Don't Go There, Juwon!

As for Team Groove's performance of "Prison", if it weren't for Park Han, I probably wouldn't have been that impressed. I wasn't even particularly captivated by Kenta's visuals (though he's undeniably talented). I think Team Groove's advantage was that, aside from having Park Han as their strongest vocalist, they also had a larger fanbase among the on-site voters than Team Rhythm Bench, whose members were all foreigners (and I do think they have stronger vocals aside from Han than TRB). The way Rhythm Bench executed "Prison" was beyond my expectations. It felt like a storytelling performance, and the whole package was excellent—from the choreography and vocals to the stability, execution, and emotional impact. TG carried the vocals, while TRB carried the overall performance. I honestly wouldn't have minded if TG had kept "Prison." What I found ridiculous was the huge gap in the votes between the two teams. Only 101 votes for TRB while 295 for TG?! That felt incredibly biased. It was obvious that the performances were neck and neck—even Changsub himself thought they had a real chance of stealing the song.I found out some of the on-site voters seated at the back couldn't clearly see Team Rhythm Bench's overall performance. Since they also had difficulty understanding the members' pronunciation, they relied more on who had the stronger vocals—which I guess is a valid reason. However, I still find it hard to buy that because the individual rankings didn't make sense to me. If the audience truly prioritized vocals, especially those with a clear view of the stage, then why was Park Han only 6th? Some contestants who didn't carry the performance as much—or even made noticeable mistakes, like Jeongwoo's dance mistake and Heejun's messy rap delivery—ranked higher. Kenta and Joohyoung deserved high rankings too, but if vocals were really the deciding factor, then Park Han should have been No. 1.To be honest, I'm not very happy with how this survival show was structured. Though it's unique, it became way too predictable. The voting system really sucked. At this point, I already know the underdogs were going to stay underdogs until the very end, and I'll just have to keep watching Cha Woongki suffer throughout the show. I'm actually glad I watched this a year later. I would've felt so much worse if I had watched it while it was airing.MOST MEMORABLE MOMENTS: Cha Woongki crying (while Gyeongho comforting him) and Juwon leaving Team Rhythm. How is a year-old survival show making me cry like this? I already know how it ends, yet I'm still this emotional. T^T BEST PERFORMANCE IN MY OPINION:1. 'Ignition' by Team Rhythm (this is overall complete and pro)2. 'Prison' by Team Rhythm Bench (very impactful and stylish)3. 'Prison' by Team Groove (powerful vocals, strong visuals)BEST PERFORMERS:Team Rhythm: JL; Li Zhinuo (Sirin actually, but Zhinuo just amazed me)Team Groove: Han; HanseoTeam Beat: Woongki; Jiang Fan

The weak hero

It’s nice to see their relationship growing though I’m still lost why and what they see in each other. And how can a cop turned lawyer cannot fight a woman holding a knife. It’s just so lame.

Team Rhythm Could Just Debut Already!

I think Team Rhythm's starting lineup could have debuted already based on this performance alone. Their chemistry was incredible. I'm so glad they all ended up debuting together.Even though I still prefer the original version of "Ignition", I really have to commend Team Beat Bench for giving it their all—especially their main dancer, Jiang Fan (I wonder if he's debuted anywhere yet). I also want to give a special shout-out to Dong Yun for being the sunshine of the entire league. I absolutely loved his positive energy.

Qin Ao's Arc

**contains spoilersOne thing I really admire about this drama is how well it develops its characters. Now we're in Qin Ao's arc, and his story is really heartbreaking. It's so painful when no one believes in you, not even your own family. I love how the boys skipped class (please don't do this in real life) just to find Qin Ao and stand by his side. Sometimes, all you need is someone to tell you, "I believe in you," and to know they'll be there for you no matter what.

The Turning Point

**contains spoilersWan Xing tried to understand the boys. As she ran, all these questions kept racing through her mind: "Why do they play football? If I don't even understand this, how can I lead them? What is it that makes them endure all this exhaustion and still keep playing, game after game?" When she finally found the answer, she could no longer ignore them. She could no longer be the slacker she once wanted to be. Instead, she chose to sincerely help them. This moment was so emotional and touching. And I think this is the turning point in Wan Xing's character.

