Seis episódios foram pouco!!

Gosto muito de doramas com essa pegada, então, obviamente, gostei desse também. Me lembrou bastante Sweet Home e Stranger Things por causa dos efeitos visuais e da forma como os parasitas se manifestam nos humanos.

O fato de ter somente seis episódios me deixou intrigada, porque dava para desenvolver muito mais a história. Ainda assim, acho que o diretor fez isso de propósito para deixar um suspense no ar e gerar mais teorias sobre o que ainda pode acontecer, caso tenha outra temporada (que, pelas cenas do último episódio, provavelmente terá).

Queria muito saber de onde surgiram esses parasitas, se vieram de outro planeta ou algo do tipo. Também fiquei curiosa para saber se isso aconteceu em outras cidades ou países que não foram citados no dorama. E o que vai acontecer com a Su-in? Ela vai viver com esse parasita dentro dela para sempre?

Não achei a história mal desenvolvida. Como tudo ainda estava no começo, eles conseguiram conter a situação antes que virasse algo global, como acontece em algumas séries de zumbis.

And those kisses... my God!

For me, Payback was a truly unique BL. It had been a long time since I had looked forward to a Saturday with so much excitement. It completely changed my weekend routine—I made sure to be free at the exact time a new episode was released.

I had never read the webtoon, but I fell in love with the series from the very first episode.

As the story progressed, I realized that ten episodes would never be enough to do it justice, and unfortunately, I was right.

If I have one major disappointment with this production, it is its rushed and emotionally underwhelming ending.

I honestly don't understand Thai productions sometimes. When a series is genuinely good, wins over the audience, and has a committed cast, they shorten it. Yet when a production is mediocre, it gets dragged out far longer than necessary. Payback deserved at least two more episodes.

The raw, realistic, and difficult portrayal of the entertainment industry was heartbreaking. Knowing that the events depicted are inspired by realities that still exist is a painful reminder of how far we are from achieving basic human decency. It was genuinely shocking.

On the other hand, I have to say that this series features some of the most passionate and beautiful kisses I've ever seen between BL leads. Wow! Beautiful, sensual, and perfectly supported by their incredible chemistry, Min and Toptap completely stole the show. I don't think I'll forget those brilliantly filmed intimate scenes in Episode 8 anytime soon.

I can only hope this pair gets to work together again very soon—preferably in a more romantic story and a much less toxic one.

Had it not been for the final episode, where even the long-awaited revenge arcs failed to deliver a satisfying conclusion, my rating would have been a perfect 10.

Even with its plot holes, this was still an excellent production. Wonderfully engaging, irresistibly captivating, and absolutely worth watching.

And those kisses... my God!

It's over! Lemme go back to those that invest on a good plot.

Well I finished this for Fomo and I also thought we'd get a bit more screen time for RomeMok, but nothing. I was watching it for williamest btw.
I also had to pause a bit at the comment made by Mok about Mira being a woman, was that necessary?
My other issue is the lack of natural closeness between peach and thee, they don't properly sell the 'being madly in love' with each other story. You'd expect a couple that's in their honeymoon phase to be a little more lovey dovey. And I think this also has to do with the lack of chemistry between ppw, yeah I said what I said.
I just completed A dog and a plane and that kind of chemistry, natural facial expressions and gestures is what I was expecting from our married couple, but I couldn't find it.
Other than that, I quite enjoyed the last episode when the auditions began. It was so hilarious 😂...

Thank You for This Beautiful Journey, Deep In❤️❤️

Deep In is a 10/10 for me. The script is well written and consistent, and there isn't a single episode where I felt bored. The acting was excellent. Ollie and Shu Yuan did an amazing job portraying two roles each. Their performances were so convincing that, to me, Zhen Xin and Fang Chi, as well as Zhang Zhun and Gao Zhun, each had their own unique personalities that made them feel like completely different characters.

Some people said we didn't get a second couple, but for me, we did. Fang Chi and Gao Zhun were the second couple.

To Director Wen Dao and the entire production team, you did an incredible job. Thank you for bringing Deep In to life. Thank you for trusting this young cast, especially Ollie and Shu Yuan. And thank you for bringing us joy every Friday and Saturday.

