Good at Giving Advice Not so Good at Following her Own Advice
My Rating: 9.5/10If you like good solid romances that start with two characters who don’t necessarily like each other but move from enemies to frenemies, to friends to lovers, this is a great pick. The Female Lead (Yeon Bo-ra) and Male Lead (Lee Soo-hyuk) have excellent chemistry that makes their slow-burn progression feel natural and satisfying.
It also hits the spot if you’re interested in break-up tropes, self-help type characters or dating counselors who have to face their own messy love lives. The show handles a lot of it with real levity and funny moments, which keeps things from getting too heavy. I would absolutely recommend True to Love, I’d watch it again, and it’s earned a permanent spot in my library of must-watch romances.
Spoilers
Watching the Female Lead (Yeon Bo-ra) belittle herself with her ex was cringe to the next level. The begging him to take her back and saying she would just ignore his cheating felt second-hand embarrassing. My daughter, my 30-something drama-watching buddy, especially had a hard time with those parts and it almost made her quit watching. Her personal style is that she doesn’t grovel on anything. I’m more the hopeless romantic who has made an idiot out of myself over some guys, so we had very different responses. It was a bit much though, even for me, given her background as a dating coach. Still, I know we often give the best advice to others that we never take ourselves, and that theme really landed for me.
The ex of the Male Lead (Lee Soo-hyuk) was just mean. Yes, he was a little emotionally distant, but that didn’t excuse her starting a relationship with someone else and saying every vile thing she could think of when she broke up with him. And given some of the things she said about Bo-ra, she just wasn’t a very nice person. I was actually glad she went through with her marriage and left because she felt toxic to me.
And man, some of Bo-ra’s friends. I’m like girl, you need to re-think who you befriend. The girl at the wedding where she was told to think of the champagne glass as a prop? Why would you even associate with someone so mean-spirited? Her really good friend/bestie (Lee Yoo-jeong) had her moments too. She sided with the Male Lead (Lee Soo-hyuk) one time and threw Bo-ra under the bus, which frustrated me.
Then that event Bo-ra hosted where she went off on her fans — peak cringe. I know people lose it like that, but letting it ruin your job? That was a lot.
I also wasn’t a fan of the age-gap romance between the CEO (Male Lead’s friend) and the young employee. The gap felt way too big for me — she seemed very young with this idealized, almost fairy-tale view of romance, while he was clearly in a much later stage of life with different priorities and perspectives. I just couldn’t picture the two of them together at all. It came off like the classic “wealthy older guy dating a much younger woman because he can,” even though the show tried to make it feel deeper and not about that. They didn’t seem to have much in common, which made the pairing feel forced and unconvincing to me.
A lot of other viewers seem to have felt the same way about these parts — the groveling scenes, the toxic ex dynamics, the age-gap romance subplot, and some of the frustrating friend moments. Many people noted how realistic (if painful) it was to watch a dating coach struggle so badly in her own love life, and quite a few mentioned the second-hand embarrassment during Bo-ra’s lowest points. It made the growth later feel more earned for me, even if those middle sections tested my patience a bit.
Overall, the strengths of the central romance and the show’s honest look at relationships far outweighed the cringier moments for me. That’s why it still lands at a strong 9.5/10 in my book.

if you liked "Bad and Crazy" you'll love this one!!!
All my "Bad and Crazy" baddies rise, because this drama was giving such a similar feeling! I looooved the drama, it wasn't all serious, it had it's funny moments. I liked the mix of the comedy and law genre, it wasn't suffocating and I wasn't bawling my eyes out all of the time.Phantom Lawyer was such a relief from everyday life, I enjoyed it and would watch it again (also, if I could've I would've rated it even higher than 10).
The main actors were nice, I'm glad they didn't explore the romance between two leads more than they already did, because that left us more time with the ghosts and other cases.
Anyways, enough glazing, GOOO WATCH THE DRAMAA!!!

If you liked "The 8th show" or "The night has come" you will like this kdrama!!
This masterpiece of a show was insanely executed, from the videography point of view to the storytelling. The cast was exactly as you'd expect from this kind of a show - highschoolers who are mostly selfish, but also care quite a lot about their friends. Actors did such a good job conveying the feelings and emotions. The story behind how the app was made and why the app was cursed was a cherry on top.// this is a vague spoiler//
I was kind of sad that some of the characters died and that they didn't get to come back alive though, but I understand, because the story wouldn't have made any sense if they did come back to life.

Underrated only cz it's not a popular BL pair
The drama is an absolute gem. Probably one of my favorites among the ones currently airing. The plot although is a popular troupe is well written and executed. The NC is just right not too much to make it seem like porn. The acting is spot on. I absolutely love all 3 couples and the pacing is perfect. Given 8 episodes they've made sure they focus more on the main couple and give us just enough of the 2nd and 3rd couple. Another thing special about this drama is that it keeps u curious and wanting more like rn I am curious about saitharn's past and the white shirt guy, the beef between sila and mueng (it doesn't seem that simple), how the deal is gonna go etc and eventhough there are soo many points they need to cover the drama doesn't feel rushed nor am i scared they won't cover them well cz this is probably one of the best executed bl I've watched other than restart, top form and kinnporcheI absolutely love this drama. Although we might not see this pair again cz this drama is not a hit. I think i will be rewatching this drama. I really hate it when people just rate a drama low cz the pair is not a popular pair but then rate a below average drama high by spamming it with 10s just cz the pair is popular. Currently there are dramas that are from gmmtv and dmd that are not up to the par but are rated above 8 just cz the pair is popular but this one has pretty much got hate for being cringe when it is actually not.
I saw someone complaining about the gl pair getting more screentime. When they literally were introduced in that episode (ep 3) and barely had like 5 min screentime that episode🙄. That's how unreasonable the hate is towards this drama.
I absolutely love all the characters in this drama including our "villian" gap, our hottie fluke and cutie neau. I hope to see them together in more projects❤️

Nice Start and Heartwarming ending
At first, I didn't expect too much from an office romance like this, but it turned out to be much better than I expected. Gong Myung's acting was above my expectations. I've seen him in several dramas before, but this is his best performance so far. Shin Hye Sun also delivered a great performance, as usual. The story is actually pretty well written. I loved the love-hate relationship between the leads, and the plot was quite interesting at the beginning. It became a bit flat in the middle, but it ended on a strong ending. I laughed a lot during the ending and was very satisfied with both the story and the performances.