hm

very heavy on exposition still + bad timing comedy + too much s*x oriented episode. My reaction to the NC: i think my problem is they try to go for feral, but didnt go full out, it became a bit cringythe way they were smelling each other makes no sense, why are u twisting this way and that way you would smell whatever u got close, when they lose control, u'd lose control and go for the act itself u need to put that inside immediately, u want it so bad it hurts, bc u're in a rut or whatever. no? if u are going for animalistic, go full out. Give me the full hardcore, smell the armpit, sure, lick everywhere, sure, put it in with the clothes full on, rip the clothes off, bite them, whatever. they gave us a slick scene ffs, with no explanation whatsoever for the general public, u telling me they can't give us full out? The scene was a bit like all over the place, like we want to go full out but not really let's pause for them to look into each other eyes. Let's have it be a struggle for control but have them be in a frenzy and then suddenly stop. Boat grunting did not help, like i guess he was trying so hard to control himself that it hurt? or oat was hurting him with all that moving? not sure hahahaha

Giggles and Tears

**contains spoilersThe first scene had me giggling. Wang Fa making the boys move Wanxing's chair as carefully and quietly as possible so they wouldn't wake her up, all while scolding them, was so funny 😅 Can we just call him Wang Downbad Fa at this point? Then Qin Ao saying "The laziest teacher in the world has finally woken up." This boy is always asking for a beating. Next, Wang Fa showed off his football skills to the kids, and you could already see Wanxing slowly falling for him. Then came the job offer for Wang Fa, seeing the boys' dejected faces and how their energy dropped broke my heart. Overall, this was another great episode. It balanced comedy, heartwarming moments, and emotions so well, and it never felt boring.

No. 7 Wutong Road

**contains spoilersThis episode took me on a roller coaster of emotions. The first few minutes were hilarious, Victor Ma's comedic timing is just so good. Then came the mysterious tasks, followed by the funny scene where the boys were recommending their relatives to Wanxing and Wang Fa getting jealous. The matching outfits had my heart fluttering and the scene where they reopened the tutoring center that was left by Wanxing's grandparents located at No. 7 Wutong Road made me so emotional. There was so much to unpack in this episode alone and every moment kept me hooked.

Mr.Kill EP.1 Review

I really enjoyed the first episode of Mr.Kill! Honestly, I was a little worried at first since the filming process felt quite rushed, but after watching EP.1, it turned out so much better than I expected. I know it’s still too early to judge since we haven’t seen the full story yet, and I might be a little biased because I love DewTee, but i’m genuinely satisfied with how everything came together.‎ ‎ The pacing was really good, and the cinematography, camera angles, locations, and overall atmosphere were amazing. The crime and murder scenes looked incredibly realistic that they genuinely gave me chills 😭 (which is also a compliment because it shows how well the team executed those scenes). The series has this eerie, mysterious vibe that immediately pulls you in, and I absolutely love that feeling.‎ ‎ One thing I really liked was how they started the episode. Instead of having a typical opening intro like many GMMTV series, they immediately brought us into the story with Kaye and the opening scene before showing the credits. It made the series feel more like a thriller or mystery film, and I was hooked from the beginning. There was no intro to skip, just straight into the atmosphere and story, which made the experience even better.‎ ‎ Dew’s acting as Kaye was absolutely captivating. This role is definitely challenging because portraying someone dealing with anxiety, panic, and such complex emotions is not easy, but Dew delivered it so well. You can really see how much effort he put into understanding the character. Even in scenes without dialogue, his expressions and body language said so much. His eye acting especially was INCREDIBLE. It made Kaye feel mysterious, complicated, and honestly a little unsettling in the best way.‎ ‎ I’m also so proud of Dew because he continues to improve with every project. Knowing that he also contributed his artwork to the series makes me appreciate his dedication even more. He’s not only an amazing actor but also someone who puts so much passion into his work.‎ ‎ For Tee, I can only say how proud I am of him. For his first leading role, he did an amazing job. His expressions, dialogue delivery, emotions, and the way he portrayed Phat’s personality were all so impressive. He perfectly showed the different sides of Phat being a serious police officer while also showing his warm and caring side when he was with his sister. Tee brought so much depth to the character, and you can really tell how much effort he put into this role. His acting has improved so much, and seeing his hard work pay off makes me incredibly happy. His voice, expressions, and overall presence were amazing. I’m really excited to see more of Phat’s journey.‎ ‎ AND OF COURSE… DEWTEE’S CHEMISTRY!!! 😭 Their chemistry is seriously insane. Every time they appear together, their dynamic is so interesting to watch. Their visuals complement each other so well, and they have this kind of presence that makes you want to see more of their interactions.‎ ‎ What I love about this series is that it immediately makes you curious, like who is the real serial killer? What is their motive? Why are these people being targeted? There are so many questions that make you want to keep watching. I haven’t read the novel yet, so I don’t know how the story will unfold, but i’m really excited for the twists and surprises because the story seems like it will have more layers than expected.
