An adorable moving love tale
It may not come real considering how scared we all are to the strangers. That’s how the world we live has become, a place full of threats and dangers with a few safe spots. Them if you put your faith and travel with this movie it does move your heart in good way. Very light with no sad moments to lighten up your day. Good watch if you aren’t gonna poke your nose into logic.Conversations and the lead chemistry will never disappoint you. It will make you crave for more ! More of their time together so that we can smile gleefully 😅
I rated it 9 since it delivers what the makers hoped for in a sincere heartfelt way !!! If you aren’t here to watch very light weight adorable love story, you should skip it.

This will sound sacrilegious, I guess, but The Final is my least favorite of the Rurouni Kenshin movies. So first, let's get that off my chest...This was meant to be a tale of revenge but instead of going deep and intense, they went blockbuster wide. In the fights, instead of simply relying on Satoh Takeru's awesomeness, they focused way too much on neck-breaking wire-work so the fights lost much of their intensity. And in order to let every character have his/her moment, the movie felt scattered.
Plot points were pulled out of the hat and dropped again without a second thought. Why did the priest have the diary that Kenshin took with him at the end of The Beginning? Did Aoshi live? And why were the Watchers even there? What was the point besides giving each a big fight? What happened to Sojiro? How did Saito and his men escape the trap?
But my main complaint: Kaoru was, once again, reduced to the role of a kidnapped love interest. Seriously, she owns a dojo but she gets knocked out more easily than Tomoe. Also, I liked her and Kenshin as a couple in the first 3 movies but here? I wish they just let them stay friends. After seeing Kenshin with Tomoe, someone who could truly grasp the darkness he faced, I found Kaoru... well, let's face it, Kaoru is way too naive and innocent to really understand what Kenshin had gone through during the war. She's kind and understanding but she will never truly get it.
And now to the good stuff!
Satoh Takeru. Just that. Satoh Takeru. In a movie that kinda lacked intensity, he had intense down to a pat. Whenever the movie just let him do his thing, it shined. Just him standing in the rain... and I was all, yeah, yup, that, this.
The last fight between Kenshin and Enishi. Specifically the moment when Kenshin let Enishi stab him. From the shock on Enishi's face, it was obvious that he didn't expect to land a hit. I think he never really wanted to kill Kenshin in the first place. Because Tomoe loved him. Enishi was furious with Kenshin - but there was the fact that Tomoe loved Kenshin. And when Kenshin first let Enishi stab him, then he apologized and then the crazy Chinese dude shot Kenshin... That wasn't what Enishi wanted.
The scene where Enishi read Tomoe's diary in his prison cell and he truly understood not only how much Tomoe loved Kenshin but why she loved him in the first place and that she died willingly and gladly for him, that her death wasn't Kenshin's fault. That moment when Enishi truly saw his sister as she had been...
The fight where Sojiro joined forces with Kenshin, the way they almost... danced around each other because their strengths and styles matched so perfectly. And Sojiro's happiness that he finally experienced what it felt like to have someone truly have his back. That did things to my heart!
So yeah, I was a bit disappointed in the movie but there were still many scenes that I will replay again and again because they were so good!

The two main characters. It is only a movie and they can only fit so much into 1.5 hours but they managed to put in a bit of back story for both of them so we get to know them quite well. They are both loyal and honest. We can understand why they care about each other.
What I didn't like:
It was a bit slow at times. A lot of the time not much was happening as the focus was on the feelings and relationships of the main leads. If this had been a drama I probably would have skipped to the end just to see how it ended. As it was only a movie I kept watching because I cared about the characters and I'm glad I did or I would have missed relevant backstory.
I'd say watch this if you like emotion driven plots and if you like only a little bit of drama and only a little bit of angst. I hope this review is helpful. If you're confused why I gave it such a high total rating, it's because I found the ending to be emotionally satisfying. All the loose ends were tied up, and it didn't have any of the things I hate when watching something.

