Did not meet my expectations.............

(Note: I have no hate whatsoever on the actors and this review is entirely on the show) Me and thee was such a great show, a show that really had me laughing and genuinely enjoyed with the progressive romance. So I expected more from PAM to be more of a romance with a slight comedy and even the trailer shows that theepeach was all domestic and stuf. So that's what I expected.........

I might get hate from saying this but first off I know that there will be 4 couples in total, so even before ep 1 I was really worried how they can balance the four couples so as expected they did not (Lmfao 😭). Even We Are was more balance than this show. Tbh I wanted more Theepeach, like maybe I'm okay with a lot of couples but only if they show some domestic and sweet and more intimate scene other than ep 1. Not saying I wanted something similar like corn but I wanted more make-out sessions, a proper cuddle (not a side hug or cuddle ahahhaha), explore more dating stuff, play with the kids. Just all that mellow or typical romance stuff. But I feel like they focus more on comedy or image of the characters which is dissapointing.

Also for ep4 in all honesty it was a let down like why tf did we not get a kiss scene or even a peck. Also why is Peach acting a bit shock when your lit HUSBAND is going to rest his head on your shoulder. I genuinely felt second hand embarrassment with that scene. I did not expect they will do the snoring or nc scene but come on not even a makeout scene like I expected something similar like Me and Thee (peach house bed scene).

But Overall I truly love this characters but the execution and overall romance was a bit of a let down. I hope Pondphuwin next show would be similar to Nlmg where the director really show the tension and intimacy between the characters. Also kinda wanted it to be a serious or angst show so they can showcase or challenge their acting skills while also exploring and showcasing more variations of their emotions.

A drama that will make you say "Awwww"

Trigger Warning-this drama does contain sexual harassment, but nothing more. The actins of the ML would be categorized in real life, as sexual harassment of an employee for sure, which is never acceptable. But this is just a drama and not real life, so toxicity is okay as along as it doesn't bleed into reality. Enough of the disclaimers and on to the drama review.

This is one of those dramas where "Awwww" seems to be what comes out of your mouth while watching it. It is fun, feisty, romantic, steamy and a wonderful opposites attract couple type of story. I loved the story, the side characters were hilarious which made the drama even better. Less than 12 episodes, so there is little time spend on filler and I like how the drama touched on societal pressures of same sex couples and was pleased with the supportive moms. The second ML has a smile that could light up a room....truly a sweetheart. Super nice chemistry between the leads, just enough angst to keep you involved in the story and my required happy ending.

Started watching this first partner after watching the original Kung Fu Cult Master movie starring Jet Li. First thing first, I felt that the synopsis given to this movie was a bit misleading, since this movie didn't quite continue off from the 1993 movie, but a full remake which covered more or less the same amount of plot of the original movie.

While it's understandable that this movie wouldn't quite be an exact remake of the original 1993 movie but still based on the last arc of Jinyong's Legend of the Condor Heroes trilogy, I can't help feeling bothered at how some of the important scenes were completely changed in this one; like the circumstances of Zhang Cuishan's and Yan So-so's death was different and how Mo-Kei's was hurt from the Jinx palm, as well as how Mo-Kei's life had been prior to learning the Great Solar skill and leaving Wudang. Had this movie just mention that this would just be yet another adaptation of the Heaven Sword and Dragon Sabre, I probably wouldn't be too harsh on this movie's critique... but since it claimed to be a continuation of the 1993's Kung Fu Cult Master I couldn't help feeling duped somehow. Otherwise you can just enjoy this movie as another adaptation of HSaDS novel.

A Japanese Remake That Gives a Beloved Story Fresh New Charm

I don't normally watch Japanese remakes of Thai dramas because they often feel lower budget and are much shorter than the original versions. Still, I absolutely loved the Thai version of Your Sky, so I decided to give this one a chance, and it did not disappoint. One episode in and I already have butterflies.

Ayuta is absolutely adorable as Hinata. He captures the kind hearted, innocent, and optimistic personality perfectly, making him impossible not to love. This is the second time I've seen him after School Trip: Joined a Group I'm Not Close To, where he played a supporting role, and he has such a warm and friendly screen presence.

Isshin is also well cast as Sora. He perfectly matches the cold, protective, and intimidating senior from the original. As the feared campus prince, he has the right balance of toughness and hidden softness, and his chemistry with Ayuta already feels natural.

The biggest surprise for me, though, is Oji. Even as Sora's love rival and a supporting character, he completely steals every scene he's in. He is incredibly handsome and charismatic, and I honestly couldn't take my eyes off him.

One thing I really appreciate is that the remake isn't a scene for scene copy. It keeps the fake relationship premise and university setting but adds its own small changes to keep things fresh. In the Thai version, Hinata is rescued and is supposed to get into the car, but in this remake version Sora carries him home on his back instead. That scene was so cute and adorable. The beautiful city skyline in the background made it feel much more refreshing than simply sitting in a car, and it gave them the chance to have a sweet conversation in the fresh air.

