Unimaginable plot twist

This movie truly captures every emotion of 21st century dating and depicts the problems which can lead the relationship to crumble. One of the best thing, is that the cast is amazing and did justice to their roles.
The movie portrays the sweet-and-sour taste that comes with romantic relationships especially when faced with the choice between love versus career.

The climax makes the movie stand out completely. It tells that relationships aren't always sweet, they tend to be the sweetest only in the initial phase after which it eventually starts becoming sour.

The movie teaches you a lot about how long distance relationship works, how people are scared of long term commitments, how working life could be so hectic and also how one trues to find comfort and love in these types of situations.

The plot twist is so amazing and so unpredictable that it catches you off-guard and completely changes the course of the movie. Truth be told, I was kinda disappointed with the ending twist. I was like, "what just happened". Initially I was confused, but later after analysis and deep thought, I understood the plot twist.?

The plot twist is unimaginable. That's the victory and the best part of the movie. As majority of us believes in a fairytale, happy ending stories, this drama slaps one hard right to the face, that, there's no such thing.
There's is no happy ending in real life.

The ending will not be the thing you seek for.
So, if you are mentally ready to watch it and is interested, go for it?

If you want to watch the story of Love O2O in 2 hours watch this.

If you can spare the time watch the drama it's worth it!!

This is basically Love O2O (drama) all mashed into a movie. When you watch a drama and fall in love with the actors and their way of acting it's a little hard to get used to others that try to remake the same exact story.

The one main difference that I notices was that in this movie there are a lot more physical fighting that was not shown in the original drama.

For the movie they seem to also get ride of the character named Zhen Shao Xiang who was also Zhen Shui Wuxiang they instead gave Zhen Shui Wuxiang to Cao Guang, which definitly gave a little change to the story line.

Coming to watch this after watching the drama my expectations were a bit high and they were not met. The drama is by far my favorite out of these two versions.

Unrealistic review?

According to my personal taste. As you see this movie got a solid 10 from me and I know it seems I did that lightheartedly, but I did not. From beginning to the end, it doesn't fail to hold the interest of the viewer. Soon we realise that something is wrong and we learn everything in due time. It's going to jump-scare you, shock you, keep you on the edge of your seat and even move you to tears. The acting was great, the music was beautiful and I've watched three times, enjoying it every single time. This is one of my most favourite movies ever.

A cute and funny movie

I wasn't sure if i wanted to watch a movie from 2016 as i have so many drama/movies to watch, but i fell in love with the title. The storyline reminded me of Best mistake a korean drama that i really liked and upon looking at the cast i am a fan of yosuke sugino and Yamazaki Kento. It was a storyline that could relate to HS students and the pressures felt in trying to fit in a group rather than be lonely. Erika was that girl and wanted to be part of the conversation instead of just listening to her friends talk about dating and sexual activity that have happened. So she has been pretending to have a boyfriend and involved in a rasey relationship and they want to see a picture and so she takes a few randon photos of this cute guy. As she nervous to show them they all agree that he looks like a model, but familiar until someone says hes Sata Kyoya and goes to there school. Now the fun begins as she has to ask him to be her BF and so he agree, but she has to be his dog and answer when he call and fetch what he wants. So now the so called fun begins as he doesn't believe in love and such and she try teaching him in her own way. Its a cute and fun movie to watch.

Donnie Yen in a romantic comedy kung fu movie wearing a fat suit truly sounded like a train wreck idea. At times it felt more like a parody of kung fu movies and police movies. Amazingly, it succeeded for the most part.

The story is nonsensical, and started off slow, picking up steam when Donnie's character Fallon, had to transport a prisoner to Japan. I was bracing myself for a lot of fat jokes and fat shaming, thankfully, it didn't happen. Fallon had been demoted after destroying the police station in the process of catching a band of bank robbers. His girlfriend dumped him and at work he was exiled to the basement storage check-out. Like a lot of people might have done, he comforted himself with food and gained weight. When called into action in Japan he was still able to perform his moves, act courageously, and handle the dangerous situations. A lot of movies would have made him feel inadequate after gaining weight, not this movie, regardless of his weight he was still a good cop.

I thought it was funny in places, my husband laughed out loud through the whole thing. Maybe the Y chromosome helps to understand some of the humor.

