Our Sticky Love, or how not too google your name when you have amnesia
Full disclosure. I skimmed the last three episodes, I guess one guy is another guy's dad?? Doesn't matter.I'm giving this a 6, since technically it is a drama, it has a story, it has acting in it, it has music. People had to do some work to get this out. So a 6 should be fair. The reason I finished the show is to see how Ha Young pulls off her first lead role. I think she can do a lot better and I can only hope she gets the chance to, but with more competent showrunners.
A prosecutor(Ha Young) who drives a fancy sports car and is in her own words "loaded", gets in trouble with a corrupt mayor and a chairman, who are untouchable and can do whatever they want. An ex-gangster(Jung Hae In) saves her and then we get 8 episodes of her not being a character and him being a loser. Oh and she has amnesia, so of course she falls in love with the guy and whatever happens happens. Nothing makes much sense and if you want your stories to be believable, skip this one. Why does she not google her real name when she finds out what it is? Because if she did, the show wouldn't have a story anymore. Why do they not tell her about her past? Because if they did, the show wouldn't have a romance anymore.
The lead pair do not convince me that their romance is in anyway real. Neither character has a recognizable identity that the other could fall for. Or I guess one is very hot and the other is a care bear? Point is, the romance doesn't work, I'm not sold on it and it fails to elicit any emotional reaction from me as a viewer. In other words the romance does nothing to increase the enjoyment I get as a viewer. The second couple? There was a second couple? Nothing there, just a ticked checkbox.
What's left when the romance falls flat in a rom-com(made me laugh once I think, can't remember which part though), is a Swiss cheese plot. And since the story also falls flat, the entire show is a pancake. There is also a lot of meaningless violence with the sole purpose of showing how bad the bad guy is. News alert, he's a real nasty guy! But I care so little about the fate of the characters that he is supposed to antagonize, that his virulently evil personality falls into the same category as most aspects of this show, it's meaningless. I hindsight, Heo Sung Tae's character got the most development of all the characters, which could have been a positive thing if it was balanced with meaningful arcs for the leads. Alas.
There's no reason to care for the story, it is nonsensical. There's no reason to care for the romance, it's told, not shown. So where does that leave the show? Smack in the middle of mediocrity.
To finish on a more positive note. There's another Ha Young joint on the horizon, let's hope she can live up to the potential she showed in Doona! and Trauma Code, cause this wasn't it.

Went in blind very good watch great suspense
This was a good watch i will say that i went in blind for this show as in the only thing i knew was the language of the show and that it had something to do with the husband. I saw the front page and watched it from that alone no research whatsoever. That and that it said thrilling watch on my Disney.Plot:
What initially drew me in the story at the start was that it appears to be a story about a troubled marriage and hiow they would deal with it as they went along. I was very quickly blindsided and quickly develops into a tense and unpredictable thriller, and the show does an excellent job of keeping you questioning what is really happening at most points, and when you finally thought you got it it changed. I had initially thought that he had just regretted getting her kidnapped but suddenly hidden spy cams are found. It blew my mind honestly. It might have blown me because its been a while since i last watched a thriller but it was such a good reveal. Also, the whole wife being kidnapped for ransom and you figure out that there might be something more hidden underneath, first the husband and then later the father to the culprit
The suspense:
For me, the show was very suspenseful it kept me going and guessing as i mentioned so the suspense is another major highlight. The drama constantly gives you pieces of information without revealing the whole picture too quickly. I feel like some dramas does that sometimes. It really makes it difficult to predict where the story is going at points. Just when you think you've figured something out, another detail changes the way you see the situation. That sense of uncertainty makes the episodes very easy to binge. If you are a type of watcher to binge shows rather than watch as they air. I binged the show when i found it.
The action scenes:
The action deserves credit as well. It feels relatively grounded and desperate rather than overly glamorous. The shows action scenes are well choreographed to the point where it feels real and that this could actually be how that situation would play out. You can feel that the characters also have their quirks like how SeYuns life of rock climbing does that her character knows how to get around a rope and can climb to places, is strong mentally etc . The characters aren't invincible, and the danger actually feels dangerous. That makes the more intense moments much more effective.
The acting:
One cant make a review without also mentioning the acting. It really does have its strengths here. Min Namkoong's performance is immaculate . He brings a lot of depth to his character his micro expressions are on point and the way that he embodies his character is just great, particularly i'd say that as the situation around him becomes increasingly desperate, his acting becomes better and better. He plays a man who is forced FAR outside his comfort zone. Watching him gradually become more desperate, determined, and actually just very emotionally unstable makes the character feel much more human and believable for a man in that state.
Overall, id say that the show is a good watch for a thriller. The acting is good, the story keeps moving, the twists are fun, and it gets more interesting as it goes.

