An amazing seat edge thriller with wonderful performances from cast
Every episode has a new twist and ever character in the bus has untold story.
Although the police station scenes are litle frustating where every time they question main leads as prime suspects, these scenes are very much needed to keep plot movimg as main leads do not have any power of foresight
One question though how come main leads sleep every time when they are interrgated when the situation is not in their favour
Overall its an amazing watch and it's a pity that it does not get much attention it required in the genre of mystery and suspense

Scripted compared to s1 but the times they showed their real self although few were good
I might have found season 1 boring cz the episodes were longer and included pretty much everything from the judge's discussion to awkward silences whereas season 2 didn't have that. It is much more engaging and easy to watch but i would still say I like season 1 much better. When I watched season 1 I didn't feel like I was watching actors or celebs instead I felt like I was watching them as a person. Like on day 1 you could literally feel the awkwardness among the contestants and also the stress and anxiousness when it comes to the tasks and finding their partner. You could feel them.In season 2 I pretty much felt no one. There were very few moments where you'd see the person in those actors and it was obvious like you'd see JJ trying hard to interact with people in ep 1 by bombarding them with jokes and later calming down once net shows up, auou being anxious about the shoot, latte being frustrated cz he didn't perform well etc.
I could really feel that JimmyOhm, NetJJ, TeeteePor, LatteKim were already pairs they definitely weren't here to find pairs. When it comes to AueuSave at first I had my doubts but then once they told they were alredy working on Your Sky's workshop it was obvious they were a pair too just trying to copy some things from season 1 to make this season seem realistic. It was pretty obvious that no one was looking for a pair since ep 1 cz no one seemed interested or worried unlike in season 1 were people were afraid (like FirstOne) picking the wrong person might do more damage than good. Also Ryujin coming in seemed soo scripted. It was obvious he was there for Patji cz no one was trying to even consider him as a partner (obviously cz they were all paired up) also the age difference made it pretty obvious he was there for him but Pat is not legal yet so let's just put it out there without pushing it a lot.
For me, when someone says DMD Friendship it's like a place where I can know how these pair's journey started but in this season that was not the case here. During the interviews it was obvious everyone were already fixed pairs before the show. They're here to promote and most of them are already on shoot also no way can they pick a new partner here cz that would definitely affect the series they're working on. Also if u noticed this season it's been 3 episodes but only once they asked for the players who didn't win the task to pick a partner and go on date if they match (we know why). Also during these "dates" you can barely see them actually having deep conversations trying to learn each other to see if they can be a pair unlike what we had in seaon 1 where the whole date they'd actually talk instead of being on their phones. I kinda missed the Polaroid camerađ
Anyways it is entertaining although i didn't like that it was scripted and just a promotion cz it feels like they're just playing with our feelings kinda.
So far my favorite episode is the play episode. Damn JimmyOhm made me cry like a baby. Now i get why people were sad when they broke up. I'm happy Latte finally found his partner but he still carries the same problem he had in season 1. He gets too anxious and messes up and then continues to dwell on that mistake for a long time but one thing i observed was that now that he had Kim he was less anxious and didn't force himself to interact with people. He was much more relaxed although he was still anxious. I really hope he fixes that issue cz on a long run that's not gonna help. He should learn to chill a bit. Like gemini says "try it and if u fail fuck it"
I really would love to review each pair but then i felt everyone was just fanservicing so i don't hv anything to say about them.
Right now after 3 episodes my favorite pairs would be (frankly no one solely based on this show but if i compare other things too) LatteKim, TeeteePor and JimmyOhm
Edit: now that I've watched the show I'd like to review the pairs
- JimmyOhm - They came out as a very mature pair to me compared to others. When it comes to me their highlight was the play where they made me cry and Jimmy getting jealous of Por for taking Ohm on a date. Every performance they gave on the show was kinda sad themed ones, kinda like subtle foreshadowing of the future is what i felt. They made me cry both on the show and irl .Unfortunately I'm here after they broke up so a lot of things they said kinda hit hard and made me feel sad. Well let's treasure the past and dive into the future.
- LatteKim - Latte and Gem were the 2 contestants who i really empathized with in season 1. As i said before Latte is someone who gets anxious easily. Although it was obvious Latte was there for Kim since day 1 and there were small things that were different about Latte now that he had Kim, i still wondered why did they choose each other as partners cz Latte didn't seem to be into it and Kim was a quite person by nature. That was until they got the friendship timeđ¤Łđ¤Ł. The way Latte switched his personality once he was with Kim i was like.. yeah now i get itđ. This was consistent Latte didn't talk much in huge groups but in his 1-1 he spoke a lot with people it may be kim or teetee. You could see him having Kim gave him a sense of security. Also i noticed he was much more confident asking kim to choose him unlike season 1 where he seemed desperate. Him trying to act cool but being a total loser for kim was just adorable â¤ď¸. Loved their finale performance đ¤đ¤ all they did was self service
- TeeteePor - apparently i was wrong about them being a pair before the show. Por was in your sky but tee tee joined later after becoming his partner in this show. Gotta say they had really good chemistry since day 1 cz i really cannot believe the play was their 1st interaction together. I Really like the way Por played. He had frienship time 3 times and it made sense why he chose each 1 of them ohm (friend), teetee(chemistry) and pat (nong who was upset for not being chosenđ¤Ł) and it was kinda obvious he didn't pick teetee twice to kinda tease him. I really liked how they kept their promise to sing and dance together in the finaleđ¤ cz in seasoj 1 i remember teetee dancing cz he wasn't good at singing and por saying he preferred singing. They both learnt something and i think the win was justified they did really good.
- NetJJ - I kinda get why people like this pair now that I've watched this show, i wanna support them myself. I cried when they had the deep convo before picking their partner. Net who never thought he'd ever have a permanent partner again and unexpectedly finding one. JJ who has had a hard time with success choosing to pick Net against a really big fandom from his past pairing. You could see JJs fears and i kinda get now why Net is soo protective about him. The kid really risked it all
- AueuSave - initially i really felt they were acting copying a lot of things from season 1 but yeah by the end that was not the case. But i did see Latte in Auau when he was upset for not winning. His interaction with Por and their friendship was something rare and newđ¤â¤ď¸. As for save he was downbad since ep 1đ¤ he kept trying till the end and succeeded. Another thing i noticed is Aueu's acting is underrated. I felt he did a really good job in the play episode and didn't win cz pat was a newbie and nervous. As for save damn his smile is soo freaking adorable. I was really happey when Aueu won the best performance award cz he really needed that. He kept losing after coming really close to victoryâ¤ď¸ also his finale performance wasđ¤
- RyujinPat - it was obvious Ryujin was introduced into the show for pat and they chose themselves cz pat is underage so this was just a kinda promotion for them.

