately she’s takes time to realize what kind of man she deserves.
The other male lead he is so sweet so caring (I can’t believe he is just 20) I just wish he had more balls to let out his feelings .
The other female lead I felt really bad for her at the end because she got played too, but she did annoy me for a bit.

So should you watch it ??
Yes ?

I do not even know where to start. I apologize for my English, I'm not fluent.

Rebel is a story about taking the reins of life itself. It begins in an intense way, and shows how a slave tries to break free in order to protect his family. But unfortunately, some things go wrong and the family falls into cycles of suffering. One revenge leads to another, and tragedies continue to happen. Fortunately, this does not leave a difficult story to watch. It is light on many times, intense on others, and all the time we see ourselves being captivated by the characters.

--- Action
The action scenes are very well done, even to almost have supernatural elements. The cinematography is beautiful, but despite that sometimes have such beautiful scenes that disclose the rest of the style of the drama. But that does not count as a negative point at all.

--- Performance
PERFECT. Nothing to complain about the actors. They all played the roles brilliantly. However, I detest the Gil Dong child. But it's just my opinion and how it did not last long, irrelevsi it and I followed the show.
Yoon Gyun Sang demonstrates all his acting power as Gil Dong. He is so innocent and strong at the same time. Your character emanates a warmth and dignified maturity. And because he's so tall and big (the broadest shoulders I've ever seen in my life) he looks like a big bear brother or like I said to my brother, a wardrobe haha. Yoon Gyu Sang seems to have been born for this role (as well as Mo Hyul in Six Flying Dragons.) He simply COMBINES a warrior who fights for a cause! And especially now as Gil Dong, he had a chance to show off a man's strength! Ahaha

I do not consider Ga Ryung as the protagonist. Unlike other fans, I think she existed there just to be Gil Dong's romantic couple. She was not annoying, she was a good character. A strong woman for her time as well as a good wife and cause partner. But that's all. Whether she was there or not, had no strong influence on the plot. But the Importance of it is not for the story, it is for our hero, Gil Dong. If it had not been for Ga Ryung, he probably would have had a solitary existence. His love for her is remarkable. It is perceptible that it is she who allows him to live as a human being as well as a fighter. And that's what makes the novel beautiful. A firm, supportive, strong-willed woman. She also fights her own war later, on the scene with the King. Honestly, a woman strong in many ways and who matured very cruelly.
It simply hurt in me to hear her call for her husband, and Gil Dong call for her. The way the name "Ga Ryung" came from Gil Dong's mouth, seriously, it caused me tears! And how she screamed for "Husband" ... A lot of chemistry! And a beautiful novel! It seemed like everything was going to fall apart!

The king is a character full of conflicts. He has a distorted moral sense and believes that he does the right thing all the time. Unlike the other fans, I did not find him such a brilliant character.

The female light of this show was Lee Honey as Nook So. What was that, gentlemen? What bright woman is that? What a formidable character is this? She definitely shone. Rebel would not be the same without this actress. All that she lived, being an imperfect woman, and also ahead of her time; being a Gisaeng and an "artist," she conquered the power in the only way she could get, and did not regret it to an end. A mature woman, full, feminine, strong, and full of defects. This was Nook So. The villain who was never a real villain. Palms for her! She, unlike Ga Ryung, did not need a man to make her shine any more. Nook So shone so bright that it made the men who were by his side still stronger. This is the presence that the character played by Lee Honey had.
Nook So and Gil Dong were the ones who brought this drama to its zenith. It is interesting to see the form that links with the other.

This was a memorable drama. Although I have the feeling that they have not taken advantage of all the premises they put into the plot, I have nothing to complain about. All very good.

One of the best epic soundtracks, side by side with The Princess Man and Six Flying Dragons. I can not stop listening to the Music and to be touched by remembering excerpts from this drama.

Yoo Gyun Sang, you're an incredible actor and born for epics!
I will rewatch soon !

Wicked mix of horror, a sprinkle of comedy & a dash of romance – all in just the right proportions

This series is an exceptional blend of horror with a touch of comedy and romance that never goes overboard. The actor's performances are top-notch and the main lead chemistry on screen is palpable. Fast-paced, plot-driven narrative consisting of just 4 episodes, ensures that every moment counts and maintains my interest throughout. The show's attention to detail in bodybuilding and characterization adds depth and authenticity to the characters. Moreover, the cinematography is on point, enhancing the overall visual experience. Overall, it's an excellent series that manages to deliver a captivating and well-rounded viewing experience. And major props for not trying to shove any sneaky product placements in our faces

