is there any S2 in the horizion? Coz i want more

You know how we sometimes watch a drama, and as it ends, there's this overwhelming urge to throw up and then cry because it was such a journey - and all you just kind of want to do now is watch it all over again?
I've felt that way about very few dramas and veil of shadows has definitely got to be one of those. I finally also understand the appeal of lengthy dramas the journey was truly top notch, by the time I finished bingeing, all I wanted to do was revisit earlier scenes because you're literally watching the life of several... characters unfold it was so dam confusing at first but you understand eventually

Basically, all of them are saying that this is some high quality drama, plot is fast paced, everyone is beautiful and handsome, story is engaging with a well-paced tale. And to top it all, are the CPs! Yes, everyone is saying that the CPs are as good as ever and that aside from the two main couples Ju Jingyi Tian

My question is there gonna be S2 because upon their reunion, he no longer remembers WuShiGuang. JiLing becomes a florist's assistant and reunites with LuWuYiin a parallel timeline.

Stolen Moonlight (2025) is a crime revenge miniseries with a slow burn romance between the lead couple played by ML: Huai Wen (as Xie Lin) and FL: Fu Yu Shu (as Lin Shu Yue). The leading couple had suffered injustice under the antagonist's plot to take everything from their families; he rigorously trains the female lead for his illegal and forced gambling activities and keeps her on a tight leash that is loosened once the male lead gets her by accident while targeting her adoptive brother. As she recovered from amnesia, her memories brought back her tragic past, and she partnered with the male lead to exact revenge on the antagonist. The leading couple had good chemistry as partners in crime and one nice romantic scene, but there was a cloud of somberness hovering over them. The end is nice and sweet, with wide bright smiles that hinted at a dazzling future.

Nem todo protetor parece herói… e nem toda criança está realmente segura

Temas, violência, proteção, moralidade, culpa, redenção, sobrevivência, justiça, passado, responsabilidade, laços improváveis

Tem filme que já começa dizendo exatamente o que veio fazer.
The Killer não enrola. Ele entra direto naquele universo de ação seca, tensão constante e personagens que claramente carregam mais passado do que explicam.

E eu gosto quando o filme confia nisso.
Aqui, o centro não é só a violência, embora ela exista e bastante. O que sustenta a história é essa relação inesperada entre alguém acostumado a resolver tudo no modo mais frio possível… e uma jovem que acaba entrando no caminho dele.

E aí a história muda.

Sobre os personagens, que seguram tudo:
O protagonista não é aquele herói bonito e moralmente impecável. Pelo contrário. Ele é silencioso, eficiente e claramente alguém que já atravessou coisas demais pra ainda acreditar em soluções limpas.
Ele protege, mas não porque quer bancar salvador. Parece mais alguém tentando acertar contas com algo que carrega dentro.
E isso deixa tudo mais interessante.

Já a garota não é só “a pessoa a ser salva”. Ela traz movimento pra narrativa, cria conflito e faz com que a relação entre os dois tenha mais peso do que simplesmente perseguição e fuga.

O filme funciona porque não tenta transformar isso num melodrama. Ele mantém uma certa dureza, uma frieza quase calculada, e isso combina com o universo que constrói.

Tem ação, claro, e daquelas diretas, sem muita firula. Mas o que ficou comigo foi outra coisa.

A pergunta: Até onde alguém vai pra proteger outra pessoa?
E será que proteger também pode ser uma forma de redenção?

No fim, não senti só um filme de perseguição.

Senti alguém tentando impedir que outra pessoa fosse engolida pelo mesmo tipo de escuridão.

Impressão final, um thriller de ação intenso e objetivo, sustentado por personagens marcados e uma relação improvável que dá profundidade à violência, daqueles que mostram que às vezes salvar alguém também é tentar salvar o que restou de si.

Fun

I was very pleased with how they handled the twist of this show. The drip of information was good, and we got the final reveal for why things were happening at the right moment. It also caused some weird jumps in the development of the relationship, but I love that they acknowledged it and at least attempted to explain it. I'm not sure they were 100% successful but the effort was well appreciated.

