KJ2025 The autopsy of the governor had interesting results. It is a left handed swordsman/assassin and not the governor. So how good is the governor at martial arts? He accidentally showed himself to his daughter who passed out at the sight. It is put into question if she is really his daughter. If not, then who? The caretaker is mute but not deaf. He is well aware of what is going on but can only be understood by a few. The minister of justice seems to be the only one trying to get to the truth of the matter. Everybody else is falling in line with whatever the temple tells them. That fake activity behind curtain. Is like wizard of oz…pay no attention to the man behind the curtain😂😝 The followers choose to be stupid and go along since the alligator guard can eat any opposers. They use it to extort ‘tithes’ from the merchants and subdue the people. There is another in ministry like Fed lamenting the loss of the famous wine. It used to flow abundantly as part of their trade and now has become nectar to the god so only a few can partake. Lu Yong confessed to trying to murder the governor, but also brings up the records he gave the administrator. The official promptly lies and betrays the efforts of the rebels. He is not backed by Su or the minister of justice who has now been tagged to help Su take care of ghosts. Su visits Lu Yong in jail and confirms the assassin was in the coffin. Lu LiFeng shows up timely to help Ying Tao get rid of other would be assassins but ends up yet again needing treatment from Fei to save him. This time is alligator bite. Our team is united and not. Lu at least says he is not leaving and stays by XiJun’s side openly. XueHuan runs off to get him some hot water for his feet. And we get to celebrate the team is at same place. I like that Lu did recon prior and had established the lay of the land. He already knows things are off and here a strong arm is needed. Scholarly Su would already be dead if not for the swordsmen around him. Which does make me wonder why the princess has cursed him with promotions that don’t really suit his skillset. She has cursed him as much with his job as she has Lu removing his. She is a devious royal with more smarts than the prince. Is she using them to clean house in the region or to get rid of competition?

estar aish what an ep - but we knew it was a long time coming & Xiao Yuan himself said he would go crazy if Wei Qian found himself a partner. i get Tan Yu caring so much for Wei Qian, he wants to help him even without being asked, but him telling Xiao Yuan "...do u know what a tough life Wei Qian has had..." & i am sitting here scratching my head - wasn't Xiao Yuan the one sleeping on the streets?? did he have it bad???? ***********************************************************************************************this is why at the start of this, was wondering if Tan Yu & Wei Qian were a couple. cause he not related & yet he acts like he is a part of their family - when he isn't, even friends don't get this involved - not on their own accord. ********************************he more or less got the ball rolling & Xiao Yuan who was sick & hearing all that gossip & seeing Feng Ning act all cozy with Wei Qian, add the wine & then we get what we got. **************************************************************************************ironic & yet not shocking that Xiao Yuan had nothing to fear as Wei Qian had NO intentions of being with anyone, i have said this before (idk what his mother has done to him) but he has a phobia of women, so i doubt there will ever come a time where he is ready to commit to one. using his younger sibling was an excuse.******************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************the train-wreck was emotional mayhem to watch, i got why Wei Qian was ghosting Xiao Yuan, he might have started off angry but he was more worried & terrified about what to do & how to deal with the situation & he couldn't come up with any solution's, other then Tan Yu suggestion to get Xiao Yuan to move out. what else could he do, then run away from the problem.*Xiao Yuan on the other hand - poor soul, my heart went out to him - how can u blame him??? of course one would love Wei Qian, he didn't just give him a home, he - when he was a child himself, took him off the streets, gave him education, a roof & then saved his life & got beaten to keep him safe. what Xiao Yuan must feel for Wei Qian is beyond gratitude, not even being indebted covers the debt he must feel, he wants to take care of his savior & being gay of course that also translated to attraction. or so i think...

