no way... the last ep will be them parting?!? does this mean there is gonna be a special ep or another season?!? either way i can't get enough of this pair - they so good for & to each other. love how Natsume stood-up to Toma's father, who was being a bit of an overbearing ass. he wasn't just putting his son down, he was also belittling Natsume. so am glad Natsume put him in his place. *********************************************************************************************************************************& i like Tenma, he is such a weirdo & i really like him. wish there was more of him in the series. but this not a romcom so i guess it is what it is. but he is adorable & i wish he had a warmer relationship with Toma.

I did not have high hopes going into this, as i have not seen great acting from Becky Armstrong before. Unfortunately this time is no different. And the concept seems to have changed in a direction that cheapens the plot.

even in the previous ep, was wondering why Sasom (who is a grown ass adult) is still beneath his parents thumb - why does he have to listen to them to the degree that he does?!? he's not a child any more, he's making his own money & respecting ur parents is one thing, but letting them dictate ur life as an adult, is something that's hard for me to comprehend. *****************especially when they not the warm, loving, caring kind - as we saw in this ep. they treated him like he is a orphan they did a huge favor by taking in or a lowly worker in their company. & sorry, but i don't trust that brother of his. he seems suspect to me & i have a feeling he is worse then the parents, they might be mean & overbearing but at least they don't act otherwise. ********Ngoen acts like a loving, caring brother that is so worried about his younger sibling, but i have a feeling he is the one keeping tabs on Sasom & is manipulating him behind the scenes. the fact that Sasom's personal assistant seemed to be working with Ngoen, makes me think that Sasom is truly all alone in this world & it breaks my heart, cause this means that he will never cut lose of his family & Po is a bit of a joke, he wouldn't be able to stand-up for himself, so how he gonna help his man?!?*****************************************************************************************************************************************************& mentioning Po i have to say the coy act is getting old fast. like i get, he thinks his behavior is sexy & cute - but ugh, i wanna barf at the constant act, he puts on. & when he act shy, i'm like "u freakin gave him head & ur acting skittish & shy cause he kisses ur cheek or hugs u - u serious?!!!" talk about cringe. even the way he speaks grosses me out & i can't watch. so i really need for him to stop & start acting normal (even though sorry but i don't think the actor playing him is capable at this stage of his career). ****************************************************************************************************************************& if i hadn't had enough of one sh*t show we got the 2nd couple or whatever it is that is Meen & the dude with the glasses - didn't watch cause i aint interested & that's the gods honest truth. have enough with Po on my plate what i don't need is more cringe acting

This episode was incredibly sad, filled with farewells—some by free will, others forced—but all of them were painful to watch. It is especially heartbreaking that the separation between Chang Yu and Zheng was so full of hurt and resentment. If only they would speak from the heart and explain the bitterness weighing on their minds... but instead, they chose to hide behind sharp words and cold phrases. However, I was thrilled to finally see a kiss, even if it was somewhat forced and bittersweet. When Chang Yu learned that Yan Zheng had been called to the front lines in Lucheng, she didn’t hesitate for a single second. She was ready to drop everything and run after her husband. It just goes to show that you can’t fool the heart; when you truly care for someone, your first instinct is to rush to their side, no matter what.Even the Marquis, as ruthless and cold as he can be, kept his most precious memory of Chang Yu: the blue ribbon. When he marched into his fortress on horseback, clad in his Marquis armor, that ribbon was tied in his hair. It was such a powerful, silent signal of his true feelings. And he left a token for her too, as a birthday gift—wristbands designed specifically for her.I’m really hoping for their reunion soon.

Sorry I laughed so hard at this scene. Maybe it was the first start for the take-money-and-leave-my-son classic trope in modern K-Dramas later on. 🤣🤣🤣Bravo to Oshin in this scene! 🙌 Her reaction was perfect, and the old guy was in shock but he totally deserved it.That son from the wealthy family was a jerk anyway. I smell a strong ‘pampered son’ and ‘mama boy’ vibe from him. I have a feeling that Oshin’s life would be miserable if she married this guy. And he never brought up anything with her or asked her first, and suddenly just announced his controlling and manipulative mother that she would be his bride. I was like ‘wtf man’. Poor Oshin had absolutely no idea about this while being wrongfully accused of seducing her son into marriage by a stranger woman. 🤦♀️🫠Ep 73

The break up scene really got to me. ZLH and TXW were excellent in it. The chemistry too. So good. Now CFY is truly going to go thru so many hardships while facing the world alone. Until fate brings her back to her husband of course.

