Fun

It’s just the first ep and the show is pretty lighthearted and funny so far but that can change. I’m excited to see the next few eps to really gauge the series, so far I’m in looking forward to tues!

The trapped "tree"

Did I get it right? Xiao Duo's brother was his twin? And he is now in the palace to replace him and avenge him? 🤔 That incense probably just made him completely lustful for Yinlou, and he had to get rid of her presence there as soon as possible! 🤭The scene with the tree was beautiful and, in my opinion, very metaphorical. The two trees were clearly meant to represent Xiao Duo and his brother—his brother being the dead stump and he himself the living one. 🥹 Everything they said and did there just linked back to the thought of Yinlou being the one to "revive" the stagnant, trapped "tree". 🤗

The SML stalker

The two leads can't break up without the writer bringing in the SML. He shows up 30 seconds after the leads walked away from each other. My god such poor writing.

Everyone is fighting their own worthlessnesss!!!

Phenomenal work by the entire team,Each character is a mass of emotions that are connected by their own experiences. From the first episode to the last, it felt as the emotions were raw and intense like they were real. It's like we saw every single hardship that Dong Man has been through, we also seen his growth from the start of meeting Eun Ah.Each character felt warm and soft, there's more to a person than just looking from the outside, especially with Jin Man, Hye Jin, Gyeong Se, and Mi Ran. Thank you PARK HAE YOUNG, thank you so much for making me feel seen and understood, I cried to every single episode'sTHE BEST KDRAMA OF THE YEAR.I love the idea of two souls finding each other rather than pushing and gravitating towards romance, it was like they were bound to connect through their pain and help each other through the process of healing together.THE YEARNING TO BELONGGThe cinematography is amazing, each season's describes the characters emotions. Each episodes never felt random or misplaced, as you watched you wanted to see and know more about each character in the story. All the actors embodied their own roles, they picked the BEST actors.KOOK KYO HWAN NEEDS AN AWARD FOR THIS ONE.The ending was not rushed or felt incomplete even tho i thought it would feel rushed altogether, the ending was perfect, everything was wrapped up perfectly, solid story with solid performances. The only problem I have is I wish it could've been a 16-20 episodes, because I genuinely did not want it to end, I was not ready to let go of this masterpiece.I started to bawl when the camera flips to Jin-Man, his backstory was so heavy and dark, I wanted to see him and his daughter reunite and maybe hope for Mi-Ran. What a beautiful way to end his story with Jin Man starting to write again because of his daughter....Dongman's love for his brother, the sound of his snore brings peace and happiness to his ears knowing the reason why...I absolutely love the way they amplify forgiveness between gyeong-se and dongman , the ending fits perfectly. The way dongman worship eunah, openly speaks about her is like songs to my ears. “It feels like everything you say is what I would say, and you always seem to understand exactly what I mean. Were we meant to be one person, but got split into two and came into the world?” "I would have liked you even if you were a man, or even if you were a tree. And if you were the wind, I would've been nuts about you." -Hwang Dong Man“I feel like I can finally breathe when I talk to you it feels like everything you say is what I would say & you always seem to understand exactly what I mean”-Byeon Eun A"i wish i could just let the hole in the world know what kind of writer you are, if this turn out well, i'm going to go around telling people: Byeon Euna did this"-Hwang Dong Man“if you have to write stories for as long as you live, you might as well make them humorous” -Hwang Jin ManI'll always come back to this piece of art.

Enemies with Benefits EP4 Is Cute, Chemistry-Filled — But Is GMMTV Holding Back?

Enemies with Benefits EP4 delivers rooftop ramen, undeniable chemistry, and Lal proving she may be the most catastrophically down-bad fake-enemy love interest alive. But while #JanJingJing continue to carry the emotional weight, major story changes, locomotive pacing, and intimacy that still feels cut short have us wondering whether GMMTV is playing it a little too safe. Read our full review for what worked, what missed, and why this adaptation still feels like it is holding back.Jump here for the full review: https://bit.ly/4v6mMbk

Bro, all he wants to do is love you bro. Also the guy who killed. Klao is a figure head for somebody else and I think it’s the sexy soldier guy. Who was the killer in goddesses from death whoever is on camera duty for this episode needs to be fired. I don’t know if I’ll ever be OK after that. He just came out to the parents and win as well as expected. I’m about to ball my fucking eyes out. Okay bye!

