Wan saying how she will lay low with the Supreme Court minister😝 She has already advertised her endeavors, like he is gonna conveniently forget? 🙄 The wood carver is definitely part of it. Whether he does the actual killing or transports bodies to different location he is accomplice at minimum. That dark flower sure had the artist’s flare, but neither had white mask. The burn case is a stretch when an accident and repentant culprit. Wan needs Bai. As much as I really like Prince and Princess guard wannabes…they have talent, but they are not reliable. The party hardy duo have lost their charm for me. It is becoming a daily event rather than rare occasion. He is pulling her down rather than her making him a better man. They have promised to change their ways but Wan’s reckless behavior needs a firmer hand than these two and Prince Chi can’t be everywhere. He has a weak ass crown Prince to cover up for.😝It was a very sweet gesture of him buying her family home and getting her into the Qin adjoining property. It is a good place to use as a base of operations for their investigations. It can easily home military personnel and keep people under house arrest when necessary, while still having private quarters available. As usual, Prince Chi had this well thought out for her comfort and protection. The coroner is learning what his real job is. He is becoming a better public servant and feeling pride and responsibility with his job. Prince Chi will have to have evidence in hand when he figures out Shuoxi mole. It’s a shame that priorities are askew so that father and son can’t team together to find the culprits undermining the army. Here all roads lead to consort and son.😝 They have been so busy stirring up the pit of misunderstandings between father and son that they are pretty convinced things can only go their way. I have mixed feelings with this episode. I am not happy with how writer is trying to bring balance to Wan’s character. I know that the brothel thing is to get Prince Yan Li in line as a target, but Ning’s choice to drink at every opportunity because she has nothing better to do isn’t working for me either. She could be training with the female soldiers and learning her job or networking with the royals to get the latest gossip. If this is the extent of her efforts she should have stayed home where the dowager could have kept an eye on her. I understand why Wan wanted the princess to know who she really is, but with her alcohol habit getting started, it wasn’t the wisest timing for her to be in the loop. She even said as much. This episode was half headache half decent. The writer knows the objective, but the characters are kinda fumbling around to get there except for Prince Chi and Bai.

either there is a problem with the translation or the plot is just misleading for the fun of it. at the start i was sure the reason Qi Lu was after v was cause of that painting at his house that i assumed his mother painted & he wanted to know her connection to that place & that shop. was wrong as he was the one that copied Qin Xiao painting & won an award & he felt guilt & wanted to make it up to him. ******************************************************************************************************************in this ep we see Qi Lu mother alive & well when i am 99% sure the reporter that interviewed Qi Lu in the 1st ep asked about his deceased mother. guess she just ran away & promised to come back for him. good she remembered after all this time. something better then nothing i guess - & everything was finally gonna work out - Qi Lu would gain his freedom & get away from his father's shadow & abuse. plus he wouldn't have to give up on his love as Qin Xiao would wait. & then we get that moronic scene at the end of this ep. Qi Lu himself told his friend that what he was trying to do was dangerous & here he goes & accompanies him - face palm moment. now wonder who is gonna get f*cked Qi Lu, his friend or Qin Xiao OMG... ****************ironic that the 2nd couple worked out the problem & they smooth sailing - who would've thunk it lol - aish 3 more eps to go & so much can go wrong

So of course Wan is going to take on Supreme Court minister. Prince Yan Li and Princess Ning are like Heckle and Jeckle 😂 They got the job done but it was more serendipity than skill. Hopefully they will get better soon. The minister is on to them about Jin case and I’m not convinced he’s not part of the cult. The cases for his jurisdiction were buried. He’s either responsible or framed for the files. Wan’s aunt is on par with the old bat that died in the fire. I hope Wan touches everything they own so they can watch it all burn.😝🔥I’m glad Wan is vacating but wish she would leave a nice blaze behind her. There is a tongue case and ice case corresponding with the old cases. The chubby guy trying to start the stampede to trample evidence is definitely one of them. For all the loud wretching, the artist showed up on the scene by his own volition. He’s part of it and the Supreme Court Minister wasn’t surprised prisoner was innocent or rattled by repeat cases. But he is puzzled about her. Now he wonders if she is Shen Wan or no. I am not sure of the astrology behind the murders but think Prince Chi is working on that along with being investigative censor for military case. He has done what he can for Wan in his absence with the carriage and new residence. Wan has tipped her hand whether she meant to or not and again at a vulnerable time when they are separated. Is the minister friend or foe? I still think he fits cult leader best.😝 It’s his sweet disposition 😝On to next episode to see how things play out.

