UM DOS MELHORES ROMCOM
Personagens interessantes, dois casais com uma química maravilhosa. Não curto muito comédia romântica, porque sempre fica chato uma parte, fora os plots batidos, mas esse foi bem refrescante. Sempre ficava animada com os episódios, nenhum foi chato, até a parte do drama foi interessante. Apesar do final apressado (sinto que deveria ter mais dois episódios para desenvolver melhor) achei um dos melhores doramas de comédia romântica dos ultimos anos. Oura questão que senti falta foi de abordar mais sobre a outra irmã, achei muito interessante o plot dela, poderiam ter trabalhado um pouco mais. Enfim, super recomendo, mas é importante saber que o final é apenas satisfatório por ser um pouco apressado no desenvolvimento final dos protagonistas.Was this review helpful to you?

C'est mon premier drama où je souhaite que le ML ne finisse pas avec la FLLe positif :
Kim Young Dae est parfait, son personnage est gentil comme tout, et il le rend très touchant !
Le casting est somptueux, que de très bons acteurs.
L'histoire est pas mal.
Le négatif :
Le personnage féminin principal n'est pas sympathique.
Elle est arriviste, autoritaire, ne voit que son intérêt.
Elle frappe les hommes, quand il part, peut être pour toujours, son premier regret c'est d'avoir acheté un lit tout neuf !
A la mort de sa mère, en bonne égoïste, elle ne voit qu'elle comme chef de deuil !
Alors qu'il a tout fait pour l'enterrement, elle le jette (d'ailleurs les 3 actrices virent toutes leurs copains!!!)
Elle ne mérite pas un happy ending avec le ML.
Sinon on a le white truck, des chutes multiples, des 3 filles de 30+ en colocation comme des étudiantes.
ML est servile et trop gentil (masochiste ?)
il lui sert même de chauffeur épisode 8 ! Comment peut-il tomber amoureux d'un truc pareil ?
La musique et Le bruitage sont pénible
On a le placement de produits classique (topiko, subway etc)

This is my first drama where I hope the ML doesn't end up with the LF
The positive: Kim Young Dae is perfect, his character is sweet as can be, and he makes it very touching! The cast is sumptuous, all very good actors. The story is not bad.
The negative: The main female character is not likeable. She's pushy, bossy, only sees her own interests. She hits men, and when he leaves, perhaps forever, her first regret is having bought a brand new bed!
When her mother dies, she's so selfish that she's the only one she can think of as the head of her bereavement team!
Even though he's done everything for the funeral, she throws him out (incidentally, the 3 actresses all fire their boyfriends!!!) She doesn't deserve a happy ending with ML.
Otherwise we have the white truck, multiple falls, 3 girls aged 30+ sharing a flat like students. ML is subservient and too nice (masochistic?) he even acts as her chauffeur in episode 8! How can he fall in love with such a thing?
The music and sound effects are annoying. There's classic product placement (topiko, subway etc).
The series is only funny for people under 10.

Encantadora
Fue muy agradable cuando supe que se realizaría este spin off de la serie No Gain No Love (NGNL), porque me encantó. Lo que no imaginé es que este pequeño spin off dialogara tanto con la serie madre, insertándose en un espacio coherente en el desarrollo de la misma, sin cambiar nada de la serie original. Lo encontré muy creativo y genial. Los personajes, adorables como siempre, regalándonos un pedacito más de ellos. Buenísimas las actuaciones. No te la puedes perder si te gustó la serie NGNL tanto como a mi. Después de los créditos finales del segundo y último capítulo, una linda sorpresa. No dejes de verla.Was this review helpful to you?

É, mas não é
O drama realmente me surpreendeu, o casal protagonista era muito bom juntos, porém a Hee-Seong deixou a desejar na construção do personagem, não a atriz, que adoro. Senti que o último episódio deixou a desejar, passou muito rápido e poderia ter sido melhor desenvolvido. Mas no geral foi um drama muito bom de acompanhar. Me incomodou demais a maneira egoísta da Hee-Seong até mesmo no velório, acho que poderiam ter explorado mais sua história e sentimentos e não transformá-la em uma carente por afeto.Was this review helpful to you?