I'm really sad that it's over, but I'm also so happy for Ollie and Shu Yuan. I truly hope they'll have many successful projects in the future.

Chen Yi is the imperfectly perfect male lead

This drama felt very unique to me; maybe it’s because I haven’t watched enough c-dramas. I loved the 1990s setting, the atmosphere and cinematography felt oddly comforting and warm, even when it was clear that Chen Yi and Miao Jing did not live very comfortable lives. The story starts off with Chen Yi and Miao Jing being forced together in one home as their Jing’s mum begins a relationship with Yi’s dad out of convenience. Both come from very broken families; Yi’s dad is extremely abusive and Jing’s mother only seems to care about money. Despite some people’s confusion, Jing and Yi are NOT biological siblings, they aren’t related in any way and Jing wasn’t even adopted into Yi’s family. So their romantic relationship is not weird. Eventually, circumstances lead to Yi having to take care of Jing financially and he essentially takes on the burden of being her caregiver while also falling in love with her during their teen years. How do I start describing Chen Yi? He is the definition of ‘I will take care of it, don’t worry.’ He cares for and loves Miao Jing in every way and their relationship unfolding in their teen years was genuinely one of the most beautiful portrayals of love I’ve ever seen. As I watched each episode, it was clear that Chen Yi ONLY cared about Miao Jing; every decision he made seemed to be with her in mind, even at the expense of his own safety. Circumstances lead to them being separated and their reunion is adulthood unfolded very slowly. In adulthood, Miao Jing is an auditor who is investigating the company Chen Yi works for, and they end up getting involved in danger. Obviously, there’s some tension as Chen Yi doesn’t want Miao Jing to get hurt, but there’s also a lot of misunderstandings because of this. I think the chemistry of the leads really made this drama so good!

Most of what people will criticise including me, is the dragging of the auditing report thing. I genuinely still don’t completely understand what the danger was or why so many scenes were focused on the auditing, but it got really boring at some points, so I definitely skipped through some scenes.
Also, Cen Ye (the second lead) was SO annoying. Usually, I at least sympathise for the second male leads in dramas but this guy pissed me off. I felt sorry for Chen Yi’s fake gf at times and at least she backed off eventually - her story was really sad to be honest.

Overall, the main leads makes this drama a 9-9.5/10 - I’ve watched so many dramas but this couple will stay with me for a longggg time! I think this is worth the watch if you’re looking for a slow-burn childhood enemies to lovers kind of c-drama!

Amei acompanhar, mas...

De uma forma geral, amei acompanhar Deep In.
Gostei da atuação dos protagonistas (que são lindíssimos e têm uma química maravilhosa), amei a fotografia e achei a trilha sonora incrível. Porém, há alguns pontos sobre a história que não me permitiram dar uma nota maior e que fizeram com que esse drama não se tornasse um dos meus favoritos.

Gostei bastante da história do ZhenXin e do ZhangZhun (comecei o drama por esse plot dos atores que ficam tão imersos nos personagens que acabam se apaixonando na vida real, aliás).

Porém, não curti tantoooo assim a história do FangChi e do GaoZhun. Realmente não é o tipo de história que me atrai e, se fosse um BL à parte, eu nem começaria a assistir. Não gosto da forma como o relacionamento deles começa e, além disso, me senti meio incomodada com a forma que o tópico do abuso sexual é tratado no relacionamento deles em alguns momentos, achei alguns dialógos sobre esse assunto um pouco indelicados e até problemáticos.

O plot twist do final também pode ser algo meio confuso. Na verdade, sinto que não peguei totalmente na hora em que estava assistindo e precisei ver algumas explicações para entender completamente.

Enfim, apesar dos pontos negativos, foi um drama que me prendeu muito, me deixou apegada a alguns personagens e com o qual me diverti muito assistindo.

Overall: there's nothing terrible, yet nothing really draws me. I suggest starting at episode 5 if you're not hooked in the first episode. I watched the Thai Your Sky series, but am reviewing this series based on its own merits. 9 episodes about 25 minutes each. Not enough payback

At the start of this show, I really loved it. A main character is driven by revenge against his ex, only to discover his ex's now successful life as an actor is embedded within a much larger, systemically corrupt problem. From the outside, and the first few episodes, this looked like something I would love. Unfortunately, as the show went on, it became more about our main character's career as an actor and less about the actual revenge.