Most realistic love story

Hmm, how do i start….. I clicked on this movie when i already know the ending so throughout the movie i cried every times there’s a sweet moment between them.
I read a lot of review of this movie before i decided to write one on my own, since most review saying they felt bad for the male lead or female lead doesn’t deserved male lead blah blah blah. (I dont mean ur opinion is wrong but i just see thing differently. Dont come at mee ?)But to me i can understand why female lead chose to leave him. Firstly, she is a person who lacking of security feeling becuz of her dad and the male lead is also know about that. Secondly, regarding the male lead accident, more or less it’s becuz of female lead so even if they are together, I believe she still has the guilt deep down in her heart. And the moment she overheard male lead saying the word regret she know for sure from that time on she lost her secure feeling in their relationship and as much as she doesn’t want it, they still have no choice but to break up. To normal person, a word “regret” from male lead might sound normal or people think he didn’t mean it but to female lead, she knows for sure that even if they love each other so much, their relationship will not work out. Plus I believe that if they still continue that relationship, the male lead silently feeling “regret” while female lead silently feeling “guilty” and to both of them this isn’t a healthy relationship so it lead to breaking up make so much sense.
One more thing is i also see people saying how could female lead moving on so easily, how could she has a boyfriend, remember when the male lead inspired her to chase back her dream…. Just to clarify the movie we all watched was just from the male lead perspective so we don’t really know what the female lead been through when there wasn’t male lead so we can’t assume she moves on that easy. (I mean if there’s an extra clip talking about the female lead perspective that would be so much better)
Tbh, although the ending was heartbroken but i have to say it’s a really beautiful ending for both of them. I love the quote where the male lead said “i’ve seen your happy face, sad face, now lemme see the face that forever will not belong to me” i cried my eyeballs out at that scene. To both of the their 15years relationship will forever be cherished in their memory. And i love this.

A simple and beautiful story about love and grief

This movie will be in my memories for a very, very long time.

The whole storyline was nothing out of the ordinary, but that was precisely why it works. It was so, so relatable that it hurts to think about because it reminded me of my own experience in life with my grandparents.

I cried throughout the entire movie. The cinematography was gorgeous, and reminiscent of growing up in an Asian household.

I highly recommend this movie. But it's definitely not everyone's cup of tea. If you're a fan of the slice of life genre, then this movie is for you.

Nothing dramatic happens throughout the movie, it just tells a story about a grandmother who is dying, and how the family deals with the aftermath of the heartbreaking news.

This was probably the most twisty-turvy drama I’ve ever seen. Just when I thought I had it figured out, it turned out I was completely wrong. And I had to pay very close attention to what was going on on-screen to not miss any clues.

There’s some really nice whump in this drama and the found family trope is positively glorious! Dong Baek’s, the main hero’s, team loves him like their son/older brother and they don’t doubt him for one second, not even when it looks really bad. They trust him with their lives. And Han Sun Mi, the main heroine! At first you don’t get why she’s the way she is, so seemingly cold, but as the story progresses you get why and you get her. And you realize just how much she cares!

Also, surprisingly to some, this drama has no romance. None. What the characters share is a genuine friendship and that’s all. So, if you’re looking for something sweet and romantic, this one is not for you. If you want a dark and twisty thriller about telepaths, then this one is for you for sure!

I think this had everything to be good, but the ending disappointed me.

I've seen many people saying that the drama was to repetitive , I don't disagree with that, but it my opinion it wasn't a bad thing, it doesn't make the drama tiring , instead I think it creates a whole scenario of loop that will create the creepy atmosphere to the story.

I was really enjoying the series, but the ending disappointed me a little bit, I thought the ending was too short for the whole scenario created, which lead to things being left unexplained, some of those things took me a while to understand by myself and others I haven't figured it out yet. Another thing that confused me was the cut-scene at the very end after the credits, I couldn't quite understand if it was after the end of the series or if it was during it. But I think that if the author had made the ending a little longer and explained things better the drama would have a lot more positive reviews.

Also they could have chosen better actors, I mean, they weren't bad, but sometimes I wasn't feeling the creepy vibe I was supposed to.

Aside from that, I think drama was good.
The atmosphere created was amazing, it was creepy and uncomfortable, the music the scenario and the effects, all contributed for that.

I also loved the idea of the story, a creepy school where unusual things are happening.

One thing that made me really feel like it was creepy and thrilling were the moments when the kids going to make a decision and I would start nagging at them saying it was the wrong decision.

I did liked the drama, except for the ending, but I would recommend people to watch it because it's interesting and since it's short, it doesn't take that much time to watch.

I'm thinking about rewatching the series when I have time so that maybe I'll be able to understand the ending a little better.

Six stories- one great movie

I loved the plot! There are few chapters and in each of them there's a story where somebody ends up being killed. I loved the one with Choi Minho. How can he be such a lucky guy even in movies lol His story is gripping but the ending is terrifying as well as funny (black humour vibe). How come this movie is so funny but also frightening at the same time?

-huge spoiler-
If you want to see a 'falling angel' who almost killed Minho and Pyo having the time of his life as peeping Tom breaking into a girl's flat and wearing her underwear on his head, you should watch it!

