Low level writers

It's not bad until episode 8-9 onwards. The plot is ok, semi predictable which I expected from a rom com but the writing is like a high schooler. They made the FL into some dumbo who's communication and decision making skills is repeatedly dumb. If a major decisions can impact your loved one, wouldn't you discuss with him? Isn't he supposed to be your trusted confidant? How do you have a relationship with such poor trust and communication??? The level of gossiping, the lack of confidentiality (disclosure of the plot to the lady doctor) and the doctor:s meddling in their relationship is all immature, unsophisticated, behavior of village idiots who's never worked
Really high school level writing. This writer is very low level, lacking in adult decision behavior, lacking sophistication, stuck with n villagy uneducated low level behavior. Waste of a good cast
Probably not recommend even if you like the actors.

I honestly didn’t expect to love Romance Scammer this much

The story itself is really good, but I do feel like it needed more time or a few more episodes to fully flesh everything out. There were moments that deserved deeper development, and you can tell the potential was there for something even bigger.

That said, it’s still one of the best series I’ve seen this year.

I’ll admit, I completely misjudged Junior and Mark — their performances were actually impressive and added so much depth to the story.

And of course, my biases OhmPoon… they really carried the emotional weight and made the whole experience even more enjoyable.

Overall, a solid watch that deserved more recognition.

Good

Really liked this. Park Sung Woong delivered, as usual. His roles always add depth and range as an actor. Huh Joon Ho, incredibly believable. The action kept the story moving when it needed the little push. The ml friendship had chemistry that really clicked. I actually felt sad when the inevitable happened along the way. Their naïve honesty against the corruption, unbelievable but very cute and interesting to see. I didn't expect the humor to land as much as it did. Sad that Sae Ron didn't stick around. She was very good here.

I would definitely recommend this to be watched.

DUANG WITH YOU AND THE AMAZING ACTING AND CREW

Duang with you is just stupidly fun and awesome. I’m not really good with words, so I don’t know how to properly explain just how good this series is—ahhhhh. It’s the kind of story that pulls you in without you even realizing it, and before you know it, you’re already attached to the characters and everything they’re going through. Every episode just leaves me wanting more, and I keep thinking about it even after it’s over. The emotions, the chemistry, and the little details make it feel so real and special.
I really hope Domundi gives this a special chapter because it honestly deserves it. There’s still so much I want to see—more moments, more interactions, and maybe even deeper scenes that show their growth and connection. This series isn’t just entertaining; it’s something that stays with you, and I think a special chapter would make fans like me so happy.

Definição de Saudade

Eu sinto tanta, tanta falta deles.

Vou sentir falta do Quin e do Duang.

Adorei acompanhar.

What We Choose Not to Take

I rewatched this on Netflix recently, and it immediately took me back to those wuxia movies I used to watch with my dad. Half asleep, half understanding the plot, but fully absorbed in the feeling. That slightly dreamy, slightly melancholic atmosphere that sticks even when the details fade, firmly rooted in a different era of filmmaking.

Coming back to it now, I understand the story much better, but strangely, it still works in much the same way. It’s less about what happens, and more about what stays with you afterward.

The setup is pretty simple. Li Mu Bai, a legendary swordsman, decides he’s done with the martial world and asks Shu Lien to deliver his sword, the Green Destiny, as a kind of final goodbye. Of course, that doesn’t go as planned; the sword gets stolen, and suddenly this quiet exit turns into a chase that pulls everyone back into a world they were trying to leave behind.

That’s where Jen (Yu Jiaolong) comes in.

At first, she comes across as the familiar restless noble girl, dissatisfied with the life arranged for her. But the more you watch, the more it becomes clear that her struggle isn’t just about restriction, it’s about direction. She’s highly skilled, trained in secret, capable in ways she shouldn’t be, but that ability doesn’t stabilize her. If anything, it pushes her further off balance. It’s like giving someone wings before they’ve learned where to land.

