I swear I love this show!!!!?
Don't even get me started. I'm not usually one to watch shows with toxic relationships but this show was too good! It surely had me stressed though. Tim is the worse. I hated him. He was soooo loving to Pai and everything. He knew he wanted him and to be with him. BUT STILL DID ALL THAT SHIT. It's makes me mad just thinking about it. I feel like I'm madder than Pai!!!!😭😭 Pai deserved so much better and deserved for Tim to beg on his knees for at least a year till he decides to love him like before. Ugh this was a good rant! Was this review helpful to you?

When Duang got something expensive for Qin, he made sure to tell Duang that it was an issue since he's a student struggling. Duang did everything he could so that Qin would love him and even when he had lost faith in Qin's love, he made sure to stick by and try understandinh him the best way he could. Respect each other's boundaries and love each other countless. Their relationship is THE. standard! Was this review helpful to you?
Best GL i've ever watched
This review is coming from someone who find period drama's boring, i love the loyal pin!! so much!! Only just the title and cast from the start immediately show the care and love they put in making this masterpiece of a show. Like the music is stunning!!! They also did a good god picking the cast, like princess anin's family is perfect! couldn't cast anyone better. The story is simple with no to less conflict in the start that made me surprised that i was not bored and still made me engaged and hook in what is happening. Freen and Becky's Chemistry is really something, this is the show that their chemistry shines the best for me. for me this is the best freenbecky series i've watched and maybe the best all in all gl i'll ever watched. Was this review helpful to you?

I love SeaKeen.
Head2Head honestly has one of the best stories in whole GMMTV. I'm so glad SeaKeen got to act in such a good show!! It was so worth the watch and also worth a rewatch even though I've already rewatched it sm! I had read the novel while it was airing from how anxious I was to know more about the story. ITS THAT GOOD!!! The characters are so well written. Specially Jinn since he had issues with how Jerome Treated him when they were little. And Jerome because of how perfect his character was handled with all that he was going through. GMMTV did a great job with this show and so did SeaKeen, I can't wait to watch more SeaKean shows in the future! Was this review helpful to you?
You watched it for Freenbecky don't you?
If you finished the movie and you are like "what the hell happen?" Well you are like 80% of the population who have watched the movie. The story is very confusing specially to those who don't watch sci-fi movies. But don't get me wrong as much as i hate the ending for example freen on a grandma costume like can they just hire a real old person and like just add a necklace becky gave for us audience to recognize her... All and all i love the movie 99% of that loves comes from the chemistry freen and becky gives on screen. Was this review helpful to you?
I WAS ONLY HERE FOR FIGHT SCENES ?
I watched this because of only fight scenes but really enjoyed the drama so far 😄 li pa yi she is cold when she holds the sword shows no mercy on the villains who killed her master particularly when she kills main antagonist he was literally begging her to spare his life like a dog damn her white robe with shining sliver sword stained with the blood of bad people 🔥. But she sometimes lacks common sense like in pandemic scene it makes no sense to me 🥲 and the romance part i don't want to talk about it was same as other dramas but twist is that ml was in place of fml 😆 it was good he is just a scholar who don't know how to fight with swords he uses his clever ness to make plans and she acts as per his plans GOOD 👍THAT'S IT I HAVE OTHER DRAMAS TO WATCH BYE 👋

