bener2 kalau nonton ini harus fokus, harus ngerti alur cerita nya (because I myself don't understand the storyline hahaha), If you have watched Perfect Crown, the plot is similar to The King: Eternal Monarch, why? It's both a Korean royal story and the girl is a police or high-ranking official. dari awal2 episode biasa aja ga ada apa2 tapi ber-iringan episode selanjutnya episode 13 lelah mikir sebenarnya yg dapetin seruling ajaib Manpasikjeok siapa? yang nyelamatin lee gon kcl siapa, drakornya bener2 kita suruh mikir 2x lipat mikirin kembaran nya tae-eul, yi rim, goo seo ryeong karna mereka ada di dunia paralelnya Tae-Eul. There is nothing noteworthy.

Am I expecting too much? I’ve read so many positive reviews about this drama, but I find it quite boring because it doesn’t really live up to its title, The Prisoner of Beauty. None of the characters really stood out to me, except for Song Zuer.

After that, the plot feels pretty generic, revolving around mother-in-law drama and the one-sided crushes of the cousin and the would-be sister-in-law.

The male lead is also inexperienced when it comes to relationships, so he constantly jumps to the wrong conclusions. Most of the time, the female lead has to be the proactive one and sort everything out.

I made it to Episode 28, but I still couldn’t find any truly memorable scenes, so I decided to drop the drama.

Like it a lot. Definitely will watch season 2.

I thoroughly enjoyed this drama. What makes this drama so satisfying is its central message that every action has consequences and, sooner or later, karma finds its way back to those who deserve it. Watching justice unfold, whether through redemption or retribution, gives each story a rewarding emotional payoff that keeps you invested.
The drama starts exceptionally strong with its first story arc, which is easily the most impactful and emotionally gripping. The writing is sharp, the conflicts feel personal, and the lessons delivered leave a lasting impression. It sets a very high standard that immediately hooks the audience.
As the series progresses, the pacing slows somewhat with the later stories. They aren't quite as intense or memorable as the opening arc, and some episodes take more time to build their themes. While this slight dip in momentum is noticeable, it never takes away from the overall enjoyment of the series. The stories still carry meaningful messages and continue exploring the idea that people eventually face the consequences of their choices.
What I appreciate most is that the show doesn't rely solely on dramatic actions, twists. Instead, it focuses on human nature, personal growth, accountability, and the quiet satisfaction of seeing balance restored and yeah, those flying and slapping scenes are perfection. There's something deeply gratifying about watching characters learn difficult lessons and seeing justice served especially with those who feel entitled as if everyone in this world owes them something.
Overall, Teach You a Lesson (2026) is a satisfying watch from beginning to end. Although the latter half doesn't quite match the incredible strength of its opening story, the drama remains engaging, thoughtful, and emotionally rewarding. If you enjoy anthology-style stories centered on morality, consequences, this series is definitely worth watching.

Watch this for Alphabet Challenge…

This is one of the most difficult reviews I've ever written… Mostly because I don’t understand the story too much…But from what I read MDL this time put the synopsis quite right out of the bag… So let me cut down the chase to what I think…

This short drama actually quite has the potential to be good. The acting isn’t bad, the costume is quite good, no annoying BGM or disappearing sound… It’s such a shame that this ends up being a very unclear story in the end…

If only they put more stories into the vampire’s background story it’s gonna be much better… Adding a few more episodes is gonna solve the problem.

Na Hwa Jin is Joe Clark on Steroids

in 1989 Morgan Freeman stared in Lean On Me as real-life Joe Clark who becomes the principal of completely failed, out of control Eastside High School in Patterson, New Jersey (USA). To quote one reviewer on IMDB, "He is loud, abrasive, arrogant, and effective. He didn't see pleasantries as a means of getting what he wanted, he only saw force and intimidation as the most effective method. He made friends and he made enemies and he made a difference."

