Le scénario est classique… mais ce duo vaut le détour !!!

Franchement, je ne savais pas trop à quoi m'attendre en lançant "Husbands in Action"… et au final, j'ai passé un super moment 🤣🫶🏻

On y suit deux hommes qui n'ont absolument rien en commun. D'un côté, un ancien policier au caractère bien trempé. De l'autre, un vétérinaire aussi gentil que maladroit. Leur seul point commun ?!? Ils ont tous les deux aimé la même femme ❤️

Lorsque celle-ci disparaît mystérieusement avec leur fille, ils sont obligés de faire équipe malgré eux pour partir à leur recherche. Et forcément… entre les poursuites, les bagarres, les chamailleries permanentes et les situations complètement absurdes, leur mission ne va pas être de tout repos 🤣💥

Honnêtement, c'est clairement leur duo qui fait tout le charme du film. Sur le papier, l'idée de réunir l'ex-mari, ancien flic, avec le nouveau mari, vétérinaire fan de sports extrêmes, pouvait juste être un "gimmick"… mais ça fonctionne vraiment. Ils passent leur temps à se lancer des piques, à se disputer pour un rien et à se mettre dans des situations improbables... Petit à petit, une vraie complicité s'installe entre eux, et c'est un régal à suivre 😭.

Le film assume totalement son côté complètement barré 🤡. Il ne cherche jamais à devenir un thriller sérieux ou réaliste. Ici, tout est prétexte à l'humour : les dialogues, les bagarres, les poursuites, les kidnappings… Franchement, ça m'a rappelé les vieux "buddy movies" du style "Rush Hour", où le plaisir vient surtout du duo principal plutôt que de l'intrigue elle-même 😂.

Le scénario, lui, reste assez classique. On devine facilement où l'histoire va nous emmener et il n'y a pas vraiment de gros retournements de situation. Mais honnêtement… je m'en fichais un peu 😅. Le rythme est super efficace, les 1h40 passent à toute vitesse et je ne me suis jamais ennuyée.

Et puis il faut quand même parler de Si Nae 🤣. Je ne vais pas juger ses goûts amoureux hein… mais il faut reconnaître qu'ils sont particulièrement… éclectiques 😂. D'un côté, un ancien policier au tempérament explosif. De l'autre, un vétérinaire tout gentil qui ferait presque plus penser à son fils qu'à son rival 😭. Honnêtement, ce décalage m'a fait rire plus d'une fois et rend leurs chamailleries encore plus savoureuses.

Ce que j'ai aussi apprécié, c'est que derrière cette comédie complètement assumée se cache finalement un joli message sur les familles recomposées ❤️. Au-delà des gags et de l'action, le film parle surtout d'accepter l'autre, de dépasser son ego et de comprendre qu'une famille peut prendre différentes formes. Je ne m'attendais pas forcément à retrouver ce petit côté touchant dans un film aussi déjanté.

Bref, je ne vous promets pas le film de l'année… mais je peux vous promettre une chose... pendant 1h40, impossible de s'ennuyer 🤣🫶🏻. C'est drôle, rythmé, complètement assumé dans son délire… et parfois, c'est exactement le genre de film dont on a besoin ✌🏻

Your Dear Daddy (2026) is a romantic comedy BL series that tells the story of Saithan, a young man who carries emotional scars from past relationships and no longer believes in love, and Sila, the owner of a farm and hotel. The two meet and begin their relationship as a one-night stand, which eventually becomes the starting point of a much deeper story.
The series is available on IQIYI.
For me, the story develops at a steady pace and does a good job of establishing the characters and their personal struggles. The relationship between the leads progresses naturally, and the overall storytelling is easy to follow.
However, after finishing the series, I felt that something was missing. While the story itself was enjoyable, the ending did not feel completely satisfying to me. It felt as if some elements were left unresolved, leaving me with the impression that the story was not fully complete. This was the main reason why I lowered my overall score.
The acting is one of the strongest aspects of the series. The cast delivers natural and believable performances, making it easy to connect with the characters and their emotions throughout the story.
The production quality is also commendable. The cinematography, visual composition, lighting, color palette, and soundtrack all work together very well to create the right atmosphere for each scene. These elements help enhance the emotions and overall viewing experience.
My favorite aspect of the series is definitely the filming locations. The scenery is absolutely beautiful, especially the farm and garden settings. These locations add a great deal of charm to the series and make many scenes visually memorable.
Overall, Your Dear Daddy has several strengths, particularly its acting performances and production quality. While I felt that certain aspects of the story were not as complete as l had hoped, the cast and production team did enough to make the series enjoyable to watch.
Final Rating: 6/10
These are simply my personal opinions. If you're interested, I would still recommend giving the series a try on IQIYI.

10/10 Retaking the examination of life, pass or fail?