Her dynamic with Shu Lien is one of the most interesting parts. Shu Lien sees right through her, sees both the potential and the recklessness, and tries, in her own way, to guide her. But Jen doesn’t want guidance. She wants freedom, without limits, without consequences. And the film keeps quietly asking: what does that kind of freedom even look like?

Meanwhile, there’s this entire undercurrent with Jade Fox, Jen’s mentor, who represents something darker: bitterness, resentment, someone who was shut out of the martial world and never really moved past it. You start to see how Jen could easily end up the same way, just with better sword skills.

And then there’s Li Mu Bai and Shu Lien.

Their story almost seems like it belongs to a different movie: quieter, older, heavier. They’ve known each other for years, clearly care about each other, and yet nothing ever happens. Not because it couldn’t, but because they chose not to. Honor, loyalty, timing, whatever it is, they let it pass. Watching their relationship feels like looking at a road not taken for too long.

The action reflects all of this rather than distracting from it. The rooftop chase feels like Jen testing how far she can push her freedom. The famous bamboo forest scene isn’t just visually striking—it plays out almost like a conversation neither side knows how to resolve. Shu Lien stays grounded, controlled, rooted. Jen moves like she doesn’t want to be held by anything at all. It’s less about who wins and more about what each of them represents.

And then the ending.

Jen goes to Wudang Mountain with Lo, the one person who represents a different kind of life for her: simpler, maybe more honest. He tells her that story again, about the man who jumped off the mountain and had his wish granted because he believed. And she just… jumps.

And that moment can mean a lot of things. Maybe she believes in the legend. Maybe she wants freedom in the only way she can define it. Or maybe she’s just tired of not belonging anywhere: too wild for one world, too constrained for another. It doesn’t feel like a triumphant ending, and it's not meant to be. It feels more like someone finally letting go, even if we don’t know what that leads to.

What stood out to me most on rewatch is how little the film insists on anything. It doesn’t guide you through every emotion or spell out its themes. It leaves space, but that space can also create distance. Some moments feel intentionally understated, while others feel just out of reach, especially if you’re looking for a more direct emotional connection. Like a conversation that ends without a clear conclusion, but stays in your head anyway. The movie doesn’t meet you halfway; you have to go to it, and not every viewer will respond to that approach.

Visually, it holds up effortlessly. It’s more like it doesn’t age because it never tried to look trendy in the first place. Natural light, real movement, no over-processing. it feels closer to something you remember than something you just watched.

A strong 8.5 upped up to a 9, not just for the fantasic action or the layered story, but for the way it lingers around questions of choice, consequence, and what people leave undone.

i watch meteor graden and f4 tailand

first of all i watch meteor garden before this drama and after watching this you can say that meteor garden is way better than this. i have to say that meteor garden has more episodes but, is more catchy and the istory doesnt feel that heavy to watch. eventhought f4 Tailand is BETTER than this. when i watch this drama, i was skipping parts of it because it was Boring me.

if you want to see this drama before, watch it.

i think that the problem of skipping parts, get bored and more, was because i watch meteor graden and f4 tailand before, but this doesnt mean that this drama isnt good. the real problem, was that my first boy over flowers was meteor graden the chinese. this mean that because meteor garden was more modern, it felt heavier to me watch boys over flowers.

and to finish, if it works for you, i will leave a rakinf of every boys over flowers diwn here.

1.- Meteor graden (chinese, the protagonist are daoming si and shancai)

2.- f4 tailand (the protagonist are gorya and tyme)

3.- Hana Yori Dango (japanese, the protagonist are domyoji tsukasa and makino tsukushi)

4.- Boys over flowers (corean, the protagonist are jumpyo and jandi)

Unexpectedly good

I usually don't prefer to watch prequels after having seen the "sequel" so I've been holding off on this one for a while. Even the Americanized name isn't the most appealing. But I have to say that this one may be the best one of the three. It makes me almost want to re-watch the The Blood of Youth.