Na Hwa Jin, with his team of Deputy Director Bong Geum Dan, and Im Han Rim, all under Ministry of Education Director Choi Gang Seok, was all that, only amped up several notches.

TYAL was gripping, jaw dropping, intense, and heartbreaking, balanced by laugh-out-loud hysterical humor. Our main cast was perfect in my opinion. Each Lead presented a unique and relatable character.
The relationship beteen Hwa Jin and Gang Seok was touchingly beautiful. I ached for both of them but was also inspired by their support for each other and their mutual determination to make their lives count in honor of Gang Seok's daughter and Hwa Jin's fiancé, Choi Ga Yun.
Geum Dan was adorable. His kind but reluctant, nervous nature coupled with his wit, wisdom, and computer savy were a pleasure to watch.
It was no wonder the humorous Han Rim, with her explosive but sensitive nature, was attracted to him. Their chemistry was so cute and so funny. I was rooting for them.
Each member of ERPB, sensitive to both students and teachers, were sincere and dedicated to their mission to make school a safe and happy place for everyone. Humor lightened their loads and, I believe, helped the viewer recover from the intensity of some of the hard to watch scenes.
While quite violent, I recommend this drama to anyone who is interested what should be a fun time in a young person's life and the teachers who sign up to educate and even mentor them. It would be a good watch for students teetering on the brink of making the wrong decisions before their life has even gotten started. Actions have consequences.

This story was compelling given the serious nature of each episode. We in the US share much with Korea in this area of school violence. I admit, our school violence is on a grander scale. Having said that, I wanted to know how much of TYAL was realistic to Korea and how much was not. So I asked Chat GPT for some help. Here's the Q & A for anyone interested. Pretty Faces Can’t Save a Broken Script

Ashes to Crown (Qiao Chu) had all the ingredients for a gripping palace drama—rebirth, political intrigue, and a clever female lead—but somehow turned them into a painfully underwhelming watch.

The biggest problem is the writing. The so-called “mind games” rely more on conveniently dumb opponents than genuine intelligence, while the pacing constantly swings between dragging and rushing. Characters are introduced with great potential, only to become plot devices with little depth.

The cast does what they can, and the visuals are polished, but neither can rescue a script that mistakes coincidences for clever storytelling.

Pues hemos llegado a la última serie que me faltaba por reseñar del PondPhuwin, como ya la había visto antes, esta serie forma parte del revisionado que estoy haciendo, y tengo que decir que me gustó bastante. Tiene unas cosillas que me hacen medio enojar o no se es un sentimiento medio raro, pero no en el mal sentido, sino que me causaban mucha frustración en sí, pero la verdad es que, como no es la primera vez que la veía, ya sabía más o menos para donde iba porque pues no me acordaba de muchas cosas. Aun así, no sé si sería una serie que volvería a ver una tercera vez ya que hubo momentos en los que de plano le adelantaba, pero esto es más que nada porque era un revisionado y sabía que lo que estaba pasando no iba a llevar a nada. A pesar de eso, la trama está interesante, curiosamente, verla después de haber visto Me and Thee (que igual es de "mafia") me hizo darme cuenta de algo, en la otra (Me and Thee) no recuerdo haber visto tantos balazos, pero esta serie literal le dice a la otra quítate que ahí te voy. Aquí sí hay balazos, golpes, sangre y de todo, aunque tampoco lo llevan a un límite exagerado. En general es una serie que se disfruta muchísimo, y cuando llegan esos momentos bonitos entre los personajes, de verdad se siente lindo de ver y si te emocionas.