Ini adalah film retro yang saya fikir punya life meaning yang bagus, nuansa dan romansanya juga sangat kuat. Mengangkat kisah tentang perjalanan tokoh utama yang bernama "Ivan" yang menurutku kisahnya sangat epic. Film ini tidak menceritakan tentang romansa "ideal" tentang kehidupan, ataupun mengangkat cinta epic yang luar biasa. Tetapi film ini tampil apa adanya namun berkesan, alur cerita berjalan secara apa adanya - kita seperti menonton dokumenter perjalanan seseorang secara nyata. Scene di film ini menurutku sangat slowburn, tapi tidak membuat bosan - setiap detail scene mengandung artinya masing-masing, film ini mengangkat tentang "menghargai kehidupan, dan menghargai waktu". Dari segi romansa cinta, series ini punya bentuk "cinta" yang tulus, entah kenapa nuansanya seperti sebuah cerita cinta yang epic walaupun tidak punya scene romantis yang cukup, semuanya tersaji hampir mirip dengan aslinya di tahun film ini rilis, dimana semuanya serba terbatas, bahkan saya menonton film ini di tahun 2024 dengan keadaan dunia sudah memproduksi series bL yang punya scene romantis yang sangat menonjol. beberapa part bahkan mengingatkan masalaluku dimana ketika saya pertama kali jatuh cinta di tahun 2013, apapun yang saya lakukan terbatas, saya melakukan segala sesuatu yang membuatnya senang - tanpa seorangpun tahu bahwa aku mencintainya. Dari segi pewarnaan, film yang satu ini punya saturasi yang tidak konsisten, kadang terlalu punya warna yang mati, atau terlalu saturated di waktu-waktu tertentu, mungkin melambangkan emosi namun saya tidak terlalu menyukainya. A história desse drama é bem interessante, gostei de ver o trabalho e dedicação de tradutores, pode ser ficticio, porém achei bem legal, nunca nem me atentei aos créditos e isso me fez refletir. A construção dos personagens me deixa um pouco incomodada, mas não sei expor corretamente o que eu senti. Apaixonante do começo ao fim!!
Não sei nem por onde começar a falar desse drama, não prometeu muito e o pouco que foi prometido foi completamente entregue. A história foi cativante do começo ao fim, dava pra entender as dores da prota por ter tido tantos irmãos adotivos e não ter tido o carinho, atenção e tempo da sua mãe dedicado somente a ela.a relação dela com as únicas que ficaram foi bastante construída também e de uma forma saudável, pois no meio do drama da pra ver que a prota tinha tudo pra ter uma relação ruim com todos, mas com elas deu super certo. A Ja Yeon foi muito bem construída, ela é tão apaixonante, da pra ver que as situações ruins só tornaram ela um doce de pessoa. Já a hee-seong foi muito mal construída, não deram um propósito, ela só existia e pronto.
o Ji- Uk foi tão bem construído que me surpreendeu, e a atuação do ator deu um charme a mais pra ele, mas ele foi fiel a proposta do começo ao fim, o que me deixa feliz. A história deles dois ficou muito boa, só o final q foi corrido, mas ok.