2nd ep was as fun as the 1st - there some…

2nd ep was as fun as the 1st - there some really hilarious moments that made me literally laugh out loud & Tai's fast becoming my MVP with Wayu being a close 2nd. also didn't think a host club would be this fun, shady, exploitative - yes, but fun & funny - nope. yeah there the 2 "mean girls" Sky & his side kick Richy, but the rest r so much fun - heck even enjoying Foei the "madam". they r such a lively bunch, they make working there seem fun. *********************************************************************also liked that at least with Rose, Krit finally opened up & admitted to being interested in Wayu. but idk how much i like the idea of him trying to turn Wayu into an informant - especially given the feeling he has for him. not enough he will be endangering him, he might also start a relationship with him which for sure is a violation of some law or the other & as is, it seems like Krit's father has high hopes for him. this doesn't bode well - hope i am wrong, cause this might just blow-up in his face. & Wayu is too trusting & sweethearted i don't want him getting hurt.

Absolutely the best

I loved this whole series so much! I wish I could watch this show for the first time over and over again — with such a beautiful script, and so much goin on, I didn’t know how the writer would tie out all the different plot lines, but she did.the ending episode was sublime 🥰

i like where we eere able to get to.

me thinking his dad was about to get hit by a car NO it’s the girl he’s cheating with walking into frame . .. I’ll start with the father since we started here. i will let his story_line come to a wrap but i think he’s been given too much grace this episode. loathe it so much thagt next episode better wrap it up good. he does not get to walk out of this drama without humility flogging him in the head 。・:*:・゚★,。・:*:・゚☆ 。・:*:・゚★,。・:*:・゚☆ the sister. it does suck seeing her also bumble along with the rest of her family when she has the better cards but i can unerstand why. it also ties them together. & this was a great moment for her. i was batch+watching for yokoo wataru so it was either this episode or last but hearing her out & finally seeing her stand up for herself was great. i enjoy her place in the family & i also enjoy the family she is defending over at her home 。・:*:・゚★,。・:*:・゚☆ 。・:*:・゚★,。・:*:・゚☆ i really enjoy the laborers ,they are balanced extremely well & utilized effectively each ,i don’t forget about them or get sick of them & i quite enjoy their different paced lives spliced in. inou masahiro mr. mighty+face . . . i enjoy chiba. i really enjoy how she’s established herself & pushes back to ninomiya. like she’s right in almost every spat they have. she’s perfect 。・:*:・゚★,。・:*:・゚☆ 。・:*:・゚★,。・:*:・゚☆ unfortunately ninomiya was playing an incredibly insufferable character at the start. he’s gotten better vespecially in these last two episodes & that’s because he’s finally changing. even when he’s fighting eith his father it’s different now. i do think his little monologues are incredibly condescending but they’re not as bad this last episode. i do like his character journey though ,really. not a fan of how his mother’s depression is theatricized but like. the writing is in its place 。・:*:・゚★,。・:*:・゚☆ 。・:*:・゚★,。・:*:・゚☆ YOKOO WOULD BE PLAYING A TERRIBLE CHARACTER . . . TERRIBLY ALSO . . . he looked adorable thojugh heheheee

Sometimes change is for better

I am so excited for the auditions! I loved how all the Perfect Voice staff tried to act as if they didn't know Sheng. 😌🤭And of course, Sheng would still love MQC even when he isn't QQC anymore... I get her sadness, but they talked it through like adults and with understanding. I wouldn't expect it any other way. This drama is so green, green, green! 🤗