It was repetitive at times with J not being able to put two and two together quickly, and they could have done more with his weird perspective on the relationship beyond acknowledging but I'm overall pleased.

From what little I've seen of him, I really like Keen as an actor and Sea was improved in this. They can pull off a lot more range in being a couple than a lot of other actors, and I'm excited to see more from both of them!

That was cute fluff.

This was a lot of....... nothing. One couple has communication issues that are so simply to solve it means there's basically no drama, and the other one would be a very toxic relationship if it were real life. Seriously, if someone starts trying to use their money and influence to control everything around your life, run.

The characters were good! They were all interesting with pathos and quirks. I liked watching everyone interact with each other, but the actual plot was... "He likes him and he likes him but secretly he liked him for way longer than anyone realized. Now they like each other more." Any rivals or accidents or illnesses or anything that might possibly be compelling were wrapped up very quickly to get back to... what? A lot of cuteness wrapped around cold air.

It's better than a BL plot from like ten years ago where it would take the whole season before they'd even kiss, but it still has an immature writing style that reminds me of when I was first getting into watching BL dramas.

Un pò cringe ma carino

Drama molto carino ma che secondo me a volte eccede in alcune dinamiche. Duang per quanto alla fine sono finita per amarlo è comunque troppo infantile e nei primi episodi cringe, capisco che l'elemento comico ma è troppo. Fortunatamente andando avanti inizia a mostrare anche dei lati più maturi e belli. Ho apprezzato lo slow burn anche se Duang perde la testa subito ma il resto si sviluppa lentamente, solo che avrei voluto più elementi nelle trama, c'è troppo poco, accade poco e niente, risultando ripetitivo in alcuni punti. La seconda coppia per me inutile o meglio non mi è piaciuta come l'hanno scritta la loro storia e mi annoiavo nelle loro scene. Poteva secondo me essere un drama più breve tipo 10 ep perché gli ultimi mi sono sembrati un grandissimo allungamento di brodo e per me noia assoluta. L'elemento più bello di questo drama è la chimica tra i due protagonisti che ho trovato stupenda e le loro scene sono spesso molto dolci, sono stati bravi e vorrei vedere altro con loro.
In conclusione è un drama carino da vedere se si ha voglia di qualcosa di molto leggero e romantico, personalmente non mi è dispiaciuto tranne queste problematiche che ho segnato.

Lesson in karma. Spiritual equvlnt of "don't drink and drive or else bad things will happen to ya"

This drama is about absolute stupidity of ppl who do NOT listen and who think certain things are a joke or some kind of fun, and who utter wishes which are totally ... inappropriate, and who make actions that are totally inappropriate - and then cause unnecessary trouble like crazy

For example: the shaman's daughter wishing that her mother dies. then getting soooo mad about the talisman that she publicly ridiculed her friend; the "pretty boy" who beat up the friend; and then friend wishing they all die and hurting herself. THOSE ARE VERY DUMB STUPID ACTIONS

This drama is really a lesson on karma and what not to do. It is spiritual equivalent of "dont drink and driver or else you will get in trouble."

The drama is quite cringe and totally Hogwarts kind of stuff for young ppl

BASICALLY THE MESSAGE OF THIS DRAMA IS TO STAY CALM, PAY ATTENTION, NOT GO TO PLACES THAT FEEL WEIRD, NOT HANG OUT WITH PPL WHO FEEL WEIRD, AND NEVER WISH OR SAY OR BEHAVE IN WAYS THAT ARE LESS THAN EXEMPLARY

the whole drama is about the law of karma
and the demonic forces that help to execute punishment for creating bad karma

Also, it is notable that most kids got in trouble for sheer curiosity, stupid needless joking, as well as perceived "needs" such as grades, and asking to get it without any effort, i.e. the kid was delusional in their thinking. Also notice that no kids wished that the app be deleted forever, they all were too self-centered and did not see beyond their own little issues in front of them - and that allows the evil to propagate.

