China continues to dominate!!
once again, China dominates in all genres! okay, so first of all the story was so interesting because it was a movie within a drama, and to be honest I would have totally watched that movie! chemistry was great, acting was great, pacing was fantastic, kept me intrigued from the very first episode! the therapist character in the "movie" probably needed to have some form of realism, because that was the worst therapist on the planet! but it goes with the drama 😆 although I am not a fan of the massive time jump, this does have a year-long time jump at the end, but it is a happy ending, which always makes me glad! I would recommend watching this, although to just give warning if this is something that you are shy about, this is a fairly mature film, not horribly so, but I probably wouldn't watch it with my mother 🤔, but I do wish China did the BL scene more, because honestly, China is the best of the Asian dramas! in my humble opinion 😉¿Te ha parecido útil esta reseña?
safe bet, romance, revenge
Its an easy going, facepacing vertical drama. this drama had many versions before, yet it is easy to watch.I like the make ups, costumes considering as a vertical drama.
Leads have great chemistry, the director and the production team managed to show their on screen chemistry with lots of kisses and intimacy. at least we can see a female actress shoulder in a wedding night. the most of the dramas which i still dont get it, all the clothes are on yet the FL gets pregnanant 😂😂😂
If you like romance and less misunderstanding, go for it.
The ending is satisfing. revenge is served!

O maior problema desse kdrama é ter tido apenas 8 episódios, porque tinha material para pelo menos 12 eps.Teve um começo legal, mas deixou muito a desejar ao decorrer dos episódios. Não é uma história ruim, mas tinha potencial para ser melhor. Não tinha necessidade de adicionar uma carga dramática envolvendo os protagonistas, já que, no fim, isso foi feito de forma muito tosca.
(Imagino que por ter tido apenas 8 episódios, atrapalhou o desenvolvimento.)
Poderia ter sido só um besteirol leve, com mais momentos descontraídos entre os protagonistas, já que o casal tinha química.

Uma história que retrata a vida real
⚠️Contém spoilers!!!!Demorei um tempo para assistir a esse dorama por causa dos comentários sobre o quão triste ele é. Os episódios nos causam um aperto no coração, principalmente se a gente passou por determinada situação que foi retratada em algum episódio. Porém, mesmo sendo triste, vamos nos apaixonando cada vez mais pela série ao longo dos episódios.
Uma coisa que eu deixo bem relevante aqui é o amor entre os personagens principais (Oh Ae-sun e Yang Gwan-sik). É impressionante o carinho que ele tem por ela e o quanto ele a coloca em primeiro lugar. É o tipo de amor meio 'clichê' só por ser raro na vida real.
Chorei bastante em cada episódio e quase parei de assistir na cena em que o filhinho amado de Ae-sun morreu. Foi uma das cenas mais tristes e que, se eu assistisse a essa série novamente, pularia essa parte só para não sentir um desconforto no coração. Também tem a cena da morte do pai. Aquilo me desidratou de tanto chorar.
Tirando essas partes difíceis, tiveram algumas cenas em que fiquei irritada com as atitudes da Ae-sun: o fato de ela sempre querer provar para outras pessoas o quão é melhor em algo ou mostrar algo de bom que tem na vida (isso já na fase adulta). Porém, acho que é só um traço da personalidade dela diante de tudo o que passou mesmo. Também não gostei de como ela tratava o filho dela. Só ela sabe o que é não receber o amor de pessoas próximas ou não ter alguém do seu lado para te ajudar nas coisas.
Poderia escrever todos os sentimentos que senti assistindo a ele, mas isso faria a resenha ficar enorme, visto que cada episódio é uma mistura de sentimentos diferentes.
Achei o final bem desenvolvido e legal. Mostrou a Ae-sun finalmente realizando o seu sonho e retratando como a vida realmente é (sempre tem um final).
É um dorama para refletir sobre a vida. Refletir sobre os seus atos e costumes do passado e do presente, e também para assistirmos em dias frios tomando algo quente.
(Ponto especial: a trilha sonora maravilhosa!!! Sério, cada uma é perfeita para o dorama e deixa a gente com o coração mais quentinho.)