Such a great thriller with lots of black humour (and not only). Worth watching!

Incredible Plot Twist !

The absolute shock I had when watching this series. I had first looked at some of the comments to see if this was worth spending my time on, and most if not all comments were positive. So, I spent my time wisely by watching this fantastic Philippines BL that brought on an aspect that I had never seen before. Cheat brings about a mesmerizing plot with a dramatic twist, involving love, lust, madness, and witchcraft.

Let's Dive In.

This has to be the very first BL I've seen dealing with something as supernatural as this. Yes, there have been some fantastical BLs (He's Coming To Me and The Shipper just to name a couple), but nothing like close to what Cheat brought us. Dark magic is something that I know nothing of, so just being able to see them cast spells and do chants was a fun experience. This was a very dark, evil, brooding, and erotic series. So surprising that it's a Phillipino Bl and low budget. Yes, this film was not on the amazing side of things speaking in terms of production, but they did the best they could with the funds available. You're immediately drawn out to the low quality as soon as the heat of the series starts. Even episode one is enough to get you sitting on the edge of your seat.

But let's move on to the plot. I genuinely didn't see that plot twist happening. I was actually getting quite irritated at Vee for continuing to trust Jennifer and Jay after the assaults and things they did to him, but after the plot twist, you understand that it was a part of his plan all along. It's crazy that all three siblings were able to fall for him, but it's even crazier that two of them were crazy enough to do whatever it took to make Vee fall in love with them. Vee says at the end that he doesn't love any of them, but a part of me believe that he might've actually started falling for Dong but is trying to rid himself of those feelings. The only argument that I can really give here is that story sometimes became too much and too overwhelming where I was confused on why the siblings were doing what they were doing, and how these events even began. It definitely became fuzzier during the last episode, where I had to strain my neck to understand what all was happening. Some parts could have been more cohesive, but other than that, a big pat on the back for how detailed and connected it was.

The acting was honestly pretty good. There were sometimes where it got to be a bit cringe, but for the most part, all of it was decent. Daryll was by far my favorite, with Tuesday and Allora in the next place.

Another great attribute that deserves its own paragraph is the raunchy, erotic, hot, but kind of poetic sex scenes. I don't even usually talk about the heat scenes much in BL, but boy were these one something different. Especially in a Philippines series in which I haven't seen many erotic stuff like this. A huge applaud on the actors for making them natural and not like they were uncomfortable.

Overall, this Phillipino BL was pretty fantastic. I don't have much to complain about (surprisingly) But I think it's just because I like the fact that this is a low-budget series, but it still was able to come out and be amazing for what it's worth. I highly recommend this for a watch. It's only 7 (episode 6 is a two-part) series that runs for about 20ish minutes. a beautiful cast and crew, an exciting and adventurous plot, and a season 2 that I'm very much looking forward to.

At the center of this drama, as the name suggests, is our heroine, Oh Sunny. She is a young actress who through unforeseen circumstances becomes engaged and married to her idol: Lee Hyuk, the emperor of an alternate modern day South Korea. The "grass is greener on the other side" is a fitting saying for this marriage, as the rose-colored-glasses are painfully removed from Sunny's view. We see her rise and fall to the challenges of becoming empress, but also her path as she navigates the relationships around her including her husband's mistress, her mother-in-law, and her bodyguard, Chun Woo-bin.

What makes this show awesome is the characters and continual surprises as the story progresses. I wasn't hooked on this until about the third episode, as I wasn't drawn to any of the central characters at the onset. Oh Sunny seems like a pushover at first glance, but that is part of the draw to the story: just how much her character grows. Not only is it believable, but the sets, costume design, passionate moments between the characters (the villains and antagonists are especially brilliant, and unabashedly self-serving for their own interests). I was on the edge my seat the whole time, and despite it only finishing up two months ago, I'm already tempted to start watching it again.

What is Love Anyway?

There are a lot of Japanese BL movies, also a homosexual office romance Doushitemo Furetakunai (No Touching at all) but to my knowledge Ossan’s Love is the first and only BL dramaseries that is mainstream broadcasted in Japan, so I was very curious.

True Love
Just like the other BL movies Ossan’s Love is based on a manga, and it shows. There are a lot of cartoon-like characters, and scenes, that made me laugh and eager to follow the story until the end. Perhaps because of this I started to stare and compare with another BL dramaseries, Diary of Tootsies (Thailand 2016)
Both series follow a couple of friends in their search for true love. The Thais series has a more western touch like Sex &The City, the leads are very straight forward in their desires with hilarious sex scenes. Ossan’s Love is more asian in the willingness to remain aloof in a traditional society. The chemistry between the leading couple is absolutely there, but the emphasis is on platonic love until the very last episode when their days of holding back seem over.

