MASTERPIECE WITHIN MASTERPIECES!!!!
The intensity of the scenes of this drama is absolutely insane... And the BGM elevates every moment to another level! Genuinely giving me goosebumps 🔥Peak cinematography!! The writing, visual storytelling, music, and overall execution come together so perfectly that every scene feels like a carefully crafted cinematic experience⚡
I had previously watched Veil of Shadows on Netflix, and I was already blown away by the director’s writing, cinematography, background scores, plot twists, character arcs, and performances... Watching this series, I can immediately see that same creative vision coming through again🔥💥
The slow-motion sequences, camera angles, framing, and especially the actors’ expressions are absolutely on point... What makes this director stand out is the way even seemingly simple scenes are given so much creativity and emotional weight...Scenes that could easily have been shot in a straightforward manner are instead presented with such deliberate visual choices that their impact becomes completely different💯
"Every frame feels intentional. Every shot has a purpose. Every expression communicates something beyond the dialogue."
It’s not just good filmmaking it’s the kind of visual storytelling that makes you stop and appreciate the craft behind every single scene🤌 I genuinely feel like I’ve discovered a masterpiece within masterpieces!!!!!! 🤯🔥

Without their chemistry, would this even be something watchable?
There was something so wonderful about the natural comfort and familiarity they had with each other. To know someone in this way and have them know you the same removes all normal pretense. It is a beautiful and uncomfortable thing. And I truly appreciate that they made my girl an actual adult. The only story here happened under their roof. The rest of the plot (the non-them plot) was shit from the butt on the periphery.
Other than serving as a catalyst for events in these two’s lives, what true purpose did it serve? The crime plot was truly the weakest link of this drama down to final episodes. They didn’t bother developing it - the story sort of just skirted around the whole thing until we got to the climax and then suddenly, we’re plunged head first into nonsense. It’s like someone told them they needed a conflict outside of the leads’ relationship and they begrudgingly threw this plot in. It also felt like that part of the plot wasn’t even about this story - like they were making a point about something outside the drama.

You're gonna cry out of anger
I knew that this movie was based on a real case, but nothing could have prepared me for this.Do not start this movie if you are not ready to cry out of anger. The acting, the production, the way everyone plays their role, each detail is on point and perfect—but the movie is brutally honest and graphic about what happened to those children. I think everybody should watch it at least once in their life, but you will never be able to watch it twice. I know for a fact I can’t.
What makes Silenced so devastating—and what proves how brilliant of a film it actually is—is how deeply it makes you feel the rage. You don't just watch this movie; you endure it. You come out of it crying your eyes out, furious at the absolute injustice of it all. It exposes the ugly reality of what happens when people in positions of power exploit the most vulnerable members of society. Watching disabled children—who are already at such a massive disadvantage—get victimized by a corrupt system is utterly disgusting, and the film portrays that sickening abuse of power with zero sugarcoating.
It leaves you questioning the entire Korean legal system and how easily justice can be bought, buried, or ignored. It is a traumatizing watch, but that is precisely why it is so crucial. Watching Silenced shouldn't just be recommended; it should be a national necessity. It forces you to look at a horrifying truth that demands to be remembered, even if it leaves you completely shattered by the time the credits roll.

Two Stories. One Love. Deep in.
This year’s top BL — one that grabs you from the very first minutes and doesn’t let go until the very end. A brilliant premise, with two stories unfolding side by side, gradually merging as the series progresses because, at their core, they are so similar — the love between two men, even though each story approaches it in a different way. This series is truly captivating, bold, and emotional. For such young actors, it must have been a huge challenge, but they handled it brilliantly. I’m sure I’ll return to it again — it has real depth.

I finally got to finish this series after more than two tries. There was something about the vibe or the script in the first four episodes that kept me from engaging with the story. Although I loved the high quality and EmiBonnie's natural beauty and chemistry, I originally had to drop it.Now that I have completed it, I feel the series could have been better. While I was totally immersed in the plot, Nene's constant "I want to destroy their happiness" attitude—specifically targeting Khem's kids when they were clearly already unhappy—was very irritating. Instead of making a logical, more impactful move, she chose to break emotional bonds. This didn't make her character enjoyable at all; she was just as bad as Khem.
Pam agreeing with Nene's revenge plan without insisting on knowing Nene's backstory felt diabolical. Even if Pam wanted revenge, she should have known better. Furthermore, the fact that Dokrak easily forgave—or rather, accepted—Pam was another breaking point for me.
On a positive note, I totally LOVED View as Oat. I really wanted to see more of OatNene. Mim slayed her role, too; I think this cold look suits her much better than a sweet or lovely one.
Kawi is a character with so much emotional baggage; he seriously needs a long break from the family drama. For some reason, I actually disliked Orn more than Khem. She lets her husband have mistresses and is perfectly fine with it as long as her reputation isn't damaged. What kind of mother is that?! She needed her 19 or 20-year-old kid, Rak, to grow up and point out how disgusting and shameful her husband's actions were and how the other mistresses' children were being treated badly. Oof!
In the end, despite how much I loved the chemistry, something about the vibe and overall style of the series prevented me from fully enjoying it as entertainment.

