so obvious

i knew they was half-brother when they show kyung joon picture of those 2 baby angels and yoon jae's book. so things are getting more excited now. FINALLY!!!

oh and those racial comments on viki website if you go watch the episode there about the scene where kyung joon's mom got shot and it was a black person... disrespectful, ill-mannered, rude, insolent, impudent people. you should be ashamed

Touching

Man, I cried a lot. This was the most touching episode. So many relatable scenes... The letter the teacher read in front of the class, his graduation, the school fight. They were very emotional. They managed to capture everyone's feelings in such a realistic way. The music really emphasised many moments in this episode. Especially the fight and the scene with the teacher alone in the classroom - that one gave me goosebumps for real. The music was exquisitely beautiful.

On a lighter note though, his positive thinking was HILARIOUS! XD

I like the way Makio matured. He now has different priorities and sees things in a different light. He actually cares about his friends and has learned to appreciate others.

I'm really glad he went back to school. The ending was perfect. It was realistic but still happy. And gosh, do clothes change a person! :O Umemura really looked like an older person dressed like that!

Like!

Love is in the air ^^, I just hope he keeps it legal, Umemura is only 17 after all :D.

The actress that plays the teacher is freaking gorgeous, I have a feeling Makki will fall for her-hard, once she completes her transformation into female goddess! Mikio rolled in like a BOSS, there is no real main protagonist yet, it'll be interesting to see if/when Mikio comes into that role.

Okay...

...So I actually kind of feel sorry for Kim Do Hyun after this episode. Hopefully he'll straighten up and the story will take a turn for the better. It's always nice to have a sympathetic protagonist. ^_^

WHAT!

How can Kwon Hae Hyo be a bad guy? That is not his consistent character portrayal. I don't know what to think about this twist of events. How do I deal w/ the fight for justice assumed character now being shown as part of the evil faction? Will he redeem himself b/c he didn't look like he particularly liked what he was doing? I love the fact that this drama has my emotions all over the place. It makes it interesting. Can't wit for next wks epi's.

things are getting interesting

Oh my god I love this. I love how the story of this drama is not just about who is going to end up with the girl. Also I never thought the drama to be this funny. I love how Choong-shik is always following Mari.

park tae kang is the best

I love Park Tae Kang he is like the best person in the drama, no matter how much people are mean to him, he stile is smiling and not giving up and i love that about him. but the doctor oh how I dont like him. Hwang Ji An I would have thought that at this point of the drama she would be little bit nicer, she is in some way I guess but I dont know I would have expect more. I'm glade that she like's Tae Kang and that it seem like they're going to end up together. I really hope to she turning nice and more loving. And a thing that I dont like is that I feel like she's being treated like a dog by the doctor, like when ever he call's she goes. I guess it's cause he is her doctor but stile I dont like it. Oh well the episode was not bad overall

No Title

YES, I'm so glad Himuro joined Inuzuka and Kuramochi on the climb and even more glad that they made up.

But the ending just now was so sad.. I knew the dogs would find the others and now I hope they'll be back in time to save the three of them.

No Title..

Oh no .. Bekku. :(

And judging the way his name and age were displayed I guess there will be more deaths. Dogs or humans..

Also I felt sooo bad for Inuzuka when he was at fault for destroying the cabooze. I'm glad they forgave him.. :/

The intro reminds me a lot of the one for Code Blue, it's short but great. :)

Bingo ;)

This episode had so many great scenes! Starting with the reminiscence of how Shunji and Kangto became friends, then the wonderful "meeting" in the forest when MokDan came to look for Bridal mask (and Kangto's hiding behind a tree :) ), the adorable "Bingo wink" and, finally, the interrogation of Kimura Taro. This last scene was great, with Kangto's (at first glance) naive question "Why do you hate me so much?"

You can see the change in Kangto's behaviour, he's not that short-tempered Kangto anymore, he has a different purpose now, and it is...vengeance.

Heartbreaking episode ;_; Awesome acting!

I actually wanted to rate episode 9, but MyDramaListers highest marks for this episode made me want to review it and give my opinion!

This episode really deserves a 10/10! When I think about Kangto's mother's prayer, it was this episode that made an adult out of an angry "little Kangto"!! Joo Won's acting will make you cry with him, you could literally see pain on his face, and if you ever cried bitterly over something you could see how genuine his acting was!

Like expected

The humour is pretty much gone in this episode. It was expected though, since it's approaching the end, they need to get serious and handle the boss matter. They're getting more and more intense. This episode also has some very touching scenes. His speech really made me cry. (Well, except for the beginning of course XD ...). He truly acquired a new perspective on life; it's incredibly touching to hear him speak about his friends and having that inner fight with his own feelings about the future.

I'm STILL not sure how I feel about his brother. He's not the bad guy for sure, but he's obviously not being entirely honest to Makio either. I just don't understand his mind. I feel that he cares for his brother and wants him to be happy, but doesn't have the slightest intention of giving up on the boss position either. I expected his shell to crack near the end of the drama and reveal his true self, but he's still so composed all the time, wearing that fake smile. It seems they won't lead the association together after all. I still think this would be an ideal ending.

There goes a snowball (ep 7,8,9) accelerating down snowy hill (ep 10)...

Random title much? No! Bridal Mask has picked up its momentum once again.

I admit that the last 2 or 3 episodes had a slower vibe to them. Don't get me wrong, it is understandable how they using those episodes to build-up the later conflicts of the drama. However, many dramas have used this tactic before and bored the audience instead. Luckily, Bridal Mask knows just when to hit it's audience by surprise (in a good way I mean).

The pieces are slowly starting to come together, and it's just such a pleasure to be a part of this awesome (vengeance) experience.

Kang To only wanted to wear the Bridal Mask to avenge his family, but now he questions his judgement after hearing the pleading of his beloved Boon Yi. Arrg... decisions after decisions.

We also see how how Shunji is reprising his brother's role, just like how Kang To is reprising Kang San's role. The tension b/w the two friends is killing me!

Moreover, I extremely love the emphasis of how a good person can turn evil in a blink of an eye, whereas, it takes much will power to turn an evil person to a good person. For example, Shunji almost immediately becomes menacing as soon as his brother died, whereas Kang To is slowly finding his light at the end of the tunnel after missing individuality. And sadly, that's how the world rolls. It is easier to turn a hero into a villain because that will bring devastation to those that are looking up to the hero. On the other hand, it takes much for a villain to convert to the other side because he has seen too much cruelty already.

This drama does a magnificent job of showing how everyone has darkness within them. In the world of survival and need to protect our loved ones, it doesn't matter who's the nicer man because we all have a dark side. What matters is, how much will power do we have to escape/suppress from our inner monsters?

Does this remind you of something? Think of The Dark Knight. Harvey Dent (Shunji) vs Batman (Kang To). Need I say more?
