BEST PROPOSAL I'VE EVER SEEN IN KDRAMA HISTORY!

Not a K-Trauma! Something about this kdrama is soo comforting and warm. Tbh, it was very predictable that it might have a sad ending BUT this did infact not have a sad ending and I'm glad because everyone deserves a happy ending after all they've been through. The casting is PERFECT, the roles fit them all so much and all of them pulled off in their roles and acting. I love how they made me feel what they were feeling in that drama because of how good everyone's acting is. I love how my two favorite female actresses are both in this drama which are Haran and Hayeong! I LOVE THEM BOTH, like I said INCREDIBLE CASTING. Hayeong is so RELATABLE of all the 3 sisters, she's funny and witty. I like how they don't have a terrible family member or no villains at all in the show, in general. But instead they deal with their problems and trauma, which is already enough that they don't need villains in their life because they went through so much. Whoever had this idea of storyline, I LOVE IT. It's so unique about this seasons and all. I like how the FL's family had their own pair, even their grandmother. It's unique to see 3 granddaughters as well and all of them being good people. I like the coffee house owner and his dog GENIUS, something about his cafe is so comforting that I'd definitely be a regular everyday. I like how most of them KNOW to talk about what they're feeling to each other, like the ML and FL. Which isn't a common thing that I see in kdramas unlike this one. They have a way with words about life that's so inspiring. The story though seemed a bit rushed though... They could've made it 16 episodes. Like Hayeong and her pair, we didn't have enough screen time with them. I liked how slow burn it was in the beginning but the ending was just not it. I was wondering when she'd know the truth and it took too long like almost ep 11 and so on, I think. But I seriously wanted a whole episode wherein it could've been our favorite happy exciting episode and that's usually in ep 12 if it only had 16 episodes more. (Haran's dress is too plain and simple though in the end, but I loved Hadam's and Hayeong's dress) But I loved the proposal!!! THAT'S SO UNIQUE AND ADORABLE. I wish more songs were played though during their sad or happy moments. Also, I sobbed every episode. It was sooo good! Definitely rewatching again soon!

Really interesting but some things weren't necessary

I loved this drama sm but the plot twist of her being xu meng really shifted my view of their relationship. I know he fell in love with her personality but it's a bit illegal to see him looking at her like that when she looks like her sister. overall the plot was really good and I really liked the second couple, I loved the OST and I have been trying to find it (so far I have only found one of them)

I saw qi yandi in Falling into your smile as su luo for the first time and seeing her come this far makes me really proud of her, I love her acting as well as ren yujie

what is the hype about…?

Maybe it’s a product of its time, or maybe this should have been my first drama instead of watching it years after getting into the genre but I really struggle to understand the hype. I’ve started this drama three times. On the third attempt, I told myself I just needed to be patient and find the right mindset but that wasn’t it either apparently.

The age gap is the strangest part, and it’s made even more noticeable by the complete lack of chemistry between the main leads. Honestly, the only remotely interesting part of this drama was the Grim Reaper and his backstory. This is one of the slowest dramas I’ve ever watched?! it took seven episodes for anything to really happen. I ended up skipping a lot and I can confidently say I didn’t miss much, because there are only minor plot developments every few episodes.

Overall, this is one of the worst dramas I’ve ever watched, which is a shame because I did enjoy the bromance between the Goblin and the Grim Reaper and I was really hoping to be as hyped and excited about this show as everyone else around me. Hard pass.

I liked it. Not my favorite, but a good show to sit down and watch.

The series was nice and I loved the chemistry between Song Mo and Dou Zhou had. I did unfortunately get bored near the end, and skipped through quite a bit, but I'll rewatch this at a later date and see if my feelings change. I am happy with the ending though, I won't say anything but it was sweet.

"You can see the world anyway you like"

Daughter does in eight minutes what longer films fail to do in two hours. Ostensibly an advertisement for the iPhone 11Pro, it was far more than that. Phones played no part except for the fact that it was supposedly shot with an iPhone. Theodore Melfi directed the film and Lawrence Sher was the cinematographer, both Academy Award Nominees.

Zhou Xun plays a mother estranged from her own mother. She drives a taxi and takes her daughter to work with her for which she is often criticized. The little girl, Dou Dou, entertains herself with a homemade telescope, viewing the world with a few accessories from the window of the cab. Not everyone complains about sharing the backseat with Dou Dou offering themselves up as temporary surrogate “parents.” New Year’s Eve and a desire for dumplings and to share dumplings offers a chance for healing.

Zhou Xun gave a wonderfully complex performance in this short film/commercial as the daughter who refused to fit into the mold her mother made for her and also as the mother of her own daughter. The little girl was adorable which helped seal the deal. “Daughter” had a compelling ending that made this old Butterfly tear up. Definitely worth 8 minutes, especially for daughters who both need their mothers and their own identities separate from them.