After just the first episode, I'm completely hooked. I hope the series continues making thoughtful changes like this while staying true to what made the original so special. So far, this is probably the best Thai to Japanese remake I've seen.

If you enjoy romance, university settings, fake relationships that slowly become real, and sweet BL+ stories with lovable characters, this is definitely worth watching.

A self-redemption journey

Usually you see self-loathing people escaping through drugs, alcohol, or some form of vice. Here? I can say what a take! You have a main character on a tremendous guilt trip; instead of lashing out, he bottles up all his emotions beyond numbness. But emotions cannot be bottled forever, so, when certain facts come to light, rage takes the driver's seat and sets a course on Revenge Highway.

This series has pain, fear, grief, joy, greed, rage, intrigue, loathing, and various characters that provide depth to the story. Trust building between the leads was sweet but layered with intrigue and power plays. The uncle and manager characters did an excellent job diffusing the high tension in the series with their comedic relief.

I was concerned that the story would not wrap up properly with 10 episodes, and more so after the events of episode 9. I was surprised that they were able to tighten everything. Even though this series would have benefited from having several more episodes, it concluded the plot well. The ending left me satisfied and yearning for more.

O nome do k-drama deveria ser: ''A Promotora Militar Cha Woo In''

Sinceramente, gostei bastante da premissa, mas odiei a forma como o drama utilizou os flashforwards. Em vez de criar expectativa, eles só quebravam o ritmo da narrativa.

O meu maior problema, porém, foi o protagonista. Doh Bae Man parece muito mais um coadjuvante do que o personagem principal. Quem realmente recebe destaque do início ao fim é a Cha Woo In. Até as maracutaias e estratégias que ele arma (que, diga-se de passagem, são bem legais) não foram suficientes para fazê-lo parecer um protagonista marcante. Fiquei decepcionado porque gosto muito do ator e esperava bem mais do personagem.

Tudo gira em torno da Cha Woo In. Em diversos momentos, a impressão é de que ela é a promotora experiente, enquanto Doh Bae Man é apenas o novato que está aprendendo. O mais curioso é que, no final, justamente ela abandona a carreira de promotora militar para assumir a empresa do falecido pai. Depois de todo o esforço mostrado para conquistar aquele cargo, essa decisão acabou me parecendo contraditória.

O episódio 12 resume perfeitamente o meu problema com o protagonismo. O protagonista, Doh Bae Man, simplesmente não exerce seu papel de promotor. Quem assume a acusação contra Hong Moo Seob e expõe seus abusos de poder é a Cha Woo In. Isso me incomodou porque os acontecimentos desse episódio (e também do anterior) construíam justamente a oportunidade perfeita para o Bae Man se redimir pelo erro cometido um ano antes, quando foi conivente com a injustiça sofrida por uma vítima de abuso de poder, que acabou tirando a própria vida. Era o momento ideal para ele conduzir a acusação, mas o drama entrega esse momento à Cha Woo In. Para um drama chamado O Promotor Militar Dobermann, isso acabou sendo bastante frustrante.

Outra situação que achei estranha foi a reação do Doh Bae Man ao descobrir que a Cha Woo In havia se encontrado secretamente com a Noh Hwa Young na noite anterior para colocar a sua subordinada como testemunha. Em vez de haver qualquer conflito ou cobrança pela falta de transparência, ele simplesmente agradece a ela como se nada tivesse acontecido mesmo ela se desculpando por não ter contado antes.

Também preciso comentar sobre o romance secundário. Normalmente não me incomodo quando um casal surge de forma inesperada, mas o relacionamento entre a tia do protagonista e o chefe dele me pareceu extremamente forçado e completamente desnecessário. Para piorar, ainda colocaram um filho no final, como se o drama precisasse cumprir a obrigação de encaixar um romance. Preferia que tivessem investido esse tempo desenvolvendo melhor a relação entre os protagonistas, que acabou sendo bem morna.

Agora, se teve um personagem que realmente roubou a cena, esse foi o Noh Tae Nam. De longe, foi o personagem mais interessante do drama.

Também vale mencionar que, no geral, gosto muito dos dramas produzidos pela tvN, mas este acabou sendo, até o momento, o mais fraco que assisti do canal. Isso tornou a decepção ainda maior, porque minhas expectativas eram bem altas.

Apesar de todas essas críticas, preciso reconhecer que os temas abordados são muito bem trabalhados. O drama faz críticas consistentes aos abusos de poder, à corrupção dentro das instituições militares e às relações de influência, entregando uma mensagem forte e relevante. É justamente por isso que fico com a sensação de que o roteiro desperdiçou um protagonista que tinha potencial para ser muito melhor.