still chaotic, still in love
Sequels often struggle to justify their existence, but Peach and Me never feels unnecessary. This four-episode follow-up to Me and Thee doesn't try to recreate the magic of the original—it builds on it. While the first series was about falling in love, this special explores the harder and arguably more rewarding part: staying in love. It reminds us that marriage isn't the ending of a romance but the start of an entirely new chapter.Thee and Peach remain every bit as lovable as before. Thee is still hilariously dramatic and wonderfully over-the-top, but he's also noticeably more mature. One of my favourite moments is when he keeps the promise he made long before they were married by encouraging Peach to return to work. His quiet reassurance that he never wanted Peach to lose himself because he chose love says everything about how much he's grown as a husband. Peach, meanwhile, continues balancing his dreams with married life, creating conflicts that feel authentic without resorting to frustrating misunderstandings.
What impressed me most is that Peach and Me never feels like fan service for the sake of fan service. It absolutely delivers the moments longtime fans wanted, but the screenplay by VANGVELA and the direction of Nattapong Mongkolsawat never sacrifice storytelling to get there. The emotional beats still land, the comedy still works, and the characters continue to evolve in meaningful ways. Despite its short runtime, the series manages to add genuine depth and substance to its world.
The sequel also keeps everything that made Me and Thee so entertaining. It's every bit as outrageous, exaggerated and delightfully over-the-top as the original, and I honestly found myself laughing just as hard—if not harder. The humour remains wonderfully absurd without losing sight of the heart underneath it all.
I also appreciated the attention to detail. Small touches speak volumes about the characters' growth, from Thee updating his iconic wolf tattoo into one featuring a peach in its mouth, to Mok switching from shooting with his right hand to his left to better complement Rome. Even Rome's gradually completed tattoo quietly reflects his own personal journey. These little visual details reward longtime viewers and make the world feel lived in.
Despite lasting only four episodes, the series gives nearly everyone meaningful development. Peach and Plub's childhood trauma receives welcome context, Rome's rise as Arseni's new leader finally makes complete sense, and Aran and Tawan's relationship gets the closure it deserved. I wasn't originally convinced they should end up together, but the series earns it by showing that healthy relationships take time and growth. Tawan no longer being jealous by the finale was one of the sweetest signs of that progress.
Rome and Mok finally getting their happy ending felt incredibly satisfying, made even better by Mok and Thee's quiet promise to always remain friends, even in secret. Moments like these prove that the emotional core of the series extends well beyond its central couple.
The scene that affected me most was Peach's photography exhibition. As he reflects on their journey, he tells Thee that every promise he ever made was kept. There's nothing flashy about the scene, but that's exactly why it works. It's sincere, understated and genuinely moving.
Then there's the finale's hilarious recreation of Me and Thee, directed by Thee himself and featuring real GMMTV pairings. It was chaotic, self-aware and one of the funniest sequences in the entire franchise. As an added bonus, I honestly think Tay Tawan and Newwie Thitipoom could have pulled off older versions of Thee and Peach brilliantly.
Most importantly, Peach and Me never breaks or contradicts what came before. It honours the original series while giving its characters richer emotional closure and showing that their lives continue beyond the wedding. It may only be four episodes long, but it adds far more heart, depth and satisfaction than many full-length sequels ever manage.

eu gostei muito de me and thee, acho uma série bem redonda, por assim dizer, tinha certeza que seria bem divertido esse especials.mas existe algo muito pertinente que veio me incomodando durante os eps, eu sinto que não consiguiram passar muita intimidade em um casal que já é casado e tem filhos, vendo eles eu sinto que aindam estão na fase do namoro, medo de deitar no ombro em publico, sempre que vão dar um cheirinho fica se limitando e em alerta pra ninguém ver?? nesse último ep mesmo, eles estão em um local afastado e o peach sempre esse cuidado todo??? existem casais tímidos e tenho ciência mas aqui passa mais falta de intimidade mesmo
um ponto e que não estou falando pra eles se amassarem na rua, mas existem maneiras de mostrar intimidade de um casal, enfim
a trama do casal secundário foi legal de acompanhar, gosto muiiiitooo de romemok e acho o problema deles foi algo interessante de desenvolver, queria ter visto muito mais, mas entendo :)
sobre o casal terciário…. eu entendo a indignação do fandom deles, acho que ficou muito ambíguo sobre em que fase eles estão, um deles ainda está muito traumatizado e o outro se redimindo, então eles não desenvolveram muito e ficou por isso msm, achei meio ble