A Well Written Drama That Got Ruined By Its' Hasty Illogical Sloppy Ending
Positive Points1. Hands down to the writer for the well-written characters of Chen Yanyun and Gu Jingzhao. It's been quite some time since I came across such well-written ML and FL. I would give a few extra thanks for the character of the FL, especially. The character of the FL is rational, and she has a damn care attitude that is something I liked about her character. She is not the type of sacrificial type of Female lead who always returns bad with good. She also does not give her family a free pass just because they are her blood. Nor does she let the opportunistic people take financial advantage of her just because they are family. She is smart and intelligent. This is something I really appreciate. Also, the thing I absolutely love about this FL is that she never wastes her efforts on someone who does not appreciate it. After her first crush rejected her, she never pursued him. Nor did she waste her time on him. Ye Xian never explicitly told her that he liked her, and it was because of his crush on her that he always helped her. FL never took it for granted and never exploited his feelings for her personal gain. She also tried to help in return, like a true friend. Her marriage view is actually beautiful and rational. I like the way FL's character was written. Her character was consistent. She knows horse riding and archery. The screenwriter actually let her flex her skills and did not reduce her to an accessory for the ML to act as the hero. The ML is also one of the well-written, dignified characters. ML is quite sharp, rational, calm, and diplomatic. He also treats the FL with respect and does not impose his wishes in the name of love. Respect is very important for love to persist for a long time in my opinion. The ML is someone who can indeed be respected. The FL has indeed chosen the right guy for marriage. ML is different from the other 2 love interests of the female lead not due to age but rather the way he handled FL's vow to never marry, showing his composure. He has enough sense to differentiate between state and personal matters. He highly respects the FL and honours her choice and wishes. He diplomatically, with his patience and tactics, changed the No from the FL into Yes, and that is without using any underhanded method.
2. The cinematography, music, direction, and action scenes were nice. The cast was really good in their respective roles.
Negative Points
1. Spent too much time on two other love interests of the FL (I consider Ye Xian as a friend and not a love interest). Why waste such nice chemistry between the leads for showing too much court politics and love rivalry? There was very little of the FL and the ML for my liking throughout the drama.
2. Ye Xian could have been a nice addition. There was no need to make him do impulsive, illogical things. I know he was important for the 2nd half, but still too much time was wasted on him doing impulsive things that I absolutely did not like at all. Ye Xian is impulsive, has anger management issues and is aggressive. Bro loves to turn to drinking every time he faces a challenge/ problem. It does not really matter how good a man is when he is calm and happy. His character is best understood in times of crisis or when he loses his temper. Ye Xian is not a good choice for marriage at all. He impulsively whipped the FL when he could not swallow a few lines of bitter truth. No matter how he helped the FL, he is not a good candidate for marriage, for sure. He also does not have any keen perception of the court politics.
3. What was the ending even, killing everyone and leaving the leads alive only? The writing in the last 3 episodes was absolutely weak. The start was great, but had such a mediocre ending.
Overall, this drama was a nice one-time watch.
Ps. Though a bit unrealistic, the cute little emperor is more sensible than all those treacherous, evil, arrogant, womaniser emperors shown in C dramas.

