cliche but unpredictable

●FIRST IMPRESSION
I watched this movie solely for Yoo Ah In, but it was an OK storyline. I liked the other two couples more. Kang Ha Neul's storyline was the most beautiful and touched me. Chef and Airhostess story feLT subtle and pleasant to watch. The movie is cliche but the way its executed is unpredictable. Well, the genre is rom-com I couldn’t feel the comedy as I actually didn’t get any laugh and I watched it to lighten up my mood.

●ACTING/CAST
Even though I didn't like YAI plot, I enjoyed his performance. Even if he just stares at the camera with no dialogue, I feel his emotions just like magic.
Kang Ha Neul, am not his fan but whenever I watch him he never disappoints me. anyone in his place would do the same and His eyes were filled with those gripping feelings which one cannot ignore.

●MUSIC
The composition is light and fills in more magic to the scenes especially the piano score.

●FAV SCENE
When Esom and Kang Ha Neul were walking down the road and he makes her listen to his composition.

●AFTERTHOUGHT
If the title is Like for likes there should have been more internet posts and others stuff. it didn't seem like the writers used the title to its worth.

●REWATCH
Maybe I will watch it again to understand it better or the points which I have missed. And of course for YAI.

A CAPER FILM ON ‘oil heist’ - DISASTER + TWISTS + LIGHT COMEDY

In the first place, i never did i know abt the casts... & itself was a COMPLETE SURPRISE ELEMENT 4 me

Seo In Guk, the man who never disappoints! COMPLETELY SPEECHLESS - with long hair - damn handsome (Wears suits at the beginning of de flim ). LEE SOO HYUK him being the villain soared his hotness level to the moon. I love this duo working together sm ...hahah

VERDICT - Although the concept of “stealing oil” is new, the film follows the same old equation of caper movies; The team completes the operation successfully after several immediate crises. Led by SEO IN GUK, the team members clash now and then due to different understandings and interests. In particular, Jeop Sae, who only pursues his own interests, plays a troublemaker who gets on Pin Driller’s nerves. But, the bigger issue lies outside of the team. Gun Woo doesn’t give a thing about how things are in the team. So, in the end, the team unite as one force against the common enemy during their crisis.

well this was a WTF ending - but knowing there is a sequel, i guess it was planned all along - and that's why this just cut off at the end, but as the 2nd part was made a yr later, that's quite a while to wait if ur curious.. oh well it is what it is -

first off didn't really want to watch this, considering the content - as I aint into BDSM, heck i hate pain and the though of dominating anyone makes me feel "its too much work for the pay-out..." the tough of being dominated, even more ridiculous. so was on the fence going in - but bored and was just looking for anything to watch, so clicked and this was fun - think cause both the mains r so innocent and there aint no sinister - abuser/user taking advantage of a weak injured soul helped elevate this from something dark to light and even wholesome..

seeing these two teens venture into unknown territory was funny and cute to watch - and the fact that there were genuine feelings involved made this feel almost like a romance with a light BDSM twist. so cute and fun - u don't need to be an enthusiast to enjoy this

Seo In Guk & Lee Soo Hyuk Chemistry

It was when I watched them in Boss In the Mirror (Korean Variety Show) that I decided to watch this movie. First, I have loved their chemistry off and on camera, especially In Guk and Soo Hyuk's. I will be lying if I said it was not their looks that captivated me because, in all honesty, it really played a vital role. Though, other than their looks, they are also both good at acting, and watching them on one screen is such a gift to all viewers. I was really glad I get to watch them both here and in the Korean drama Doom at Your Service. Lee Soo Hyuk's character here is very unlikeable but I can't bring myself to hate him, he looked too good to be hated. Lol. Plus, I really loved him in DAYS almost that it overpowers his role here. Of course, Seo In Guk will always offer us good acting no matter what his role is. This is now my new favorite character of his, next to his bad-boy self in The Smile in Your Eyes.

The story was okay but it isn't impressive enough to be embedded in one's mind. Actually, I think it's the actors that carried the movie. Not sure if that was intentional. The casting was good and the teamwork is better. I like everyone even the villain. lol. Oh, and I will never forget to commend the actions, I'm always impressed with how they direct the action scenes.

All in all, just a personal opinion, my 2 hours did not go to waste. I couldn't say it was worth it but still, I had a good watch.

a love story somewhere in between lighthearted and deep

To be honest, after watching the trailor, I've been expecting this movie to be more deep and more heartwrecking as it actually was. The problem: Putting 15 years (!!) of story into 2 hours doesn't allow you to go into depth. That's why I wish this was a drama instead of a movie.