This is everything I asked for. It has all I needed: romance, comedy, thriller, action, drama and LOTS of tears. And OF COURSE Jung Hae In, I'd watch anything you're in. Watched all of it in less than 24 hours and sobbed tears of sadness and joy. Highly recommend, do yourself a favor and watch this.Was this review helpful to you?

They Built It Up For WHAT
The premise genuinely hooked me. A man whose life was destroyed enters the entertainment industry with one goal —> Revenge. The world it builds behind the cameras is grimy and real, full of manipulation, power games and people using each other to survive. Watching Sun navigate all of that while carrying years of anger was actually compelling television.
And then the ending happened and I felt personally wronged.
The show spent episode after episode establishing how powerful and untouchable the main opponent was. The tension was building. The stakes felt real. And then the resolution arrived and took approximately fifteen minutes. They pulled out some copyright and song rights issue, a board member casually revealed Arthur's true identity, the company was returned, and the big terrifying villain who had been looming over everything died of a heart attack. No fight. No struggle. No satisfying takedown. A heart attack.
I don't think anyone fully understood how it was resolved and I genuinely believe the writers were counting on that.
And just to make sure nobody complained they threw in a kiss at the end. Cute. Did not fix anything.
Also Jay repeatedly forcing himself on Sun is not a character flaw I am willing to overlook just because the man is attractive. Face cards cannot save the bad you do.

Qiu Che Fu's first ML role - steamy romance but lacked chemistry
I watched this drama last year because I am a fan of Zhai Xin Ran + this is a jiejie romance. I immediately recognised ML the moment he appeared on screen - he played Ma Xiao Yu's assistant in that drama with Guo Yu Xin. He was a looker alright and good that he got a ML role. However, this drama left me with mixed feelings.What I liked:
1. ML characterisation - Devoted & patient. I saw him as green flag but some may see him as a simp.
2. FL characterisation - Emotionally strong & not easily intimidated by bullies.
3. Romance - Stramy with plenty of kisses. Well she wanted a baby and he definitely was the giver in their relationship.
4. Acting - I thought Qiu Che Fu did fine for his first ML role. It was also good to see Zhai Xin Ran as FL with dominant personality. I liked the actor who portrayed SML, which turned out to be Wen Zhi Cheng (I didn't know his name when I watched this drama).
What I disliked:
1. Chemistry - There was lack of chemistry between QCF & ZXR despite the onslaught of kisses. Such a shame given that Zhai Xin ran excelled playing FL against Wang Chen Peng.
2. Antagonist - Another father-daughter combo that was envious of FL. I also disliked SML.
3. Ending - It was rushed. I wish we got glimpse of their relationship after every secret of ML was out.

ABSOLUTE CINEMA
All I can say is that i love this series so much. I love the plot, the characters, the ost and even the side characters. The whole time I was watching this was either I’m breaking down with tears or I’m smiling like an idiot. The amount of times I cried during this series is like crazy. Like if tear tax was a thing, I would probably have a million dollars right now.Just when I thought that Last Twilight was sooo good this series literally proved me wrong. I feel like every JimmySea series keeps on getting better and better. Towards the end, I feel so much loved like after all the turbulence of sadness I went through I was finally getting comforted. There isn’t much comment I can say cause I feel like everything is seamless like overall, it’s just so good that I can’t think of a harsh critique.
I 100% recommend this series to everyone. Go watch it and like give them the recognition they deserve! I love them sm!!