Two-way ending scene
A Journey to Love is truly an extraordinary drama where we can experience every emotion â love, betrayal, the death of loved ones, and everything in between. Now, letâs talk about the bittersweet ending. To some viewers, it is a happy ending because Chu Yue saw a boy named Ning Shisan, who said that he has a sister named Ren Lu. This could mean that both Ning Yuanzhou and Ren Ruyi are alive.
But from my point of view, everything Chu Yue saw was a hallucination. If you watched Episode 40 attentively, you would remember the scene where Ning Yuanzhou saw Qian Zhao, Yuan Lu, and Sun Lang enjoying themselves. Suddenly, Yu Shisan joined them, and everyone became happy. It was all Ning Yuanzhouâs hallucination.
In the ending scene, Chu Yue saw Ning Yuanzhou and Ren Ruyi together with Yu Shisan, Qian Zhao, Sun Lang, and Yuan Lu. This indicates that both the male lead and female lead joined them, and now all of them are happy together. Chu Yueâs hallucination can be interpreted in many ways. Some viewers may think that both the ML and FL are alive, while others may believe that they are dead.
Another thing â I guess you remember when Ren Ruyi went to the Beipan tent and dropped the thunder bombs there while saying that there was no point in staying alive without Ning Yuanzhou. Before this happened, if you remember clearly, Ning Yuanzhou had already been severely injured after being attacked by many people. However, the drama never clearly showed whether he was dead or alive; it only showed some memories from the past. This could mean that before going to assassinate the enemies, Ren Ruyi already knew Ning Yuanzhou was dead. That is why she chose to die together with those Beipan people.
As for why Chu Yue saw them like that, and why she saw that boy â everyone knew that Ren Ruyi wanted to have a child with Ning Yuanzhou. So, in her hallucination, she actually saw their child. She also saw them together because all of them wished to live a peaceful life together after safely returning to Wu State.
Thatâs it. Thank you for reading my review :)

Overall Good Watch
There are a lot of misunderstandings in this drama but the ML is as clean as clean gets. While I'm not entirely sure why the the FL was adopted by that clearly sadistic family, I guess maybe because it sets up for plot points? I am glad that the sister's fiance was able to rebuild his life without her and move on. He deserved better than her. I also liked that the ML and FL helped the sister at the end and that she clarified that she would have helped anyone. The FL was a decent human being, something the sister's never understood or could achieve. Overall it was a feel-good drama with major kudos for the acting by the hospital scene at the OR. Great job all around and great chemistry from the main leads! Was this review helpful to you?