Try harder next time…
After watching Mysterious Lotus Casebook, I found The Zhan Zhao Adventures felt like a weaker imitation of the same formula. It seemed to borrow many of the elements that made Mysterious Lotus Casebook successful but without achieving the same emotional depth or quality of storytelling.
Have been waiting for this drama - sadly, disappointing for me.

Not your typical saeguk
Let me get this out of the way up front - she never met the groom, he supposedly died on their wedding day and she's expected to live as a widow, yet it takes til the end of the show for them to figure out a loophole so she doesn't have to live with the stigma of divorce since they weren't ever actually married?!?!?That being said, it was so good to see a strong FL, that was nice. Normally, strong FL's need to be a B. Since the FL is actually a martial artist, the fight scenes were well-choreographed and believable.
There was more humor than expected, which I enjoyed. Beautiful costuming.
As for romance/chemistry - I could feel it from the ML, but not the FL. He had very expressive eyes. Not one single kiss. I loved the 2ML and his immediate attraction to 2FL.
There were a couple of rap songs that felt completely out of place, but some of the music was good.

Good start but boring to the ending
It has very good start with the hook, comedy and nice story but in the middle season everything became so slow, boring and story feels like stopped just for something unnecessary, but I like how this drama relates to nowadays people that hardworking and less sleeping. The story was actually mid everything predictable, just chemistry for main couple that carrying the whole season. Nice start but boring endingWas this review helpful to you?
My happy place!
I really loved this series, every week i was looking foreward to the next episode. This series made me so happy, The bubbly, cute and funny Duang was the highlight of my week. Qinn slowly getting softer to Duang was the sweetest thing ever! The story was great en very good executed. I want to give big probs to the very young actor that played the Young Qinn, he was amazing!!! I really felt his pain, it broke my heart...I also loved that they had the " what about sex" talk, that's so important and i've never seen that in a drama.
It had beautiful visuals and good music.
Teetee and Por are amazing actors and that at such a young age. Their dyamics and chemistry are so good! The NC scenes and kisses were amazing! Really surprising for actors so young to capture and express those feelings so good.
Even though i am not a fan of North, his pairing with Otto works, they have good chemistry.
And Wave also did a great job, there is something in his acting that i really like.
I will watch this drama many more times in the future whenever i need a happy bubbly drama. And yes, there are a few sad parts, but the happyness and sweetness makes it all good in the end.

Want a comedy, this is for you!
This was a fun movie to watch. Park Eun Bin - great job, but I still see Attorney Woo when I watch her. Cha Eun Woo - he did better than I expected of him. Kim Hae Sook - I love her in everything. Choi Dae Hoon - now I need to watch Crash Landing on You YET AGAIN, I loved him in that. The whole thing started out a little messy but eventually hit its stride. You really need to pay attention to discover why they have the powers that they have, they don't spell it out for you.
Personally, I don't think it needs a season 2, but I enjoyed the ride.

One of the things I loved most was the female lead. Her acting was natural, charming, and very lovable. She brought so much warmth to her character that it was impossible not to root for her. The male lead was also excellent, and the chemistry between the two leads was one of the biggest highlights of the drama. Their relationship felt genuine, sweet, and comfortable, making every scene between them enjoyable to watch.
Another adorable part of the drama was the child character. The kid was incredibly cute and added so much happiness and warmth to the story. The interactions between the characters felt natural and family-oriented, which made the drama even more special.
What I appreciated most was that there were no truly evil characters and no unnecessary conflicts. Unlike many dramas that rely on complicated love triangles, repeated misunderstandings, or multiple breakups, this drama keeps things simple. The story focuses on relationships, personal growth, and everyday moments rather than creating drama for the sake of drama.
The plot is not overly complex, which is actually one of its strengths. It tells a beautiful and meaningful story without making viewers emotionally exhausted. Every character has a satisfying development, and the ending is amazing and fulfilling for everyone.
Overall, this is a cute, wholesome, and feel-good drama with wonderful performances, great chemistry, and a heartwarming story. If you are looking for a simple drama with lovable characters, a sweet romance, and a happy ending, this is definitely worth watching.

Not enjoying this.
Okay I watch this first before the long drama version and it was....bland. I tried so hard to not compare to long drama but ML characterization was quite lacking and have no charm and Yue Yuting puts same seductive expression in her costume drama. The chemistry between Wu Zixe and Yue Yuting looks artificial despite they got intimate scene. This drama lacks authentic charm and i was on verge on dropping this drama so i just fast forwarding. The only good part in this drama is the costume. I wont recommend this and suggest to watch long drama instead. Was this review helpful to you?
Long Live Cinema, Friend!
Not Friends tells the story of Pae, a high school student who wants to make a film about his "friend" Joe who just passed away.A fun coming-of-age film with classic Thai comedy + strong high school nostalgia vibes that makes you laugh while keeping your heart warm. I thought the trailer spoiled everything, but the film still had a lot to show about character growth, the meaning of friendship, and chasing dreams.
Overall, even though some parts drag a bit, it’s a really enjoyable watch.