HOLY ACTING
This is like one of my favorite BL dramas! The acting, the characters and just the song paired really well with the overall plot of the story. The songs are not the type I would listen to on my playlist but it works well with the scenes that’s used in every episodes!I do feel like the story is unique, it’s something new. I haven’t seen any series or movies that tackle the concept of people with visual impairment the way this series does. It’s heart warming but also gut wrenching because each characters have their own problem that they are trying to overcome. And all these problems also turned into a lesson for the characters to become a better person regardless of their personality or their background.
I really like Day (main character) and Mhok (Male lead) relationship. The chemistry is off the charts even if they weren’t on good terms from the start. The way that they unfold their feelings and just always being their for the other person makes my heart melt. Especially during their break up scene , like I almost drop down and cry. Because it is an important scene for Mhok’s character development and it’s important because Mhok needs to understand that Day doesn’t need him to babysit him 24/7. And at the time, Mhok didn’t understand why Day would want to break up with him because he wanted to be by Day’s side all the time.
Overall I do recommend people to watch this series! There is not a single boring episode I can promise u that! Wishing to have more series that are like this!I love the casting btw :)

But like holy shit the plot twist in the end? That was also crazy but I'm happy about that too! I wished for more BLs like this PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE! I can't believe I finished this drama in like less than two days! I'm insane!!
Anyways truly kudos to the actors and the whole crew for making this series come to live and possible! Truly one of the best bL series!!! Totally recommended!

Spoilers ahead!I freaking love cooking shows, whether its about competitions or having some romance in-between, as long as it has food I am sold. I was watching this series when it was still airing but I only got the chance to review it today. I remember looking forward for the next episode throughout the week when I was stumped with work, like this is one of the shows that motivated me to go through the week.
One of my favorite episodes would have to be when the production team had to bring in people that does mukbang on the set and the chefs had to work together to come up with the menu and serve them. There was a lot of intense moments but it was an interesting twist because its a fresh concept. Another one would have to be the endless tofu episode, I remember I was rooting for the black spoons and Chef Edward Lee, I just love him so much cause he's funny and the idea about how he managed to come up for his food is just so unique.
Another honourable mentioned was when the chefs that got eliminated a chance to redeemed themselves by cooking with the ingredients from the convenience store. That episode itself is very engaging and worth the watch! I didn't think like you could make a restaurant level dishes from it, which was really cool. I've seen some people re-creating it on tiktok.
There's nothing much for me to critique because I felt that every participant that attended worked really hard to get the spot here. Overall, I do recommend giving this a watch if you love food and just seeing these chefs create unique dishes. All the food that they made looks so good on screen, I bet it tastes amazing in real-life.

Honestly when I first watched it while it was airing, I only watched one episode and then stopped to watch something else because I didn’t understand the plot of the story. But then I did came back to watch it again, I persuaded myself to watch at least 3 episodes because the first episode didn’t really hooked me up.SPOILER!
I think after episode 2 onwards I started to understand the plot and the storyline gets interesting. The story does contain grape cause u know lack of consent and communication. So it might turn people off but the male lead did suffer after the mc knew about his schemes. (As he should after what he did)
Anyways moving on from that, it is a happy end so yippie. I don’t really have any comment except for the grape part, I think i would rated it higher if it wasn’t for grape and the lack of communication from the second couple (talking to you Shen Wen Lang). I swear he just believes everyone says and he is so dense ?. NAH CAUSE LIKE- the doctor literally hinted that his secretary Gao Tu is an omega but bro didn’t get it so the misunderstanding keeps on going on-..
I do see the insane chemistry though between the couples, not so much for the second couple. For the second couple I think Shen Wen Lang needs to go for a check up real quick to make sure he is okay cause how does he not know that Gao Tu has feelings for him..
Okay enough of my rant. Do I recommend this? If you don’t might red flags and like omegaverse then I would definitely say yes!!