Uhm... sure
Overall, I thought it's reallyyy cute and I didn't really know what to expect since I just casually chose something on my list. I like this show, like I said it's really cute but uhhh. I love the intro, it's really cute and the overall aesthetic is super cute aswell. Anyways, I'm really curious what I'm gonna think of season 2 because I'm not sure what to expect. It's giving Kdrama vibes with the silent moments and I wouldn't be surprised if they took some inspiration from it.I already read Minato Shouji Coin Laundry the manga before and I used to really like it. A lot of times when series get adapted from VERY popular manga's it's kinda upsetting because I might have to high of expectations. What I loved though is that the episodes are short. As someone who binge watches Bl it's perfect to watch in a night. The first episode really goes well with the weather of today in my country,
Next thing, the reason why I'm not sure what to think of it. I'm gonna be honest right here, but I do NOT like the whole age gap thing in this series. It's weird and I just don't like it. "But he turned 18". A 17 year old was hitting on a 27 yr old before he turned 18 hun. And then the 'wet' dream and the "What am I saying, he's just a minor" thing adds to the weirdness. And it was like reverse grooming? Like a 30ish year old man getting flirted on by a 17 yr old? What made it worse was Katsuki being saved by Minato when he was 7 years old. Victim gets groomed by teacher so the victim grooms to another person back.
You can obviously notice that Minato was groomed by his teacher. "But his teacher didn't like him" we don't know AND he was clearly flirting or creating a bond that is a bit weird with a student. I don't understand why sooo many Japanese drama's/manga's do this. It irritates me and it's definitely not the first time they add some grooming to the drama.

A drama that actually swallowed me whole
I knew what I was getting myself into, yet I was still shocked by how insane the ML is. I'm so biased because he's absurdly handsome but my god, the red flags in this drama were insane. It felt like he was falling into madness as his obsession consumed him and we were dragged along with him.Advertised idol x actor trope but it was more rookie actor x popular actor. The bet placed was thankfully not taken too far as Chiaki fell extremely hard and quick for Ama. It's not surprising since Ama is an adorable FL. She's naive, don't get me wrong, but does have a backbone when push comes to shove. I cheered when she set hard boundaries after Chiaki took it too far at times but unfortunately, his manipulate ass somehow always managed to win her over,
Overall, a wacky but widely entertaining watch. Fantastic OST, rapid plotline that did not drag. A consuming and toxic love story of two people who are surprisingly the perfect match. Don't save either of them, they are exactly where they want to be.

Be Careful What You Wish For
Who hasn't wished at one time or another that they could just disappear or start over somewhere where no one knew them? But what would you do if it actually happened? What if that fleeting moment of frustration became the basis for your every day life? This series reminds us that even in our times of struggle and uncertainty, there are so many people around us whose lives would be forever changed if we weren't in it. It's so easy to get wrapped up in anxiety, grief, and depression, and we forget that the good times are there too. That we have people we love and who love us back. This series is a wonderful reminder to keep pressing forward and not take our loved ones for granted, and to also remember that it's ok to ask for help sometimes. Was this review helpful to you?

Lee Jong Suk and Kang So Ra!
Doctor Stranger had so much potential, but it felt like the writers couldnât tighten the story up in a way that fully delivered on its premise. The setup is strong and the medical thriller angle with North Korea had a lot of room to be gripping, but the execution often felt uneven and scattered, which made it hard to stay fully invested throughout.Lee Jong Suk as Park Hun was one of the highlights of the drama. He did a great job and his delivery as a doctor felt convincing and natural, especially in high pressure surgical scenes. One of my favorite moments was when he was saving a baby, it really showed his intensity and skill as a dctor and stood out as one of the most emotional and engaging parts of the drama.
The chemistry between Lee Jong Suk and Jin Se Yeon was completely lacking. I couldnât even root for them as a couple, and their scenes together felt flat and forced.
Lee Jong Suk and Kang So Ra had great chemistry and their dynamic felt more natural and believable on screen. You can see the admiration she has for him as a doctor which I felt turned into a crush, but I liked the way it was played out.
Jin Se Yeonâs portrayal of a North Korean spy didnât work for me either. I couldnât take her seriously in the role, especially in scenes where she was supposed to appear threatening, tough, or mysterious. It just didnât land emotionally or convincingly, which made her storyline less engaging.
Overall, the drama had a strong concept and a solid cast, but the writing and character chemistry issues kept it from reaching its full potential.