Creo que esta va a ser de esas pocas reseñas en las que si tengo que hablar por separado de los personajes principales
"Palm" Pannakorn Jannaloy
Para empezar, yo necesito que todos le pidamos perdón a Palm porque sin duda el sufrió más que todos. Para empezar, el papa lo saca de su entorno nomas para volverlo guardaespaldas del hijo de su jefa y tipo no se nos dice si Palm si quería o no, porque lo único que vi fue el chantaje de su papa diciéndole que a la familia de su jefa le debían mucho, casi casi todo, pero al papa ni se le ve muy presente. Luego también me lo humillan más o menos; por ejemplo, cuando Nueng le dice que entienda/conozca su lugar, que es su sirviente (cabe decir que este estaba pasado de copas), y luego el Ben también le hace unos comentarios. Le matan a su mama después de estar separado de ella toda su vida y cuando apenas estaban reconectando y se sentía una vibra más tranquila, la matan; no mames, son demasiadas emociones para mi gusto para alguien de su edad, literal hasta ella le pidió perdón por haberlo dejado y demás y ya para rematar para ponerle esa cereza al pastel, queda con su pierna temporalmente paralizada obligándolo a tomar fisioterapia.
Se los juro pobre de él.

Nuengdiao Kiattrakulmethee
Chance a él también le tenemos que pedir disculpas, pero no tantas JAJAJA, pero si varias, porque pues también está sufriendo. Tipo, le mataron a su papa en su cumpleaños, se la pasaban desde antes haciéndole burlas y después con más ganas, se siente solo, siente que no tiene amigos, llega un punto en el que no sabe si la persona que se está acercando a él es porque realmente quiere o porque quiere algo de él. La persona que según le gustaba y había empezado a abrirse con ella lo hecho a perder y dejándolo en mal a él (mal parado) y para colmo le dispararon a su mama enfrente de él y no pudo hacer nada.

Ya ellos como pareja miren, la verdad es que yo tengo que ser bien honesto: conforme veía la serie, sí me llegué a preguntar varias veces si realmente debían terminar juntos. Es de esas parejas que sí me hicieron dudar si debían estar juntas o no al final. Para empezar, alguien, por favor, explíqueme, mándeme mensaje, no me importa, según ustedes ¿en qué momento se empezaron a enamorar? Porque yo siento que fue desde un primer momento. Literalmente no son nada en los primeros capítulos, o sea, se supone que son amigos, pero se arman unas escenas de celos, que la verdad la escena más clara que tengo es cuando Nuengdiao le reclama a Palm diciéndole que por qué no ha bailado con él. Y sí, ya sé que estaba pasadito de copas, pero, o sea, le hace una escena de celos fuerte, y Palm también se pone medio celosillo a veces, si nos lo dejan ver. Pasan muchas situaciones entre ellos que sí te hacen preguntarte en qué momento se enamoraron, porque para mí como ya dije fue desde un primer momento.
Creo que es a mitad de temporada cuando pasa todo esto de que se tienen que ir a la playa a vivir con la mamá de Palm, y pues, o sea, es un amor adolescente, un amor muy bonito. Sí vemos un poquito de estira y afloja entre ellos, porque como que ninguno quiere decir que siente cosas por el otro, pero ya lo sienten y cuando por fin aceptan esto de ser novios en la isla, neta qué bonitos momentos. El hecho de que Palm se haya tatuado el nombre de Nuengdiao en la espalda es hermosísimo. La pulserita que le da Palm a Nuengdiao referente a la historia que se contaban, todos los momentos en los que pueden ser felices no sé si son muchos o son pocos, porque aquí sí estoy un poquito perdido con lo que es el tiempo en la serie, pero sí se nos deja ver un desarrollo de cómo fueron sus sentimientos, ya que también se nos dan unos flashbacks.
Pero si tengo que decir que también no mames como le sufrieron para ser felices ellos dos, literal no salían de un problema cuando les aparecía otro o se dejaban porque pensaban que era lo mejor para el otro y a esto quiero referirme con que hay una cosita que me molesta y que según yo pasa dos veces, una por parte de cada uno en diferentes capítulos y es básicamente se prometen de todo, se juran que no se van a dejar, que van a estar juntos y no sé qué, y acto siguiente, uno se va y le deja una carta al otro diciéndole "no me busques, ya vive tu vida, olvídate de mí". O sea, primero se lo hace Nuengdiao a Palm, y luego Palm se lo hace a Nuengdiao. No sé si se lo hacen más veces, pero neta que coraje con estos dos.
Y bueno, otra de las razones por las que realmente dudo si debieron haberlos dejado juntos, y que también me da sentimiento, es el final. Resulta que no van a estar como juntos, juntos, ya que Palm le dice a Nuengdiao que siga sus sueños y resulta que nomás se van a ver una vez al año, o sea, no sé si va a ser una semana o va a ser más tiempo, pero ¿una vez al año? Siento que sí podrían sostenerlo entre ellos, pero me hace dudar mucho.
Pero se los juro si me gusto la pareja, si son bien bonitos juntos ellos, de las cosas que más me gustaron cuando Nuengdiao le dice a Palm "para mi tu mama fue el único testigo que supo que nuestro amor era real".