The one that started it all.
As i said this is the one that started it all. In 2022 it was the only full length gl series at that time. The Ost is nostalgic, i remember every time i hear it now i'll just smile and remember how cute freen and becky was at that time. No wonder it had almost a billion views collectively on youtube. I don't think any other show can top the legacy Gap has made. I know people may compare gap to newer show but i don't think it's fair, like you can't compare an iphone 4 to a new iphone 18 like the iphone 4 is bad now but it was great at it's time like GAP is great in 2022 and for some it will be forever timeless. Was this review helpful to you?
IT WAS A GOOD STORY but Missed FL ' s fight scenes ?
I enjoyed the acting but the story; it was started as revenge but slowly that part faded away i thought she is gonna fight along side with the main lead after the court breach but it was kindoff disappointment ☹️ also we never got to see a fullbscale war and ml fighting enemies in battlefield but for romance and healing part it was good 😊 her acting made us feel the pain of loosing people around us and how he always stood with her after realising she has PTSD and inside the protective bubble created by her brain after that what she faced. It was phychologic drama in costume period and it also shows how mentally strong was our old generation that she made came out of that after some one held her hands YAA THAT ITWas this review helpful to you?
Freen and Becky are chemistry icons.
Up to this date the air is the best tv rated gl show ever with it's 2+ rating every single week until the last episode. It proves that freen and becky are not just for hype or for online videos but they can also leveled with other shows on live tv. The show was a bit rush and not as polish but to be fair the production had a lot of problem with the scheduling and idol factory stepping back from the project but still it continued. The acting of the leads and even the side characters and villains. The characters Henry and Grace did a very convincible villain. All and all the chemistry of freenbecky bag it for me. All and all i'm waiting for freenbecky's next series. Was this review helpful to you?
Strong Performances, Forgettable Story
The male and female leads both did a great job with their performances. This is my third drama with Bai Lu. I've previously watched her in Till the End of the Moon and Only for Love, and I was never particularly impressed with her acting. At times, I found it a bit immature. However, she completely changed my opinion in this drama. Her performance was consistently strong from the very beginning, especially through her dialogue delivery. The scene in Episode 34 where she cries at the tomb was absolutely outstanding and, in my opinion, one of the best emotional moments in the series.
As for the drama itself, I thought the plot was easy to follow and well-structured. However, I found the overall pacing quite boring. It took me forever to finish because there were several episodes where I couldn't stay engaged. Sometimes I just let the show play in the background so I could eventually finish it and cross it off my watchlist.
Overall, while the acting especially Bai Lu's was a pleasant surprise, the story never really captivated me. I was honestly surprised to see so many people calling it the best period C-drama of 2026 so far. It simply didn't leave that kind of impression on me.

2ML - The Most Intriguing Character
The Legend of Rosy Clouds is a pretty weird watch. Parts of it are honestly super boring, but the humor is quite good that it kept me hooked. I think the drama has a low rating because it starts with a trope that a lot of romance fans aren't crazy about: an immediate divorce and a messy love triangle. The main couple gets married right in the first episode, but they split up almost immediately, even though they still care about each other. The reason? The female lead, Fan Yun (played by Li Yi Tong), doesn’t want to be a traditional housewife. Her dream is to become a government official. Her husband, Governor Qi Zheng (played by Joseph Zeng), sees her potential, grants her the divorce, and actually helps her chase her dreams. He is totally devoted to her, but unfortunately, she just doesn't feel the same way. Then we have a second guy who also adores Fan Yun. He will do absolutely anything to protect her, in his weird way, even though Qi Zheng usually beats him to it.
At its heart, this is a story about a woman fighting for equal rights so that everyday people and women can work in the government. It feels really modern, and it definitely reminded me of the real world, where older men still hold all the power.
The show takes way too long to get going. The first 20 episodes are a slow burn just setting up Fan Yun’s character, her goals, and her relationships with the two guys. Because it takes so long to build up, the first half of the drama feels like a drag. If it weren't for the funny moments, I might have dropped it.
Things finally pick up after Episode 20, but the writing is still all over the place. For example, a massive rebellion randomly happens out of nowhere. There is no buildup and no introduction to the rebels; they just suddenly appear. It felt like lazy writing just to force a plot twist. The villains are confusing too. One of the powerful "Elders" starts off looking like the big bad guy, but by the end, the show tries to make him a hero. It’s fine to keep the audience guessing, but it doesn't work when the character is just unlikable. To top it off, a whole new family (the Zheng family) pops up in the final episodes. Most of them are totally flat characters, yet they suddenly become a huge part of how the story ends, making the finale feel messy.
The best part of the show is how weird and quirky the characters are, though the writers didn't really do much with them.
There is a guy who constantly gets lost, but somehow he is a top official. There is a guy who plays a flute that everyone hates; he wins second place in the court exam and then just vanishes from the show for no reason. Then there's a boy medical genius who wins first place in the court exam and turns into a master martial artist whenever he drinks alcohol. He was cool, but his character development just stops, and he becomes background decoration. There is even a masked official who wears super bright, colorful outfits but never takes off his mask or contributes much after his introduction. They are all fascinating concepts, but they end up being pretty one-dimensional.
On the bright side, Joseph Zeng does a great job as Qi Zheng. The character isn't written very well, but Joseph’s acting and his big, expressive eyes completely save the character. I also really liked Deng Wei’s character, Zheng Shi (who goes by Lou Qi Yan when pretending to be a foreign trader). He leads a double life, defying his grandfather's wishes to become a top official so he can live a free life as a merchant instead. He’s a morally grey character, and Deng Wei totally aced the role.
For me, the sweetest part of the whole show was the relationship between Zheng Shi and his grandfather. It was so heartwarming. Honestly, I gave the drama a higher rating just because of them. It really hits home because anyone who has lost a parent or grandparent knows that feeling of regret for not listening to them while they were here.
Because I loved that relationship so much, I am disappointed about how the writers ruined Zheng Shi's ending. He was such a cool, complex character who started as a villain (kind of) but became a trusted friend to Fan Yun. But in the end, the writers turned his love into a toxic obsession. It totally ruined his image and ruined what could have been a really tragic, beautiful love triangle.
My Final Verdict
The Legend of Rosy Clouds has major pacing issues and sloppy writing. It spends way too much time spinning its wheels on character introductions and side characters that don't matter. But even with all the plot holes and frustrating choices, the comedy and the occasional emotional moments make it a decent watch. Watch it when nothing else to watch.

