This drama is fantastic; a more realistic interpretation of modern perspectives on relationships and marriage. This is a star studded drama that is not only well written but also excellently executed by the main and supporting cast. The drama is full of insightful and meaningful conversations that harmonize perfectly with the raw and thoughtful emotions of the three main couples in the drama. Each couple handled and performed their story in a very realistic and emotional way even when the real emotions were not easily perceived by their loved ones. The drama has a lot of wounded souls that got together, loved together, and healed together to become a strong support for each other. The development of each couple’s journey was sometimes heartbreaking to see but it was also the process that culminated in a better understanding of each other and a more profound and steadfast love. One character that is insightfully written and fantastically performed is Kim Hyun Ja [Ji Ho's mother] played by Kim Sun Young. Overall, this drama is insanely great and entertaining, enjoy it!

Good storyline and a must watch drama .

Let's first talk about its storyline It is definitely not boring, and it Keeps going better and better after every episode . Story is about Emperor's grandson who doesnt want to fight for throne but because of special circumstances And because of peace of nation he has to fight for it And in the process, he fell in love with the female lead . His father and brothers, who want the throne, are all useless , And for the throne, he wanted to kill li ni and in process many of his beloved one dies so he finally become crown prince ....

If we talk about actors they are really showing a very good chemistry . There are many few dramas every year who has such kind of great chemistry and they both are very strong and independent . Main lead very smart although all of the empire thinks that female leaders is a male But by first seeing her, he knows that she is a girl, which is quite interesting .

Music is also a very great and exciting which suits the war dramas and some osts are very relaxing I quite like them.

There are many few historical drama this year that I like most but I definitely know. This is one of them.

After completing this drama , i am feeling very happy because this is a epic drama ...

Really nice but missing a bit

I really liked the storyline and the charachter development of Akk. The relationship of Akk and Ayan is also really interesting, especially the hate to love dynamic but I feel like the series is missing something. The plot twist at the end had me speechless but after that the series kinda fades into just them being who they are now without really something happening. It's a great series but I couldn't re-watch it because the whole story with the school etc. is a bit too much to watch again. Also the other couple, Kan and Thua, seem kinda plane and their story moves on really quickly without much depth. The development of Thuas character was also quiet surprising and added a nice twist. In general the acting was really on point.

An amazing military/palace story told through the journey of a general and a Lieutenant

Okay, I just finished watching all four episodes and I gotta say, the story so far is really good. The storytelling is quite amazing. The pacing from scene to scene flows really well and makes the characters interaction natural. Everything is seamless so far. So props to the writers and director.

I really love Xu kai portrayal of this role. His character is quite believable and fun to watch. After his last role in Snow Eagle Lord, he's finally have a FL that can match him wit for wit, scheme for scheme, and It's exciting to watch him and the FL interact trying to see who will one up the other. Jing Tian is really holding her own. They complement eachother well. Their fight scenes (when they fight each other) reminds of of Yang Mi and Ethan Juan in Legend of Fuyao. The fughts feel like they are making love.

I have so many favorite scenes already. But one I want to mention is when ML and FL were on the mountain with the bandits and they were all walking outside singing and dancing and being happy. I love that whole sequence. lol I really love our mountain bandits. Also when they were in the tent and FL was tied up and her and ML were fighting with the soldiers, that scene was amazing. The whole thing with the old couple... omg...

The story reminds me a little bit of WRTW, but this is told more properly and the writing seems to be better than WRTW. I am excited to see how all this plays out and what's in store for them. Can't wait for the next episodes! If you are thinking of watching this, definetely give it a go!!!

I will update as the story progess

I'm Ride or Die for PalmNueng

The pre-existing bad reviews delayed my watching of this series, and given my rating, I'm so sad I didn't watch NLMG earlier. Anyway, I digress. I hope my review can convince someone to watch this gem of a series.

