A huge improvement seen in this episode. I just hope finale stick the landing or else this show will easily fly under the radar as an underwhelming show.

Very much building the main, secondary, and third couples in this episode, i thought i would find it slow but i'm here for it! This one really made me wish i could speak Thai, as there were a few scenes that felt a bit stilted but i think it was subtitle spacing rather then the production or acting.I'm obsessed with this show, all in for Nakhun and Phatsa, but i actually like the interactions between Phatsa and Napitch as well, its a really interesting dynamic being built.A lot around being an outsider or feeling like an outsider in this episode as well which adds some depth to the characters. Just loving everything in this show, but the next episode preview has me wishing for next Tuesday. I don't think i've ever been excited for a Tuesday before, i'd almost be tempted to book it off work if it weren't for the fact the show is out 5pm my time so i'd just spend all day waiting for 5pm anyway, i can do that at work! :DPlease watch this show!

This episodes is full of emotions for me. There are some scenes where i am giggling and then i traumatise. I am not prepared for the cliffhanger. Now i can't wait for the next episode and 7 days is always too far.

A female minister lead with Wu Jin Yan in the main role seems like a dream come true, no less because the female lead in the book seems quite serious and reserved. The drama has already changed her personality into more mischievous. Only time will tell if that works here or not. While the introduction to these characters is intriguing enough, the directing and production seem quite rough and unfinished. The fight scene cuts jump strangely and a character will stand differently after every cut even though it's supposed to show the same moment, simply with the perspective changed. I hope this becomes less of an issue simply due to the story focusing on the court rather than the battlefield. The actors are clearly trying but if somebody told me each character were from another drama, I would believe them. I hope the editing gets progressively better.

So glad to see some of my old favorites. Love how the rivalry is set up between the two mls. It moved at a good pace and the acting seemed natural.

There were a couple of tiny glitches, but for the most part this was the first episode where Shi Yan behaved for the whole episode like an actual human instead of a sullen petty robot. It was refreshing to have Shi Yan and Shu Yi move in a forward direction with both their personal and professional relationship with (at least for this episode) no more stupid contrived misunderstanding tropes. Hopefully this is a turning point going forward?

One of the very rare dramas where the romance scene between secondary characters also steal your heart. Love the pairings ,the dynamic that the main ML's friend/colleague and the main FL's friend shares settles all the warm/cold thirst-trap, angsty, desire... of course our important couple Woo Su-bin and Ju I-jae steals the show but these two come pretty close too. And with the relationship between the famous actress and background actor it is very sweet too with how the female took the initiative... . This show has truly some of the most cutesy, loveable matches.

Ahh the classics poisoned wine... How can I forget you, also noticed that Xiaoyun has major su1cidal tendencies in these last tribulations, like girl ik you can just press reset button and be done with it 🥲( thats totally why I like this very much in the first place, lower stake high risk dramas me likey.) but the angst still hurt right in my kokoro, WYM they died together while trying to sacrifice their primordial spirits for one another ?!?! 😭 ITS THEIR FOURTH LIFETIME, CANT THEY GET A BREAK FOR ONCE💔😥 I CANNOT DO THIS ANYMORE, Immortal Li please fix these pots I beg you ( also please dont die )

This is kind of a meh episode our side couple got new for literally no reason I don’t even know what they’re fucking arguing about if you’re too back the other guys at control freak but he looks also a beater. Just the other guy doesn’t take it cause him like crashing out on him and then like him leaving like oh my God, we’ll low-key crash out and low-key beat it and every time homeboy in the main couple does anything I’m like OK rapist just calm down. #never forget. Okay bye

The ending was beautifully done.❤️👏🏻 We got the backstory of why Xiao Fang and her father are so close. Xiao Wei has gone to find his chosen path after making sure Xiao Fang and Bite are set up with a stable income. We are not told how he fares, but this is Xiao Fang’s story. He has reached the place she was at beginning of the story. Whether or not they marry is not nearly as important as the loving parents they both will be for their daughter. That bond is set firmly and that child will know the love of family and friends and village in a spectacular way. Two families that could not stand each other, were eventually brought together by the love of the couple who came home. They were confronted by their own biases and dealt with them to grow as individuals and as family. This drama beautifully portrays family with all its messiness and imperfections. The struggle of staying in touch thru generational gaps and misunderstandings. That backing of family empowers us to become the people we are meant to be. We had beautiful scenery and family entrepreneurship saving the decline of families and aging villages. The cast gives us the best and worst of families and draws us in to appreciate the story and hopefully better appreciation of our own family and loved ones. This is highly recommended and may all of us feel Xiao Fang’s free spirit and appreciation for life in general. ❤️

But it's still really strange how the characters behave at times. Did nobody actually review the script carefully before they accepted it?

I loved the ending and the entire drama from the first episode to the last. the entire cast delivered great performances. The emotional scenes made me cry because the acting felt so real and believable. And to those saying the ml lost his martial arts because of his memory loss, that just shows they didn't actually watch the series carefully. He lost his martial arts as a result of the brain surgery, not because he lost his memories.
