Good, but felt a bit rushed.

I liked this movie, i watched it for the second time because i wanted to write a revieuw and the first time was to long ago to remember the details. I enjoyed it as much as the first time.

The story is good, but it feels rushed. I also watched the series and this story is a lot better as a long series, it just needs the time to realy tell the story right. Even if i hadn't watched the series i still would feel the movie feels rushed. But it's still a good watch as a movie.

The visuals are stunning, good music and good special effects.
The actors did a good job and the dynamics and chemistry of the leads were good. Plus i really can appreciate a good kiss!

A Wholesome Satisfaction throughout 1 Hour

I know U guyss already know through the Synopsis that it'll be a School-Bullying Theme.Yes,There Are bullying. Everytime you watch them Your Blood will Boil to the Highest Peak. But Trust Me it was needed for the satisfaction you'll feel in the later Episode. If you can't feel the Pain of Victim or can't Hate the Villain enough the satisfaction will be dull for you.

Both The actors Did really well in their part.Shin hae sun is always my favourite actress, on the other hand Hating a handsome man like Lee Jun young is really hard. But they Both really nailed their character. Other side characters r good too.How i wish it would be a Drama rather than a Movie.why?? because i feel chemistry.. hihihi ๐Ÿคฉ๐Ÿ˜

A cute ducktale about love

I give it a 8/10, because while it has its flaws, itโ€™s still an easy and enjoyable movie.
So, if youโ€™re looking for something fluffy and easygoing to spend some time with, this could be an option, you wonโ€™t regret.
The characters are likable and the actors are working fluff with underlying depth into their roles.

Two โญ๏ธ got reduced by me, because the storytelling and its pacing felt a bit off and rough around the edges.
But overall? Give it a try.

Unfunny and Uninteresting

A plot that has been used on a lot of K-Dramas recently, I watched Love Untangled with minimum expectations, and still got disappointed.

The Plot - A Girl with curly hair wants to get it untangled so that she can propose her crush. A concept that is not unknown in dramas. What I expected to be honest that maybe the movie will preach about loving yourself irrespective of appearance, but it didn't.

Talking about the chemistry, I felt both the ML were miscast and the screentime for Cha Woo Min was insanely low. There was no emotional gravity, no bond built-up and lack of spark that made me lose interest in the characters.

The second half felt like watching something with a 2x speed, no development, rushed story, weak screenplay and an unsatisfactory ending. Honestly, the movie did try something, but felt nothing more than a pale imitation of other rom-com themes that I have seen in the past.

Overall, Love Untangled is a messy and a weakly written rom-com that neither romanticizes it's character fairly nor leaves a strong message of loving yourself with the flaws. A total disappointment.

My Rating : 2/5

ridiculous and waste of time

the drama was ridiculous and waste of time, the cameraman needs to chill I canโ€™t see either showing randome building or zooming into their mouth or eyes. The ML hairstyle was goofy what the heck is that. the FL piss me off she was just too week, the orange guy was just there and so what if your mom cheated how is it the girls fault I donโ€™t understand that his agency she was useless and was needed in the show, the brother was also just there. Overall the movie was nonsense and not worthy of watching

Charming slice of life

If you are having a bad day and need something soothing with almost zero conflict and the nice being nice to the nice, The Way We Are is the perfect answer to what ails you. Ann Hui created a gentle and touching slice of life centered around a hard-working widow raising her teenage son.

Cheung Kwai works as a durian slicer and stocker at the local grocery store. Her son Ka On enjoys manga and while not ambitious has a good heart on him. The two live in a rundown apartment, yet are content in their circumstances. A new elderly neighbor asks Kwai about a job in the store. Kwai takes Granny Leung Foon under her wing helping her whenever she can. The two women develop an easy-going bond. Whether a funeral, a hospitalized relative, or celebration, Kwaiโ€™s family gathers and supports each other. Kwai had worked to put her brothers through school and they now look for opportunities to show her kindness.

Pau Hei Chingโ€™s Kwai was the focal point of the film with the other characters acting as satellites circling around her magnetic pull. Pau gave Kwai a quiet confidence and soft-spoken demeanor. Nothing rattled her as she faced whatever came her way with strength and aplomb. Pau went largely without makeup, had mussed up hair, and wore old t-shirts, yet had a beautiful dignity. Chan Lai Wan exuded the tragic loneliness of an older woman who had lost the most important people in her life. At the HKFA, Pau won for Best Actress, Chan Lai Wan for Supporting Actress and Ann Hui for Best Directorโ€”all well deserved.

This film will not be for everyone as nothing exciting happened. Hui showcased the quiet joys of tissues being given with the daily newspaper, freshly cut fruit, and helping a person without asking for anything in return. Filled with compassionate, kind acts, The Way We Are was exactly what I needed in this time when civility and generosity have often become too rare.