Sun (Min) was once in a happy relationship with Bank (Fuaiz), but that ended when Bank took Sun's money, ran off to become an actor, and left him with no way to pay for his mother's cancer treatment. Sun becomes hell bent on getting revenge, and after paying his mother's medical debt, is sick and tired of seeing Bank's face, who now goes by the name Sunny, on billboards. Sun auditions for the same entertainment company as Sunny in order to drag him down from the inside, and discovers a much more corrupt system than he expected.

Min as Sun was perfect - he totally delivered the cold, emotionless Sun. Plus, watching Toptap as the love interest was great. Did I enjoy the relationship dynamic between them as they fell in love? Honestly, not at all. It felt predatory, and like Sun was a victim of the very system he was seeking to destroy. Still, the actors did a great job portraying the characters even though I found Jay (Toptap) to be kind of unbearable for most of the show. I will say, if you're going into this thinking it's some crazy revenge thriller, it honestly isn't. This is more about the story of Sun's life as he struggles to claw his way out of debt, motivated only by revenge, and the way he falls in love as he's pursuing this. While still a great show, I think the revenge portion deserved way more time that it got.

Ho iniziato questo drama cinese poco conosciuto un po' a scatola chiusa, colpita da una locandina molto particolare e sensuale vista di sfuggita molto tempo fa, e da una recensione che ne tesseva le lodi letta in rete l'altro giorno, e sono partita dicendo già dalle prime due puntate che non ne ero del tutto convinta, e invece c'è voluto poco per rendermi conto che ne ero completamente rapita tanto da non riuscire a staccarmi dallo schermo, spolverando in poco con più di due giorni 24 puntate e rubando tutto il tempo libero che riuscivo a rimediare per poterla guardare! 🤩
Conclusione?! Non è di quelle che a livello di regia mi ha fatto impazzire, ma per il resto mi è piaciuta tantissimo!! Sono stata incantata dalle canzoni di sottofondo che ho trovato perfette per ogni scena, con in più la chicca (almeno su Yoori) di avere i testi tradotti sia in italiano che di lato coi simboli cinesi e i petali a forma di cuore che uscivano dalle parole!! 😍 Una cosa che ho trovato molto particolare e incantevole! 💖
Ho trovato questa serie molto dolce e romantica, ma che ci Comunque mi ha sorprendentemente stupito nelle parecchie scene improvvise di impeti di passione dei baldi uomini di stata serie...decisamente molto sensuali, altro che nei Kdrama che per un bacio a stampo nella maggior parte dei casi si deve aspettare almeno la terz’ultima puntata!! 😅
Inizialmente mi ero fatta l’idea che fosse un po’ troppo romantica per i miei gusti, e invece la storia si è delineata con più sfaccettature e arriva ad essere anche molto commovente e per me molto scorrevole e gradevole!
Bellissima la storia d’amore principale tra la diciottenne pittrice che si innamora a prima vista del maturo e affascinante floricultore dall'aspetto chiuso e riservato, ma ho amato ancor di più la storia di della madre della ragazza che è in bilico nella sua vita tra la voglia di mettere in standby il suo ruolo di madre per sentirsi di nuovo donna, amata e apprezzata...ma si scontra contro il destino comune delle madri che ovviamente mettono sempre davanti ai loro interessi l’amore smisurato per i propri figli! ❤️‍🩹
L’attrice protagonista è la giovane e frizzantissima ragazza di nome Xu Ruo Han che stranamente mi è stata simpaticissima sin dalla prima scena, anche quando faceva un po’ troppo la sbarazzina, lui invece è un certo Jerry Yan che in teoria andavo dicendo che non mi piaceva fisicamente...ma ogni tanto che aveva delle improvvise botte di sexytudine che mi lasciava senza fiato e mi faceva sobbalzare nel letto!! 😅
E poi parliamo del ragazzo che in teoria avrebbe dovuto avere un ruolo secondario, ma per me ha rubato la scena in quanto avrei voluto decisamente più spazio per lui.... Yu Ziang...che oltre che essere davvero un bel ragazzo, è stato quello che più mi ha fatto battere il cuore!! Lui con questi occhietti espressivi che raccontavano di se ogni lato umano, la gioia, la delusione, la passione e la tristezza!! Davvero un bravissimo attore!! Avrei preferito che dessero un po’ più spazio alla sua storia che mi ha coinvolto particolarmente!!
Oltre ad aver subito incrementato la mia playlist con ben dieci canzoni di questa meravigliosa OST, sono convinta che sia di quelli che prima o poi meritino anche un rewatch!