Interesting entertainment
I don't know what it is with Japanese people but they seem to really like death games and I'm all here for it. As the Gods Will, will definitely keep you entertained throughout the whole movie with twisted "fun" games. My eyes were glued to screen and one scene had me visibly cringing into myself. The characters weren't as developed as I wished but you're here for the gore and wackiness not character depth. The acting wasn't bad, I was able to feel some of the character's horrible pain so I guess that's good. I'd want to rewatch this with friends just to see their reactions. I didn't really pay attention to the music so I don't think there's anything to be said there. Check it out for fun and even better with a group of friends!~Was this review helpful to you?

No. If I could rate this ZERO stars, I would! I stopped watching 40 minutes in. Fuck this movie. It's trash.
I hated how they made it out that oh, he is wearing female clothes, so he must be gay.
No. That isn't how that works..
I HATE Momose so gosh damn bad, he makes me want to vomit. There was nothing good or cute or sweet about this character. He honestly had to be mental. Main point being, he sexually assaulted Yashiro every chance he got. Any time Yashiro would try to run away he would literally chase him down and then threaten to blackmail him. Dude is a sick son of a bitch!! Not to mention he keeps saying he isn't gay but fetishizes Yashiro in female clothing? Bro, just watch porn. -_-
We know little to nothing about Yashiro even 40 minutes in other than his safe space and freedom no longer exist because of Momose. PTSD, anyone? -_- I feel so bad for his character honestly. It's bullshit that your one go-to peace is fucked up because of a psycho.
I really wished this movie was cute and fluffy, but it wasn't. It's a nightmare That sadly people do have happen to them. SMH

I want to start off saying this movie wasn't terrible. The storyline is actually hella creepy ... but the pace is what completely killed this movie from being what it should have been. Everything about this movie was so slow that even in the parts it could have scare you..... it didn't. The pace was boring. Even set at a higher speed that made them walk and talk like someone on speed, did absolutely nothing to help the pacing... and that's sad.
This movie went on way longer than it should have imo.
I think the only actor I didn't like was the "big bad ghost" that was in the last house that was actually there from the start. That little battle scene had me laughing so freaking hard. Nakai was blowing the incense smoke on him and all I could see was that meme of the alien with "when the toilet paper shifts mid wipe and you drag your finger through mud valley (MEME: https://img.ifunny.co/images/70b59d7dac109af0195c3b2ff59a2a5f7f57939ed958feab7f77b339d43ee753_1.jpg )
That is honestly what it looked like and I couldn't stop laughing. So I'm sorry, I can't with this movie.

A rarely told relationship story
Overall: Though I would have preferred they went about it another way, I was so happy with the way this ended (and it's practically never seen) hence the 8.5 rating. And if you like kissing with tongue, then you will be in heaven. Watched on gagaoolala.Content warnings: there are four very sexually explicit scenes - they are all consensual, 1 non con choking
What I Liked

- when Otoya's dad says Otoya is not a normal man because he's gay, Otoya tells his dad to not say discriminatory things like that
- the bartender's wisdom/lines towards the end
- a sequel to this would be amazing
Room For Improvement
- it's only 1 hour long so things are a bit choppy/jumpy/fast moving. I think they could have maybe removed a character/s and focused more on the central three.

A modern day psycho-thriller
The film is a must watch. Yang Mi’s versatility as a innocent girlfriend with a cathartic side as a woman on the verge of searching for change is clearly dauntingly present in this film, as a victim sans a villainous temptress. Chen Kun as the male lead was a realistic multi-faceted victim running amuck and an unsuspected villain in this psychological thriller was compelling to watch. The film caters to those who would prefer to be on the edge of their seats, as the sequencing and cinematic cinematography was top notch. I gave up on this movie 45 minutes in before i started to just screen jump.Personally, this wasn't horror in any way. Thriller, possibly. Mystery, sure. But all in all once it showed the kids death, I wanted to stop watching. The parents remind me of crackheads so i wouldn't put it past them to have "helped" him "commit suicide" to get the insurance money.
This was pretty much all this movie was. People killing themselves or others for insurance money.
And not going to lie, I have zero ideas who his gf/lover is. I swear it's like i blinked and suddenly she was there. Don't remember her name or where she came from.
I don't actually remember any of the characters names. I don't care to. That's how bad this movie was.
For a movie made in 99, i expected better. :/