Fates and fated once [closure, for peace of mind]
The show’s format is remarkably convincing—crafted in such a way that it bends even logic-seeking minds toward belief. Its structure validates itself with a logical soundness that makes viewers question their own skepticism. For me, it was both stress-relieving and thrilling: episode after episode hit with chilling intensity, leaving me in tears, drip after drip.Yet, as much as I was drawn in, a part of me resisted complete trust. The finale especially sharpened my doubts. While the participants claimed blessings and seemed to hear spirits in real time, the production carried all the hallmarks of a reality show—twists, rage-baiting confrontations, and carefully arranged drama. Still, another part of me chose belief, caught between fascination and distrust.
Among the many who showcased their specialties, arrogance stood out in some—like self-proclaimed “chosen ones” deciding fate, reminiscent of governments. Many repeated the line: “I didn’t choose to become a shaman.” That sparked my curiosity. If one is truly a shaman, must they take clients and serve spirits? Several had parallel jobs outside shamanism. Couldn’t someone simply live as a shaman, serving spirits privately, without commodifying it? If their role is to reveal fate, guard against misfortune, or guide others, why charge for it? Why turn spiritual service into financial exchange? If they cannot decide their own fate, how can they claim to guide others in embracing or avoiding theirs?
Personally, I believe no god or spirit demands sacrifice or submission through suffering. It comes down to willpower and the choices one makes in life. The show, however, provoked deep thought. I do believe in energies and forces that influence us—just as planets are bound to stars, so too can a speck of dust be swayed by cosmic forces. People experience what they believe, and belief itself shapes reality.
Toward the end, the show felt less like mystical revelation and more like expensive therapy for grief. Watching spirits “take over” bodies to say “I miss you” or “I wanted to live” was both creepy and fascinating. It resembled a refined performance of emotional release, yet the accuracy of details—things the shamans supposedly didn’t know—added a chilling edge.

This was a thought-evoking, emotionally charged show. It entertained, challenged belief, and blurred the line between spiritual force and psychological comfort. For me, it left the impression that while energy and destiny may exist, much of what we see is shaped by human need—for meaning, for closure, for peace of mind

My thoughts on this series!
Honestly i didn't expect to finish the series at all because i came for the food. But after i watch one episode i was instantly hooked into the series! I was watching as it was airing so i had some doubts on how its going to end. The pacing was okay, it has a slight rush but it was still okay for me.SPOILER!
Towards the end i slowly started to lose interest because i expected a bigger plot on how the grand prince will execute the treason so when he just send someone to read the drafts to everyone during the male lead's grandmother birthday the plot became underwhelming. Though I do understand that perhaps they didn't have time because most of the time went towards the expressions of how the food taste heavenly.
There are no filler episodes but the expressions when they eat the food is too long. The zooming in on the lips and them imagining the flavors is a bit too long. Overall, its a good watch if you're bored.

A very good acting experience!
So i just finished The Blessed Girl and damn, its was intense!The story itself is not very crazy and the last 10 episodes we can even say its a big mess and very not well written BUT and its a big but, the acting is what keeping you watching this drama.
The cast is very good, Linglong played by Zhao Jin Mai is perfect but the real Main Character to me it's Yuan Hong as her father. The chemistry, his humor, everything suit very well and even the support characters are great, the whole cast have a crazy chemistry.
I can't imagine what the show could be with a good writing story and plots, it's not bad (especially the CGI who is a high level) but there very big problems and clearly you dont watch this drama for the story.
If you like fantasy things, with the feeling for 2017-2018 old drama and some characters very played then you can watch it. I give it a 8/10 because of the cast and the relation between Linglong and his father is one of the best i'have seen so far, but if you start it and like i said, don't have high expectations for the story.