For me, the growth of the relationships between everyone in this one was done much better than the sequel. The bonds felt much more natural and believable but in turn, the pacing ends up slower than The Blood of Youth. I didn't bother trying to tick and tie every event between the two series because this just isn't one of those that is meant to be that detailed. They did a good enough job letting me appreciate going "oh hey.. that's the younger version of that character". The standouts in this series for me were definitely Master Li and the ninth prince. I've come across the actor for the ninth prince a few times in other series and he really has a great look for either a protagonist or antagonist role. The scene with Master Li just breezing through his attempted assassinations is pretty epic as well. Then there's Ye Ding Zhi and his tragic life. I'm glad that despite his best friend having grown up in such a different lifestyle of privilege, was ultimately the one who stayed true to him.

My only qualm with the story is how too much is revolved around the females. I'm not against sacrificing for the love of your life but the men really did give up way more than the females did. As for Ye Ding Zhi's love, she was really undeserving for just sitting around waiting to be saved. And because both men were obsessed with this one woman, the war was eventually triggered. The blame lies with the king because he has the greater responsibility in considering the lives of his citizens.

Finally, after having watched all three related series, I don't think they did Blood River justice. While it was also enjoyable, it just doesn't tie as well into the overall universe.

I liked the first season, but compared to that, this one didn’t really live up to expectations. It was just okay. I was hoping they’d explore Ho Jae’s backstory more, but they didn’t show much at all. The story basically jumped from Jang Tae-sang to Ho Jae (his new name) without explaining what happened in between, like how he ended up in Jeonseung Biotech. That part felt rushed and a bit disappointing.

Honestly, it could’ve been more interesting if the original main character had died and a completely new character was introduced—still played by the same actor, but with a fresh backstory. That would’ve added something new to the story, but unfortunately, they didn’t go that route. The story could’ve ended perfectly with the first season, and that would have been amazing, but instead it feels like they just dragged it forward without a strong reason. The ending here didn’t really feel like a proper conclusion either—the story still isn’t finished.

Overall, I didn’t enjoy this season as much as the first one.

It's magical and funny kinda gives off old children's movie vibes but the editing issues are obvious

I was kinda expecting this to be on the serious romance side like "goblin" or "my demon" or "my love from another side". Ngl jeff's outfit bothered me for a while😆😆 in the 1st ep. I was bro he's an alien why he dressed like a sky kids villain. The explanation helped a lot.

The drama will remind you of old children's movies like spy kids, charlie and the chocolate factory kind. I really liked the graphics and visuals and all the magic going on. Unfortunately it's not subbed yet and the drama is in Thai, Korean and English. I can understand english and korean but thai is a problem for me so I'm gonna rewatch once subbed.

The aliens costume was not my favorite but i did like Raon's minions. They're adorable 🤭🤭

My fav character soo far would be princess. I also have a new ship which i think is gonna sail i.e. the princess and the police

When he said "Why can't a man be a princess? If you're handsome you're a prince, if you're pretty you're a princess. Like me... Well you're... definitely a prince *wink*" kyaaaaaaaa i love him i love him i love him❤️❤️❤️ just please don't be wicked.

Overall 2 episodes in and i think i like it. Hope the actors get paid for this though cz it's unfair.

Gonna update my review after i finish once and after watching with subs once again. Until then ciao

Edit: finished the drama. It is really not a serious one, more like a children's movie than a BL. We get 1 kiss which was just lips touching😆. I feel it could be a lot better if it was released back then with proper music and editing cz it's pretty obvious that they had a bunch of clips that the editing team tried their best to join without any creativity.

For the first time in my entire life have i seen a human leave earth for their partner. That was new and unexpected. I liked all the couples. CopPrincess being my fav although they barely get 30 mins in the series. I feel the series was okay, not the best. You won't miss out if you don't watch it. It's not everyone's cup of tea and the trailer and series are totally different 😆😆 not once did i see Raon in normal cloths.