The martial arts choreographers outdid themselves with creative and entertaining fights, with and without weapons. Donnie and his stunt double(s) made the action thrilling to watch. The choreographers designed fights often using whatever might be lying around, be it meat cleavers, frying pans, large tunas or a forklift. I'm used to seeing Godzilla tear up Tokyo Tower, this time Donnie and the Big Bad fought over Tokyo precariously kicking, fighting, and jumping above the brightly lit city.

Among the side characters I enjoyed the interpreter (Jessica Jann), she moved seamlessly between Japanese, Cantonese, and English with a ditzy flair. Wong Jing played the good-natured Thor, who was in love with a restaurant owner. Donnie had to come to the aid of his ex (Niki Chow) when she ended up in the clutches of the yakuza baddies. Love was definitely in the air!

Enter the Fat Dragon had action, humor, and a little romance. The story and action were fast. Not perfect by any stretch of the imagination, but was easy, breezy, and beautiful even at 250 pounds (113kg).

Just like FOOD WARS!

This movie gives me that excitement of the anime series food wars, mainly cause one of the main actor looks almost identical to Sōma yukihira in food wars.the fact that Tianci’s father disapproved of his cooking skills also made it fun to watch cause the thrill of how he was gonna prove him wrong kept lingering from the beginning of the movie. I also enjoyed this movie because of the attention to details of culinary skills that the two main chefs embodied. The intense look in their eyes due to the passion they have for cooking and their self-assured character that needs no acknowledgment was just FAB, I LOVE, I LOVE I LOVE!!!....definitely a MUST WATCH.

Pleasantly surprised

So before watching this film I read some of the reviews on here as well as other websites and honestly they weren't that great. People complained about the bad acting and terrible writing, so with reason I was reluctant to give this a try, but I did. As I watched I kept waiting for the "bad acting" and "terrible writing" many reviewers claimed was an issue. In my opinion the writing was pretty solid and the acting was actually very good, lowkey better than some of the acting in the most popular BL's. Yes the acting is very over the top and exaggerated but that's how it's supposed to come across as this is apparently adapted from a Manga. Long story short I think this was a really cute BL. The story could've used a little more substance but it did fairly well. I think this is a prime example of how you should not allow reviews discourage you from giving a film or series a chance and experiencing it for yourself.

A Must Watch!

If there is one LGBTQ+ film you take the time to watch, let it be this.

Can I just say that the south-east Asian countries are really coming through with these queer films. 'Dear Ex' and 'The Handmaiden' had been the only other Asian queer films I had seen before this and the standard was already high, and this certainly lived up to my expectations.

Now I have seen plenty of BL series, mainly Thai but a couple of Taiwanese and Filipino, and I certainly have my own issues with them, but this film is not like that. This is a *real* love story, one filled with hope, excitement, passion and heartbreak. With strong acting and a very gripping storyline, I've already rewatched this and felt even more enthralled the second time round.

Hoping to find a few more similar films to watch because I'm afraid anything after this will be a disappointment lol

if you believe in true love

●FIRST IMPRESSION
So I was always wondering what the significance of the synopsis describing a scene so vividly. but when I completed the movie I can completely agree with the title describing A MOMENT TO REMEMBER.

●PLOT VIEW
I fell for the character, their love story was saddening yet memorable and touching. I literally cried with them on the way to the vicissitude journey. The movie shows what pure true love is, when you expect nothing and give love with all your faith, you will double fold in return. Choi Chul Soo is the average working person, a girl would want as a husband, he is rude, jealous, insecure sometimes arrogant but the way he showed his love is irresistible, he became the person whom I would search for in my future husband.

●ACTING/CAST
All the characters looked so young since I am watching this movie in lockdown 2021. Son Ye Jin looked so youthful and her acting chops were excellent. This was one of her earliest works and am highly impressed.
This was the first time I watched Jung Woo Sung, and he is exceptionally amazing. His hair, clothes, eyes, body language everything was perfect. He didn’t seem he acted it felt like he lived the role of Choi Chul Soo.

●MUSIC
OST was infused into the scene just as we have the cherry on the cake. it soothed the ears and comforted the souls, relieving the heartache.

●REWATCH
This drama has high rewatched value but I would be diabetic if I watch too much sweet. Yeah, I will wait for some time to rewatch this again.