My willingness suspension of disbelief refused to bend the knee hence it was a disaster watch for me
It all started when the1. The Lion Roar Tiger Gang Bang kept appearing in public and escaping with guards running two inches behind them in slow mo, fgs it was ridiculous. I disconnected every single time, I know why it's like that plotwise but the disconnect was instant everytime. Plot fault.
2. That Shen Zhishu has a total of three expressions, it reached a point where I knew the face he was going to make even before he made it and was never disappointed. I think I've seen this guy somewhere before and his acting and stylish in this drama is the same from the last place I saw him, directors fault.
3. Tinghui getting drugs shoved in her face at the edge of that clip was unbelievable, and Huang Bo going the way he did and the chief surviving that fall only to be stabbed the way he did had me asking Google if I was missing glasses for TV, cause a lot of what I was seeing wasn't making sense, eh. Because Huang Bo was tattered and Almighty Gang Bang Chief turned out okay, I know I know cliff Falls are the way they are but nah...it didn't work here. Plot fault.
4. See that Right Counselor, every single time he showed up on screen, all I could see were his eyes that always looked like they were swimming in liquid and there's something on his throat! Like he has 2 Adam apples but the other one gave up coming out halfway, I nearly whipped out my magnifying glass just to be sure.
This has taught me a lesson, I'm never going to watch another drama if my willing suspension refuse to bend the knee again, I'll just drop it and respect myself and the screw.
Although this was a fail with me, it's a solid 8 nonetheless in terms of cinematography, costumes, set, fight choreography but some of the characters were straight up butchered, that Meng Tinghui would talk tough and then get squared by some random hooligan that kidnaps her every other episode, she just couldn't choose a struggle most times, phew. That suspension of disbelief is really underestimated y'all.

interesting cute drama, def filmed couple years ago.
this was cute, I really don't have any complaints other than the sounds not matching. the worms towards the end were hilarious, it was way too cartoony. but all in all it was a very cute drama but the ending kinda drove me nuts, it was filmed a couple years ago, so there being a second season, I kinda doubt. hopefully I'm wrong because that was a massive cliffhanger, I feel like it could have just ended with them being happy (I liked the couple but Shisi was my fav even if he had motives lol) but they had to end it with the bad that that I thought died, to only show up at the end and bringing back some chick that looked like the fl for her to say some lines all evil like and then it cuts off. and what's weird is after fl saved ml (he didn't care that she may die? he didn't say a word lmao) they're back at palace and he said she is asleep for them to cut it to the bad guy and chick ending. and what about the emporer?! like if they don't have a second season, I would stop watching around ep 18 or so. so other then that wacky ending and the cartoony worms, it was a cute drama that I enjoyed for a time waste. so other then that wacky ending and the cartoony worms, it was a cute drama that I enjoyed.¿Te ha parecido útil esta reseña?

Frustrating Script, Great Acting
Despite the leads being quite frustrating throughout the series, I still enjoyed watching it. The acting was one of the highlights of the series. Both couples, the elderly and young couple, had plenty of chemistry. However, the script fell short when it came to the female lead character, who is supposed to be at least in her 30s. Despite all that, I’d recommend this drama to anyone who enjoys middle-aged slice-of-life stories.¿Te ha parecido útil esta reseña?
First Impression: Ash
Overall: I was a bit worried about their dynamic in episode 1 around 34 minutes, but I'm feeling more settled now and can't wait to see what happens. Airing on Youku https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dPaeoMTI75sContent Warnings: (I'm keeping this spoiler free for now but there are several major ones in episode 1 and 2)
What I Liked
- chemistry & dynamic
- intimacy
- mystery
- a character is good at his job
Room For Improvement
- I was nervous in episode 1 around 34 minutes, but towards the end of episode 2 I was satisfied with the conversation, remains to be seen if a character keeps his word
- some of the editing

Loved the Cast!
The whole cast of both major and minor characters had great chemistry together! Not all of the songs and dances were great but there were plenty of songs and dances that were, and the storyline kept evolving at a great pace. You can easily tell that this had a very 90s feel to it especially with the outfits which were still quite amazing. The ending left me slightly frustrated with Sam Dong and Hae Mi but was so well done that I can’t actually get mad about it. All in all I really enjoyed watching this!¿Te ha parecido útil esta reseña?

Animal Abused
The gangster boss killed the Arwana fish after broke the aquarium. The movie is good, it is a comedy romantic movie. But, the scene when the gangster boss broke the aquarium and kill the real fish ruin everything. The story maker should think about it. Hopefully he/she read this comment and make a sorry statement.

Lmao.
Part of "The Beauty Inside" series which originally was an American web-series, then adapted into a movie starring Han Hyo-joo, and lastly this kdrama series which is frankly, to me, the worst of them. The body swapping is more like an annoying oddity that significantly complicates her life rather than something truly meaningful.

One action leads decades of pain
The story was good, the characters were complex and sad. One action from a bully lead to decades of pain for the victim and loss. Being arrogant and thinking your beyond the law will always lead to your downfall. When your moto is weak gets eaten up and it just business, you better make sure you have the stuff to back it up because no one can stay on top forever, there will always be someone to take your place at the top. Revenge is best served stages and it can’t be rushed. The music for this series was exceptional.¿Te ha parecido útil esta reseña?