It really set the motion for the rest of the story and finally brings the war to Xigu Alley. I felt all the emotions while watching this ep. The fight scenes are so well choreographed. The emotion of those scenes perfectly placed and the acting? set everything so much at even a higher bar.

guess these two gonna live off sex, cause they never get to eat lol... & given the fact that they met cause Sasom wanted a new (paid) partner for his Peace Lover site, i don't get how these two have become more like a couple then a hook-up & neither care about this fact. & it's not that i don't get why both have forgotten the main reason they met in the 1st place. Po is refreshing with his virginity to Sasom, being his 1st in every aspect, given the jaded life Sasom has lead am sure finding Po who was "untouched" & clean in all the aspects that count, the plus was having total dominance over him. the fact he is ready to keep Sasom's secret is another major plus & for Po u don't even have to point out why he has fallen for Sasom at the speed of light. but have a feeling he gonna get his heartbroken at the same speed. **********************************************************but Sasom knows his parents & his life best, easy to forget when he is around Po or in his home - that has turned into a paradisiacal bubble where the outside world doesn't exist or matter, so the rude awakening is predictable, given how controlling his parents r - i doubt they don't know of his "side hobby" but as long as he keeps it a secret & doesn't get involved with his on-screen partners, they will keep quite. oh well - *************************************************************************side note: didn't like Meen, he is freakin annoying & i guess he & the guy that came for coffee r the 2nd couple. have to say not interested in them -

Instantly captivating. Fascinating premise on the gender reversal of understanding intimacy subverting the societal norms. Sizzling chemistry with the leads too. One of the strongest short form pilots in recent times.

am sure i read a Korean web-novel that was along these line, or at least this was the premise. but interesting all the same - even though all the intimacy scenes were a bit much for me, felt like a freakin voyeur & had to fast-forward most of the "scenes" so much so, i didn't notice if Po removed Sasom's mask or it slipped off - what with all the 'making out' & had to go rewatch that scene to make sure... lol - given the sex is the main theme of this BL i guess ima be with the finger on the forward button quite a lot. just hope there is more to this BL then the sex scenes. otherwise i aint gonna last long cause i need more then two attractive people making out or simulating sex.