The love of two young people and the homophobic South Korean society
'Brake' (native title 브레이크), the LGBT+-themed romantic and psychological drama directed by South Korean filmmaker Yoo Yong-hwan, tells the story of self-discovery, love and obsession of Byun Shi Woo, a shy and fragile teenager whose only hobby filming his daily life with a camcorder, and he will live a heartbreaking love story with Ha Joon, his classmate and motorcycle racer, who has earned the respect of others by imposing himself through fear.Shi Woo's life is sad and monotonous. Abandoned by his parents in an orphanage, he spent his childhood in foster homes. Without a circle of friends or relatives, the decontextualization of his environment and where he comes from adds an aura of sadness to his person. It is therefore the viewer's task to build the puzzle that is our protagonist, using what he tells us through the way he manages his time and, above all, through his interactions with himself through the videos recorded with his camcorder.
The film is fully part of the aspect of cinema that documents the intensity of youth and young love, but against the backdrop of a heteronormative and patriarchal society in which homophobia and discrimination against those who are different persist, which, as it clearly states, Its title will mean a brake on the development of the love relationship between the two characters.
Yoo Yong-hwan and his technical team are on a mission to talk about something very complex in a sensory way, while the film tells the story of people in need of affection and love through teenage stories that seem somewhat rough and crude.
Thanks to a video filmed by Shi Woo, Ha Joon (role played by Lee Ki Hyuk – 'Little Bird', 2021), and his friends manage to evade what would be a police accusation for damage to third parties in a road accident, so that the young man until then ignored by the other classmates will become part of Ha Joon's gang. From this moment on, the attraction materializes into a tortuous and absolutely living relationship that will not escape harassment and discrimination.
Based on the script by the same director, the film captures on the screen the fierce and veiled feelings of the two young people, their discoveries and their problems, through the most frontal silences and the most violent beauty. In this story the two will choose paths that will determine their lives forever.
Love arises at the first opportunity between these two young people, who launch themselves into a relationship without materializing, because while Shi Woo secretly loves, Ha Joon does not easily assume the homosexual dimension of his growing friendship with Shi Woo. And this circumstance is subject to harassment from the protagonists' other classmates when they discover the growing love attraction between the two boys.
The dedication to deciphering a little of the psyche of the young Shi Woo is understandable, because it is clear that what matters most to Yoo Yong-hwan is the process of emotional transformation of his fascinating protagonist – played with courage by Jang Yoo Sang, an actor who We had already seen him in other LGBT+ themed films before this one, since in 2014 he starred in the drama 'One Night Only', by directors Kim Jo Kwang-soo and Kim Tae-yong, and two years before in the short film 'Night Bugs', by the latter director.
However, the process of a teenager who has never been loved in his life falling in love with someone for the first time will not be as beautiful as expected.
The story is simple, dark and normal: a person falls in love with another person, and with whom a beautiful friendship begins. However, the much more complex story of Shi Woo and Ha Joon begins to fight against the "normal", moving away from the social canons of duty, relationships, and, above all, romance. Between the simplicity of a romance and the battle against convention, 'Brake' submerges, an uninhibited, emotional, astonishing and sad portrait of two people (and everything else) who meet in the midst of adolescence, rebellious and nonconformist, and in the cracks in the establishment of South Korean society.
After crossing their destinies and fooling around with ambiguity, Shi Woo and Ha Joon will not be able to start a love relationship, as their destinies will be irremediably separated when they are ridiculed and harassed by others, so they will have to distance themselves and break up with their friendship.
The relationship between the two characters is, like many of those that happen at that age, unhealthy, absorbing and exciting. The already concise surroundings of the protagonist end up completely disappearing and what we are left with is his silent way of feeling that love and, above all, attraction. 'Brake' speaks, without making things simple for the viewer, about chemical connection and desire.
That chemical connection and that desire that leads to heartbreak because one party is far above the other in terms of having things clear. Or that's the impression it gives. The other big question that the film touches on, and it does so in an always suggestive way, is that of identity. Although Shi Woo is the main character, both he and Ha Joon will see their relationship as the definitive moment to make an irrevocable decision and define themselves as people.
Regarding this last character, the film is astutely vague when it comes to delineating the nature of their conflict. We don't know if he is struggling with repressed homosexuality or poorly digested bisexuality. Yes, we will know, by the time the adventure is over, that our main protagonist is aware of the impossibility of a romance, so it is time to move forward and not look back, to free himself from a relationship that could hardly come to fruition. If feeling that love has done anything for Shi Woo, if his erratic behavior has gotten him anywhere, it is embracing the truth about his self-discovery and sexual identity. And so, putting an end to a love relationship that never took place, in order to move on with his battered life.
Then, the film, premiered at the Seoul Pride International Film Festival, becomes a denunciation against the homophobia present in South Korean society and against its sister, internalized homophobia, as well as the lack of institutional support for helpless children.
The courage to step outside the box, therefore, must be highlighted. The creators' choices try to do so but with humility, without pontificating at any time.
Produced by Use Film, a film production project team established in 2016, the director aims to broaden the perspective of the world through stories of people who do not receive adequate care and are excluded by society.
'Brake' is an exciting example of a young cinema that is even reflected in contemporary creations – from the sentimental and social nudity of the portraits of Leesong Hee Il or In-shik Kim, to the aesthetic and ethical productions of Kim Jho Kwang Soo, Lee Joon-ik, Yoo Ha and Bang Eun-jin, among many other South Korean filmmakers, where he moves like a fish in water thanks also to the most successful and dynamic decisions, such as a musical selection where the lyrics of the songs dialogue great with the action.
The best thing is that the heart of 'Brake' is able to go beyond its stylistic resources to offer itself to the viewer as a mature, moving, intelligent, authentic and honest story, which transcends all possible borders.
The film, a true raw gem, beautiful and murky, delicate and wild, fragile and implacable, is permeated by that vehement breath of commitment to the cause told, of the almost suicidal impulse to follow the characters' choices and not distance oneself from what what happens to them, and in which the color "winter green" appears as a tone and drawing of their general image.
If you are not tired of teenage stories, the discovery of sexuality, love and heartbreak, and amorous obsessions, you will be able to fully enjoy 'Brake', another notch in the LGTB+ cinema imagination that demonstrates the good form of the theme.