Tenemos personajes secundarios
-Chopper el me cayó el hocico literal. Tipo toda la serie no sé, como que muy mustio, como que si hacia cosas y como que no. Yo siento que el nomas quería tener una vida más normal y pues me sorprendió más o menos tipo si se veía venir que el fuera el que le disparo a su propio padre en el último capítulo. Porque si, ya para este momento por fin se ve un cambio en el, ya no es esa persona tibia que no sabía cuándo actuar o cómo actuar, pero que realmente si se preocupaba por los demás (Nuengdiao y Ben), esto último no sé qué tanto me gusta que como que medio nos lo hayan dejado ver que si van a tener algo él y Ben.
-Ben pobrecito no tengo nada bueno que decir de él JAJAJ, es que para empezar el mismo dice “solo son bromas de la escuela, yo soy el presidente de la clase puedo manejarlo" y spoiler: nunca hizo nada y digo yo sé que Nuengdiao le dijo que no hiciera nada, pero pues desde antes hubieras hecho, además me parece que no tuvo trama o sea todo sale mal con Nuengdiao y todo porque él la caga de ahí vemos que se da cuenta y hasta ultimo pues hace algo, pero se quedó a medias.
-Chanon (papa de Palm) pido perdón de antemano, pero lo odio, pasan muchas cosas para empezar golpea a Palm (su propio hijo) y le dice que nunca se ha tomado nada en serio, nono ¿qué es esto? Yo aquí estoy del lado de Palm, tipo en toda esta discusión el papa le dice que ambos le deben su vida a la familia porque el Sr.Pop salvo a el papa de Palm en su momento más difícil, y digo se nos explica que, pues el papa después del divorcio lo perdió todo, y que Palm se enfermó una vez porque tiene una enfermedad en las válvulas del corazón y pues que ahí en el hospital resulto que estaba el sr Pop y el pago todo. Pero o sea más bien tu (el papa) seria no ambos porque literal ni estaba presente con su hijo, ni lo tiene viviendo bien, anda trabajando de pescador para sacar pa la papa y no contento con todo esto lo peor el termina en la cárcel y pues cuando lo sacan de la cárcel, lo primero que hace es recriminarle a su hijo que donde estaba y que porque no estaba cuidando a Nuengdiao hazme el favor, este es todo un nye que merecía morir.
Mam (Mama de Palm) ella no debió morir, si alguien merecía morir, era el papá de Palm, todavía no me recupero del enojo perdón, pero es que ella le pidió perdón a Palm, admitió que se había equivocado antes porque no sabía ser mamá, pero lo real es que estaban reconectando, hasta ella misma le hizo el tatuaje con el nombre de Nuengdiao.
Y si al principio se mostró reacia y con mucha razón, porque el papá se llevó a Palm para ser guardaespaldas. Por eso ella le dijo "se supone que debes vivir una vida adolescente normal, en cambio tienes que sacrificar tu vida y actuar como si fueras una especie de héroe" pero al final ella entendió todo. En cuanto captó que su hijo y Nuengdiao pues estaban pasando cosas entre ellos, fue la primera en aceptarlo facilísimo; andaba toda emocionada preguntando si ya se habían besado y hasta les dijo que ya tenía dos hijos, los invito a que volvieran después a quedarse en la posada con ella. Literalmente todo estaba tan bien y me la mataron. Fuck no, es una mierda. Ella no merecía morir; merecía seguir viva, ver su relación y que le fuera bien.
Thanya (Mama de Nuengdiao) con ella tengo sentimientos encontrados porque pues cuando pasa lo del beso de Nuengdiao con Ben y lo exponen pues ella si le dice "estoy decepcionada de no poder ser una madre en la que puedas confiar y venir a hablar conmigo al respecto. estaba tan ocupada en el trabajo que olvide cuidarte" y digo de aquí no pasa nada interesante literal se va a dormir (le disparan y queda en coma) y nomas se despierta y se entera más o menos de todo lo que paso y nomas le dice a Palm "puedes volver a vivir tu vida, encontrare a alguien más que lo cuide" fuck that shit, digo ya al final es ella quien le dice a Nuengdiao que lo vaya a buscar entonces meh.
Kit (Papa de Ben y tío de Nuengdiao) ya por último este wey que literal no hizo nada en toda la serie (si hizo, pero no destaco) y pues ni logro nada y así.