you'll cry A LOT.. simply a masterpiece
i can never explain what i felt toward this exact movie.. i can't rllyall i can say that it was beautiful...one of the most pretty things ive ever seen in my entire life.. ill always and always and forever be thankful for those who made this movie.. this type of vibes and stories that rlly needs to be known is just ✨
this type of shows is what actually makes me feel alive and reminds me of the good side of this world..every single detail about this movie made me fall in love with it even deeper.. the acting is literally isane you can even see it through their eyes.. i will never get over this movie and im sure ill rewatch it soon.. it was one of the prettiest,most touching movies I've ever and ill ever watch

Pearl Chang Ling starred as Lu Du Shing AKA Lone Traveler Wu, the swords"man" in search of Peerless Swallow, a renowned swordsman. Poor Pearl was dressed in a wooly tunic for the length of the movie. She looked more like a vagabond than a skilled swordswoman. Violent and with a temper to match, she dispatched anyone who crossed swords with her, or just plain crossed her, ruthlessly. As per usual, everyone accepted her as a man until the shocking reveal late in the movie. Pearl did a good job playing the single-minded warrior who wanted to be free of her duty and was willing to slice her way through the kingdom to get there.
The plot was needlessly complicated by varying factions which didn't add anything to the main story. The plot revolved around Wu and Peerless Swallow's family histories and the dire consequences and burdens left to the children of swordsmen. Wu had sacrificed her entire life to become a swordswoman to fulfill her father's wishes. Chained to a sword for ten years, unable to free herself of it unless she fulfilled her mission or died trying. Ling Yun played Peerless Swallow, the object of Wu's scorn. He gave a suitably noble turn as a man who was tired of the swordsman code of endless fighting.
My Blade, My Life was shot in Taiwan. The sets were rudimentary, the costumes outlandishly bright at times. The score was forgettable except for the original Star Trek sci-fi sound effects during fights.
If they'd trimmed this movie to around 90 minutes and cut away much of the useless cast and story, I would have rated this movie higher. As it was, it dragged on too long when Pearl and Ling Yun were the heart of the story.

Not at all overrated
At first I was hesitant to watch this film because of it was based on a true story about the civil war that took place in Somalia; South Korea has had multiple issues with portraying foreign cultures after all. So hearing about this movie's plot taking place in a real historical event, though I am not part of that culture, made me uneasy. But because it got high ratings and awards, I gave in to my curiosity and gave it a go. From my observation, the film mainly focused on the 2 Korean embassies (as the title says) escaping from Mogadishu and barely touched on the details of the war going on around them.Acting was SUPERB, as expected from top actors, Zo Insung, Kim Yoonseok, and Heo Joonho. I didn't know Koo Kyohwan was in this until I saw him in the film which was a pleasant surprise as he's becoming one of my new favorite actors after watching him in D.P.
Overall, it was a really touching story of how the 2 Koreas managed to put aside their political differences to survive together through the chaos. It actually reminded me of the movie Joint Security Area. Regardless of where you're from, this film will definitely make you strongly wish for reunification between North and South Korea.
I'm still curious, though, if they accurately presented the war. I kind of hoped that they showed more of the innocent Somali people who, like the Korean characters, were also victims and also desperately tried to escape. I was just that desperate and not i regret
Well...that sucked really bad.Too fast, the relationship makes no sense, they all have the same 3 outfits, it just sucks.
- what did the surgeon show after the surgery to the FL's family ?the father's stomach ?
- if yes , why did the girl cry ?
- how did people enter so easily to hospital and why was there a fight ? What is security doing ?
- Why did he fall in love so quickly and why is he being creepy about it ?
- How many days passed for her to graduate and start uni ?
- how did she get his number ?
- How did the best friend and the ML's cousin know each other ?
- WHEN did they forgive each other ?
- So many questions i have,so little motivation to write them down