Seis episódios foram pouco!!
Gosto muito de doramas com essa pegada, então, obviamente, gostei desse também. Me lembrou bastante Sweet Home e Stranger Things por causa dos efeitos visuais e da forma como os parasitas se manifestam nos humanos.O fato de ter somente seis episódios me deixou intrigada, porque dava para desenvolver muito mais a história. Ainda assim, acho que o diretor fez isso de propósito para deixar um suspense no ar e gerar mais teorias sobre o que ainda pode acontecer, caso tenha outra temporada (que, pelas cenas do último episódio, provavelmente terá).
Queria muito saber de onde surgiram esses parasitas, se vieram de outro planeta ou algo do tipo. Também fiquei curiosa para saber se isso aconteceu em outras cidades ou países que não foram citados no dorama. E o que vai acontecer com a Su-in? Ela vai viver com esse parasita dentro dela para sempre?
Não achei a história mal desenvolvida. Como tudo ainda estava no começo, eles conseguiram conter a situação antes que virasse algo global, como acontece em algumas séries de zumbis.
Espero que a próxima temporada chegue logo!!

For me, Payback was a truly unique BL. It had been a long time since I had looked forward to a Saturday with so much excitement. It completely changed my weekend routine—I made sure to be free at the exact time a new episode was released.
I had never read the webtoon, but I fell in love with the series from the very first episode.
As the story progressed, I realized that ten episodes would never be enough to do it justice, and unfortunately, I was right.
If I have one major disappointment with this production, it is its rushed and emotionally underwhelming ending.
I honestly don't understand Thai productions sometimes. When a series is genuinely good, wins over the audience, and has a committed cast, they shorten it. Yet when a production is mediocre, it gets dragged out far longer than necessary. Payback deserved at least two more episodes.
The raw, realistic, and difficult portrayal of the entertainment industry was heartbreaking. Knowing that the events depicted are inspired by realities that still exist is a painful reminder of how far we are from achieving basic human decency. It was genuinely shocking.
On the other hand, I have to say that this series features some of the most passionate and beautiful kisses I've ever seen between BL leads. Wow! Beautiful, sensual, and perfectly supported by their incredible chemistry, Min and Toptap completely stole the show. I don't think I'll forget those brilliantly filmed intimate scenes in Episode 8 anytime soon.
I can only hope this pair gets to work together again very soon—preferably in a more romantic story and a much less toxic one.
Had it not been for the final episode, where even the long-awaited revenge arcs failed to deliver a satisfying conclusion, my rating would have been a perfect 10.
Even with its plot holes, this was still an excellent production. Wonderfully engaging, irresistibly captivating, and absolutely worth watching.
And those kisses... my God!

Well I finished this for Fomo and I also thought we'd get a bit more screen time for RomeMok, but nothing. I was watching it for williamest btw.I also had to pause a bit at the comment made by Mok about Mira being a woman, was that necessary?
My other issue is the lack of natural closeness between peach and thee, they don't properly sell the 'being madly in love' with each other story. You'd expect a couple that's in their honeymoon phase to be a little more lovey dovey. And I think this also has to do with the lack of chemistry between ppw, yeah I said what I said.
I just completed A dog and a plane and that kind of chemistry, natural facial expressions and gestures is what I was expecting from our married couple, but I couldn't find it.
Other than that, I quite enjoyed the last episode when the auditions began. It was so hilarious 😂...

Deep In is a 10/10 for me. The script is well written and consistent, and there isn't a single episode where I felt bored. The acting was excellent. Ollie and Shu Yuan did an amazing job portraying two roles each. Their performances were so convincing that, to me, Zhen Xin and Fang Chi, as well as Zhang Zhun and Gao Zhun, each had their own unique personalities that made them feel like completely different characters.Some people said we didn't get a second couple, but for me, we did. Fang Chi and Gao Zhun were the second couple.
To Director Wen Dao and the entire production team, you did an incredible job. Thank you for bringing Deep In to life. Thank you for trusting this young cast, especially Ollie and Shu Yuan. And thank you for bringing us joy every Friday and Saturday.
I'm really sad that it's over, but I'm also so happy for Ollie and Shu Yuan. I truly hope they'll have many successful projects in the future.