Ya por ultimo porque no mames yo también, que es esto biblia o reseña, ya me mame demasiado pero hablemos un poco sobre lo que según yo es final alternativo/escena eliminada que lo pueden encontrar en YouTube que básicamente aquí después de que Palm le deja la nota a Nuengdiao de que ya no lo busque pues pasan 5 años para que sea Nuengdiao el que lo busca y pues se reconcilian, deciden ser pareja y así todo bonito, en general no sé qué opinar de este final, digo lo veo un poco más posible al que nos dieron pero también pues si hubiera sido un shock que de repente pasara esta escena diciéndonos que estuvieron separados 5 años pero a mi parecer me hace más sentido pero pues nos dieron el otro y cualquiera de los dos pues iban a terminar juntos y felices y si ellos lo están porque yo no, entonces pues ya hasta aquí esto, ya fue demasiado, dios quiera y nunca vuelva a hacer una reseña así.

La verdad es que hay que decirlo hay muy buenas frases que saqué para posible título de la reseña y tuve más opciones, pero no lograba ajustarlas entonces aquí las adjunto:

so this drama was actually sooo good!!?!
first of all the male lead is the GREENEST flag in mini drama land. like he’s actually so green my eyes hurt😭😭 the mains’ relationship is so beautiful i loved their chemistry so much. the male lead’s team were amazing characters! also the female lead’s bestie is so cool she’s such a baddie 😋 the plot is a cliche revenge story except we have a little Republican era connection. it was executed really well tho, nothing special, but all the scenes were well made and all interactions were interesting! if you’re looking for something spicy I don’t think this is your drama, because there are a few kisses, yes, but this is not your typical „ no plot just lust “ short drama, this one is actually pretty wholesome! 🥰🤍 i really recommend watching it!

Yes that's how I felt watching this series from the beginning to the end. Bare me with me.
PearlPeak have an amazing chemistry, it's lethal. Their body ratio is BL coded. Their BL debut was so good it makes me think their project will be better or at least as good.
Let's start about the storyline, it's solid and unique. Infusing a little bit of omegaverse element without any unnecessary cringy moment. It has a good start, the story setting up is perfect, the lore is not confusing. However from mid episode I can feel it's being rushed especially Gaysorn and Scent relationship development. Scent's redemption arc feels...empty(?) It's like, "I'm sorry for this, I didn't mean to" and that's it all is forgiven. As for Gaysorn, for someone who have been in a traumatic life event, he's too...forgiving(?) But maybe that's his Mudan nature I guess, personally I'd want to see how he struggles to trust the outside world after that. I like they got a dark a little with Bussaba's experiment, it was a nice little touch.
Overall, everything is so rushed. There is no second storyline, it's too linear for a series, but then again 8 episodes is criminal for this kind of story or any bls.