Thee is once again a legend but this time I needed a little more

I enjoyed, but I can’t hide the disappointment in the romance area like…it was SO lacking and it shouldn’t have been like that. TheePeach, for example, are married but it didn’t feel that way and I felt that their romantic scenes were lacking, which shouldn’t have occurred. Why the children’s didn’t call Peach dad? Their family dynamic was so odd for me. TheePeach not having a kiss in the last episode was DIABOLICAL as well like what? I know this was only a special present to the fans but in my opinion they failed to give exactly what the fans wanted to see the most.

RomeMok’s romance shined a little more here compared to Me and Thee and I’m so happy to see more of them, I screamed in all their scenes, but tbh WilliamEst chemistry saved their whole dynamic and they could’ve bring much more if the director was a little better in the romance perspective. Also their fight in EP2 was so unnecessary like come on it’s only 4 episodes, why waste time with unnecessary things that don’t even make sense for the characters itself?

PerthSanta and EmiBonnie were here for what exactly 😭 because obviously putting 4 couples in a 4 episode special wouldn’t work out too well. EmiBonnie’s scenes were…something. Like what was that washing hair scene in the last episode? 😭 I also don’t know what the production team was thinking putting so many sexist comments about Mira and even being said by Mira.

But, like I said, the director knows how to do comedy and Thee was funny (and dramatic) as usual. He’s exactly what we see in Me and Thee, or worse lol. I also enjoyed his scenes with Rome, their bickering is pretty cute. The last episode featuring TayNew, ForceBook and JuniorMark was a nice surprise and it was really funny seeing them portray TheePeach, especially Junior. I died laughing.

Overall I think if you really like Me and Thee and the characters here you’ll enjoy watching this. But the lacking of good romantic and intimate scenes was really a negative point that I can’t hide, especially when the characters are already together, and that’s why it’s a 7/10 for me.

MEU DEUS QUE OBRA PRIMA!!!

Meus amores melhor Bl que eu já assisti desse ano. Sinceramente quando eu comecei a assistir eu estava com ressaca e não tava conseguindo assistir nada então eu não botei muito expectativa, porém me surpreendeu muitooo.
A história de vida dos personagens são muito interessantes, e como a história não deixa pra trás nenhum detalhe e tudo se encaixa perfeitamente sem nenhum furo sabe. A QUÍMICA BABADEIRA do nosso casal principal obviamente, eles passam essa vibe um pouco dark- porém eles conseguiram não estragar esse lado o que muitas vezes acontece em séries assim que se perdem, então achei perfeito.A amizade dele com o Sun, o a gente dele totalmente fora da curva porém sempre que ele soltava uma pérola eu me acaba de rir.

Uma história que conseguiu juntar tudo que a gente gosta, mas sem perder o sentido. Então existe a tensão e cenas pesadas que são muito importantes pra o desenvolvimento da história, como muitas partes cômicas e de romance e hot, tudo junto. Vai ser difícil outro BL acertar tanto assim como esse. meu Deus já quero eles em outro projeto.
Agora uma coisa universal pra quem também terminou de assistir foi o Sun não ter tido um desenvolvimento de romance com aquele fotógrafo MEU PAI, eles tinha muita química. Seria tudo um Dorama que eles fossem protagonista ou a história deles né, mas enfim. ASISTAM MUITO BOM!!!

One of the best short dramas I've watched with the "transmigrated into a novel and returned to the 1970s" premise. While this concept has become quite common in Chinese short dramas, this one stands out thanks to its engaging story, solid pacing, and likable characters.

Unlike many of his previous roles where he leans heavily into comedy, Li Meng Ran plays a much more serious and mature character this time, and she does it convincingly. It was nice to see a different side of his acting, and he carried the emotional moments well.