Well good grief😝 I thought Lu was punished again by Prince but this time it’s the Princess that had him dismissed. How is he on the s list for both of them? I’m with Su on this one. Why doesn’t he seem to give a damn?🧐🙄 Part of his nature is to not curry favor and this seems to be getting him soundly slapped from both royal sides.😝I wish he would have invited XiJun to his reunion, but I guess he didn’t think it appropriate to get drunk in front of her. He finally does give her a heartfelt hug when she offers to accompany him wherever he goes.🥰 They all wake up to find him and Fei gone. Ironically Su finds himself promoted again. I don’t think Lu begrudged him. I think he chooses not to go with because he doesn’t like handouts even from friends. Also, if he is ill fated with royals…why would he choose to add that to their burdens? He seems to be resolved to find his own way without any of their aid. Considering his strength of character, I don’t fault him for this. He always seems to choose the most difficult path that flies in the face of existing authority. His causes are righteous, but he still does not play well with others. The school of hard knocks seems to be his path and he rightly decides to give his friends a much smoother course. Su, XiJun and XueHuan are nearing Ninghu under a stormy sky and filled with Su’s scary stories of crocodiles and alligators. The horses are skittish and we see huge reptiles walking around on the outskirts of the water. The temple they seek shelter in is for tuo. It’s creepy and they are joined by two factions. One that serves the god and one that doesn’t. They are having an actual war in the temple. An armed female joins them and encourages them to be quiet. The battle has ended but Su makes a noise and the temple is searched. He pretends to be voice of the god and they are superstitious enough to fall for it.😝 when they get into the city it is clear that the worshippers of tuo expect others to do the same or die. There is an uneasy current in the city because of this. When they head to the governor’s house they find him dismembered. Maybe now we will find out why XiJun did not like him. The minister of justice and the daughter seem to be the only two mourning the governor. The daughter is the same armed female from the temple. There is an island to see the great tuo god. There is be an alligator farm where non believers are eaten. Whoever controls the alligators controls the people. Lu Yong was the leader of the rebel group. Seems Lu’s get into trouble. 🧐He has brought the only evidence that could convict the group of believers. It lists specifically who members are and crimes committed, but he has idealistically put it in hands of administrator. Now the question really is…which side is this administrator on? It is unlikely to be an unbiased view. The one clue Su is given is that this firmly took root thirty years ago.

Tan Yu is pretty fast on the uptake - he knew right away that Xiao Yuan's special someone was Wei Qian, which Wei Qian also knows but isn't ready to face, cause he more or less raised Xiao Yuan, so i get how weird that will feel to him. ********************btw i think Tan Yu called the new investor "ur future sister-in-law" just to force Xiao Yuan to show his cards. personally i don't like this, cause i don't see any good coming out of it - neither "brother" is ready for this revelation & their happy family life will be shattered, by this truth. ***********************************************************************************************************even though some thing needs to shatter for them to move forward, or they will just keep existing as is & if Wei Qian does find a woman he is wants to marry, Xiao Yuan's life will turn into pure hell - where he might literally go crazy. which in turn will also hurt Wei Qian, who wont understand why his younger brother is suffering or how to help him. & the one thing that is very clear is how much Wei Qian loves his siblings - even above his own self. *****************************************************************Tan Yu is an interesting character - he is a very good guy & a good friend, so not shocking that Li Li is smitten. the question is - will they end up together?!? & if so will Wei Qian approve???

Celestia- HOD She really sees humans more humanlike. And finally the most awaited thing, that Bai Jiu Si has entered the past memories, he can't change them but he can't see them. And a was between immortals and mortals has been declared by Long Yuan. I really disagree with what he's doing, he's just disregarding his master's order to not harm her, and he even abuses his authority. Zhang Suan, something really is suspicious about him.

yxwkl Now for callouts. Wow TSP that was rude, but honestly I do think TSP's performance was better than DDOMMIU. I do like her, but I don't think she deserved it over TSP, even she was confused.

People I loved: DDG (drill king for a reason), 西部双子星 (I'm a sucker for fierce competitors. AND THE 新秀REFERENCE MY HEART), skyslimsKyoA, SIMBA (NOUS UNDERGROUND WELCOME WELCOME!!! I AM A FAN OF ANYONE THERE. also the PACT cameos during his part <3), Prince.Wang------------------------------------------------People I see potential in: UUX (no wonder XieDi last season kept picking Chongqing people damn), 八口Buck (it's such a shame he forgot the words... that shouldn't have happened. aww capper really wanted him too. I'm so glad that he didn't pull a Tao second chance), Cool-Aid (woah!! so much improvement from last year. I love the ferocity and punchlines), 叶尔林 (why did he reuse one. he had a good shot.), 儿几 (Tao confuses me so much. why didn't he get it? everyone agreed he should've got it...), BiP-T, Danny K (welcome back!! I loved his collab w/ VOB), Yellllow, blackthedevil (hello returner, I was rooting for you last year)---------------------------I'm a little bit against Tao for 韩铁牛 and 儿几 - both deserved a chance. But overall, I agree with quite a lot of his choices (especially against 三火flame). Some of the flows are so boring and easily memoriseable; I'm glad he's calling them out.

