Utter disappointment and senseless plot
I had good expectations when I started the drama. Till ep 5 also it was going decent. But honestly, there is no strong plot or connections. I couldn't relate or understand any single character. It is all scattered and storyline is a complete mess. I was finally happy that it was gonna end this week at ep 9, but first they postponed it and then extended it to 18 eps. Like utter disappointment. This drama doesn't need so many eps. Useless plot, no clear relationships, no good dialogues or bgm, it will be a time waste honestly. There is no base to this drama. Nothing is clearly showed in first 9 eps, everything vague and under the cover of mystery. It makes the drama boring and really tests the patience of audience.
There are better school-mystery dramas than this! I will rank it the lowest.
Anything is happening at HU, no clear hierarchy, so many gangs and leaders, many characters but none portrayed clearly. Some scenes really annoyed me. I started watching it because of the ML, and to see the chemistry between ML and FL, but I have seen none in 9 episodes. Nor do I want to see it now. I just wanted a clear ending and to know what useless plot was actually unfolding, but now I don't have that time or patience to stick to 9 eps more.
Can watch it for fun and time pass, but NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL.

Aesthetically most pleasing historical drama
As my headline suggest I really haven't seen more aesthetically pleasing historical cdrama than this. From the set design to camera angles to the actors n overall vibes everything really was so soothing n pleasing to eyes. Kudos to this director for thatđđ he even made me feel for the first time the good looks of ZLH, tbh i have seen him in other dramas n didn't get why people called him handsome, (his looks were jst average for me, i felt he was just very tall bt maybe his looks r not my type, lol) so in this drama he looked really good looking to even me. N that is also on this director to make everyone look heavenly beautiful.Ok coming to the story, i have read the novel, i liked the story n as this drama stayed very close n true to the novel i really actually liked the drama too, although I felt the starting episodes in linan town got dragged a lot, i almost started to pray for that arc to end soon becos i didn't want to give up on such eye pleasing drama. N I really liked the later arc of changyus growth after leaving linan town unlike the popular reviews here where they didn't like them. Yeah it wasn't logical at all for a girl to have so much strength n superpowers on battlefield all of a sudden but then u don't watch these idol dramas for logic, do u really? I liked in the ending episode the director tried to make one scene like the "Titanic" ending sceneđš where all the dead r back n waving bye to the FL n at the end she meets the ML, but it wasn't that impactful as unlike in titanic not everyone was dead n specially not the main leads. But it was still nice way of giving everyone a respectful goodbye.
Acting wise Like everyone else I was really impressed with the two Sui brothers acting the most, they portrayed the evil mad so well that u love to hate them as well as feel a bit bad for them at their end too. That white wig suited deng kais face so well that he didn't look as impressive in black wig in the alternate ending, lol. I also loved that Alternate ending in the end. I liked that they made the puppet emperor more foolish n bit comedic unlike the novel where the emperor was also evilish. Chemistry wise i didn't feel much chemistry between main leads but more in YQQ n SYH/QiMin, like I get that why their pair got blown overnight to get 2nd Collab rumors n CP magazine photoshoot. Oh not to forget i really loved the child actress who played changning, she was so cuteđ.
Overall a nice, eye pleasing n refreshing n satisfying experience this drama was. :)