But, I guess that was my only problem with this. The story had its deepness, but it just felt rushed, I always felt like we were jumping through all these different years and different stages of a relationship. I really missed the "giving us something to remember" thing that makes movies for me more outstanding and special.

What I really need to mention: FL's crying scenes. Hands down, I think those were the best crying scenes I've ever seen from any actor/actress anywhere. My heart shattered when she cried, and I'm not even such an emotional person... :(
Also: Many touching scenes without being too dramatic. Saying more would be a spoiler, but many scenes were just beautiful, mainly protrayed by the cinematography.

So: Not 2 hours to regret, a movie that's neither lighthearted nor heartwrecking. A little plus: Li RongHao's ending theme song and the song "Tong Hua" they included in one of my favorite scenes.

well talk about psychological mind f*ck - this that, on steroids. what can i say other then this infuriating - both Jungo and Hana Very messed-up individual's and u can debate about the why, from now to kingdom come - the fact that they messed-up(!) doesn't change - let alone them committing murder to keep living the way they were living.

sadly there's nothing here incomprehensible - the only bit that bothered me - well other then the blood bath scene, was like a WTF moment, as it didn't seem like their first time, that would be indictive off a loss of innocence or the slaughter of the familial bond or some such... maybe it was prophetic?!? going to show what was to come? the blood lust in them? idk, so back to the start of my sentence and what i wanted to point out - the first scene where they meet - Jungo asks Hana "where her family is" not parents, not identifying them by name, nor her for that matter - so i was sure they not related in the least and he just knowing she had no kin alive, found a good victim to train/adopt... and he did a "great" job - considering how f*cked-up she turned out -

Oshio was a good person, but i didn't get him enabling a man he said "wasn't good enough to have a family", raise a child that had just lost everything?!? and after him finding out, that was too late - him trying to take her out of the situation - like what was the point of running after her?!? the sec he ran after her i knew he wouldn't make it - stupid move, considering her reaction. not that it was justifiable in anyway - that's why the end left me infuriated, cause she out there now moving onto other men messing with them, as she will never be normal. bottom line this one messed-up puppy

MY BOYS :)

This was an absolutely amazing movie, like better than what I was expecting. Gameboy's was a series that I watched on a whim and really didn't think much of because most Pinoy BL's I've seen have been pretty average. BUT I actually thought the series was really well done for a series that takes place during Quarantine AND most likely on a tight budget. It had a very very cute story and the acting is just superb. Kokoy and Elijah have really good chemistry in my opinion. This movie was EVEN BETTER than the series itself because now we actually got to see how the actors physically interact with each other in person and it did not disappoint me. I feel like they fed off each others energies really well and it seemed like they had all actually been friends for a really long time.
Let me not forget about the sex scene between Kokoy and Elijah. It was honestly one of the best sex scenes in all BL. I haven't seen a scene like this where they switch roles mid sex. I like that they put something in there like that because it's a bit more unique to the BL drama scene. Plus, the way it was filmed was absolutely alluring and beautiful.
I really enjoyed this entire movie from beginning to end. The music was great, the acting was great, the filming was great, the location was great, the lighting was great. I really don't know how else to express it.
I will be watching this again.

sad movie - great acting but freakin sad... and as much as i would like to ask "is it right to start a relationship when ur dying, losing ur mind or both..." i feel like in this instance it was more two lost soul latching onto each other, to keep from drowning -

the fact that Chan Hae wasn't with a life threatening disease, doesn't mean he was in a better place in life. that's why in-spite of it not being a great idea, he let his emotions in finding a kindred spirits rule out thoughts like, "is this a good idea", and he just did what felt right - same with Ryoko, she didn't reach out to him when she was coherent but lost and desperate, turning to the one person that was a safe haven she recognized - that didn't preach or talk down to her - but was there for her, no questions asked...

the end of the relationship was a given, and so was both their reactions - he couldn't walk away cause he genuinely cared, and if u love how can u walk away unaffected knowing the suffering awaiting the person u love?!? on her part, she wanted while she was coherent enough to do the right thing - not to turn into a burden he might come to regret - as she had previous knowledge cause of her own mothers suffering's. so they both were hurting and sad and ultimately that helped him grow as a person, let alone find something he wanted to do in life..

of course a happily ever after would be perfect, but "going in" everyone knows this will have a sad ending, as they know they will tear-up and cry - but it was a bittersweet moment throughout this movie

Killing Gives Birth to Hatred, and Hatred Kills In Its Turn

Himura Kenshin is a samurai and former assassin who has killed countless times. He soon discovers that each time he kills, it costs him a piece of himself.

