What if...?

It looks like the King starts to look at his Queen romantically, but I am not sure if the hook is Bong-Hwan's personality and current choices, or learning that So-Yong wanted to commit suicide. I've seen dramas where a man who is swapped into a female body ends up enjoying life so much that he decides to stay. What if that is the case in this story too? 🤔I wonder if the engraving on that stone would still be seen in modern times? And if so, could the Queen in Bong-Hwan's body read it and realize where the real soul of that body is. Maybe she thinks that she's just reincarnated? Because if she's in modern times, for her to adapt to the situation could be much harder than it is for Bong-Hwan, no? 🤔

We kind of really didn’t do anything this…

We kind of really didn’t do anything this episode and kind of did like one thing and then we like cock blocked me for like 15 minutes and then we realized that the guy had had a crush on this entire time which is really cute and romantic kind of love them and I can’t wait for next Thursday. Hopefully we get some fucking in and not playing in my fucking face. OK bye!

Five Stars

I really thought those two would try to do worse but turns out it's not as easy since the guest got sick half way through. But I did enjoy and also felt bad the guest got a fever on the day of the shooting. I like how Seo-Jin said that he has a slave-mindset ever since episode 12😭😭. Also season 2? I might watch it.

Veteran Singer

This episode may be a bit slow since there isn't much that the secretaries did but this is the perfect sit down episode after a long and tiring day to watch. It feels quite peaceful though I never seen Seo-Jin to fanboy this hard infront of My Star Guest, Nam-Jin. I really love older guests stes in variety show, they always give a homey, cozy as well as jukebox tunes that's interesting. I've learned a lot from this episode such as movies 'Ode to my Father', as well as songs and the different type of rhythm like trot, enka, and Chanzo. I always love it when I learn something new and I might like it because of old folks like him. Also the Na Hoon-A and Nam Jin beef was so serious that Nam-Jin was considered a suspect 😅. Also at the end of the episode, Seo-Jin had a moment of reflection where they did their jobs too well as secretaries and should make their My Stars guest realize how important their managers are. 😭Anyways, I didn't expect the episodes to be bombz, good and consistent after the fortune telling episode and that one My Star Guest who disciplined Seo-Jin.

Awesome finale!

This episode was awesome and the best one of the series. I don't want to say too much but it was both sad and heartwarming. It definitely answered all my questions.

Interesting Plot

From the reaction of the people around, it seems like no one else sees Win, so I'm pretty sure he's not really there. I'm waiting for Alan to look at the photo the girl took of him and Win. But wait! Nate saw Win, so maybe Nate isn't real either. Or maybe Nate is a staff member of the hospital and was playing along with Alan's hallucination. That would explain why the hospital staff captured him at the hotel.

this show is not as optimistric as i thought it’d be.

hua qian is a lot colder than i would expect her to be. i only just found out this was an hbo production when i actually started this show & it is incredibly jarring for somepony who’s only ever seen the extremely polished main+land productions. it feels a lot more raw in every aspect from appearance to filming techniques. which isn’t a bad thing but it feels so stark. i don’t necessarily think they’re ashamed of the genre conventions but i do imagine western sensibilities played a fiddle 。・:*:・゚★,。・:*:・゚☆ 。・:*:・゚★,。・:*:・゚☆ back to the actual show. i am really mixed with how i feel right now. I’m interested but one of the things that makes the show so raw is that right now things move. slow.ly. the first episode kind’fve felt like a role+play game where hua qian had to do some necessary interactions. this is kind’ve fitting with the fact that she literally restarted her life like a game 。・:*:・゚★,。・:*:・゚☆ 。・:*:・゚★,。・:*:・゚☆ i think it’s a really human thing not to know what to do when you know what you did was wrong. her not being such a holy person is really fascinating. i am interested but i sobn’ t know if I’m really that invested yet.

The 12-Year Investigation

Yuan Hang and Xiao He begin to reinvestigate the case in 2015, in parallel to Ran in 2002. By following Ran's book, Xiao He's investigation follows the same pattern that Ran's did in 2002. The revelations from the investigations show that there was much more to the June 30th case than met the eye. More pieces of the truth are surfacing, and it will be interesting to see where they take us. There were some bittersweet moments with memories of Ran. Pan Yue Ming's performance is amazing and really breaks my heart at times.

Good start but the ending?

Loved this episode overall, and it was cool being introduced to quite a few different characters while also getting a sense of their personalities. But the ending through me off. Like I guess it falls within what I just mentioned, but we just cut right to that. Feels weird because I'm sure there's a lot of other reasons why he is who he is, but it seems like we're just supposed to be like oh ok, something tragic? Must be the problem lol. Also, Hyo-min's bf gotta go because what was that lolol

Heartwarming

I loved this episode. When Mechoori was putting the bumpers on corners, it remined me of First Frost, where Sang Yan did the same. Mechoori is such a good person, and he loves Ye-jin. They have amazing chemistry. The second male lead is really annoying me. Nothing against Kim Bum, but the character he plays is a loser, the second male lead does not need to be pathetic to boost the image of the main lead.

Five Stars

Shoutout to P’Wa and the team. The cinematography, cgi, and the bg sounds are all good. And SkyNani acting is so good here. I also really appreciate Sea’s acting. Such a good start of the series.

Five Stars

So far, this show has been pretty good. On one hand, it is filled with many characters who are very unlikable for various reasons. Arguably, the only fully likable characters are the ML & FL, Zheng Chu and Su Mang and potential SFL, Yan Xiaoqiu. Everybody else is annoying for one reason or another. Even the SML (Tang Ming) is annoying because while he is a nice guy, he is also kind of pathetic with the way he lets himself get manipulated. But despite that, the show is fun to watch, moves the plot along briskly and whenever they use tropes, they make fun of doing so, either by calling them out in the script, diminishing their effect, tripping or even flipping the trope. The biggest such is of course the inversion of the classic C-Drama trope of the "cold-cruel-CEO boss" sternly but fair guiding the underling who they are destined to be with. Su Mang is excellent at being the female version of such a CEO trope. She keeps giving Chu more responsibility and he is growing professionally due to her guidance. And he literally acknowledges to Tang Ming that she is his "master" who is brainwashing his thinking. This whole dynamic is usually gender-flipped the other way around in so many c-dramas (and k-dramas).

An amazing episode and more guesses

This episode was amazing! There was so much funny and serious, and even some blood...And I called it—Kim Hwan got discovered by his target, Hong Yeon! He really wasn't doing his job well, lol 😂. And now there's a love triangle... 🤭Actually, I am wondering why the King tells everything so freely to Hwajin. That trust actually makes me feel suspicious of her, but I don't even know of what, really. She doesn't even look or act suspicious, and it seems like she and the King really are very deeply in love. 🤷‍♀️Maybe Bong-Hwan transmigrated into the Queen's body to learn how to value other people, and the Queen maybe has her own experiences meanwhile in Bong-Hwan's body to learn how to value and love herself—to find her own identity, which she clearly had lost, remembering her talk with her cousin right before their kiss? 🤔