My biggest disappointment was the female lead's magical necklace. It had the potential to become one of the most interesting aspects of the story, but its special dimension and abilities were barely explored or used in meaningful ways. It often felt like an afterthought rather than an important part of the plot.

The ending also feels a bit rushed. Once the conflicts with the village villains are resolved, the story wraps up very quickly without giving enough time to properly conclude the characters' journeys. Still, that's a common limitation of Chinese short dramas, where runtime often forces the finale to move at breakneck speed.

I'm Glad I Got to Live at the Same Time This Series Existed—and Experience It Every Week.

I've been waiting every Saturday for this series, and now that it's over... I'm surprisingly at peace.
I have no regrets.
This is one of those rare dramas that kept making me smile, scream, admire, laugh, and even worry every single week, then gave me an ending that felt completely satisfying. I don't desperately need a Season 2 because the story already gave me everything I wanted.

What impressed me the most wasn't only the romance. It was the directing.
The camera work, sound design, music, expressions, breathing, silence, action scenes... everything worked together to create emotion. There were so many scenes where I simply thought, "Beautiful." Not only visually beautiful, but emotionally beautiful too.
The acting deserves so much praise. Their eyes can act. The chemistry feels incredibly convincing, and every intimate scene serves the emotions instead of existing just for fan service. I honestly think this series has some of the best-directed intimate scenes I've ever watched. Every look, every pause, every breath felt natural.
The revenge story was another highlight. I love smart characters and stories where people solve problems intelligently instead of forcing drama through stupid decisions. The final revenge was satisfying, well-earned, and made me feel, "Yes... this is exactly how it should end."

Of course, it isn't perfect.
As someone who also read the manhwa, I definitely noticed that many scenes had to be cut to fit only ten episodes. Sometimes I wished certain moments had more room to breathe, and I missed seeing more of Sun's intelligence from the original work. That was probably my biggest disappointment.
However, I also understand the challenge of adapting around ninety+ chapters into only ten episodes. Instead of trying to copy everything, the series chose to focus on atmosphere, emotion, and visual storytelling. In many ways, I actually prefer the drama's execution over the manhwa. The directing elevated so many scenes beyond what I imagined while reading.

What made me happiest was the ending.
They got their happy ending without losing themselves. They stayed wonderfully chaotic, clever, and completely true to who they were from the beginning. Their relationship didn't change their personalities—it simply let them face the future together.
That was exactly what I hoped for.

Vale la pena vedere Payback?

Ho iniziato a vedere questa serie da quando è uscito l'episodio 8 (quindi con l'opportunità di vedere quasi tutta la serie di fila) ma ammetto che, se l'avessi seguita un episodio a settimana, non ci avrei capito NULLA.

Per i primi episodi mi è risultato facile capire la trama e la storia, ma mi sono un po persa quando Jay ha capito che il ragazzo vestito da coniglietto rosa fosse Sun (episodio 6), e perché Sun ci ha messo tanto per capire che il ragazzo con cui è stato quella notte fosse Jay? (episodio 8)

Apprezzo molto come hanno dedicato quasi un intero episodio a Sky 👍 e che alla fine della serie è riuscito a diventare un attore famoso.

Non ho capito molto il personaggi di Sunny e perché ha una fine così... triste direi. 🤨
Non mi è sembrata molto necessaria la scena dove "fa fuori" un ragazzo nella piscina di Songphon.
Inoltre perché la sua carriera da attore è finita dopo la morte di Songphon? Forse mi sono persa qualche parte 😐

Parlando della fine, sono rimasta un po delusa o meglio dire confusa. La fine mi sembra molto affrettata, quindi sarebbe stata meglio una serie da 12 episodi.
L'ultimissima scena di JaySun sul tetto molto carina 🥹

Direi un Cast molto azzeccato e recitazione top.
La musica INCREDIBILE, la canzone nell'intro l'ho trovata molto bella e difficile da saltare 🔥
Purtroppo non consiglio un rewatch, sarebbe solo perdita di tempo 😅 ma riguarderei volentieri qualche scena NC, visto che sono sembrate reali 😳

Spero facciano un episodio speciale perché mi piacerebbe molto vedere qualche scena extra di JaySun 🤭