Summary
Ossan’s Love, literally the love of a middle-aged man, is about the love life of Haruta Soichi and his colleagues at an estate office.
Haruta is a good looking 33 year old man, also well hung if we have to believe the stares he gets at the men’s room, but with a goofy personality. He’s always ready to please everyone, perhaps because he’s too lazy to fight, which brings him in awkward situations. To make things worse he’s also lacking in social skills. That’s why he’s unlucky in group dating, but he enjoys a small circle of good friends.
Haruta still lives with his mother, until she gets fed up with him and leaves. Since Haruta can’t do any basic housework he asks co-worker Maki Ryouta to live with him. To his surprise Maki is the best partner he could dream of, but it seems life has more for him in stock. One day both his roommate Maki and his middle aged boss Musashi Kurosawa confess their ardent love to him. Also one of his female friends, Chizu Arai, goes into love mode. This is really too much for Haruta to handle. As his roller coaster journey to love begins, Haruta is constantly screaming and falling all over the place. Just like his friends and colleagues, who turn out to be exactly as ignorant on love and their desires as he is.

The Pros
Ossan’s Love is watchable for everyone, a warm and sweet opinion on humans and theirs struggles in life. Themes like group pressure, status in life, keeping up appearances, marriage, divorce, midlife crisis, it’s all there. The homosexuality makes it only more gripping. The cast is superb, not only the leading couple who gave me the feels. I also could relate to other characters, sympathized with the slighted lovers.

The Cons
This series is simply too short and way too platonic. Just like other fans I’m waiting for the sequel, what will happen to the relation of the male leads, and everybody involved?

The Verdict
I could see five seasons of Ossan’s Love and still be hooked, I guess. Please let this be the Modern Family Series of Japan.

A Really Good Storyline

I watched this a second time and liked it more than I did the first time

I think at first I was expecting it to be something different, more mafia based or something; so I maybe was disappointed.

The second time I watched it, of course I knew more of what to expect, although I hadn't seen it in a while.

The actors are very handsome and the acting is quite good, in my opinion. The chemistry between them was believable, and some of the scenes are hot!! (Not for under 18).

The only thing that I really thought could have been hyped up a little more was the last episode. It's not bad or anything, just fell a little flat.

Anyway, I guess I recommend maybe watching it through a second time, not right away, see if it hits you the way it did me because I revised my rating from 7.5 up to 9.5

Murky line between the hero and villain

Great suspense from the start as the bomb threat started to activate right away and time is tickling down, but it took quite long for the grand reveal to uncover, and the reasoning behind the threat is a bit ridiculous to be honest. However, the way they murk the line between the hero and villain is pretty respectable, the intention of the villain is one that is easy to symphatize with, just as they faced with the biggest question on humanity, that right there is the whole vision the movie aims to present.

Better to prepare your tissues before watching this series.

Story- 10.0
GMMTV really level up interms of the story. The story is such a classic for me. I really thought that the series is just the typical ghost-human story but it is beyond the box. The plot twist is so expect the unexpected and it left me some lessons especially in terms of reincarnation. (HAHAHAHAHAHA)

Acting/Cast- 10.0

Singto and Ohm really fit in each other the way that Ohm cries it makes me cry also. Singto really stepped up in terms of his acting. He really proved that he is versatile in terms of acting. I don't know but until now it really marks to me.

Music- 9.5

The music is so on point for me. The opening song really marks to me but I just find something a little more millennial type of songs.

Rewatch Value-9.0

I don't know but it really wants me to watch it again when I am bored. And I can feel the same feeling the series wanted to achieve.

Overall- 9.5

This is a masterpiece for me like it mades you happy, sad, cry at the same time. And I really recommend you to watch this.

Just like any other rom-com , but there is something new that will pull u into it.

When it first started it’s just like any other series I’m not that interested about it.. but as the story progressed , the development of characters is too good. Those subtle changes and improvements they mention in any human relationship are on point. May be this is the first time I didn’t hate any character in the series... the guy who is being judgmental about gays also didn’t made me mad because the writers carefully conveyed the mindset of people we find everywhere in society where we can’t ignore.
What I really liked about the series is the depiction of feelings of the characters .. kudos to the director and writers. OST is just awesome and it’s on my playlist now. Coming to the actors, wow! Everyone did splendid job. Generally I don’t like when they do overacting in the name of comedy but Aoki expressions are not over the top but still cute and funny. I really love when he’s shy or flustered and go all giggly . How can he be both handsome and pretty. Aida - Hashimoto couple are cute and lovable but I really like Aoki-Hashimoto friendship. Ida’s character development towards the end is good , a 16-17 yr old guy realising what like is ... accepting it....what love is!!! I wish there’s another season just to see how Ida changes in future.
P.s : how could I forget to throw some appreciation to “the Cupid - sensei” and “the Cupid - eraser”.