Right in the first episode, it sets the tone for the latter half of the show, and I don't understand those who feel that the gradual shift into more serious, deadly situations was sudden and random and didn't match the first half of the series. That sentiment is absolutely bonkers to me. The vibe and atmosphere from the start hinted at the future to come. The first few episodes show the calm before the storm, so to say, before the plot throws more drastic obstacles in the way of Nueng and Palm.

Saying NLMG is a "gangster" show is mischaracterizing and grossly misunderstanding the subgenre. Are there guns, shootings, and corrupt people playing dangerous games with the lives of the characters we care about? Yes.
Is NLMG in any way comparable to KinnPorsche except for the presence of those elements? NO.

Let's talk about Nueng and Palm. This series was my first encounter with both Pond and Phuwin, and they quickly took a spot high on my list of favorite BL actors. Their chemistry is amazing, and their romance is not just cute, but it has its hot moments as well. The build-up of their relationship over time is believable, and interesting, with both characters flawed and with their own prejudices, yet it becomes very clear how much they adore each other in the end.

I will acknowledge that some plot things that I clearly didn't mind might still bother some. There's some suspension of disbelief needed regarding the justice system and some things the characters don't do which you might have in their shoes. I was a little frustrated when a specific way of miscommunication between Nueng and Palm was used twice but with a different coat of paint, and yet, I still understood why it happened again. These things are worth the -0.5 off my rating.

I also want to quickly mention Ben and Chopper (Chimon and Perth) -- also my first encounter with these actors. While they are side characters, they are integral to both the plot and the main leads, and I absolutely adored their roles in the story. They are also flawed and make mistakes, just like Nueng and Palm, but they're understandable in every way and just made me love them more.

Side note; Another semi-important side character is Maggie. I heavily dislike her because I am an introvert, and she's undoubtedly very extroverted. She as a character with the personality she has might not bother you as much as she bothered me. I do think she handled dealing with Palm and Nueng pretty well, and she's a nice person too. Just not for me, hahaha.

Regardless, this show is very rewatchable to me and earned a spot among my favorite BLs without a doubt. Hope you'll give it a chance <3

A new hobby

I had no expectations going in. I just wanted to watched something nice and chill. Having one of my favorite Nogizaka46's members as the main character was just the cherry on top.
Gotta say this dorama surprised me. I was not expecting to like it so much.
There is something about seeing people falling in love with something and then sharing it with others that I just find so fun to watch.
Be prepared to learn about the world of plastic models, it goes beyond just Gundam and robots, and see how the script weaves in the specific model to what the character building it is going through.
Definitely recommend this one to everyone.

Justice is challenged by corruption

"Stranger," This crime thriller drama has an intriguing plot, well-developed characters, and suspense.

Prosecutor Hwang Si-mok, played by Cho Seung-woo, and a police officer Han Yeo-jin, portrayed by Bae Doo-na. The drama begins with the murder of a high-ranking official, which leads these two together, unraveling a web of corruption and conspiracy within the criminal justice system.

One of "Stranger's" standout features is its character development. Hwang Si-mok, with his emotionless exterior, hides a complex personality shaped by his traumatic past. However, the guy is like a robot sometimes. They reveal what happened to him but there were times I wished he would (or could) show more emotion. Cho Seung-woo delivers a remarkable performance, portraying Hwang Si-mok's inner struggle and determination with depth.
Bae Doo-na's portrayal of this dedicated police officer brings a sense of balance to the seriousness making her character relatable.

"Stranger" maintains a steady pace with its cleverly crafted suspense. The intricate plot unfolds gradually, revealing shocking revelations and unexpected twists that constantly challenge my assumptions. The blend of intense action sequences and quiet, introspective moments further enhances the overall viewing experience. With that said, however there were a couple of episodes where I found my mind drifting away.
Visually, "Stranger" is well done. The show's cinematography captures the gritty atmosphere of the criminal underworld when power meets corruption.

There are times when you think you know somebody or a coworker, but the reality is quite different. As a whole, I recommend watching "Stranger" if you're looking for an intelligent crime drama or thriller. Add this to your "to watch list" at a later date if you're in the mood for a comedy or a romance.