Chen Yi is the imperfectly perfect male lead
This drama felt very unique to me; maybe it’s because I haven’t watched enough c-dramas. I loved the 1990s setting, the atmosphere and cinematography felt oddly comforting and warm, even when it was clear that Chen Yi and Miao Jing did not live very comfortable lives. The story starts off with Chen Yi and Miao Jing being forced together in one home as their Jing’s mum begins a relationship with Yi’s dad out of convenience. Both come from very broken families; Yi’s dad is extremely abusive and Jing’s mother only seems to care about money. Despite some people’s confusion, Jing and Yi are NOT biological siblings, they aren’t related in any way and Jing wasn’t even adopted into Yi’s family. So their romantic relationship is not weird. Eventually, circumstances lead to Yi having to take care of Jing financially and he essentially takes on the burden of being her caregiver while also falling in love with her during their teen years. How do I start describing Chen Yi? He is the definition of ‘I will take care of it, don’t worry.’ He cares for and loves Miao Jing in every way and their relationship unfolding in their teen years was genuinely one of the most beautiful portrayals of love I’ve ever seen. As I watched each episode, it was clear that Chen Yi ONLY cared about Miao Jing; every decision he made seemed to be with her in mind, even at the expense of his own safety. Circumstances lead to them being separated and their reunion is adulthood unfolded very slowly. In adulthood, Miao Jing is an auditor who is investigating the company Chen Yi works for, and they end up getting involved in danger. Obviously, there’s some tension as Chen Yi doesn’t want Miao Jing to get hurt, but there’s also a lot of misunderstandings because of this. I think the chemistry of the leads really made this drama so good!Most of what people will criticise including me, is the dragging of the auditing report thing. I genuinely still don’t completely understand what the danger was or why so many scenes were focused on the auditing, but it got really boring at some points, so I definitely skipped through some scenes.
Also, Cen Ye (the second lead) was SO annoying. Usually, I at least sympathise for the second male leads in dramas but this guy pissed me off. I felt sorry for Chen Yi’s fake gf at times and at least she backed off eventually - her story was really sad to be honest.
Overall, the main leads makes this drama a 9-9.5/10 - I’ve watched so many dramas but this couple will stay with me for a longggg time! I think this is worth the watch if you’re looking for a slow-burn childhood enemies to lovers kind of c-drama!

Amei acompanhar, mas...
De uma forma geral, amei acompanhar Deep In.Gostei da atuação dos protagonistas (que são lindíssimos e têm uma química maravilhosa), amei a fotografia e achei a trilha sonora incrível. Porém, há alguns pontos sobre a história que não me permitiram dar uma nota maior e que fizeram com que esse drama não se tornasse um dos meus favoritos.
Gostei bastante da história do ZhenXin e do ZhangZhun (comecei o drama por esse plot dos atores que ficam tão imersos nos personagens que acabam se apaixonando na vida real, aliás).
Porém, não curti tantoooo assim a história do FangChi e do GaoZhun. Realmente não é o tipo de história que me atrai e, se fosse um BL à parte, eu nem começaria a assistir. Não gosto da forma como o relacionamento deles começa e, além disso, me senti meio incomodada com a forma que o tópico do abuso sexual é tratado no relacionamento deles em alguns momentos, achei alguns dialógos sobre esse assunto um pouco indelicados e até problemáticos.
O plot twist do final também pode ser algo meio confuso. Na verdade, sinto que não peguei totalmente na hora em que estava assistindo e precisei ver algumas explicações para entender completamente.
Enfim, apesar dos pontos negativos, foi um drama que me prendeu muito, me deixou apegada a alguns personagens e com o qual me diverti muito assistindo.

Not enough payback
At the start of this show, I really loved it. A main character is driven by revenge against his ex, only to discover his ex's now successful life as an actor is embedded within a much larger, systemically corrupt problem. From the outside, and the first few episodes, this looked like something I would love. Unfortunately, as the show went on, it became more about our main character's career as an actor and less about the actual revenge.Sun (Min) was once in a happy relationship with Bank (Fuaiz), but that ended when Bank took Sun's money, ran off to become an actor, and left him with no way to pay for his mother's cancer treatment. Sun becomes hell bent on getting revenge, and after paying his mother's medical debt, is sick and tired of seeing Bank's face, who now goes by the name Sunny, on billboards. Sun auditions for the same entertainment company as Sunny in order to drag him down from the inside, and discovers a much more corrupt system than he expected.
Min as Sun was perfect - he totally delivered the cold, emotionless Sun. Plus, watching Toptap as the love interest was great. Did I enjoy the relationship dynamic between them as they fell in love? Honestly, not at all. It felt predatory, and like Sun was a victim of the very system he was seeking to destroy. Still, the actors did a great job portraying the characters even though I found Jay (Toptap) to be kind of unbearable for most of the show. I will say, if you're going into this thinking it's some crazy revenge thriller, it honestly isn't. This is more about the story of Sun's life as he struggles to claw his way out of debt, motivated only by revenge, and the way he falls in love as he's pursuing this. While still a great show, I think the revenge portion deserved way more time that it got.
