The current family dynamics are frustrating me some. Xiao Cen’s mother is acting like she is the head of the house rather than a guest. Her nephew needs guidance and discipline, but she is demanding and relentless in how she goes about it. She plays the same harsh tune nonstop and it’s annoying. It was an interesting change of pace for her banning of studio to be accepted by Xiao Cen without complaint. It took the wind out of her lecturing sails. 😝I really wish the younger sister would be more assertive with her sister and set boundaries. The biggest one being to be her sister not parent.😝 Xiao Cen is misreading things at the studio, but she is not wrong that she is left idle too long when there. Xu Xiao doesn’t help when he says how rude she is for not being there after promising. He is right in one sense because this is out of character for her, but he never bothered to ask why. I really appreciated the artist’s chat with her and clearing up XiaoCen’s misunderstandings. That was nicely done and like a big sis chat. The exhibit was set up well, but there was very little marketing to publicize it and the studio manager put all her eggs in one basket. When the local artist did not want to invest, that was a big slam. It was interesting that this was the time Xiao Cen spoke up. She talked about the piece she liked and that their efforts were worthwhile. Her encouragement roused the disheartened spirit of the group for them to look forward with optimism. I like the friendship of YueXin and Xiao Cen. They are not besties yet but getting closer. Yue Xin encourages her about Xu Xiao and reminds her that girls don’t have to wait for boys to make the first move. Sharing earbuds on the bus is a very small step but a sweet one. They are at least being more comfortable with each other again.

The wife and brother of the poor man that died are joining forces to make a funeral outside the courthouse demanding their brother be returned. Their hypocrisy is grating. They just see that 5 million lawsuit from the court rather than the pittance from the deceased’s estate. Shen was rushed out and hidden when he went to pick up his assistant at the courthouse. To avoid a further scene he went to visit an old friend in criminal law who is filing for divorce. This resulted in a boys night out and a drunk Shen threw up all over Jin’s outfit she was going to wear to court. She was supposed to see a wealthy woman about a copyright law case but ended up losing the client because she lies first rather than just admitting her real circumstances. This habit of her bugs the hell outa me because it doesn’t serve her well and she won’t quit doing it. She is as determined to lie as Mr Zhou is to make a deal. The pretentious brother told Qin about her rental tag and offered her a case but she was too busy trying to flag down the woman that left. She is not wanting to withdraw the case for her other client and is heading to her house to help her clean. I think lawyer Qin is a good person, but her penchant for lying I find off putting. I was also annoyed with Shen not accepting a drink from a lawyer. She was most likely offering tea and after she helped him out, it was rudely handled. But as a judge he does have a public image to protect which is why he should not have drunk so much with his friend. I am wondering if the youngest son is the one that has something wrong with him he is hiding and that is why the father wants him to take donor test. Maybe it’s the son that needs the kidney rather than the father. I am not sure what other reason a healthy dad would want to know if his son’s kidney was compatible. The judge is right that there is something odd going on with this family. Qin’s roomie is interesting. She is both sweet and scary. This episode had a lot more questions and unresolved issues. I am hoping Shen gets cleared without that outrageous settlement to that undeserving family,

The only redeeming part of this episode was Peach and Fay, as I am only watching for them. Continuing🚩🚩🚩on Rafah's behavior. Love bombing and only 1-sided conversations, no communication.

I knew one of them would be upset since the guests were males. Honestly in this episode were they both trying at all? If anything, I really felt that they were being inconvenient to the guest stars. Not really enjoyable to watch. Watching Pd Na scold them was quite refreshing.

I thought this episode would be a miss but it’s not. Also it’s the actor from My Dearest. She’s really cheerful. I realize one thing, for the episode to succeed and to be to my liking, the guest has to be younger than the 2 secretaries, has experience in being a variety show, gives good reaction and knows how to start when things get quiet or the secretaries has nothing in mind. Anyways, this episode is one of a gem. My favourite part was when Jang Ki-Young vibes really well with Ahn Eun-Jin, they’re very friendly with one another and they sometimes act like mischievous like looking at each other before slowly turning to seo-jin and kwang-kyu. They wanted to do a group run. Another favourite moment was when eun-jin asks for feedback on her acting and seo-jin gave her actual advice. That must be a learning moment for her to get acting advice from a veteran like seo-jin. Another favourite part of mine is obviously the filming of cameo scene. I couldn’t stop laughing at it.

This show have the potential to be great. I thought Kim Kwang-Kyu is a comedian but turns out he’s an actor. The first episode is already great, I laughed out loud quite several times. Maybe it’s the guest Lee Suji, but her reactions just made it so much better. There were times that I realized, wow, both managers are really bad at reacting that somehow I felt sorry for her to the point that at the interview it’s best to think you have no manager for the day.

