Gokusen Season 2 Episode 4

seeing seven’ tall tsucchi dress up like a middle+schooler was so fuckigm funny i truly wish more live+actions did this CORRECT LOGIC DOES NOT MATTER. yes gokusen is male+centered we all knew this & some of us don’t want to admit this. this is why the women are all on romantic competition with each other[ except for the other female teacher with glasses ,her fate is still unwritten & promising ]& this is why the boys get to act like perverts[ & why the female teachers also get to say predatory remarks every ten days ]& whatever i guess y’all can laugh about it but like it’s so many shows with false accusation story+lines & seeing yamaguchi chase & hound this middle+school girl about her confession is not the way this episode should’ve gone because this was seriously almost an amazing episode 。・:*:・゚★,。・:*:・゚☆ 。・:*:・゚★,。・:*:・゚☆ tsucchi is the play+boy flirty womanizer archetype ,not actively shown but he just has the hall+marks. & then we watch him empathize with this younger girl not as a romantic partner ,& even acknowledge that she is just a kid ,but as his younger self. he listened to miyazaki’s plight & stood up for her. this is not necessarily a negative or positive realization but i am of the opinion that miyazaki could’ve been a boy or a younger brother ,sibling or basically anypony tsucchi wouldn’t be sexually attracted to & it playing out the same which i think is nice but i can see the problems of miyazaki’s experience as a girl being muteable 。・:*:・゚★,。・:*:・゚☆ 。・:*:・゚★,。・:*:・゚☆ that is where i think the writers fucked up. like i said pressuring miyazaki to where she has to flee because she is that uncomfortable was not how this should’ve gone. yamaguchi is a teacher. her job is to care for kids. that should not mean the only kids we care about are in class Ⅲ–d. she is at a point where she cannot exactly ignore the war between what her parents want & what she wants & we do not get to see any of that played out. maybe a scene between her & tsucchi meeting on chance could’ve been something 。・:*:・゚★,。・:*:・゚☆ 。・:*:・゚★,。・:*:・゚☆ i do like tsucchi the most. i think he was phenomenal this episode. i will say we cannot do this ’ ’ I HATE TEACHERS ’ ’ schtik for the third time in a season these other boys need to find a new reason. he got on the last plane out of vietnam though

Episode 36 of Pursuit of Jade really said “go big or go home” and then proceeded to do both at the same time. We open with Xie Zheng’s victorious march into the capital, and honestly, the man understood the assignment. Out of the sea of handkerchiefs flying at him like it’s a historical version of a K-pop fan meet, he catches Chang Yu’s ribbon, and just like that, imaginary fandoms split into factions. You’ve got the “male lead supremacy” squad, the “female lead forever” camp, and the chill “we’re just here for vibes” crew. Cinema reflecting life, or life reflecting cinema? You decide. But the real meat of the episode is Xie Zheng taking those 108 lashes, and I’m sitting here like, sir, are you made of steel or plot armor? The entire mausoleum sequence is pure cinematic poetry. Director Zeng Qing Jie really said let me paint with pain and snow, and wow did it land. The visuals of snow falling over Xie Zheng and Wei Yan, the haunting stillness, and that soft warm light cutting through the cold like a quiet hug made the whole thing feel almost otherworldly. And when Xie Zheng sees his mother, it’s giving emotional damage but make it aesthetic. Then comes Chang Yu, ready to take him home, only for Xie Zheng to stop her and ask her to kneel properly so he can introduce her to his family. That moment? Oh, it hits. No grand crowd, no loud declarations, just a man battered and broken, finally claiming his wife in front of the people who matter most to him. It’s tender, it’s intimate, it’s everything. Back at the Xie mansion, their conversation feels like a milestone. Xie Zheng laying his heart out like that shows just how far he’s come from the guarded man he used to be, and Chang Yu staying true to herself by rejecting the need for another ceremony is so on brand. Their love isn’t loud, it’s steady, and honestly, that’s what makes it powerful. And then we have Qi Min and Qian Qian, and wow, what a whole different flavor of chaos. Their dynamic is like watching a beautifully wrapped red flag. Qian Qian plays along so well that you almost believe she’s into the madness, maybe even enjoying it a little too much, but the ending reminds us she’s not here to lose. Still, the tension between them? Wild. Qi Min kneeling and begging her to be his empress is dangerously attractive, and their kiss? Let’s just say it did not come to play. The hunger, the intensity, the borderline scandalous choreography with neck kisses included, had me questioning if I accidentally switched to a different drama. Censorship clearly took a day off for these two, and they are easily the spiciest couple on the menu right now.