Não é o enredo mais original do mundo, mas tem o seu charme e o casal tem muita química.
Ahhh, como explicar este dorama? Mesmo que não tivesse o ano ao lado do título, eu saberia que é uma obra de 2016 – te juro, é muito característico!Vou começar pelos pontos negativos e prometo ser breve. Bom, falando do ponto de vista narrativa, é uma história prevísivel e sem grandes acontecimentos, reviravoltas ou intrigas – com exceção da já esperada separação do casal no episódio 14 antes do happy ending no 16, o que é de praxe em dramas asiáticos.
Porém, isso não significa que eu fiquei entediado assistindo, muito pelo contrário, o desenvolvimento do casal é gostoso, o timing é 10/10 e os episódios não são muito extensos (contando com a abertura, finalização, recapitulação do episódio anterior e prévia do próximo episódios dá 40 minutos, mas sem estes, deve dar 35 minutos).
O problema deste k-drama, no entanto, é o protagonista masculino. Ele já é mal-humorado e esquentadinho de natureza, e até aí tudo bem, só que ele também agiu de forma possessiva – o que é bem diferente de ter um ciuminho bobo e saudável, tá? – e controladora sem necessidade.
Por exemplo, no episódio X, quando ele vê a protagonista com um look diferente e que mostra um pouco mais do corpo, ele fica incomodado porque estão em público e insiste que ela se cubra com o seu casaco. Nos primeiros segundos, eu até dei uma risadinha, já que a protagonista só se vestiu assim para provocá-lo, entretanto, depois ficou chato.
Ah, e essa não é a única cena que ele dá pitaco sobre como ela se veste, ok? Eu contei duas vezes. Além disso, também tiveram outras falas problemáticas e comportamentos absurdamente desnecessários. Minha recomendação para o protagonista: relaxa amigo, ela tá na sua!
Não é o melhor k-drama do mundo, então não vá com expectativas de encontrar um novo favorito, mas é bom o suficiente para ser o seu novo drama conforto. E por que eu digo isso? Vamos aos fatos: que casal incrivel! É tudo tão real entre os dois que, quando eu não derretia de amor, eu me sentia invadindo momentos especiais entre eles. <3
Para quem ama ver o povo se pegando, aqui temos MUUUITOS beijos – e bem feitos, viu? – e a melhor parte é que todos são no timing certo (assista e entenda, rs). Este não é um daqueles casos onde os atores não tem química e a produção tenta enganar os espectadores com muitas cenas de beijo. Na verdade, tudo o que acontece entre os dois é muito natural.
Mas relaxa, a quantidade de beijos e interações físicas também não passa do ponto, ou seja, você não vai se sentir desconfortável assistindo e pode até mesmo fechar os olhos e deixar passando na TV da sala que ninguém da sua família vai te tratar como um voyeur.
De toda forma, se "1% de Alguma Coisa" fosse lançado nos dias de hoje, penso que seria algo similar a "Pretendente Surpresa" ou "No Gain No Love" – embora a qualidade ainda seja relativamente inferior. Por isso, penso que vale a pena dar uma chance para este mini-querido de 2016.