Overdo: A Drama That Only Gets Better

Overdo is one of those dramas that gradually gets under your skin. The first five episodes might not completely pull you in, and you may even wonder if it's worth continuing. But once you get past that point, the story picks up dramatically. From then on, it's incredibly addictive—you'll find yourself saying "just one more episode" until you realise you've lost sleep.

The acting is one of the drama's biggest strengths. The cast delivers convincing performances, making the characters feel real and emotionally engaging. The cinematography is also impressive most of the time, with beautiful visuals that complement the story well.

The love-hate relationship is another highlight. It has plenty of tension, chemistry, and emotional push-and-pull that keeps you invested without feeling forced.

Overall, Overdo is a slow-burn drama that rewards patience. If you can get through the first few episodes, you're likely to end up binge-watching the rest.

Not the best CGI, but one of the greatest love stories the xianxia genre has ever created.

There is a reason why Eternal Love continues to be regarded as one of the greatest xianxia dramas ever made. Nearly a decade after its release, countless productions have surpassed it in terms of CGI, cinematography, and action choreography. Yet very few have managed to replicate the emotional depth, narrative scale, and timeless romance that made this drama a defining classic of the genre.

At its core, Eternal Love is not simply a fantasy romance. It is a story about destiny, sacrifice, identity, responsibility, and the enduring power of love across thousands of years. Every major event—whether in the Heavenly Realm, Qing Qiu, or the Mortal Realm—contributes to a much larger narrative, making the world feel expansive and alive instead of existing merely as a backdrop for romance.

The drama takes its time building relationships, political conflicts, family dynamics, and heavenly laws before delivering emotional payoffs. While this slower pacing may feel overwhelming at first, it allows every sacrifice and every reunion to carry genuine emotional weight.

The romance between Ye Hua and Bai Qian remains one of the strongest reasons why this drama has stood the test of time.

Unlike many xianxia couples who fall in love almost immediately, their relationship is built through tragedy, misunderstandings, separation, rediscovery, and unwavering devotion. Their love story is not easy, nor is it idealized. Instead, it constantly asks one question:

How much are you willing to sacrifice for the person you love?

Ye Hua answers that question over and over again.

Rather than expressing his love through endless confessions, he proves it through his actions. He chooses responsibility over personal happiness, silently carries burdens that no one else understands, protects Bai Qian even when she hates him, and ultimately sacrifices his own life to save all realms. What makes him one of the greatest xianxia male leads is that his love is never possessive or selfish—it is quiet, patient, and unconditional.

Bai Qian complements him perfectly.

She is neither a damsel in distress nor a heroine who exists solely to support the male lead. She is powerful, intelligent, emotionally mature, and carries centuries of wisdom. Even after experiencing betrayal, heartbreak, and the loss of her memories as Susu, she never loses her dignity. Watching her gradually rediscover both herself and Ye Hua creates one of the most satisfying emotional journeys in xianxia.

Their chemistry is strengthened by mutual respect rather than dependence. They stand as equals—both burdened by responsibilities, both willing to sacrifice everything for each other.

One of the drama's greatest achievements is how it portrays love as something that survives beyond memory itself.

Even when memories disappear, emotions remain.

Even when identities change, hearts recognize each other.

Even when death separates them, destiny refuses to let their story end.

That emotional consistency is what makes their romance unforgettable.

Beyond romance, Eternal Love also excels in portraying the burdens of immortality. Being a god is not portrayed as a blessing but as an endless cycle of duty, sacrifice, loneliness, and impossible choices. Heavenly status does not grant happiness; instead, it demands that personal desires be sacrificed for the greater good. This philosophical approach gives the story far more depth than a typical fantasy romance.

The supporting cast also deserves recognition. Characters such as Feng Jiu, Dong Hua, Mo Yuan, Zhe Yan, and even many of the Heavenly officials enrich the world and make it feel like an interconnected universe rather than a story revolving around only two protagonists. Even the antagonists contribute meaningfully by representing pride, obsession, jealousy, and the destructive consequences of selfish desire.

That being said, the drama is not flawless.

Its age is most noticeable in the CGI and visual effects. While impressive for 2017, modern audiences accustomed to today's large-scale fantasy productions will immediately notice the limitations. Some action scenes, particularly magical combat, lack the visual grandeur expected from battles involving supreme gods.

My biggest disappointment, however, is the final battle.

After nearly sixty episodes of building Qing Cang into an overwhelming threat capable of destroying all realms, the climax feels surprisingly short. The emotional sacrifice is undeniably powerful, but the battle itself never reaches the epic scale the story seemed to promise. Considering how much anticipation surrounded the final confrontation, I expected a longer and more visually spectacular conclusion.