The long waiting is so worth it. Everything is perfect, well done even the very small part. Don't forget the crying mess caused of that one scene. You won't regret to give it a try

i kinda get where Kang was coming from - which was more out of self-preservation, but i didn't like how he rejected Moo & i for sure didn't like him acting like he was doing it for Moo's sake. u gonna be selfish, ok - but stand behind ur decision - don't hide behind a lie. Neth who i wasn't sure about until now, was a true friend in this ep - she didn't throw the truth in Kang's face but she didn't try & lie to let Kang save face either. ************************************************************************************** & even though i liked how Tae & Yos became close to Moo, i am still holding a grudge (especially against Tae) & Moo just keeps showing what a catch he is, dude doesn't hold a grudge against anyone - Kang lucked out. the only problem now, Shone is gonna turn into an obstacle, weird that he is in the area where his cousin is & he doesn't bump into him, or thought to invite him to Kang's mother's dinner. but i guess we needed this weird "love triangle". ***************************************************btw mentioning Kang's mother - i don't like her, i feel like she is taking advantage of her sons guilt & using it as a leash to tie him down; to her & that business she is running. which is sad. from what i can see, they not poor so she can afford to heir help - but she rather keep things as they r, cause then her son wont even think about spreading his wings & trying to pursue his own dreams. even when she asked him about Moo, it felt like she was guilt tripping him in some weird way - like i've only got u & now ur turning to another?!? i think that was his issue (why he looked uneasy) & not the fact Moo is male.

Episode 2 we really get to see why things are as they are . The storyline continues to take shape into things we all most likely have faced once in our lives, touchy subject with mental health etc . Honestly love how realistic it is with the world we live in today. Which just goes to show you don’t know how another person is or going through so lead life with kindness people!! The director really brought out the comedy in this episode lots of laughs. Enjoyed it, can’t wait for Episode 3 :)

Knocking this all out today. Uh how big is this age gap? this show hella dark. It is so short but i cant bring myself to sit through it lmao. Okay so it is jumping back and forth from back then to modern day? i feel dropped in a world that I know nothing about. Probably been the longest 20 minutes of my life, my god. I think my main critique of this show is that, there is no plot, it is just an idea thrown on a screen. I have no reason to care about anything also becasue there is no lore. Okay that reveal was cool, but I needed more lore for it to feel more satisfying. Oh and its just over. Um, i dont know, maybe 7/10, idk how i feel about this one. Okay bye!