The FL feels flat

i think the story meant to be like the movie "Life as We Know it" but i dont know this drama feels bland and a bit rush. The movie i was mentioned was also have love triangle but the second ML plot was boring. the FL char is quite flat, i saw a couple of her drama i think her acting is not too versatile. The ML hmm....not bad, but his char feel similar like in cheer up. And the ending, hmmmm i think they can wrapped it better. Watch this drama only when you need a light drama. for me once is enough.

I honestly didn’t expect JJ to match the level of performance that James brought to the character, but he completely proved me wrong. From the very beginning, JJ delivered a natural and convincing portrayal that made it easy to get immersed in the story. He didn’t just act out the role—he truly understood it. Every expression and emotion felt genuine, showing how much effort he put into bringing the character to life. Instead of trying to imitate anyone, JJ made the role his own, and that really stood out.
As the story progressed, his performance became even stronger and more impactful. He added depth to Klao/Nakhun, making the character feel real and relatable. His emotional scenes were especially impressive...they felt raw, sincere, and deeply moving. You could clearly see the growth in his acting, and it made every moment more engaging to watch. His screen presence and chemistry also played a big role in making the story more enjoyable and memorable.
What I appreciated the most was how JJ connected with the audience. He made it easy to feel every emotion his character went through, whether it was happiness, pain, or love. By the end, I wasn’t comparing him to anyone anymore... I was simply enjoying his performance for what it was. JJ truly proved that he was the perfect choice for the role of Klao/Nakhun, and his performance left a strong impression on me. Overall, I really loved watching him and felt that he did complete justice to the character .... Lots of love to Netjj ❤️🫶

jade stays with you

there’s something really comforting about how pursuit of jade begins. the first half feels soft and grounded, like you’re just sitting in lin’an watching everyday life unfold. fan changyu working as a butcher, yan zheng staying by her side as the matrilocal husband, their routine isn’t anything grand but it feels full. the tone leans bright, warm, almost cozy, and the humor lands so naturally. it’s the kind of opening that pulls you in quietly, until you realize you’re already attached

visually, it’s just as strong. the cinematography is honestly one of its biggest wins. every frame feels intentional, like the director knew exactly what they wanted. the angles, the lighting, the composition, it all works without trying too hard. nothing feels wasted. it’s the kind of drama where you catch yourself pausing just to sit with a shot a little longer

then the shift happens. the second half pulls you into politics and war, and suddenly everything feels colder. not in a bad way, just heavier. the drama keeps some of its humor, which helps balance the tension, but the romance starts to feel quieter. early on, it makes sense, their relationship begins with obligation before love. but later, you can’t help but want more of them. they’re so natural, so easy to love, that you start wishing for more softness, more small moments, more time where things are allowed to just slow down and breathe

and yeah, it really does feel like it needed more episodes. the ending moves too fast, like it’s trying to close everything before you’re ready to let go. the resolution of the conflict comes and goes so quickly that you don’t really get to sit with what it all meant after. some characters slip out of the narrative without proper closure, which leaves the world feeling slightly unfinished. you notice it most with characters like counselor gongsun yin and princess royal qi shu, who don’t appear in the end at all, leaving their stories hanging

but even with that, it’s hard not to love this drama. the relationships carry it. not just the romance, but the friendships, the loyalty, the way people grow alongside each other. you end up caring about everyone, from the leads to the side characters, and that kind of attachment lingers. it’s the kind of story that stays with you, the kind that makes everything you watch after feel a little emptier

qi min and yi qianqian leave one of the deepest marks. their dynamic is messy, intense, and emotionally raw in a way that’s hard to shake. there’s something about how deeply he feels, even when it turns destructive, that just hits. that line about loving her so much he hopes they never meet again in another life . . . it lingers. it’s not a healthy love, not even close, but it’s painfully human. it makes you wonder if a kinder life might have changed everything for both of them

this drama doesn’t just tell a story, it leaves something behind. you get attached without realizing it, and by the time it ends, it already feels like you’ve spent too little time with them. and when it’s over, what lingers isn’t just the story, it’s the feeling of missing them, like you weren’t quite ready to let go