I started watching this movie, "Journey to the Shore" at the beginning, I was smiling seeing Sang-Beom and Min-ha hang out together, and I was blushing after seeing them kiss! I was a bit shocked to see that Min-ha got injured on the beach, and I'm glad that Sang-Beom helped him., I was a bit mad that in school, four girls were making fun of Min-ha with someone else, but it was a bit weird and embarrassing after seeing Min-ha touch the part of the girl. Sang-Beom and Min-ha walked together. I feel like Min-ha has struggled with his mental health, and I feel the same way as him. But at the end, in the middle, including before, I was very happy seeing them having fun, then change, and I felt upset that Min-ha broke up with Sang-beo, and I was a bit upset, and Sang-beom was upset as well. At the end, I feel like Min-ha might have committed Suicide or gone somewhere for a better life. I enjoyed it and love them so much!

Kisses??

A short film with three very short story's, all about kissing while sheltering from the rain.

Story 1:
Good visuals.
Good acting, i loved the way how she kept looking at the lips of the other girl when sitting on the stairs. Unfortunatly very dissapointed by the kiss.

Story 2:
Visuals good.
Girl acted better than the boy. Again just a peck on the lips.

Story 3:
Good visuals.
Good acting and finaly a decent kiss!

Heartbreaking Story

A heartbreaking story about a Korean family in the earlier 2000s. this movie is based off real events.

I was reminded of many things while watching this movie. One of them is be aware of the people you call friends. Becareful who you trust and listen to that gut feeling.

If you are a fan of the cast I would give it a watch just mentally prepare yourself.

Amazing acting, writing and pacing. One time watch since it's such a heavy plot. โญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธ

Plot Synopsis:

"Jeong Yoon and Jong Bae own a car body repair shop together that gets in financial trouble. To help cover the losses and take care of her family, Jeong Yoon decides to smuggle thirty kilograms of cocaine."

A Heartfelt Romance About Authenticity

The story of Lovesick follows Ye Zijie, a troubled student who, in an attempt to escape academic pressure and family problems, decides to fake an illness. At the same time, we meet Ye Zijie, the strict yet mysterious class president (who, curiously, shares his name), and who soon begins to suspect his deception.

At first, I wasnโ€™t fond of the female leadโ€™s behavior. Her blunt, almost hostile attitude feels jarring, so much so that itโ€™s hard to imagine anyone acting like that in real life. Yet, as the film progresses, it becomes clear that this sharpness is part of her characterโ€™s evolution.

Director Fu-Hsiang Hsu skillfully avoids falling into the trap of exaggerated melodrama. Rather than leaning on the usual clichรฉs of romance films to force empathy, he allows the story to unfold naturally, revealing the characters with both their flaws and their strengths. This choice makes their connection feel far more genuine, and therefore, much more powerful.

Ultimately, Lovesick is a film about acceptance, not only of illness or circumstance, but also of oneself. By confronting and exposing their vulnerabilities, the characters learn to love themselves and discover strength within their fragility. It is precisely this courage, this bravery to be seen as they truly are, that makes the filmโ€™s message resonate so deeply.

why so harsh?!

A lot of people are being harsh on this one. Sure, it wasnโ€™t the biggest blockbuster, but I actually enjoyed it. Psychokinesis had a solid story, some genuine emotion, and followed the heroโ€™s journey in a satisfying way. The ending wrapped things up well, and for me, it definitely had entertainment value. I donโ€™t regret watching it at all.

Stains and computers

The film is a visual feast, with a thick and oppressive atmosphere.
Some scenes are directed in a way that sticks in my mind, the ghostly apparitions first, but perhaps even more so the wandering around the desolate city.

Yet the film's two hours drag on; the gimmick is a little too silly to justify such length, and after the first round of horror, the film flounders quite a bit.
While the transition to a post-apocalyptic atmosphere isn't totally botched, Pulse suffers throughout from very weak dialogue and rather uninteresting characters, despite their subtle performances.

The two main female roles are magnificent, and it's a great pleasure to witness all the outfits from that era.

I think the film would have benefited greatly from being even more atmospheric and not explaining the themes and mechanics of the story.
The moment when Michi is alone facing the beseeching stain is one of the most beautiful in the film. I would have liked to see more scenes like this rather than the heavy-handed and cryptic conversations that occur regularly. The inhabitants of this world have the unfortunate habit of turning into Dark Souls NPCs at the slightest annoyance.

Surprisingly, the moment that sticks in my mind the most is when the two main characters meet halfway through the film, when Michi's car breaks down. The scene radiates a particularly strong warmth, in contrast to the morbid desolation of the rest of the feature film.

On another note, while many viewers mention the film's pioneering approach to digital themes, I personally find that this ultimately plays a fairly minor role, and that it is more an aesthetic exploitation of what was then a new technology than any kind of commentary on the effects of the internet.

Overall, it is so visually striking despite its flaws that I will gladly watch it again.

Really weird, not in a good way.

There's little to like here, ngl.
I've not read the books, but from having watched all the other movie and cdrama adaptations of Candle in the Tomb, this seems to have little to do with them.
The main characters are very different, there's no tomb raiding and for some reason - aliens.
One of the weakest "adaptations" of this series, for sure.
And not a fun movie to watch. (whether you're familiar with GBotC or not.)