WDYM SOOCHAN IS BLINDED BY HIS JEALOUSY like gosh we get it you juwahae (ifykyk;) ) myunghee but for it to go to the point that ur so blinded u decided to snake on heetae and myunghee TO HEETAE’S FATHER A MAN KNOWN FOR ABSOLUTE TORTURE whilst sooryeon also decides to be a bitch to myunghee and decided to say that she “DID NOT” know about heetae’s and myunghee’s relationship when you know damn well you did and why was she getting so pressed HER BEST FRIEND WAS LEAVING IN A MONTH AND ALL SHE WANTED WAS HAPPINESS, yet sooryeon decided to a bitch and call myunghee a fake friend all due to the fact that myunghee said the situation reminded her of how sooryeon kinda “got her to leave” (myunghee took the blame for sooryeon, but sooryeon didn't force her dw it was bcs sooryeon was her bsf and she didn't want sooryeon to take the blame) school, and just like right now, sooryeon wants myunghee to leave the country and go abroad for her studies so then sooryeon could have a peaceful marriage. LIKE GIRL OBVIOUSLY MYUNGHEE HAS THE RIGHT TO SAY THAT, SHE DROPPED OUT OF HIGH SCHOOL FOR YOUR SAKE AT LEAST ACKNOWLEDGE THAT GOSH. And I think sooryeon starting to develop feelings for heetae with the way she’s acting, like I get where sooryeon comes from but has she forgotten why she’s marrying heetae, ITS FOR A BLEEDING CONVIENIENCE, yet she’s getting pressed with her best friend out finally experiencing happiness, just because the happiness that myunghee is experiencing is with her “fiancé”. AND OMG MYUNGHEE AND HEETAE WENT TO PICK UP MYUNGSOO FROM HIS TRAINING CAMP AND WE FOUND OUT JUNG TAE WAS HEETAE’S BROTHER SO THEY ALL GO OUT FOR LUNCH AND GO TO A THEME PARK AND AFTER JUNGTAE AND HEETAE WERE TALKING WHEN JUNGTAE CRASHES OUT ON HIM since his mum was being called a mistress even though jungtae was the legitimate son NOT HEETAE even though heetae was getting all credit and glaze. I feel bad for poor jungtae he just a 12 year old as well..

Strong start! Perfect presentation of the plot! Very dark. Beautiful cinematography, a mix of Wes Anderson and Lara Von Trier but BETTER!

Pursuit of Jade Episode 35

First ImpressionThis episode had EVERYTHING — chaos, comedy, romance, and politics all colliding at once.Episode ThoughtsWe open with absolute chaos as Qi Min’s men storm in, turning a peaceful moment into violence. Manager Yu getting injured while trying to protect Bao’er just adds to how ruthless things are getting. Even when she makes Qi Min promise to stop killing, it’s clear that promise means very little — especially with her weakened state.Back in the capital, things take a lighter turn with the Royal Princess and Female Lead. Their interaction feels almost sisterly, and seeing the FL dressed up is such a contrast — but she still carries herself the same way. Then the Male Lead secretly returning to the capital… risky but very on brand. Their nighttime meeting and promise to watch fireworks together? Soft. Romantic. Exactly what we needed in between all the chaos. And then… the Emperor 😭Trying to solve political tension by making the FL his noble consort was NOT the move. The way she shuts him down by casually revealing her “husband” is the Marquis had me laughing — that man switched up REAL fast.We also start getting hints about what happened 17 years ago, especially through the Royal Princess. It’s clear there’s a much bigger truth still buried. But the highlight? Song Yan’s entire sequence. From acting all polite to getting verbally humbled, then embarrassed again, then again… and finally collapsing after realising who the Male Lead is — I was crying 😭 it was comedy gold.Meanwhile, the Grand Tutor and Qi Min continue scheming, pushing the Emperor further into fear-driven decisions. Everything is building towards something big, and it feels like it’s all about to explode.Character Notes • Female Lead: Still effortlessly iconic. Whether it’s fighting, shutting people down, or navigating court politics — she does it all. • Male Lead: Quietly devoted. Sneaking back just to see her and keeping his promises says everything. • Qi Min: Completely unhinged. Any sense of control is slipping. • Emperor: Honestly… he’s out of his depth. Every decision feels like the wrong one. • Song Yan: Unexpected MVP of comedy this episode 😭Final ThoughtsThis episode balanced tension and humour perfectly. The stakes are rising, but we’re still getting those character-driven moments that make everything hit harder. I’m obsessed.Favourite MomentSong Yan realising who the Male Lead is… and immediately fainting. Peak comedy.Trope Check • Hidden identity reveal • Secret night meeting • Strong female lead • Political scheming • Comedic humiliation • Protective ML • “Fake/hidden relationship”

😂😂 Today's episode was so funny, with SY getting slapped and tossed around all over the place, and the Emperor being terrified just by the mention of XZ's name. And the most memorable part was the Marquis's entrance and the dark look he gave XY.