Good story
Congratulations to everyone who was part of this project! I genuinely looked forward to every new episode and enjoyed the journey from beginning to end.Of course, nothing is ever perfect, but when you have a good story and great chemistry between the actors, a little imagination can fill in the gaps and make you overlook the flaws.
I actually think the ending was a good one. After everything these characters went through, and after so many deaths, simply surviving doesn’t necessarily mean getting a happy ending. Sometimes, surviving is just the beginning of learning how to live again.
And as a fan of the multiverse concept, I like to believe that there is always another world somewhere out there — one where things turned out differently, and perhaps a little better. ❤️

Many plot armor, and FL centric. Don't expect good romance here.
The premise is actually quite interesting, but since I haven't read the novel, I had a lot of questions throughout the drama. The story follows the FL, who enters the body of another princess and sets out to take revenge by gaining a powerful position, controlling her own fate, and dominating the political power game.However, the drama never properly explains what happened to the original owner's soul. More importantly, how can the FL suddenly become so attached to and genuinely care about the original owner's family after their souls have been swapped? There is almost no explanation for this. There is a theory that the two souls eventually merged, with the FL's soul taking control because it was more dominant, but the drama never explicitly confirms this. So, for now, that is just a theory rather than an explanation provided by the story itself.
💠The acting from the entire cast is quite good. The martial arts choreography and special effects are also well done. Both leads are extremely handsome and beautiful, which certainly makes the drama easier to sit through. However, the sets feel very familiar. They look like the same kinds of sets used in many other historical Chinese dramas, and I could even recognize several locations that I remember seeing in other productions.
💠The story is heavily centered around the FL, while almost every other character exists mainly to support her goals, including the ML. From the very beginning, she is pursued by practically every prince, and even by the end, three prince's still have feelings for her. One of them becomes so ridiculously obsessed with her that I honestly found him disgusting, especially because the FL continues to keep him around until the very end.
💠Other characters are mostly treated as supporting pieces. The second couple actually gets a decent amount of development, but halfway through the drama, they practically disappear and only return briefly toward the end. Several important characters who assist the ML also feel like decorative pieces, appearing only when the story needs them. The doctor and the ML's loyal servant are basically the only people who consistently stay by his side. And yes, there is plenty of plot armor, so you just have to accept that, even if it doesn't make sense.
💠One thing I genuinely enjoyed was watching the two leads play the political game. Both are portrayed as highly intelligent, calculating, knowledgeable, cunning, and capable of thinking several steps ahead. Watching them manipulate situations and outsmart their opponents is entertaining and probably one of the strongest aspects of the drama.
💠Unfortunately, the FL is also extremely selfish. She is primarily concerned with achieving her own goals, while justifying everything by saying that she is fighting for her rights and trying to control her own destiny. The ML, on the other hand, is completely different. He is willing to sacrifice almost everything to protect his people and the people he loves.
💠The ML is intelligent and cunning as well. He operates behind the scenes and successfully eliminates the other princes who are competing with him. At this point, the FL is also consistent with the way she was initially portrayed: intelligent, decisive, ruthless, and highly calculating. She firmly rejects the princes whenever she realizes they have ulterior motives.
💠Unfortunately, the FL's personality becomes incredibly inconsistent later on. She is supposed to be clever, intelligent, decisive, cold-blooded, and almost emotionless, yet several episodes show the exact opposite.
💠For example, after the Fifth Prince discovers her habits and realizes something is suspicious about her, she continues doing the exact same things repeatedly. How is that supposed to be the behavior of someone who is supposedly extremely intelligent? She also repeatedly accepts invitations from the Fifth and Ninth Princes and continues falling into traps that should have been relatively easy for her to avoid.
💠Then there is her relationship with the ML, which is probably the most frustrating part of the entire drama.
The FL says she chooses the ML because he is the most neutral option and supposedly does not have much time left to live. Their relationship is supposed to be one of mutual respect, with no romantic feelings involved, just two people becoming political allies.
Fine.
💠Except that her behavior completely contradicts this premise.