For those who are wondering if its a BI, nope. Waking up as one's younger self, how wishful.... yet if given a chance anyone would want to return and mend their regretful actions. Cast for this series, renowned people of the agency, have delivered a flawless performance. I loved the high school scene where veterans donned uniforms, making 1965 liners look adorable. Prikhing and Ploy were together again uwu... please someone heed my prayers and cast them in a GI with tungsten content. Ever since the flop 'My gear, Your gown, Phagun and Pawin have appeared in multiple series in supporting roles. I think they should be offered script which can easily mold into their regular self, ie; Pawin played well in Eclipse while i liked Phagun in10 years ticket. Art team has worked hard to portray the backdrops from both time lines. I wouldn't suggest this drama to everyone because it needs a broken heart cured with a coupe of wine to relish such profound narratives. Khaotung's soundtrack was rather too peppy compared to theme. Story being slow paced might test your patience so if you r just curious as to what caused them to turn 15 at 55, here's the answer- Xerox machine.
Their ID card photos got photoshopped a little during copying (no logic) Every character meets a comforting end by the last episode that brings viewers a thought for the day,

10/10 my own opinions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Up until now, l've watched 2 episodes, and everything looks amazing-from the script to the acting. P'Runch, played by Lingling, is portrayed with incredible depth and nuance. It's clear from these two episodes that the script has been adjusted to give P'Runch more screen time and room to shine. I really have to applaud Ling; her emotional acting in Episode 1 was phenomenal, and her voice diction has visibly improved so much. As for N'Neen, this role suits Orm perfectly, and she is absolutely killing it. Lastly, P'Kik as P'Runch's mother is just unmatched-l honestly can't think of anyone else who could pull off this character so flawlessly.
I'm highly anticipating the upcoming episodes!

◍Complex romance: The relationship begins as a political marriage between two wounded people who slowly learn to love each other. Their romance feels earned through shared hardships rather than instant attraction.
◍Political intrigue: Court conspiracies, succession struggles, and strategic maneuvering give the story substance beyond romance. The revenge plot unfolds through intelligence and planning rather than constant action.
◍High production quality: The costumes, sets, and cinematography create an elegant historical atmosphere that suits the story.
◍Music/OSTs: The music in **The First Jasmine** is elegant, emotional, and perfectly complements the historical setting. The orchestral score and traditional Chinese instruments enhance both the romantic and dramatic moments without overpowering the story. Overall, the soundtrack is memorable and helps deepen the emotional impact of the series.
❎Weaknesses
◍I feel like they didn't fully utilize some of the characters. They had the potential to play much more important roles in the story, but their characters ended up being wasted.
◍Towards the ending episodes, it felt like they had cut a lot of scenes. For example, in the last episode, just when Ye Li was about to kiss Mo Xiu Yao, the scene was cut. The fight between Mo Xiu Yao and Mo Jingli also felt heavily edited, as if several parts were removed.
👩🏻Actresses👨🏻Actors/ Characters
◍Bai Lu was incredible in this drama. I was already a big fan of hers, but this drama made me appreciate her acting on a much deeper level. Her character, Ye Li, was so complex and beautifully portrayed.Through Ye Li, I laughed, cried, celebrated her victories, and even felt satisfied when she got her revenge. And when she finally got her happy ending, I was genuinely happy for her. It really felt like I experienced all of her emotions and pain alongside her. 🥹💖
◍Ryan Cheng also did an incredible job. I'd already watched some of his previous dramas, so I was really happy to see him paired with Bai Lu. Their chemistry was amazing. 🥹✨His character was incredibly intense and carried so much grief on his shoulders. I loved watching him slowly let go of the pain, melt the ice around his heart, and gradually open up to and accept Ye Li. Their relationship developed so naturally, and it was one of my favorite parts of the drama. ❤️
◍Cai Zhengjie also did a great job. I'd seen him in a few mini-dramas before, so I was happy to see him in this role. However, I personally feel that they didn't make full use of his character, Mo Jingli. He had so much more potential, but the drama never fully explored it. At first, I really didn't like Mo Jingli, but as the story progressed, I actually started feeling sorry for him. He deserved so much more. Yes, he was a calculated person from childhood, but I believe his circumstances shaped him into that person. He wasn't born a villain—the situations he went through turned him into one. He lost his father, his position, the woman he loved, and in the end, even his life. And all of it happened because of one power-hungry Empress Dowager. Yes, he was wrong for killing innocent people and wasn't worthy of becoming emperor, but I still believe he at least deserved the chance to kill the Empress Dowager with his own hands.
◍I also feel like they wasted Han Mingxi's character. I was really looking forward to Lin Muran's performance because I'd seen him in *POJ*, where I absolutely loved his acting. Unfortunately, his character didn't get enough screen time or a meaningful storyline, which was quite disappointing.
◍Well, at first I didn't really like the emperor. I thought he wasn't worthy of the throne and even hoped someone else would become emperor. I also felt that he couldn't rule without relying on the Empress Dowager. But towards the end, he completely proved me wrong. He showed that he truly was worthy of the throne and had the qualities of a wise and capable emperor.
◍One thing I really didn't like was how they handled the Empress Dowager's ending. I wanted Ye Li to take her final revenge herself, but instead, they let the Empress Dowager die peacefully while feeling guilty. I really didn't understand why Ye Li suddenly became soft-hearted when it was finally time to kill her and complete her revenge. That part made no sense to me because almost everything that happened in the story was caused by that power-hungry Empress Dowager. After everything Ye Li had suffered because of her, I honestly felt the Empress Dowager deserved to face the consequences of her actions directly at Ye Li's hands.