why does it feel like Tan Yu noticed something - when there wasn't anything much to notice. maybe how Xiao Yuan treasured Wei Qian gift, more then the other 2 gifts he received?!? still that not enough of an indicator to his feelings - no?!? ******************************************************************************************************************************************************also Wei Qian feels the tension when Xiao Yuan gets too close, that's why he keeps telling him "it's too hot, get off/away..." & maybe cause he see's Xiao Yuan as a brother, he doesn't want to admit to what is clear to the eye. ************************************************************************************************************************************************************************also given Li Li showing him Xiao Yuan's reading genre preference's i guess he understood that Xiao Yuan is gay - that's why he suddenly remembered & asked about the class-monitor. but also i have a feeling he also loves Xiao Yuan & not as a brother. just cause he more or less brought him up as a son/younger brother - he can't make a switch or face what he truly feels. this freakin complex

the way Wei Qian takes care of his siblings is awe inspiring - there actual parents that don't do half of what he is doing & the constant sacrificing, he ALWAYS put's them before himself. it seems like sometimes what he wanted for himself & could do cause of the kids that were relying on him he wants them to achieve, especially Xiao Yuan. ***************************************the fact he has a phobia of women is saddening. what his mother did to him - really not everyone should be a parent. but that's why his sister is infuriating me. ******************************************************************************************************it's ironic that she is his biological sibling, but she a freakin spoilt brat, she saw & experienced 1st hand her mother's madness & even if she was too young to get what her brother went through to support them, am sure she saw him coming back late - she not wonder where her tuition, the rent for their house, her clothes let alone the food she ate came from?!?? she not care that her brother was working himself to the bone, so she could continue living without a care?!?****************************************************************************************************************************************given the life her mother lived, didn't she wonder how she got addicted? wonder that maybe she could go down a similar path, being an airhead getting into a car with a stranger? i get she is young, but she is also very self-involved & undeserving of a brother like Wei Qian.

the whole interaction with the teacher was so funny, dude's a low-talker, poor Wei Qian had to lean in to hear WTF he was saying at times & then the pushing of the "magic club"... lol - given how serious this BL is, that funny moment was much needed.****************************************************************************************************************************************really love how much Wei Qian cares for his siblings - they literally r his life - his world revolves around them. considering what little we see about his abusive mother it breaks my heart all over again. & also warms it as seeing Xiao Yuan being as loving & reciprocal, he cares for Wei Qian as much as Wei Qian cares for him. seeing him trying to work or using the 'red envelopes' to pay the bills. makes my heart break with how beautiful this family is. ******************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************but am wondering is Li Li, Wei Qian's biological sibling? as his mother was a drug addict & in a bad way so when she have time to have another child. or what she a baby at the time Wei Qian was getting abused so we didn't see her.

this was heartbreakingly beautiful - seeing orphans just ignored/abandoned, no one caring for them is terrifying, but it's also heartwarming that even with the burden or surviving, making a living for himself & his little sister, Wei Qian has such a huge heart, seeing Xiao Yuan living in the streets, he was ready to share with him what little he had & even eventually took him in. the fact he did whatever to survive, breaks my heart. *******************************************************************************Taiwanese BL's r on the same level as Japanese BL's - the plot is well thought-out, acted & produced. it's addicting & leaves u wanting for more when u reach the end. *************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************btw wondering who Tan Yu is to Wei Qian, is he really just the son of the landlord? cause him caring & helping so much for Wei Qia & his family, makes u wonder is there more between them. not that good people don't exist & yet curious if they just friends or more.