●RECOMMENDATION
If you like love stories this movie is for you but remember it has a tragic element, so prepare a lot of tissue.

●FAV SCENE
I can't pick one moment because every moment is so mesmerizing. Beautifully scripted and perfectly painted. I would pick the first drinking scene at the roadside tent.

Korean masterpiece

No surprise...another Korean masterpiece in the world of cinema.

I don't even want to classify this as a typical zombie film as it does not do it justice with the stereotypes that come with such films.

The acting was absolutely superb...every single actor had me invested in their stories and emotions. Character development in a zombie film is almost non-existent but somehow this film is able to implement it in such a flawless manner.

This is definitely a film anyone would enjoy watching.

An absolute emotional rollercoaster!

[[Pls note that english isn't my first language so there might be spelling or grammatical mistakes]]
Honestly when i saw the trailer on rakuten viki I at first wasn't to invested and i started the drama as background noise for drawing. But holy cow i got so invested i couldn't focus on drawing no more! The story is absolutely gorgeous and real that it isn't normal no more. As a part of the LGBTQA+ i can relate to this it's written realistically. The way the two main characters meet is adorable and how they fell apart of the fear of what others might think of them is such a real life problem that many, many people of the LGBTQA+ and me can relate to. The ending fully flashed me and made me cry so extremely hard and the way they always find to each other even after their live has been over is beautiful! I can only recommend this drama it's absolutely gorgeous. The actors did a gorgeous job of acting it felt natural and very organic. I am impressed by this drama that's why i decided to write a Review I'm not a professional in any way but i hope this Review still was helpful to some or that there are people out there who can agree :)

great movie with great storyline

2nd time re-watching it and I enjoyed it again. I really love the storyline and acting are all spot on. If you love twist and turns of the great storyline, you better watch it. One of the best con movies! It's about how the con artist planned the whole operation to revenge of his father's murder. You think you know the storyline by guessing through out the movie, but you won't.. in the end. It gonna blow your mind. I always love how things are unfolded in the end and show you why and how he managed the whole operation!

This is a short film, and a very good one.

The cinematography is wonderful in this, dark but not obscured, creating a sense of claustrophobia and hopelessness.

The acting is really good, and the leads are gorgeous. The latter isn't necessary, but it sure doesn't hurt. The actors seriously committed to the love scenes - no rubber kisses or camera angles used to cheat, and it looked more natural instead of the cheesy romance-novel-cover poses you often see.

The editing was very tight and effective, and the writing was gritty and while not entirely realistic (are all guys that are customers in Light's profession that young and hot?), the story was character-driven and made sense.

This is dark subject matter, and there are things in here that are hard to watch, so if you're triggered by sexual violence, both voluntary and involuntary, this might not be for you. None of it is so bad that it's horrifying, but it's there, albeit restrained, and you don't see the full course of what happens, only enough to let you know it's happening.

A lot of people were upset by a conclusion Shuo jumped to, but remember what Light does for a living, and how many times Shuo told him to stop, yet he continued anyway. That does lead into my only criticism:

This needed to be about 5-10 minutes longer, and better set up the misunderstanding. The fact that so many people felt really upset at Shuo demonstrates that we needed to actually see a couple of the times Light lied to Shuo instead of just being told it happened. That would have given the moment more impetus and we could have sympathized with both characters.

Anyway, I highly recommend this, and I aslo recommend you go to the director's YouTube channel and watch these two guys do comedy, because they're really good at it, especially Jed. There is also a cute and funny interview with the actors there.

I gave this 9 stars in every category except Rewatch Value. There are two scenes I'm likely to watch many times, but otherwise probably not.

Did he die?

The ending of Part 3 Fallen Flowers left me a bit lost.

WARNING!!! SORTA SPOILER!

If you know the answer, please tell me. Did Haruto kill Ruka? Because I sure got that impression. Which kinda stinks, especially after the HELL Aoyama put Haruto through. Why he would still love that creeper is beyond me. That's really all I have to say, except this trilogy left me with nightmares. So don't watch if you aren't into twisted obscessions disguised as love and a heavy dose of SM. About the only good thing I can say is, the acting was pretty good. Hope the cast all get better parts to play, soon. The music wasn't bad, just emotionally misplaced. Except for the ending on the first part-which felt hollow-the rest of them the characters were gaslighting each other and the audience.