Good plot bad execution
This series has a good plot but bad executionOne among the things that affect it is pace it is so slow you get tired of it after episode 2.
They had a nice storyline that could have made this amazing and keep us on our toes instead they gave us a taste of something sweet and then left us like that just reminding us that we tasted something sweet than continuing giving it to us.
Let me give you an example the first episode human vapor shows his power and tell everyone he will do it again live on national tv and then story goes to somewhere else and then stay there until the end they come back to good stuff.
You can watch but you wont be satsified with it.

One of the most beautiful queer friendship movie,
Everything about this movie was amazing. From the cinematography to the acting and story. Every scene is extremely strong. As a gay man myself I feel like Heung Su is extremely relatable and well portrayed, unlike many Korean 'bl's'. It's realistic, with actual representation and homophobia. I didn't know what to expect at first, but you know a show is good when Primary is the composer. This is my first time watching a movie that Lee Eon Hee has directed but I'm for sure tempted to watch more of her work. The opening scene was extremely strong, just like many other scene's. Their friendships had up and downs, just like every realistic friendship. I really like how Koo Jae Hui was protective over Jang Heung and how she did not let any homophobia slide. They clearly cared about each other without romantic feelings attached. When they fight, they make up and come together again. I really need a friendship like this.
One main problem I have with Korean queer movies/series is how unrealistic it is compared to the reality in Korea. Korea is not the most LGBTQ friendly country and I liked how this movie showed the reality instead. I don't like how the homophobia topic is often ignored, and this show just showed it amazing. I also like how they made Koo Jae have realistic experiences as a female. How she is being called a sl/t for sleeping with men for example.
I'm extremely shocked by the acting. Everything feels real, relatable and I really lived along with Jang Heung. I feel like he acted amazing. Whether Steve Noh is straight or not doesn't matter. Either way he portrayed being gay extremely well. As for Kim Go Eun, she acted extremely well aswell. I love how she played the crazy friend. I'm gonna be honest but I wasn't super interested in her love life since she always ended up with red flags and honestly, I'm surprised Jang Heung was able to keep up with her, because I wouldn't. The homophobic mother being extremely absent was also a nice detail.
The whole French made my rating drop a bit because, as someone who is half French, this was extremely weird. Like sure Jae Hui has lived in Paris but the stereotypes were kinda crazy. I would've loved if they had chosen another city and less stereotypes. Also the French is a bit weird to listen to but that's okay. Calling her French because she lived in France made it confusing for me in the beginning.
I like how the movie had an open ending. You can make whatever you want to with it. I'm defiantly interested in seeing the actors and directors in/with other projects involved and I'm just extremely impressed. Just really happy about the actual representation and not just what the media shows you about Korea.