💜Final verdict
The First Jasmine is best suited for viewers who enjoy intelligent protagonists, court politics, emotional character development, and romances built on trust and less misunderstandings. If you're expecting constant action, it may feel slow, but if you appreciate layered storytelling and character-driven historical dramas, it's one of the stronger Chinese costume dramas released this year.

This series had literally everything that No other BL had or has and will ever have. I"ve watched so many BLs in the past couple of years but I have to say, this is by far my favorite BL as it is literally about everyday people that have never been represented well in other BL series. They were always made fun of or were put in the series for comic relief (i.e. LBC, 2gether and etc...) those side characters were given the chance to shine through this series and I am so glad it was made. The actors are crazy amazing. Each character has a place in my heart.
The relationship between the couples are one of the healthiest and cutest I have ever come across. The way the Never hold grudges or if they did something wrong, they are ready to apologize and talk it out. No break ups in this series and that is another thing that makes this series different. If there is a misunderstanding, then it is literally covered by the next episode and not dragged out.
If you've been holding out in watching this, this is your sign to watch it! People saying "it's cringy or would've liked it if they made the romance comfortable to watch" comfortable for who? A lot of people have been conditioned to be the only compatible Love in BL has to include toxic masculine energy and has to be aggressive and etc... so they literally don't understand how a relationship between these main lead actors is possible as if they don't deserve love.
Before reading the negative comments on this series, please watch it for yourself and be the judge of it because this series is directed towards the Lgbtq+ community, it's not like other BL series that is catered for fujoshi.

From the very first episode, this series completely pulled me in. The opening episodes do an excellent job of introducing the characters and establishing relationships that immediately make you care about their journey. What I appreciated most is that the series isn’t afraid to explore complicated emotions. The romantic tension, misunderstandings, and emotional conflicts add depth to the story, making every challenge feel like an important step toward the characters’ growth. Rather than being frustrating, the drama gives each relationship more meaning and makes the emotional payoff even more satisfying.

The love triangle adds excitement without overshadowing the heart of the story, and every character has their own emotional journey that contributes to the overall narrative. The performances are convincing, making it easy to understand each character’s motivations and become invested in their happiness.

The final episodes deliver a touching conclusion filled with hope, forgiveness, and personal growth. By the time the story reached its ending, I felt that every emotional moment had been worthwhile. This is the kind of series that makes you laugh, feel anxious, smile, and ultimately leaves you with a warm heart. A beautifully crafted romance with memorable characters, strong chemistry, and an emotional journey that stays with you long after it ends. An easy and well-deserved 10/10.

Overall, a good series. As with many BL series, the long inexplicable separation can be frustrating, but having patience helps. A 10-year separation is a little too unrealistic, and would make more sense if it were a 2 or 3 year separation.
The one complaint I'd have is in the production, where there are several examples where Phupha's hairstyle and clothing seem to change from one scene to the next, when they should be only minutes apart in the timeline. Apparently scenes are not filmed in order, and not enough attention is paid to keeping everything consistent for the timeline? | have to keep asking "is that the same person?" With a little imagination, yes, it is.

Read the description in the previous review by Barka, l' just emphasize that the story must have been invented and written by the devil himself. We are in a time when the world did not wish other people, we are in the time of a Chinese clan operating in the territory of Siam, and the intrigues are so terrible, so surprising and every ten minutes they turn in a way that you do not expect. Absolutely no boredom, grown-up, no school kids. I thought to myself, I'll take a look at the first part and then I'll probably wait for the translation to be completed, but somehow it's still not happening, and after the first part, which is such an introductory piece, I just took a look at the second part. But that was a mistake! There it started in such a way that ! devoured the series in three days. And that it is a pack, 17 parts of 70 to 75 minutes each! In addition to the intrigues and surprising plot twists, it is also a sky-high drama, mystical and sometimes even tragic (see the mushrooms), but that doesn't bother me, I also don't blame fairy tales for the story because they are partly fictional, everything was done so that the viewer, especially Thai, he didn't get bored.