A BEAUTIFUL MASTERPIECE !!!

I honestly don't even know where to start with this drama. I started it last month because it's been on my watchlist for some time now, and I cannot believe it took me this long to start it! Hou Minghao was the main reason that I watched this drama, as he is one of my favorite actors, but Zhou Ye was fantastic in this as well! I definitely need to watch more of her dramas. This drama was honestly perfection from start to finish.

While the drama does start off a bit slow, just trust the process! I promise it keeps getting better with every episode. The chemistry between HMH and Zhou Ye was honestly so great, and I also just loved how they went from being enemies to reluctant allies to lovers. This drama definitely took me on an emotional rollercoaster, and I loved (most) of the side characters, especially Xiange, Bai Xiaosheng, Feng Qian Shao, Huan Xiao Yan, and Zhu Li. The young spirits in Dragon Valley had my entire heart, and I was so devastated when one of them died :((

Su Ying and Ling Fei drove me insane in this show, and the way that they are equally both just as bad as one another. I felt so bad for Lu Musheng, because Su Ying wouldn't give up on him, and she's so selfish. And honestly, don't even get me started on how Su Ying betrayed Tian Yao on the day of their wedding. The way that she never loved him and was just using him to get what she wanted?? Absolutely not! I don't even want to talk about Ling Fei, because she's honestly just as irritating. I am glad that these women got what they deserved in the end.

The love story between Tian Yao and Yanhui absolutely devastated me in every single way. While the way that Tian Yao was acting towards Yan Hui, especially when she initially confessed her feelings for him, stung and I hated that he broke her heart, I could also understand where he's coming from. The person that he thought genuinely loved him and who he genuinely loved turned out to be just using him for her own personal gain. I understand that he was scarred so deeply from what Su Ying did to him, but that didn't mean it hurt to see him break Yan Hui's heart.

And when Yanhui started to completely avoid him after he stabbed her in the heart twice to retrieve the Heart Protecting Scale without telling her, it stung, but I hate to say that he deserved to grovel for a bit. I mean, he could've just at least told her that he needed to get the Heart Protecting Scale? Especially if it was to save the people of Dragon Valley? Yanhui would've probably agreed to give it back if she knew WHY Tian Yao needed to do what he did. That miscommunication and misunderstanding hurt, but I'm glad that Yan Hui didn't forgive him right away, even if it was clear that she still cared for him.

Tianyao's death in the middle of the drama had me in tears. When he casted the Life-Swapping Spell to save Yanhui, I actually burst out into tears. I'm glad that he was reborn, though, and his "baby" dragon arc was so freaking cute! Also, the way he got jealous was so so cute <3 I loved that Yan Hui never gave up on him, and was so incredibly patient with Tian Yao as he slowly regained his memories of his first life, as well as memories of how they met.

Ok, and because I don't want to make this review any longer than it already is, THE ENDING. HAD. ME. SOBBING. Yan Hui's death and the way that she defeated the Dark Lord? She's honestly such a strong female lead. The scene where she's slowly fading away and Tian Yao is sobbing and shaking his head??? Broke my heart into a million pieces Read More

A Masterpiece

I watched because I had nothing to watch. Even my dad watched with me and he loved it! I totally recommend this. This is a masterpiece that I will never forget.
The acting is on point, the storyline is unpredictable, even the OST is amazing (it's on my Spotify Playlist!). It's also very funny, but I cried once during one scene. The visual effects are magical. there's not one thing that it's bad about this series. I could wacth this forever that I would never get tired. If they wanted to do like...10 seasons, I wouldn't mind at all

An Almost Perfect Series

I laughed, I cried, and I cried some more. This series truly took me on an emotional rollercoaster. Evan Lin is not only gorgeous looks wise, but his voice is one of the purest I've ever heard as a singer and musician myself. I related to this series on such a deep level it's really remarkable. Falling in love wasn't something I ever thought would happen for me, but it did. And when it ended I truly didn't know how to move on. So, just like the series, I didn't. I am Su Nian Qin living each day as though he's coming back. Often times I have looked this series up to watch it again, but I just can't because I don't have the strength to face my own emotions head on. Truly a beautifully done series.

Wait, it's still not over?

I don't want to make it seems as though I didn't love things about this series, because I did. The headstrong, no-nonsense, strong female character was fantastic. The true devotion of a warlord was swoon worthy, but the series itself was just sooooo looooong. Sixty Eight Episodes? It was really hard to get through it all in one go, so I took several breaks to watch other dramas and then came back to it.

Wu....will woo u GMMTV HIT A JACKPOT???