Now let's talk about the characters, there are A LOT of potentially good storyline coming out of them, let me mention several things.
1. Gaysorn and Ray's frienship. Along the way we learned that Ray is actually a good guy, however I think that we can have their friendship arc even for one episode. I can see Ray's character growth from the one who pushed Gaysorn to the pool until he's the one who helped him. However, in the series, they didn't give them enough screen time for Gaysorn and Ray's relationship to convince us that Gaysorn trust Ray and Ray is actually wanted to protect Gaysorn knowing Gaysorn is just an innocent victim that being used by Scent (Ray's ex).
2. Mekin's characteristics, he always look too laid back (?) However we see along the way that he's actually dependent and have power just like Scent. At first I thought he could be Gaysorn's second love interest considerig how he helped him even without falling in love with Gaysorn. I was hoping Gaysorn emits his smells when Mekin's around and it will give Mekin a bigger motive why he'd want to protect Gaysorn. Remember that he literally took a pic of Gaysorn? Too bad we didn't get to go deep with that storyline.
3. Tawan and Sun. This is the biggest snub in he series due to the lack of episodes. Dare I say they have a good chemistry? Yes. Even without interaction we can see on screen they have the potential to be the third couple in this series. Also it's a way we get to see how Tawan's view changing about the outside world, by falling for someone from there.
They're a few of extra storyline I could think of all many things (I still have a lot in my mind lmao)

Finally, what bother me the most is...THE SPONSORS PLACEMENTS. If you watched the show, there are several episodes that the products is everywhere even got their own screen time, the most annoying one? When Scent was down and sad but we were forced to see how Sun made a cup noodle instead and that's totally set off the vibe haha, like are we serious???

So overall I still love the series, but maybe because I'm a bit bias since I love PearlPeak and LITM is such a masterpiece.

Lastly, PLEASE DON'T NORMALIZE BL UNDER 12 EPISODES. It should be more!

Leads have good chemistry

The storyline was fine i am fan of both leads their chemistry was everything honestly i only really liked the first two and last episodes. If your into full high school dramas this def for those type of cdrama fans. the whole series they were in high school that was annoying made the storyline honestly boring to the point where i almost dropped the series we didnt really see the leads as a couple til the last 3 episodes what a waste. I wish it was like when i fly towards you, exclusive fairytale, go ahead , hidden love, first frost when we saw the characters in high school for bit, than college than adult hood. I would love to see the leads do another drama together with a better storyline. Will i watch this drama again probably not.

What a pity

This could have been a really good series, if they did it right. But sadly they did not. There was no progress in Tao Sor's condition after 15 years, Tao Sor finally starts to remember things after meeting Kim, so you would think with Kim helping him, he would get some where with his memory right? No wrong, he still stays the same. So no growth at all with Tao Sor and his memory.

Then you got the family that kidnapped him, telling him lies for 15 years, calling him "Tao Tor, because they can't deal with the lost of their son/brother. What the hell these people need to be put in jail for this shit. You can't move on, boo fucking hoo, that doesn't not give you the right to kidnap someone else's kid just to make you feel better. This whole family is delusional and don't care about anyone's happiness but their own.

Oh, lets not forget the quack of a Doctor who should not be a Doctor at all, he sucks at his job, helping a piece of shit family lie to a kid for 15 year, treating him like he is one of his patience's when truthfully he's not helping "Tao Sor" at all, just helping the heartless jackass Talay.

Oh the best part,🙄 Tao Sor's real mom is found, but they are not reunited because Kim is the only one who knows Tao Sor is not Assholes brother, so it's to late by the time he founds out about his mom... That was just stupid to have in this if nothing was going to come of it. Why put it in, just to give us hope just to take it away, WTH?

One good thing Talay got his head out of his ass and saw Tao Sor finally in pain over Kim and brought his to see him. So we can think of this as them being together and living a happy life together... or how ever we wish to think it.
