Why are the eps getting shorter?? At any rate it was good to finally see Seigo back story. Asuka is so miserable looking. Hopefully next ep shes feeling better. When they were tossing the ashes and Seigo said why are you throwing my father I legit thought Asuka was going to say b/c I didnt think it was your father!!

TWO HOURS IS CRAZYYYYY. Why do the episodes always not connect immediately why is it always some kind of flashback. OKAY THE FACT THAT MASTER LEANED IN FIRST IS CRAZY. YALL KISSED BE FUCKING FR. Oh... Doomed yuri is so much sadder than doomed yaoi my lord. Is that a hickey?....I agree auntie, i agree. Fourth walllll. They are all so cute my lord. Being soulmates in all lives is my favorite fucking trop on god. Charn and Jet give me such butterflies my lord. These freaks no how to yearn my lorddddd. I think they should have developed their feelings more but i understand also how they did it. REFREEEEE IM DONNNNNEEEEEEEEE. Holy fuckkkk. 10/10 im so fucking scared. Okay bye!

This episode pulls a plow. It makes only the tiniest of plot advancements. We do get indications that JBZ is still there for Ming Yi. She still clings stubbornly to her remaining lies though, so the plot is still stuck on that gimmick. On the other side of that, Ji Bo Zai is apparently now unable to figure out obvious clues that would reveal the truth to him even when laid out right in front of him. And various other characters are just irritating in this episode. This part of this series feels like the writers have no respect for the intelligence of the viewers and are just contriving reasons to drag out the episodes with no real progress in the story. It's a total shame after such a promising first 18 or so episodes.

Loved the battle with Mu Ciling. I think he was the one that best understood their abilities even tho kept in a coffin so long. For now it is a stalemate with a promise to meet again at a future date. Changhe looked out for Muyu even when he did not expect his friend to continue their plan. He was the most surprised that Muyu accepted it but reversed their roles. Rabbit is still lying about hoping for another encounter with Lianyue. The Zodiacs were not enthused with sword bearer but followed Muyuβs cue to accept the new leadership. The old patriarch was killed before he could see what the duo would do to make a new Blood River. I think he expected this. As usual higher management is playing games and staying aloof from those actually fighting.ππ The healer has found a way to prosper from Muyuβs changed status and location. π€£ She is shameless in taking advantage of the lovelorn while still intermittently finding those really needing healing. Muyu seems to be taking it all in stride and silently grinds herbs for cures after treating the healer to osmanthus cakes. His history of 18 sword retrieval is funny and good for him that Changheβs ego got him a quality umbrellaπ These two will certainly change things as they have always planned. It just remains to be seen how those changes take shape in the face of reality. Changhe returns the favor of assisting Muyu this time as Muyu helped him from the abyss years ago. I am glad their friendship remains intact in spite of the odds. I am also glad Muyu is sticking around to help Changhe not find his baser self but keep some bottom line he wonβt go lower than. I do wonder how long that will last but hope for the best. It is a shame the Xie champion was killed to make way for the other side. Changheβs members arrive just as Zodiacβs pledging to Changhe as Patriararch. Changhe has discovered the key to the secret room old Patriarch mentioned. Now to find out how much power the patriarch really has. The story continues at a good pace and remains interesting.

So one moment junwoo gets called back by his coach, the next theres a shaky camera, the whole coloring is different and theres a time skip... ofc i loved the content but it was so abrupt i was so convinced jiwon was dreaming. Though in itself i like the cinematography of this part, it was really... abrupt

Asuka is going up the ranks and seems calmer. She is more interested in her appearance by choosing her own look. As she battles the top female player, she is so lost in the game she doesnβt realize she won. These two would have been good friends under different circumstances. I donβt think she chose a new pattern of play for a way out. I think she wanted to know if she could be defeated by Asuka. Once she lost, it was easier to accept bowing out to accommodate family. The dad is still an obtuse jerk, but he recognizes his daughterβs talent. Here her mentor is losing it and I am glad their angel is along to keep him from doing something stupid. Asuka is shocked to see her dad, but to her credit, isnβt losing it either. She needs to acclimate herself to the environment to beat him. The step mom is blocking her from participating so she canβt progress. The preview looks interesting because Asuka is getting the chance to explain herself to a top master. I am curious if she loves the game like her father, or just wants to kick his ass with the game and be done. Not many are noticing this series, but I think it is quite well done and gives us a good view of the game without expecting us to be masters to get whatβs going on. I think they have struck the right balance to keep the game central and viewers interest in all the characters.

Divorce Attorney Shin Episode 4

I don't normally review episodes but I just had to do this. I have no issues with the most part of this episode except the Ae Ran and husband settlement which pissed me off. She says he's a good man. What good man/husband would watch his wife being maltreated for over 20 years, losing herself day by day, blindly following his mother because of one damn filial piety by not even speaking a word of defense for his wife, burdening his wife by not working and not even being a good father for his children?? That's the definition of a good husband?? I understand he has a soft spot for her and may love her in his own way but a good man with conscience wouldn't do all these, the silence was the worst thing he ever did for his family. It's bs ending their story with the MIL just clumsily coming to her senses after 20yrs and doing one stupid ass apology. It's okay for her to misunderstand the past (once again, the deadbeat husband doing), however, all her misunderstanding didn't give her the right to treat her DIL like that! It might be an ideal ending because they're all different generation with a particular set of tradition, I understand. But I hate how they're insinuating the husband loving her, romances and being one stupid good husband, rubbish! There's also the case of the MC nephew growing up in that environment too, another spineless dad stupidly watching his home being ruined and his son being treated with faux kindness. These mfs be pissing me off real bad.

Unfortunately, the writers of this series have leaned hard into the same predictable and contrived plot devices of so many asian romance-dramas and the 'lovers who fail to talk to each other' has led predictably into a totally unnecessary conflict and falling out. So this will allow them to drag us through more episodes of misunderstandings as they struggle to live life without each other only to eventually come back together. And of course they are decorating that weak plot trope with other annoying hack tropes like the 3rd-wheel romantic wannabe who is really an obsessed stalker. So much about this show is very enjoyable. The actors are top-notch and the production levels are fantastic. But the basic plot so far is very, very disappointing and not creative at all. It feels the basic story was thrown together by ChatGPT from prompts from a 12 year old. Why is it so difficult to have the characters behave like thinking adults and still write an engaging plot?