Qi Lu is deluding himself into thinking that after he gets into collage he will be free of his father. like his mother couldn't run away from him - neither will Qi Lu be free. sadly this is the reality. cause he got money & power & that trumps all. ***************am happy that Liu finally told Tan Yin the truth. it might be more of a white lie as he does have feelings for Tan Yin, but he feels guilty - either cause he is moving on with his life & will be happy & in-love while his brother is dead & buried or cause Tan Yin reminds him of his brother so he will be a constant reminder & niggling question if he is really with Tan Yin cause of his brother.... complex messed-up sh*t for sure

was wondering why every ep gets over so fast & just now noticed that each ep is only 28 mins...lol - anyway at least one couple figured out what they want or to give it a try. idk if i am happy about it as there has been to many hints at bad things to come from their surrounding's - so now cautiously happy. ******************************************************************************** regarding the 2nd couple; Liu was being a douche so i am happy he finally (after lying) admitted the truth about his feelings & even though Tan Yin didn't get a confession & the start of a relationship, he at least knows why Liu isn't ready to admit his feelings. even though this is giving him hope & if Liu decides, he can keep Tan Yin eternally hopping - which isn't good

the end was ironic, Tan Yin was sure Liu was talking too his brother (does he know it was Liu's younger brother in the pic?!? idk) anyway he was sure the "i missed u" wasn't meant for him. so he took off his hearing aid so as not to hear something more that would give him false hope & break his heart. while Liu actually was talking to Tan Yin. *********************************************& idk how i feel about Qi Lu being this persistent, it's good not to give up but u can't force urself on someone u love, just cause u love them. u for sure can't force them to face their feelings. so i don't really like how he is acting crazy.

Entong the faker

This started off cute with them declaring they are a couple and him being really sweet. And then the infamous Entong takes over the episode. 😝First time I have fast forwarded scenes. I am more than tired of this faker. She is ruining the drama for me and getting too much screen time. If she even really cared for him it wouldn’t be so bad, but the pain she inflicts on people around her to get her way almost make me nauseous. We should have had more respite from the other couples. Right when we are promised Jian Dan will get some spine and tell Entong to shove off, she fakes depression and self harm. Han, who truly suffers depression is being triggered by her crap and I had to fwd thru these parts just to finish episode. The only good part…auntie was along and knows her number. Her days are limited getting away with it but it has already been one day too long. I am wondering if mean girl roomie is pregnant. She has been absent and not really talking to anybody and shows up getting sick. Something is wrong with her and she needs medical attention and hopefully monkey will get her there. Shi needs to give up on his crush. He is flying in a specialist she has no need for. I am hoping Han gets some help because he is the one that needs it. Han is being played like a fiddle. I am sure Entong is wondering why she didn’t think of this method sooner. She could have bypassed Jian Dan if she had.😝she is pretty pleased with herself strolling by with the guy but she deserves to end with none when this is shown for what it truly is. what a depressing ep - Qi Lu doesn't seem stupid & yet he wanted to hang out at his fathers place???? the fact his father didn't catch him & Qin Xiao is a miracle... given the working projector - like duh! & i knew (as i am sure v did) that his father would not only find out but beat the living day lights out of him when he did that he had lied to him. *****************************************know that he still young & doesn't have a means to support himself & given his fathers name & money his disappearing isn't an option as he would "take care" of him like i am sure he did his wife. but still when will Qi Lu have enough of this treatment & stand-up for himself or lash out. will that ever happen?!??? Qin Xiao doing it for him wont be advisable as i am sure Qi Lu's father would happily destroy Qin Xiao's life. so Qi Lu needs to be the one that stands up to his own father. **********************also i didn't get Qi Lu pressing Qin Xiao his hints were quite thick & yet Qin Xiao was avoiding accepting Qi Lu advances. why push him when he seems not ready & quite uncomfortable. u made ur feelings clear give him time to come around on his own.******************************************************************************************************************************************Tan Yin is another one i feel bad for i can't blame him for developing feelings & Liu for his own reasons can't seem to keep his distance from Tan Yin & yet he is now hurting him by playing ignorant - i get him saying he is his little brother was making it clear to Tan Yin how he sees him. & yet i some how feel annoyed cause his treatment of Tan Yin is why he has fallen for Liu ugh *****************************************************************************************************************************************& if not enough guys got their heart broken in this ep Wei Jia Yu got his heart bruised too... ironically at the start of this i wouldn't have thought i would care one way or the other. but he is slowly growing on me & i felt bad for him.