The ending itself is emotionally satisfying, but I still felt that something important was missing.
From the beginning of the story, Ye Hua and Bai Qian's marriage was treated as one of the most anticipated events across the realms. Their union carried political, historical, and emotional significance long before they truly fell in love.

After everything they endured—three lifetimes of suffering, endless misunderstandings, heavenly trials, sacrifices, and even death—I genuinely wished the audience had been rewarded with their long-awaited official wedding ceremony.

Likewise, I would have loved to see a glimpse of their future as the Heavenly Emperor and Empress. Those final moments could have served as the perfect conclusion to a story built upon duty, sacrifice, and destiny.

Despite these shortcomings, they never overshadow what Eternal Love accomplished.

This drama became the blueprint for countless xianxia series that followed. Many of the genre's most recognizable tropes—mortal trials, heavenly tribulations, soul fragments, ancient destinies, forbidden love, and sacrificial male leads—were either popularized or redefined through this series. Even today, its influence can still be seen across modern xianxia productions.

Ultimately, Eternal Love succeeds because it understands that the greatest fantasy stories are never about magic alone.

They are about people.

About choosing love despite pain.

About fulfilling responsibility despite personal loss.

About waiting thousands of years if that is what destiny demands.

And about believing that true love does not disappear with time, memory, or even death.

Nearly ten years later, it remains one of the defining masterpieces of the xianxia genre—not because it is technically perfect, but because it tells a timeless story that continues to resonate long after the final episode ends.

A true xianxia classic that every fantasy romance fan should experience at least once. While the visual effects and final battle have aged, its unforgettable romance, emotional storytelling, and profound themes continue to stand among the very best the genre has ever offered.

Best BL I've watched so far

It's my first time writing a review here, so, forgive me if it's not that good + english is not my first language.

I wasn't expecting much, but i've got to a point where I would count the days until the next episode arrives, and even read the source material. I genuinely loved this drama so much, to the point I just couldn't stop talking about it for weeks.
The writing is really great, it gets to a point where you also lose yourself between what is only acting and what is reality alongside the main characters. The thing I loved about the writing, is that I could see where the story would go just by paying attention to the movie scenes. The characters also feel really human, not only they are really charismatic but they are also flawed, they commit mistakes, they made me be really mad at them sometimes, but they also aren't inherently bad or good.
The acting is also top tier, It's crazy to me to think that this is ollie's first major appearance because he captured zhen xin's personality so well!! Everyone's acting is so good to the point It genuinely felt real. Also, I'm not a person who enjoys spicy scenes that much(i'm asexual)but if you enjoy, you're going to love this one.
(Also, the only reason why I didn't give that much of a high rating to the OST is because the songs aren't really my cup of tea, but they are good!)

I wish I could give an 1000/10 to Deep In, it is genuinely a masterpiece that I would recommend to anyone(if they're willing to get a little mad regarding the characters, lol)

China continues to dominate!!

once again, China dominates in all genres! okay, so first of all the story was so interesting because it was a movie within a drama, and to be honest I would have totally watched that movie! chemistry was great, acting was great, pacing was fantastic, kept me intrigued from the very first episode! the therapist character in the "movie" probably needed to have some form of realism, because that was the worst therapist on the planet! but it goes with the drama 😆 although I am not a fan of the massive time jump, this does have a year-long time jump at the end, but it is a happy ending, which always makes me glad! I would recommend watching this, although to just give warning if this is something that you are shy about, this is a fairly mature film, not horribly so, but I probably wouldn't watch it with my mother 🤔, but I do wish China did the BL scene more, because honestly, China is the best of the Asian dramas! in my humble opinion 😉

safe bet, romance, revenge

Its an easy going, facepacing vertical drama. this drama had many versions before, yet it is easy to watch.
I like the make ups, costumes considering as a vertical drama.
Leads have great chemistry, the director and the production team managed to show their on screen chemistry with lots of kisses and intimacy. at least we can see a female actress shoulder in a wedding night. the most of the dramas which i still dont get it, all the clothes are on yet the FL gets pregnanant 😂😂😂
If you like romance and less misunderstanding, go for it.
The ending is satisfing. revenge is served!

poderia ter sido melhor

O maior problema desse kdrama é ter tido apenas 8 episódios, porque tinha material para pelo menos 12 eps.

Teve um começo legal, mas deixou muito a desejar ao decorrer dos episódios. Não é uma história ruim, mas tinha potencial para ser melhor. Não tinha necessidade de adicionar uma carga dramática envolvendo os protagonistas, já que, no fim, isso foi feito de forma muito tosca.
(Imagino que por ter tido apenas 8 episódios, atrapalhou o desenvolvimento.)

Poderia ter sido só um besteirol leve, com mais momentos descontraídos entre os protagonistas, já que o casal tinha química.