Why did he force her to get so drunk? Why did he kiss her but then accuse her of pursuing him? What was the meaning of his accusation of her being a traitor? Is all this some problem with the translation? Or is the intention of the script writers that Feng Teng is just that confusing of a character? Because I sure as heck can't figure him out and I don't blame the FL for being totally confused. I can't blame her for wanting to back away from someone who is so confusing to her.

You Are My Fateful Love Episode 1

First ImpressionSuch a strong and intriguing opening—already messy, emotional, and full of drama.Episode ThoughtsWe start with RY, a successful writer stuck in a year-long creative slump. Hoping to find inspiration, she returns home and revisits her old school diaries, where she rediscovers memories of her secret crush. This sparks a new story—but believing it ended sadly, she rewrites it with a happier twist, imagining that he liked her back.Things quickly spiral when she’s accused of plagiarism. Her story is almost identical to another one posted online, and no one can understand why. The truth? That “other story” is actually her crush’s real feelings—recorded on an old phone and unknowingly published online by his younger sister. The situation snowballs fast. The sister tries to fix things by claiming she bought the outline, but it only makes things worse—especially with another author at RY’s agency using the scandal to try and push her out of the industry. Amid online hate and pressure, RY decides to fight back legally. And then comes the twist… her mum sets her up on a blind date with a lawyer—who just so happens to work at her crush’s firm. When she goes to the law firm, she unexpectedly runs into HXS himself. The tension, the timing, the shock—everything hits perfectly.Character Notes • RY (FL): Determined and emotionally driven. I like that she keeps a cool head despite everything blowing up around her. • HXS (ML): Already giving that calm, capable lawyer energy. The fact he has no idea about the situation makes this even more interesting. • Younger Sister: Her mistake really sets everything in motion—messy but kind of understandable. • Agency Rival: Already shady… clearly going to be a problem.Final ThoughtsThis is such a solid start for a modern romance—mixing nostalgia, misunderstandings, and a legal twist. The setup is chaotic in the best way, and I’m already invested in how everything will unfold.Favourite MomentRY walking into the law firm and unexpectedly coming face-to-face with HXS—THE tension.Trope Check • Childhood crush • Misunderstanding / false accusation • Hidden feelings revealed • Coincidental reunion • Lawyer x writer • Public scandal • Workplace rivalry

I am still not a fan of Mr Zhou, but I adore his mother. He is not meanspirited but he likes to hedge his bets with deals rather than sincerity. This puts everybody that works with him in a bad light. Their petty arguments led to him being carted around on his wife’s car hood. They are most concerned about scaring each other into compliance than what works for their family. His mom has a facial injury due to an accident and her scars scared the boy. That started all this showboating. When Shen threatens to call the police and has Qin play along, the Gma overhears and comes in to plead for her daughter in law. I was crying with her and for her as she made her case to include never seeing her grandson again if they would not take the mom to jail. The actress playing the wife did a phenomenal job of changing her persona from the wealthy non caring ex to the bawling daughter embracing her mom in law for the first time in a long while. The scene was very moving. I also loved the scene with them eating the sesame snacks on the stairs with the dad looking on from a distance. This is who they really are when they stop being idiots to manipulate each other. The poor old man with the three vultures was dragged into court when it’s obvious he should have been in hospital. His family is a trio of argumentative self serving vampires sucking the very life out of him while grasping for his cash and estate. They are disgustingly reprehensible and should have been charged with public disturbance and elderly abuse. 🤬 I really think he did disconnect the tube to assist his breathing and chose to peacefully die while they argued out in the hall. Judge Shen is now being sued by this motley crew because they see a cash cow through the court. His mentor stuck up for him and did a damn good job, but now she is being chastised for it told this will put Shen in a worse light. I am not convinced of that. They were all set to settle and throw him under the bus. At the end of episode his dad is told about it thinks he should be held accountable. He tells his wife their son is busy. I don’t like the dad. It’s not that he’s really in the wrong, he just has to be a know it all ass when he admonishes his son. The mom should meet Shen out of the house instead of trying to get him to come home. She would get better results and actually be able to have a conversation. I don’t think it’s too late for the men in her life to make peace, but she is going to have to accept it will have to be on their terms rather than her machinations to force them together. The pretentious brother that sucked all the benevolence from his family he could and now says sorry I’m out when the family needs his help is a piece of work. He should have at least had the grace to look sheepish rather than entitled. Shen has been benched for now waiting for the outcome of the investigation. When all of them watched and heard from the sidelines. It is incredible they think they have the right to cast stones. This episode was touching and annoying. They definitely show the best and worst of family dynamics. The jobs dealing with them in their worst moments are definitely not for the faint of heart.