Notice that only kids who had the courage and intergrity to HONESTLY TALK about what happened to them survived. Kids that believed some bs and never asked to clarify it, did stupid stuff and died/got stuck.

Also notice that all key players actively contributing to the evil app were somehow connected to evil and/or had a propensity for it. For example:
Shaman's daughter GENUINELY wished her mother to die, publicly ridiculed her friend, did not stop the beating of her friend by the "pretty guy", wished to create the demonic app - she was truly the daughter of her mother whom she so hated - her mother was a black shaman, capable and willing to harm others...

the friend kept hanging out with the shaman mom and wished death to others;
Na Ri was a chronic liar and deceiver/manipulator/backstabber, grabber, club goer/drinker and an entitled rich kid; I would think she would end up as a drug addict and/or a major nasty figure of authority

and the weird Discord kid who reactivated the app was taking pills and giving them to HJ; he read the online manual for the app; and he knew for sure that HJ died and the app kills - YET he listened to what the demon wrote online and went to retrieve the phone and reactivate the app. That kid was off the rails somehow...

All the kids who helped the evil had some major problems and evil streaks
and some looked so cute ... those girls with long hair, so pretty like dolls... but ... killers
The discord kid definitely looked weird and behaved weird

So the bottom line is - be someone exemplary, live a clean decent life, and do not indulge in things that are overboard, shady, etc communicate honestly,
and that will be your "wash your hands before you eat and dont drink when you drive" kinda protection mechanism.

I watched this drama for junhui and the actress from when i fly towards you. She had similar role in this one too. But i found reviews exaggerated. Their avting is good but story is bad. Mothers obsessing over marrying their kids was so cringe. And then there were everywhere posters of junhui who was actor in the drama. 2nd female lead obsessing over the same person was turn off for me. I completed watching it only for both actors. Other than there was also so much focus on 2nd leads there proposal was so grand and all. Ling chao's father came after he grew and bevame rich. If he bevame rich why didnt he come back that was worst part. Its fine of one time watch but i wont suggest it to anyone. They both are great actors but their chemistry was lacking.

Pretty good

It’s funny that I watched this friendship sharing show one year after I had watched the drama. The show was okay, but I think it was a bit dragging sometimes in the middle. You can clearly tell it was made to promote the drama and boost local tourism.

What I enjoyed was the bonding between the actors and actresses. I feel like they treated each other like family. I also see that their personalities are very different from their roles in the drama. You can easily tell Wu Xuan Yi and Huang Sheng Chi are the older members among all of them, while Wang Xing Yue and Lu Yu Xiao are among the younger members.

I really liked the last moment when they expressed their gratitude and loving feelings to each other.

I also liked the extra episode of the fourth sister’s couple. Although it was just a short bonus, I’m so glad that they made it. They are my favorite couple of the drama.

Addictive, Intense, and Unforgettable: My 9/10 Experience with Pyramid Game

I really loved Pyramid Game. Honestly, the characters are incredibly well written. The villain is truly evil, to the point where I hated her more than almost anyone. I also liked how the series sometimes made me doubt Seong Su Ji, even though in the end she’s a genuinely good person. And the friendship between Seong Su Ji and Myeong Ja Eun… I found it amazing, definitely one of the strongest parts.

I also loved the plot twists—there are so many in every episode, it kept me hooked from start to finish. The episodes are well structured, I never felt lost, everything flows really well. And the opening… absolutely incredible, I still have the music stuck in my head.

However, I have to admit I was a bit disappointed by the villain’s motivations—I found them not developed enough. And some characters like Eun Byeol or Da Yeon, I liked them less; for me, they’re the only ones with no real excuse for their actions.

But despite that, I think the series delivers a really powerful message about bullying, popularity, and being a bystander. It’s a very addictive drama, and for me, it clearly deserves its 9/10.