How a Script Perfectly Matches Its Title: The Wonderfools
Unlike nonsensical dramas like 'Duty After School'âwhere no mysteries are solved, events are never clearly explained, and characters die unnecessarilyâthis was a show where everything was explained as clearly as possible, and both comedy and drama were beautifully executed. I was so deeply moved when the daughter of the man with the sticky superpower remembered everything. Even if a second season never comes, rewatching the show from the very beginning will feel like a second season to me. It was one of those rare Korean dramas with a well-written ending. After all, Korean dramas usually end either poorly or with an open-ended finale. Was this review helpful to you?
Brilliant lines, beautiful shots
Instead of choosing happiness, we laugh at the misery, more or less my personal motto (and has been for a while), and apparently could also be Park Hae Youngs motto too...Most of the time I am a character and fluff mood watcher. But to be honest I often seem to need to be dragged in to the depth of despair to truly love a drama. This drama excelled at the art of making a drama so powerful you don't really care if you love the characters or not , one where you get fed scene after scene, line after line with so much depth, emotion and thought it made me pause and rewatch several scenes some multiple times with such lines as:
" I don't get books like "please look after mom," iv got a different idea of "mom" from everyone else"
"My hair is pretty thick, if you start a fight and start pulling it, you might loose a finger"
While I did get annoyed with most of the characters in one way or another (because of their behaviour, and after a while its in a good way) The female lead was outstanding in every single way, actually most of the female characters in this had amazing lines, great acting and felt oddly relatable in very different slightly disturbing ways. The way hardship, mental illness, trauma fear and everything in between is displayed made me fall in love with this.
The power of words, the power of the sound of high heals, the power of silence and emotions are displayed in so many ways. The attention to detail it is indeed a true Park Hae Young (as you can read in the article me and Anquat wrote about her)
All this said I am going to admit that something was off in the last few episodes that kept me from rating this with a full 10 star rating but I will say this was brilliant.

Creative but Gets Hard to Stay Invested In
W Two Worlds started off really interesting, funny, and cute. The whole setup of jumping between the real world and a webtoon felt fresh and had a lot of potential, and the early episodes were genuinely fun to watch. There was a nice balance of romance, humor, and mystery that made it easy to get invested in Kang Chulâs story and the strange connection between the two worlds. But after Kang Chul finds out his life isn't real and that he is a character in a manhwa, the drama takes a turn that just lost me. Instead of deepening the story in a satisfying way, it started feeling more complicated and less engaging. The emotional weight didnât fully land, and I eventually lost interest and dropped it because it stopped feeling as fun or compelling as it was in the beginning.
That said, Lee Jong Suk and Han Hyo Joo had great chemistry. Their scenes together were one of the strongest parts of the drama and really helped carry the emotional side of the story, especially in the earlier episodes when the romance felt more natural and light.

Devastating Tragic Love Story
The Hymn of Death was such a heartbreaking tragic love story. From the very beginning, the drama carries this heavy emotional atmosphere that makes you feel like the characters are fighting against time, society, and their own circumstances. The script did a great job showing how painful and impossible their love felt without making the emotions seem forced or overly dramatic. What made the drama stand out was how quiet and restrained the storytelling felt. Instead of relying on exaggerated scenes, it focused more on emotional tension, sacrifice, and the sadness surrounding their relationship. Even though it's a short drama, it leaves a lasting emotional impact because of how intimate and tragic the story feels from start to finish.
My favorite scene was when Yun Sim Deok was performing on stage and she saw Kim U Jin leave, then immediately ran after him. The tension and the longing in that scene were incredible. You could feel how desperately they wanted to hold onto each other despite knowing how impossible their situation was. It was such an emotional and beautifully acted moment.
Lee Jong Suk and Shin Hae Sun had incredible chemistry throughout the drama. You could genuinely feel the longing, love, and emotional connection their characters had every time they were together. A lot of the emotional weight of the story came from their performances because they made the relationship feel deeply sincere and tragic in a very believable way.

Good concept, poor execution
Some eps are good while others are boring. The FL and yeo seonok were draining. Kwang Soo is good. Woogy is so cute. Woogy is the absolute best thing about the drama. Was this review helpful to you?