have to say this before i forget - love the director of that school - great character, BUT the homeroom teacher OMG, i wanna murder the dude, insufferable! now that, that's off my chest - another cute ep, i am amazed anew at Moo's audaciousness, dude doesn't give a f*ck about who is watching or how they judging him. he zero's in on his target & the rest of the world just disappears... very impressed by this personality trait, as most of us care too much what people r saying & thinking about us. we r so self conscious cause of that, we never really dare to go all out - not like Moo. *************************************************so love how he is wooing Kang, even though i am wondering why he gotta work this hard at wooing Kang, when Moo is as big a catch as Kang is. so why fight it so hard??? but as a viewer very entertaining - making me love Moo more & more. ***************idk why we needed the addition of the cousin, just hope he not gonna be a third wheel - or an obstacle to the pair. **************regarding the 2nd couple (of sorts) who would've thunk-it Potae is a man wh*re lol, but have to say idk how he hasn't realized that Payos is utterly smitten by him. he keeps treating him like a pet or a younger sibling. but the look in Payos's eyes - u can't read that in any other way but totally infatuation. so is Potae just ignoring what is obvious cause he not ready to deal with Payos feelings? or he really this oblivious?!? either way i am starting to feel really sad for Payos.

OMG IT SO SAD AT FIRST since myunghee told heetae to go and get engaged to sooryeon and so because she said that heetae acc got engaged with her and it was so sad bcs heetae and sooryeon was shopping for clothes for the engagement ceremony when they bumped into soochan and myunghee, and myunghee was helping soochan pick some clothes out OMG HE DEFO HAS A CRUSH BUT HE HASNT CLOCKED because he was going on about how myunghee considers sooryeon a sister so she should as sooryeon’s brother he should buy clothes for her. BUT IF SOOCHAN KNEW HIMSELF THAT HE HAD A CRUSH ON HER I don't think he would've said that but he so cute and giddy though he lowkey deserves a good woman. AND I KNOW WHY MYUNGHEE HATES HER FATHER its because she took the blame for some pro-democratic thing sooryeon did in high school but they forced the blame on her so she had to drop out of high school and even her dad told her to say yes to the fact she did be part of the pro-democratic activist thing even though she wasn't a part of it AT ALL. LIKE BRO OMDS AS HER FATHER UR SUPPOSED TO HOLD UP AT LEAST A FIGHT, and it was so sad because her dad came to visit her to ensure she wasn't involved in anything but instead on myunghee’s desk, her dad found a pro-democratic document titled “declaration of democracy” even though during that time the country was ruled by martial law (military was governing instead) and so obviously myunghee’s dad tweaked out and ripped the paper apart which made myunghee crash out AND THE POOR GIRL EVEN SAID SOMETHING LIKE “I FOLLOWED EVERYTHING U SAID, I LIVED A QUIET LIFE, BREATHED QUIETLY AND EVEN SAID YES TO EVERYTHING YOU SAID SO WHY ARE YOU STILL ANGRY?!” like honestly that scene made me sob its towards the end and she just started crying and sobbing uncontrollably and it was so sad like she was working so hard to go abroad yet all these expectations and pressures were blocking into this small box. AND I FEEL SO SAD FOR SOORYEON because she’s forced to marry heetae and the guilt wasting her up so she can't even speak to myunghee, even when myunghee bought the pro-democratic document to her on her engagement cermoney and myunghee even cellotaped all back up since myunghee’s dad ripped it up, and after myunghee left, sooryeon started crying because of the guilt. AND HEETAE AWHWH THE POOR BOY the flowers he bought for myunghee on the day they were supposed to get together instead of myunghee telling heetae to get engaged to sooryeon, THOSE SAME FLOWERS WERE WILTING ON HIS DESK UGHGHG but after the ceremony myunghee just couldn’t handle it and once heetae asked if she was okay, she broke down and said no which made him hold her hand and run out of the ceremony together (basically they together idc) LIKE AWWW THE SCENE WAS SO CUTESY UGH