Pros:Very New genre of story for BL gmmtv.Stellar perfomances and cinematography🎦.All the actors are well casted according to their roles. The cameos are very intresting and 100%done with sinecrity. The leads chemistry is chemistrying soo hard,I'seated 🍿Phi'Krist 😈character is amazing everytime he is on screen such a thrill to watch him perform,he is nailing it.The political and mythological aspects are well blended.I love that the characters have their own flaws and they are acknowledging it.I absolutely love when we have protogonits,anti-hero and antagonists it will make the storytelling much more intresting and thrilling.
Cons:Only con is short episodes🤧
ep:1-3 Sky(Narin) and Nani(Pete) did very good job in their respective roles. The cinematogrphy of this series is amazing not typical gmmtv it kinda screams high budget💸💸 Netflix (budget is budgeting lol).An unexpected but well served cameo(Sea),as a viewer i was excited. The pilot episode has smooth pacing and establishes major character traits and dynamics and peaks viewer intrest with"mystery" ☠️🪄✨🔮 and eery elements. Not really sure if it is gonna lean into full blown horror genre, but as of ep1 it is thriller with some dark elements. One more thing to discuss is Pete's subtle comedy,Nani as an actor is performing well than his previous. The 2&3 episodes catch up on pacing and we are getting into main plot without any delay. Some more Cameos(Phuwin,Great) did absolutely great performances their chemistry with other actors flow naturally as establishing these characters have past together which peaks audiences intrest.

Under Rated Unique Gem

The story took me by surprise, and despite the low budget, I applaud the cast and crew for presenting a morally complex drama.

I was immediately drawn to the quirkiness and the twists and turns as the story unfolded. I don't want to give too much away, as the story is meant to unfold and take you by surprise at what is going on behind the scenes.

I hope you will give this a try and find it the hidden little gem that I did.

Such a Fox

Fox has so many different meanings depending on what country you are in or the context of it. Lee Dong Wook captures each meaning superbly in this series. He's both charming and sly, sweet and dangerous. I appreciated the mix of modern and historic working hand in hand to really round out the story. There were parts I found unnecessary as well as other areas I wish they would have delved deeper into. Still, it was a great series and one that I've watched more than once in fact.

Beautiful

This series was absolutely stunning from the cast to the scenery to the scores. However, the ending was a little too abrupt for me. I know there is a 2 part follow up, and I'm hoping all that I felt deprived of is there to fulfill that lacking feeling. Still I love Dylan Wang and will pretty much watch anything with him in it ESPECIALLY if he has long hair. Historic/Fantasy dramas are definitely for me. And he plays fierce so very well. I loved the series for the most part, and if I didn't have so many new dramas to watch, I might actually watch this one again.

I recently watching this series, and overall, it was a really engaging experience. From the very first episode, the storyline pulled me in with its interesting concept and well-paced narrative. The plot was thoughtfully developed, keeping a good balance between suspense, emotion, and character growth. Each episode added something meaningful, which made it hard to stop watching.

OH, WOW!

As someone who avoids Wuxia and Historical genre in chinese dramas, I was truly amazed by how amazing Love In The Clouds was.

I had previously watched Love Between Lines, and one of the main reasons I loved that drama was the female lead: funny, charming, and smart all at once. Thankfully, LITC delivers a similarly engaging heroine. She’s witty without being over-the-top, emotionally strong without losing her softness, and her comedic timing adds a refreshing lightness to a genre that can sometimes feel overly serious or heavy.

The plot itself balances fantasy, romance, and drama quite well. While it follows some familiar tropes of the genre such as immortal realms, fate, misunderstandings and, well, spitting blood, it manages to keep things interesting with good pacing and emotional stakes. I especially appreciated that it didn’t drag unnecessarily, and each arc felt purposeful in building both the story and the characters.

Now, the chemistry between the leads? Easily one of the strongest aspects of the drama. Their dynamic feels natural and evolves beautifully over time. There’s tension, tenderness, and just enough playful interaction to make their relationship believable and enjoyable to watch. You really feel invested in their journey together.

And then there’s the second male lead who is completely, obsessively devoted. While that trope can sometimes feel repetitive, here it was portrayed in a way that made him memorable rather than annoying. His intensity added emotional depth and conflict, and honestly, I found myself both frustrated with and fascinated by him.

One of the biggest surprises for me was the ending. As a HEA lover, the endings in historical and wuxia/xianxia dramas that often lean toward tragic or bittersweet conclusions, is mostly the main reason why I dislike that genre, so getting a happy ending felt incredibly satisfying. It tied everything together nicely and left me with a sense of closure rather than emotional devastation.

Overall, I’d rate it an 8/10. It’s a well-rounded drama with lovable characters, strong chemistry, an engaging plot, and a rewarding ending. Even if you’re not usually into wuxia, this one is definitely worth a try.