Vowing to live by a new code. A code in which he refuses to kill, Kenshin becomes a very unorthodox and yet inspiring character who uses his incredible fighting skills to help those who can't fight or defend themselves.

The Wanderer finds himself coming across young Miss Kaoru who owns a fencing dojo. Her dojo is wanted the new town bureaucrat who finds that in the new Japan, money is power. Not the samurai. He buys what he wants, and sends his own paid thugs and assassins to deal with those who refuse to sell.

Kenshin finds his new vow tested to its limits. For someone who has killed countless times, what's one more? And what does it matter if it's done to protect or save someone?

The fighting choreography is probably the best I've ever seen. The speed and skillset of each move is so lightning-quick that if you blink, you'll miss a sequence.

And yet this movie is so much deeper than a mere "samurai/martial arts" film. It's about love. It's about redemption. And it's about realizing that it's never too late to change. "No one is not worthy" Kenshin reminds one of his opponents. He's not only speaking about his foe, but also reminding himself that he's not lost.

The best pearl of wisdom is spoken to the high police official who believes that Kenshin is insane for applying a code that--in his mind--is ludicrous and can't possibly work. Kenshin replies, "Killing gives birth to hatred, and hatred kills in its turn. To break that chain, I carry a sword that will not kill." Indeed, Kenshin carries a blade that is backwards to help him prevent killing.

This series is simply a work of art. It has mystical elements, bordering on the "superhero" genre, but at its core, it's about the power of justice. There are elements of humor as well as a lot of flamboyance, but I believe that this is intentional, as I'm guessing that manga series it hails from is much the same.

I watched "The Beginning" and "The Final" before Netflix finally gave us the other three films. So far, none of these films have disappointed me at all. Two hours and twenty minutes seem to fly by.

watch for you not because someone told you so

Don't watch because people are saying it is a masterpiece because then you are going into it with really high expectations.

I really loved everything about the message.
You can take a lot away from the movie, whether you are the rich or the poor. And how no matter your class, human beings use each other. Does not matter if it's for the good or bad, people use, lie, and cheat to better themselves. It's really heartbreaking to watch but it needs to be talked about.

Also everytime I rewatch the movie, I never fail to cry at the end.

“Am I the same today, as I was yesterday?”

The main female lead is played by Han Hyo-Joo, (guessed she is a little similar 2 the 1 from W: 2 Worlds...hahah) Main character, Woo-Jin, changes bodies every day, the actors/actresses that portrays the character also changes very frequently. This movie had a different approaches in manifesting the idea. This is a adaptation & not a replica-

That being said, almost every one of the “Woo-Jin” is a top star.(COMPLETE SURPRISE 4 MEE) From Park Seo-Joon to Park Shin-Hye, to Lee Dong-Wook and Lee Jin-Wook, there’s a total of over 100 actors and actresses, ranging in varying ages, gender, nationality, and essentially every aspect of life.

Definitely something u need 2 watch if you love drama/romance films, or Korean films in general. Because the movie features such a wide range of great cast members, you’re bound to find an actor/actress you like in the film.

Amazing cinematography, plot and acting also very good.

Movie is not perfect but the cinematography is to be praised for. For me, it's one of the best aspects of the movie. I also find the movie's concept of where an ancestor is buried on having an impact to their living descendants' life and fortune
It shouldn't have been a spoiler if you know the real history that Heungseon's son became king, but as I chose to ignore the real history, Heungseon being revealed to be a cunning man planning to take the opposite sides of Kim Jwa Geun and the royal king to fight for his own son to be king is quite a surprise.
Another great plot twist that I didnt expect was the irony of Kim Jwa Geun being buried by his son. Here is a man who would do a lot of evil deeds, like burying his dead dad above royal tombs, for his family's fortune, only to have his own son kill him since son feels a greater fortune for him i achieved if his own living father is buried (dead) in the best place as well.
I watched this since its the last Moon Chae Won historical work I haven't seen, and though her scenes are minimal, she's really good in playing her part as a gisaeng. Indeed, she also excelled in her heavy scenes, especially her death scene. But, of course, the best actors in this drama are Jo Seung Woo and Ji Sung. It's so great to see Baek Yoon Shik as a villain again here, I loved his special appearamce in Tree with Deep Roots. Kim Sung Kyun, Yoo Jae Myung and the rest of the cast are also great.
Music is not memorable but fits well in the movie.
Movie is an 8.5 for me.