ANNOYING FL

Never felt as much annoyed with a FL as much as I watched other series. She just irritates me. I don't know if her character is meant that way. Too me, she seems dense and shallow. Not my cup of tea. This could have been a potential. I'm only at episode 14 and I couldn't continue watching because of her character. I love the sibling dynamic though. The game scenes were also boring for me. They could have done better. I also didn't feel much of the chemistry between the leads. I love Bi Wen Jun from his other characters and series but in here, they don't seem to have chemistry.

Not for everyone

But for me ✨️yes✨️
I enjoyed this one so much. I can say that it was a dose of peace,a happy place after a long day.

The chemistry>>>

It was simple,no plot twist ,and when it comes to obstacles, these two knew very well how to not make them important...Just two people who wants to be together,to matter what.
I'm crazy to see a fantasy ? It was a romcom , some people might call it boring, but for me was pure, they knew how to communicate and did not end up with an absurd break-up. Let's be real,if there's a word that can describe very well that situation ,it would be "rare".

That's all I can think when it's about King the land,no stress,Just a love story that everyone would like to be part of.

Hermès❤️

A wonderful drama

I did not know this was a remake but I enjoyed it thoroughly ! It is brilliant , well acted with some amazing photographic scenes and a story that keeps you on the edge of your seat . It never falters , keeps a good pace and your interest . A most enjoyable Back to the Future series . The cast is wonderful especially Jeon Yeo-been who transforms from a 36 year old woman into an awkward teenager through skills and good acting . Three characters time travelled but the story never loses its focus until it is all resolved . There won't be any going back into the past . The past is safe . The future remains in the future and the ending predicts a forthcoming romance . The theme song is beautiful .

So much drama I love it

Not going to lie but the first time I saw this I was reminded of Manner of Death. Thanapat Kawila really portrayed his role and I hated his character but somehow ended up falling in love with him. The story does not focus only on the 'chemistry' of the main characters but it builds a sense of caring for us viewers which I am thankful for, I mean no viewer wants to watch a show without caring about the character unless the character is the villain and you're waiting for them to suffer, in my opinion. I loved how they made Mr lawyer redeem him and showed us the progress of change, I am thankful for the fact that they did not make him instantly 'nice' again.

Gold

It is so perfect from the secret crush to them finding love, a lot of stones in their path but love can’t be stopped once it blooms. Interesting side characters that keep pushing the mainlead to not let his chance be wasted. Of cause jealousy gives the last push to get him to act, even if he is thinking that he is the only one in love. Definitely worth to be rewatched once we get a international release date.
Story, Actors, Music, Picture - all 10/10 It all fits well together, I especially loved the little glistening every time they fell more in love.

Hard choices to pursue your dream and happiness

The Dr. Cha series was good. The drama revolves around the life of Dr. Cha, a talented and dedicated doctor who faces numerous personal and professional challenges.

One of the highlights of this drama is the exceptional cast acting. The lead actor portrays Dr. Cha (Uhm Jung Hwa) with such conviction and depth that you can't help but empathize with her struggles and root for her success. Her husband (Byung Chul) plays the typical insensitive and non-supportive spouse. All of this pushes you to empathize with her cause and to hope she chooses the right path for herself. The supporting cast also delivers commendable performances, adding layers of complexity to the overall narrative.

Dr. Cha's writing was well done. The pacing is engaging, but the story was somewhat predictable. However, adding additional potential interest kept me engaged. (remember that empathy build up) Perhaps to break up that predictability. The blend of melodrama, romance, and medical themes creates a perfect balance, making the storyline both intriguing and relatable.
The drama's production quality is good. The set designs, costumes, and cinematography transport you into Dr. Cha's world. Attention to detail is evident.

Furthermore, Dr. Cha tackles various societal issues, shedding light on the challenges faced by medical professionals and the ethical dilemmas they encounter. It beautifully explores themes of love, sacrifice, forgiveness, and redemption.
I enjoyed Dr. Cha, but I just found it a little above average. It was the acting and the intrigue of what may happen next that kept me attracted to the show despite the predictability.
