Kind of a meh ending

I lowkey wanted more out of that ending. I don’t know if its necessarily more clarity or what, but just more with these villains we have spent so long with instead of an ai of them getting arrested. Just irritating. I lowkey was not expecting homeboy to be their son, but as soon he suggested to take the stairs, I had inkling that he was the villain. Very interesting premise for a story i cant lie. I am pretty sure this is based on a korean novel or manga manhwa whatever because I know they get crazy, but this was a nice watch, I just wish we did more with the actors, one chemistry and two acting. I thought they both did a pretty good job and made me hate Korean bl a little bit less lmao. The ending was still ass though. Anyway. Its review time. 8/10 okay bye!

Lets all act surprised

I am lowkey disappointed in myself for not finishing this on my first plane ride but its okay, I have a 12 hour one up next, gonna rock my shit. Okay so we already knew that, because I swear he told him, but I might be tripping. We lowkey cant let the evil pull us apart because thats what she wants to happen, we gotta lock in rn. Also I don’t know why we are making this a big deal. He made it very clear that he hated you and wanted you gone, and you didn’t suspect why? Like he made it clear that he hated you because you are a murderers son, you ever wonder why? We lack common sense family and it shows, i am impressed we have both made it this far in the world with this little common sense. I do wish that he was the evil ladies son that would have been a fire fucking twist oh my god. Anyway, whatever. I gotta book it through the airport in 20 minutes so thats fun, wish me luck. 8.5/10 okay bye!

They ain’t even toxic like that. It just feels like a revenge love kind of dupe Story. And on our favorite game called fun facts with Chloe. I didn’t finish revenge love because it was low-key just boring. Low-key nothing happened and I don’t wanna drop this because it’s like it’s watchable so I’m gonna keep going, but it’s just kind of like oh this happened this happened. We killed the Dad off. We killed the other guy‘s dad off the only people I could think of to come now to hinder them are the fiancé and somebody else but they’re low-key like not toxic at all once again I’m gonna say not yet but like the one toxic thing they did was like the right thing which is low-key unforgivable but like he forgave him so like I guess we gotta move on to bigger and better things. Let’s all act surprised

I think I finally know where all this toxicity is coming from. It is his obsession with homeboy. The guy who used to wear the glasses. He is so obsessed with him. It’s like not even love at this point and that obsession went to that rape scene and I don’t think he’s ever gonna love you but we’re gonna act surprised and say oh he was never violent like this came out of nowhere. No, he’s always been violent. This did not come out of nowhere. It only came like amplified because you rejected him which is low-key scary as fuck, but yeah that’s toxic as shit so this is what I was hoping for I guess so shout out them. I guess I feel like it’s only gonna get worse. No I know it’s only gonna get worse. OK bye!

FINALLY - the two leads start to behave like humans towards each other.

This is the first episode this whole series were Shi Yan actually starts to behave like a normal person towards Shuyi`. He's still slow to communicate, but she manages to squeeze real responses from him and for a change his responses start to make more sense. Hopefully this trend will continue, but I'm scared to put too much hope in it, given this script writer's love of 'misunderstandings' and the cartoonish 'cold cruel CEO' tropes. She also wrote As Beautiful As You and that one was full of similar awful behavior by the ML that never gets properly accounted for. I'd love to see Dylan and Bai Lu paired up in a show with a much better script than this show.

Let’s call this show, "I See Dead People.” A woman sees recently departed spirits seeking justice. Yes, the premise is essentially The Sixth Sense meets a police procedural. But it's an entertaining concept, and after two episodes, this K-drama already looks like a winner.The cast is exceptionally charismatic, and the central storyline is easy to embrace: a psychic and a detective join forces to solve murders while a number of intriguing subplots begin to unfold.Of course, part of the fun of watching K-dramas is spotting the plot holes. And this series appears determined to provide plenty of them.Spoiler Alert: Stop reading if you haven't watched Episode Two.The show's first major case involves a professional golfer accused of murdering his girlfriend. He's acquitted because prosecutors never recover the body.A flashback reveals what actually happened. Around 6:00 p.m., the couple argues in a hotel room. During the struggle, the woman falls, strikes her head on the wooden bed frame, and dies. Panicking, the golfer flees, leaving blood behind.Later, he hatches an elaborate plan. After photographing a flight attendant leaving the airport, he offers her a ride. She accepts, and accidentally leaves her wallet in his car.Disguised as the flight attendant—with her ID, clothing, luggage, and a wig—he checks into the hotel room next door to the victim's. The rooms share a terrace. He crosses the balcony, enters the victim's room, stuffs her body into a suitcase, takes it back to his room, takes the elevator to the roof, climbs a water tower, and dumps the body into the hotel's water supply.It's certainly creative.It's also where the story completely falls apart.The Biggest Plot HolesHousekeepingThe body supposedly remained in the room overnight, yet housekeeping never discovered it.The BalconyThe entire scheme depended on two neighboring rooms connected by unlocked balcony doors. Modern hotels wouldn’t feature this design. And when balconies do exist, they're typically locked or otherwise secured.The DisguiseThe golfer successfully impersonated a female flight attendant despite modern high-definition security cameras, hotel employees, and identity verification. The BodyThis creates several problems all by itself. First, a standard flight attendant carry-on simply isn't large enough to conceal an adult. Second, even if it somehow fit, dragging that much weight through a hotel and then lifting it up a rooftop water tower would require extraordinary strength. Third, hotel rooftops are generally locked, alarmed, and monitored—not casually accessible.The InvestigationPerhaps the biggest mystery isn't the murder—it's the detectives. Security footage revealed the victim never exited the room. Wouldn't investigators immediately examine every possible exit? A connected balcony and neighboring room would be among the first things they would check.And that's before considering the forensic evidence. There was blood in the room. And a decomposing body in the hotel's water supply would create obvious contamination issues. The list goes on.None of these problems ruin the show, however.In fact, they may become part of its charm.Sometimes a series succeeds not because every detail survives close scrutiny, but because it's simply fun to watch. This show has a terrific cast, an engaging supernatural premise, and enough personality that viewers may happily forgive its increasingly haunted logic.If the remaining episodes maintain the same energy, this could still become one of the more entertaining K-dramas of the year—even if the detectives never notice the balcony.