Come for the crime, stay for the emotional damage.
Some dramas hit you with noise; this one hits you with consequence. The Worst of Evil doesnât waste time pretending the world is fair or that anyone gets out clean. Itâs the kind of story that tightens around you slowly, scene by scene, until you realize youâve stopped breathing because the tension is doing it for you. And yes, I had my moments of frustration â but none of them dulled the grip this drama had on me.From the start, the show radiates the same vibes as Infernal Affairs (HK drama) â the kind where danger isnât loud, itâs patient. And watching Jun mo operate undercover is one of the showâs quiet triumphs. Ji Chang Wook convincingly plays as a man balancing on a knifeâs edge, improvising because the mission demands it. Every move he makes is a calculation, every lie a survival tactic. As an undercover cop infiltrating one of the largest criminal gang, heâs constantly threading the needle between trust and exposure, and the emotional logic of his choices lands with weight. The tension comes from the sheer impossibility of the role heâs forced to play.
Jun-moâs wife Eui jeong however is a different story â while her involvement adds pressure at the edges, but she isnât the center of the storm. Her presence complicates the mission, yes, but the real narrative force is the shifting ground beneath everyoneâs feet â the betrayals, the alliances, the fragile promises that could collapse with a single misstep.
One of this dramaâs themes is about loyalty â how itâs earned, how itâs broken, and how dangerous it becomes when everyone has something to hide. Loyalty among thieves shouldnât exist, yet here it becomes the most volatile currency in the room. Trust is a gamble. Betrayal is a guarantee. And the show keeps circling the same question: Who do you trust when trust itself is a liability?
And then thereâs the moral architecture of the show â the part that lingers long after the violence fades. It doesnât hand you heroes and villains; it hands you people. Flawed, frightened, loyal, reckless people. The gangsters arenât caricatures; some of them are heartbreakingly human. Nowhere is that more compelling than in Jung Gi cheol. Heâs positioned as the âbad guy,â but the writing refuses to flatten him. His ambition, his longing for a normal life, his bond with Jun mo-as Seung ho â all of it makes him painfully human. Heâs dangerous, yes, but heâs also a man shaped by wounds and dreams he canât quite outrun. And Wi Ha Joon embodies this character perfectly.
Meanwhile, the police force isnât exactly a sanctuary. Hwang Min Gu â the bully cop who treats interference like a sport â is infuriating in the most narratively effective way. Every time he appears, he destabilizes the mission with reckless precision. Heâs the reminder that corruption isnât just criminal; itâs systemic, casual, and corrosive.
What struck me most was how the drama refuses to simplify the cost. Every choice has weight. Every betrayal has consequence. Every moment of loyalty feels like a gamble with someoneâs soul. Itâs gripping not because of the violence, but because of the emotional calculus behind it â the way the show keeps asking, quietly but relentlessly: How far would you go? And who do you become on the way there?
Despite the frustration, despite the questionable decisions, the drama holds you in its grip because it understands something fundamental: the most compelling stories arenât about good versus evil. Theyâre about people trying to survive the space in between. And by the time the credits roll, youâre left with the unsettling truth that in this world, survival isnât victory â itâs just the next burden to carry.

Much ado about nothing
This was such a waste of talent. The actors, amazing. The writing, TERRIBLE. We learn nothing about the ML and it feels like he's the Main character but his story is unfinished. His friend talks about how difficult it was for him to do his military time but we never see any of it. It's said many times how he's had a difficult life but we rarely see any of it. His love interest is selfish and that's her right but the writing makes it so there are no redeemable attributes to her, little to no growth in her from start to finish. I kept hoping something good would happen in the show but it never did. The best thing is the chemistry/little moments he has with the 2nd FL. She really understood him and helped him see life from a different POV.Save yourself the time and do not watch.

I see what they were going for, but fumbled so bad
This managed to make angry both people rooting for them to end up together and people rooting for them to finally move on at the same time. It's kinda remarkable if you think about it.
I don't know what Jinyoung has against lovely romatic comedies but I hope his next drama is a happy one.
It was shot very beautifully so that's a positive. And the kopiko ads out of the blue never fail to make me laugh, another positive.
Nothing more to say.

Good Cast, Poor Panel
This was my first season of Heart Signal. The cast was on the better side, with an interesting mix of quite likable personalities that made it easy to get more emotionally invested than I usually do. It doesnât hurt that this is one of the most physically attractive group of participants I've seen on any of these shows. All 4 women are simply breathtakingly beautiful, and the guys aren't far behind. The show also successfully maintains some suspense until the end on who people were going to select, having developed multiple reasonable matches for most of them. I do wish though that some of these women had realized a earlier that Hyun-woo was one big walking red flag. I was completely fed up with him by the end of the season. Everyone else grew on me, but this guy went the opposite direction.
But this show has one much bigger problem that seriously detracted from my enjoyment as a viewer: Way too much screentime is given to a terminally unfunny and uninteresting panel at the expense of the participants themselves. Among the things I found particularly galling was that in order to allow this gimmicky panel more time to show off their pop-psych idiocy, they deprive us of seeing the reaction of the participants to the texts they are asked to send anonymously each evening to the person they find most interesting. Watching those reactions is one of my favorite aspects of some of the subsequent reality shows like EXchange and My Siblingâs Romance. It was sorely missed here.