Episode 17 opens with what might be my favorite kind of battlefield in this drama so far: the love battlefield between Chang Yu and Xie Zheng. Their banter feels surprisingly real for two people who clearly care about each other but are still dancing around actually saying it out loud. The whole conversation starts spiraling when Chang Yu casually mentions that she has already prepared things for when he leaves, including a divorce letter. The way Xie Zheng’s face instantly darkens when she talks about having a proper closure before he goes says everything that needs to be said. That man is in deep and he hates the idea of her already planning life without him. Naturally he retaliates in the pettiest lover way possible by sulking and saying he will help find her a good match. Chang Yu fires back that she hopes he also finds a good wife, and suddenly both of them are standing there annoyed at each other like two stubborn cats with feelings they refuse to admit. Honestly it was ridiculously cute. I ended up taking way too many screenshots because their expressions alone were a whole romcom. Then the scene escalates in the best way when Xie Zheng stops Chang Yu from leaving and suddenly pulls her into a kiss. Yes, we finally witness Zhang Ling He doing what he does best. A forceful kiss. Compared to his legendary portfolio of dramatic kisses this one might be a little tame, but the atmosphere and Tian Xi Wei’s reactions absolutely carried the moment. What really got me though was Xie Zheng’s line when Chang Yu angrily calls him a jerk for leaving and kissing her whenever he wants. His response that if he were truly a jerk he would not have waited until now? Sir. That line alone revealed just how much he has been holding back all this time. My heart was doing somersaults. The visual storytelling right after that was also stunning. When Chang Yu walks away and Xie Zheng lies down in the snow, the director cleverly splits the frame with color. On one side there is the warm glow of the fire where they had been sitting together, full of soft orange light and lingering warmth. On the other side lies the cold snow where Xie Zheng collapses alone under the cool blue tones. It quietly shows how once Chang Yu leaves, the warmth leaves with her. Even his line about how she saved him in that place only to abandon him there later hits deeper because of that imagery. After that opening, the tone of the episode shifts into something much heavier. War looms over everything and men are being taken away to serve, including Uncle Zhao. Watching Madam Zhao and Uncle Zhao say goodbye was honestly painful. The sense of uncertainty hanging over the village made everything feel bleak. What gave me the most anxiety though was when the officials claimed that Yan Zheng had also been taken to war and Chang Yu simply believed it. Girl, please read the room. At this point there have been so many clues that your husband is not some random powerless man. I was internally yelling at the screen. That said, I also blame Xie Zheng a little because he really should have told her the truth before leaving. Instead he leaves her completely in the dark and now she is stuck worrying about him without knowing the full story. I already have a bad feeling about where this is heading. My prediction radar is going wild thinking that Chang Yu might eventually chase after him to confirm whether he is safe, only to discover that he is actually the Marquis Wu’an. Then comes the disappointment, the confrontation, the threat to leave, and Xie Zheng refusing to let her go. Meanwhile Chang Ning might be left behind with Madam Zhao and the sisters could end up separated. If the story goes in that direction then my heart is absolutely not ready. On the brighter side, Xie Zheng’s entrance back at the barracks as Marquis Wu’an was undeniably charismatic. The aura, the authority, the presence. Completely different from the teasing husband we saw earlier. It was a reminder that beneath all the flirting and longing, this man is a powerful commander walking straight into war. What surprised me most about this episode is how quickly it flew by despite so many things happening. Between the emotional goodbye, the looming war, the secret identities, and the complicated relationships that seem ready to explode, it feels like the story has officially entered its stormy phase. Possessive Marquis Wu’an era might be approaching, love triangles might be forming, battlefields are calling, and the Fan sisters might soon be forced onto different paths. Watching this drama while it is still ongoing suddenly feels like a dangerous sport. How am I supposed to survive waiting for the next episode like this.

WanZhi has had a lesson from the school of hard knocks. She is seeing the consequences of both not finishing her schooling and lying on her resume. The young man at the job fair is trying to help her but you can only lead a horse to water, not force it to drink. WanZhi lucks into a job at a local cafeteria. For her, it is hard labor and I give her much credit for trying to pull her own weight. Even the manager notes her grit. There is one spoiled older girl who uses her looks to get her way. She does not take it well having a new roommate. The other girl is much kinder and mentors WanZhi along with tips on how to protect her hands. She is the true workhorse of the three girls. The son initially resented her hiring, but he likes that she’s pretty and smart. He has developed a crush on her and WanZhi is trying to keep distant. Here is where I find WanZhi unfilial. It is commendable that she wants to earn her own way, but she wants to use her biological family’s poverty as her backstory when it’s quite obvious she came from more privileged circumstances. Her adopted mom didn’t want her putting on airs, but now she is going the opposite direction and claiming a father and mountain life she knows little about for her circumstances. I am annoyed with her for not thinking she should contact her adoptive dad just to let him know she’s ok. She has also not checked on XingKe who foolishly put himself on the line with the law to protect her. She is so determined to get her own way yet again that she is shunning the people who care about her and not really considering how her disappearance has effected them. She and her adoptive dad both have this righteous stubbornness where they stick to their perceived stance on principles and cause unnecessary division and misunderstanding. So while WanZhi is making slow steady progress, I find myself far more annoyed than happy with her change in circumstances.

This is the 1st time moderate skill battalion scene of the serie. Power mongers, wicked warlord , civil officials, commoner turned mob, disguised ignition ,Yes this episode captured all the chaos around. And all fighting scenes are well executed. The highlights of the ep should be Chang Yu 2 pig slap and XZ half masked face card.