When she is with her former husband, whose marriage to her was originally a forced political arrangement that she accepted to protect her family, she suddenly becomes incredibly vulnerable and emotional. This man is obsessively in love with her in a way that I found genuinely disgusting, yet she repeatedly agrees to meet him throughout the drama. She even reveals her true identity to him and cries over his departure.
Seriously? How does this fit the characterization of a woman who is supposed to be cold, ruthless, emotionless, and determined to control her own destiny?
Meanwhile, toward the ML, the man who sacrifices almost everything for her. She remains cold, distant, and incredibly stubborn.
💠After discovering who the ML really is and what he is capable of, she immediately wants to cancel their engagement. Eight episodes are spent dealing with this problem. EIGHT EPISODES! WHAT A JOKE.
💠The most ridiculous part is that the FL already knows she is developing feelings for him. She also knows about all the sacrifices he has made for her. Yet she continues prioritizing her ego and pride, hiding behind her supposedly noble dream of controlling her own destiny and refusing to repeat the tragedy of her past because of the conflict between their two families.
But somehow, when she is around her brother, father, friends, or especially her former husband, she can openly express her emotions.
💠So apparently, the only person she has difficulty showing feelings toward is the man who loves her the most.
Make it make sense.
The ML's sacrifices for her are enormous. At one point, he even neglects his own health and skips his treatment because he is trying to win her heart. And she basically treats it like nothing.
Even after they finally get married, she continues keeping her distance from him.
💠The main couple doesn't even kiss until Episode 27. THAT'S INSANE !!! And the FL only finally swallows her pride and admits that she likes the ML in Episode 28, after he saves her family. WHAT A NICE MOVE !!!
💠At this point, honestly, the FL doesn't deserve the ML. He loves her far more than she loves him, and I actually think he deserves someone who would genuinely cherish him in return. If this were a different type of story, I would have supported the ML finding another woman or even having a harem. Unfortunately, because the entire story revolves around the FL, that obviously isn't going to happen.
💠I almost dropped the drama at Episode 32 when the ML suddenly died from an arrow. The timing was ridiculous. The main conflict had basically been resolved, and then an arrow suddenly appears out of nowhere and kills him for saving FL.
💠At that point, I actually thought the drama had reached a perfectly acceptable ending. I was ready to consider it a happy ending, or at least a satisfying heroic ending for the ML. His love for the FL had already been established, he had sacrificed enough, and honestly, I thought he deserved to die peacefully after everything he had endured rather than continue suffering because of his illness.
💠I assumed the remaining episodes would simply show the FL achieving her ambition, rising to the highest position in the kingdom, and continuing her ridiculous and disgusting romance with her obsessive former husband. The FL promises that she will love the ML and never marry again, but at the same time, she continues giving her former husband hope and even cries over his departure.
💠AGAIN, this is apparently the same woman who is supposed to be cold-blooded, decisive, emotionless, and determined to control her own destiny. And let's NOT FORGET that her previous marriage was supposedly a forced political marriage.
The writer's logic is truly something else.
💠Then comes the ending.
The ML suddenly comes back to life and reunites with the FL, and there is practically no proper explanation for how this happened. The plot armor was hilarious. At this point, I could only laugh.
The ending also feels extremely rushed. The final four episodes could have been used to properly explain the ML's survival, resolve the remaining questions, and give the characters a more satisfying conclusion. Instead, the drama spends a ridiculous amount of time on the FL's DISGUSTING romance with her obsessive former husband.
💠And then, as if that wasn't enough, there is even an extra episode showing the main couple living happily with their child, apparently just to make absolutely sure the FL gets her perfect happy ending.
WOW JUST WOW !!!
Despite all my complaints, I can't deny that the drama is entertaining. The political scheming between the two leads is fun to watch, the cast performs well, the martial arts choreography is good, and the visuals are attractive. The ML is particularly easy to root for because of how much he sacrifices for everyone around him.
But the biggest problem is the FL's inconsistent characterization and the story surrounding her relationships. The drama repeatedly tells us that she is cold, intelligent, ruthless, and determined to control her own fate, while her actions frequently contradict all of those traits. The result is a protagonist who is supposed to be a brilliant mastermind but repeatedly behaves irrationally whenever the plot requires her to.