Grande potencial, mas que infelizmente foi desperdiçado
O enredo inicial de No Gain no Love é cativante, assim como a introdução dos personagens principais. A protagonista, determinada e competitiva, se destaca por sua aversão à derrota, enquanto o outro é um trabalhador de loja de conveniência extremamente bondoso e inteligente. Nos primeiros episódios, o drama proporciona momentos divertidos e envolventes, mas a história começa a se perder quando é revelado que o protagonista é, na verdade, o filho bastardo do dono de uma grande empresa. A partir desse ponto, diversos sub-enredos se acumulam e, infelizmente, muitos acabam mal resolvidos ou simplesmente deixados em aberto.A forma como o CEO manipula os protagonistas a mando de sua mãe é particularmente frustrante, especialmente porque ele não demonstra qualquer arrependimento, nem mesmo no final. Ele não pede desculpas ao meio-irmão e tampouco restabelece a posição da protagonista na empresa, além de dar os créditos de sua ideia a outro funcionário – que, coincidentemente, é o ex-namorado dela. Esse funcionário, por sua vez, sai ileso, recebendo os méritos que não lhe pertencem e mantendo o casamento intacto, mesmo após ter enganado a esposa e perseguido outra mulher. Além disso, há outros pontos problemáticos, como o comportamento da irmã da protagonista, que, apesar das ações prejudiciais de seu interesse amoroso - o CEO - contra sua irmã e "cunhado", segue com o romance sem demonstrar preocupação.
A decisão de limitar a série a apenas 12 episódios foi claramente um equívoco, considerando a quantidade de enredos e conflitos que No Gain no Love tenta abordar. Isso se torna ainda mais evidente no episódio final, que é apressado e deixa várias pontas soltas, dedicando pouco tempo ao casal principal. As cenas finais são marcadas por um término abrupto e sem sentido, que poderia ter sido resolvido de forma mais coerente, seguido por uma rápida reconciliação que transmite a sensação de um desfecho feito às pressas. Enfim, um drama com grande potencial, mas que infelizmente foi desperdiçado.

COMÉDIA ROMÂNTICA DE RESPEITO!!!!
Que saudade que eu tava de uma verdadeira comédia romântica. Esse dorama entregou TUDO !!! Son Hae Yeong se sentia verdadeiramente injustiçada em relação a mãe. Achei válido o fato de ela sentir tanta mágoa, as vezes parecendo até egoísta, mas com toda a razão. Young Dae sempre viveu pra proteger alguém, pra cuidar ... Ainda não tinha vivido por ele mesmo, e a Hae Yeong veio pra fazer ele amar algo por si só, não por gratidão e nem por dever. Achei uma química ótima. Amei a atuação. E agora vou falar do pedido de casamento que mais me emocionou nos doramas: Gyu Hyun e Ja Yeon: QUE COISA MAIS LINDAAAAA. Enfim, amei muito.