More noble idiocy

This episode starts off with the outing of the 'fan' who sent the package and in theory should clear up that issue. But it takes a silly insane turn with more social media shenanigans and some really, truly piss-poor management decisions by Club President Bao that understandably infuriate Cheng. From that point the episode degenerates into cliche' 'Noble Idiocy' drama trope as Cheng goes into silent mode doing things secretly and not talking to anyone, including Yao. His wrist is obviously hurt and then, the episode culminates with him making decisions that directly result in the loss of Game 1 of their match against YQBC. The show teases something going on with Hierophant and at this point it looks like Cheng may have lost this game on purpose. Because the writers have clearly leaned into the noble idiocy trope heavily here - to the point of excluding the audience as well as his lover and team from knowing what's going on - it makes the show just annoying to watch because until they finally reveal what's going on there is almost no point. One could easily just skip ahead until things are revealed and not miss anything but a bunch of contrived angst and drama. But not knowing the exact timepoints to skip to forces us to watch. Sigh ... lazy writing.

wanted to wait until this got completed, but…

wanted to wait until this got completed, but curiosity got the better of me. even when i watched the tailor the erotic "dance" scenes made me uncomfortable, so i just skipped a lot of the start... idk why people like it, me the 2nd hand embarrassment kills me. but thankfully after that, this was fun. *******************************************************************************************Gunner is such a stunner pity he got a bit part at the start & wont be seeing more of him (i think). Wayu is hilarious & goofy as f*ck, also he is a shameless flirt - loved how he wouldn't stop flirting with Krit, who is such a hard character to read. most of the time i didn't know what he was thinking, but it's done / acted well, cause u can see emotion's but they subtle. can't wait for more cause this was really fun. *******************************************************************************************************btw i loved Tai what a ride & die friend he is - love him & hope he has more or a role then being supportive of Wayu, which while fun wont mean much once the romance gets started. *******************************************************************************side note: Wayu's mother is gross & it's so disgusting how she is neglecting her grandchild let alone how she is using & almost selling her son just to fund her selfish self. sadly Wayu wont cut her out of his life cause that isn't something children do no matter how evil their parents r not in Asian dramas/BL's

Reality check

I already thought that sooner or later MQC would need to step back from some things. Given his relationship with Sheng, and eventually the likelihood of children, his current lifestyle would be hard to maintain. Of course, for the rest of the group, it can feel like the end of an era—a very sad moment, as farewells usually are... but in this case, it won't even be a farewell. It will just be him stepping into the background, but he'll still be there. 😌I particularly enjoyed the backstory of how it all started for the Perfect Voice. 👍🤗

Revenge and revelations

Loved our Queen full-on in revenge mode! Stunning and deadly! 👏😎I'm very happy that Cheoljong finally found out that So Yong was the one who saved him from the well. 🤗 I wonder how this will affect his already distant relationship with Hwajin. How will he confront her about these lifelong lies? And what will it trigger in her? A redemption arc, or will she go full monster mode? 🤔Hwajin is still in denial about having turned into a villain, and she just clings to the idea that the woman found in the well was her maid, simply to use it as an excuse for everything she has done ever since in the name of avenging her death... And I wonder how long it will take for Yeongpyeong to realise that his feelings for Hwajin are taking him down a questionable path? 🤔😔 Well, at least So Yong also knows who had the ledger and can tell Cheoljong at any time... 🤨And I definitely loved that Cheoljong and So Yong formed an official alliance. It looks like Bonghwan has almost accepted staying in So Yong's body forever. There is still conflict, yes, but overall, I can barely see them as separate people anymore. 😏

Was it an accident or planned?

Why do I have a feeling that little prince might not have died because of an accident? Yeah, it looked like one, but what if someone organised the whole thing? I believe it wasn't Xiao Duo, though, because he looked quite dissatisfied with the kid's death. 🤔I can't quite remember, because I watched the first few episodes a few months ago, but does Bu Yinlou talk to Xiao Duo without any male-female boundaries because she doesn't know he's not a eunuch? 🤔🤭Fu Wang has some trauma related to the darkness and was saved by Yinlou holding a lantern... That could be the reason why he's "in love" with her, and maybe also the reason why he is always making them? 🤔
