Giggles and Tears

**contains spoilersThe first scene had me giggling. Wang Fa making the boys move Wanxing's chair as carefully and quietly as possible so they wouldn't wake her up, all while scolding them, was so funny 😅 Can we just call him Wang Downbad Fa at this point? Then Qin Ao saying "The laziest teacher in the world has finally woken up." This boy is always asking for a beating. Next, Wang Fa showed off his football skills to the kids, and you could already see Wanxing slowly falling for him. Then came the job offer for Wang Fa, seeing the boys' dejected faces and how their energy dropped broke my heart. Overall, this was another great episode. It balanced comedy, heartwarming moments, and emotions so well, and it never felt boring.

No. 7 Wutong Road

**contains spoilersThis episode took me on a roller coaster of emotions. The first few minutes were hilarious, Victor Ma's comedic timing is just so good. Then came the mysterious tasks, followed by the funny scene where the boys were recommending their relatives to Wanxing and Wang Fa getting jealous. The matching outfits had my heart fluttering and the scene where they reopened the tutoring center that was left by Wanxing's grandparents located at No. 7 Wutong Road made me so emotional. There was so much to unpack in this episode alone and every moment kept me hooked.

Mr.Kill EP.1 Review

I really enjoyed the first episode of Mr.Kill! Honestly, I was a little worried at first since the filming process felt quite rushed, but after watching EP.1, it turned out so much better than I expected. I know it’s still too early to judge since we haven’t seen the full story yet, and I might be a little biased because I love DewTee, but i’m genuinely satisfied with how everything came together.‎ ‎ The pacing was really good, and the cinematography, camera angles, locations, and overall atmosphere were amazing. The crime and murder scenes looked incredibly realistic that they genuinely gave me chills 😭 (which is also a compliment because it shows how well the team executed those scenes). The series has this eerie, mysterious vibe that immediately pulls you in, and I absolutely love that feeling.‎ ‎ One thing I really liked was how they started the episode. Instead of having a typical opening intro like many GMMTV series, they immediately brought us into the story with Kaye and the opening scene before showing the credits. It made the series feel more like a thriller or mystery film, and I was hooked from the beginning. There was no intro to skip, just straight into the atmosphere and story, which made the experience even better.‎ ‎ Dew’s acting as Kaye was absolutely captivating. This role is definitely challenging because portraying someone dealing with anxiety, panic, and such complex emotions is not easy, but Dew delivered it so well. You can really see how much effort he put into understanding the character. Even in scenes without dialogue, his expressions and body language said so much. His eye acting especially was INCREDIBLE. It made Kaye feel mysterious, complicated, and honestly a little unsettling in the best way.‎ ‎ I’m also so proud of Dew because he continues to improve with every project. Knowing that he also contributed his artwork to the series makes me appreciate his dedication even more. He’s not only an amazing actor but also someone who puts so much passion into his work.‎ ‎ For Tee, I can only say how proud I am of him. For his first leading role, he did an amazing job. His expressions, dialogue delivery, emotions, and the way he portrayed Phat’s personality were all so impressive. He perfectly showed the different sides of Phat being a serious police officer while also showing his warm and caring side when he was with his sister. Tee brought so much depth to the character, and you can really tell how much effort he put into this role. His acting has improved so much, and seeing his hard work pay off makes me incredibly happy. His voice, expressions, and overall presence were amazing. I’m really excited to see more of Phat’s journey.‎ ‎ AND OF COURSE… DEWTEE’S CHEMISTRY!!! 😭 Their chemistry is seriously insane. Every time they appear together, their dynamic is so interesting to watch. Their visuals complement each other so well, and they have this kind of presence that makes you want to see more of their interactions.‎ ‎ What I love about this series is that it immediately makes you curious, like who is the real serial killer? What is their motive? Why are these people being targeted? There are so many questions that make you want to keep watching. I haven’t read the novel yet, so I don’t know how the story will unfold, but i’m really excited for the twists and surprises because the story seems like it will have more layers than expected.

True intentions

I don't think Lanya was as forced as she claimed. From how she acted in this episode, I'm pretty sure she agreed to do that quite easily! 🤨As for Tongzhou — will he want to use Lifei now only to boost his power so he can protect his land? Yeah, talk about "love".... 🙄Lifei finally knows she's the Divine Tree, right? That's what I picked up from her memories. 🤨🤷‍♀️And Xiuyuan using Yacha's powers so openly? Does everyone already know he's him? Or have I missed something? Given his secret endeavours, he has already accepted he's the Demon Lord. So, is he Yacha with Xiuyuan's personality (or pretending to be like him)? Or is he the same old Xiuyuan, only with Yacha's powers and memories? 🤔

That “Enhance!!” moment at the end of the episode is just crazy. It was fun but you keep noticing those unrealistic things.

"After all, he doesn't have a father."

That was an extremely cruel, s***ty thing for Zhou Ru Ji to say. Not cool at all and I would hope that Min Hui realizes it. That line pushed me away from neutral on Zhou's character. He's well aware that Xin Qi just learned about his son and is extremely emotionally vested in being a father and that line had to hurt. To say that crap and then further, disruptively insert himself and try to 'mark his territory' by pissing everywhere in their family business was just not cool. If he was a true friend and really cares about Quanquan, he would respect and give space to them building up their father & son relationship. And he would respectfully tell Quanquan to call him "Uncle Zhou", which is much more appropriate. But instead he is a jerk.

Freenbecky ofcourse

Freen sarocha and rebecca Patricia Armstrong “freenbecky” One of the best episodes in the series truly stands out — it has everything: pain and angst, love, weddings, and heartfelt emotions. The balance of comedy and romance makes it even more engaging. Freen and Becky, as always, deliver a fabulous performance that brings the story to life and leaves viewers deeply moved. This episode is a perfect mix of drama and joy, making it unforgettable and highly recommended.

Finally!

Gotta love DewTee's characters because wdym introverted detective meets nerdy pushover little psycho mangaka and is immediately smitten by him? I am hooked for sure and i'm very much looking forward to the next episodes, especially how the dynamic between Kay and Phat will develop in those peculiar circumstances...

Three Stars

Not much plot to be honest, introduced us bunch of people and expect to remember who is who and what does at work.Relationship between main pair is at least weird, I'm honetsly curious if something like that could really happen.I really want to be nice and understandable but, one actors he face is making me uncomfortable. Sometimes it is better to not fix your face. Because of that I cannot focus on his acting but I'll try.