Episode 1â2 Review
This feels less like a typical BL drama and more like a sensory experience built around food.At first glance, it follows a familiar setupâMeekhun, a well-known food critic dealing with heartbreak and personal struggles, crosses paths again with Napthan, a chef who still carries resentment from being harshly criticized in the past.
But what truly stands out is the food.
Every dish is presented with an almost overwhelming level of detail and care. The plating, the colors, the carvingâitâs far beyond simple prop food. It feels intentional, almost like each dish is part of the storytelling itself.
The restaurant setting, focused on traditional Thai royal cuisine, adds a strong cultural and visual identity to the series. Itâs not just about cookingâitâs about pride, memory, and emotional expression.
Thereâs also an interesting dynamic between the characters.
Napthan wants to prove himself, while Meekhun carries his own emotional weight. Their relationship seems likely to develop through both conflict and understanding, with food acting as the bridge between them.
It reminds me of projects like Y Journey: Stay Like A Local, where storytelling and cultural presentation blend togetherâbut here, itâs more intimate and focused.
This is the kind of series where atmosphere matters as much as plot.
If you enjoy visually rich storytelling and food-centered narratives, this is definitely worth checking out.
A visually beautiful, food-driven BL that uses cuisine as a form of emotional storytelling.

When 8 Episodes Feel Like an Eternity
I expected more from this drama. Despite being only 8 episodes long, it felt dragged out. The first 3 episodes were disappointing: the storytelling was too tedious, lacking tension, momentum, and overall atmosphere. From episode 4, things start to move at least a little, but the ending still feels underdeveloped. In the end, the story turns out messy and at times illogical, which made it a boring watch. The premise was interesting ŃŃв the cast was quite solid, but the execution fell short. So what went wrong? The strangest character for me was the prosecutor. Her smug, almost unpleasant smirks donât match the image of a principled fighter for justice, and at times she looks more frightening than the supposed antagonist.
Ryeo Un did a decent job and clearly tried, but he didnât quite pull off a truly chilling portrayal of a psychopathâthough perhaps that wasnât the goal. However, you get the feeling that even the director didn't fully understand what the final result was supposed to be.

We Love To Fight;Bloodbath is a must
The show was on the fundamental move of giving and intense fight scenes; it was delivered properly. The layers & depth of the characters is not much to talk about, much isn't given but the mutual trust they had in one another makes it more enjoyable, than suffocated, the bromance of our leads in S2 went into a tight era, shaping the intricacy of having a close friend you can lean towards in times of tears, anger, and sadness.
The graphic violence was existent & nauseating, giving you a flinch at every deadly blow (for some, not me).
The relationship with their mother was an important ride, as it was a nicely cooked delivery on my emotions.
Rain delivered a wacky, cruel, money-obsessed villain, impeccably.

FIGHT CHOREOGRAPHY OUTSTANDING!!
Bloodhounds 2 comes out swinging from the very first minute and never lets up. This season is highâoctane, viciously brutal, unexpectedly funny, and anchored by some of the best fight choreography Iâve seen in a Kâdrama EVER. If this show is nothing else, it is a masterclass in action design. And yes â Rain as a villain is everything. Woo Doâhwan deserves a shoutout too; the way he plays naive, emotional, and earnest is genuinely great acting.
As the story escalates, the stakes rise and the villains grow more vicious, leaving Gun Woo constantly fighting uphill while the police remain frustratingly useless. But the real crown jewel of this season is the fight choreography â a genuine masterclass. Episode 5 delivers a standout duel, and Episode 6 raises the bar even higher with the phenomenal Baek Jeong vs. Tae Geom fight. The emotional beats land too, especially Woo Jinâs heartbreaking moment with Gun Wooâs mom. By the finale, the showdown between Baek Jeong and Gun Woo is everything it needed to be, with Jin Woo joining the fray for good measure.
The season wraps up satisfyingly, but the midâcredit and postâcredit scenes leave just enough intrigue to spark speculation. If youâre here for the fights, the tension, and the emotional punches â this season delivers. If you're here for a great plot this isnât the strongest, but the execution, performances, and action more than make up for it.
4/4/26

Watchable
I was really surprised, but I ended up enjoying this series. Sure, the editing isnât always great and the plot doesnât always make sense, but itâs oddly enjoyable to watch and easy to binge. You shouldnât expect anything amazing, but itâs perfect if you just want something to pass the time. Was this review helpful to you?
The cutest actress ever
Things I adored1 The FL: She is gorgeous and a great actress. She plays cute and dynamic and romantic well. I've known her from I may Love you drama I loved and she was one of my favorites there. I can't understand how is it possible that she hasn't landed several main roles. She is a great actress.
2The outfits. Best outfits ever. I'm sure there are other series that have actresses who are dressed well, but I loved all the outfits the FL wore here. Each one of them. She ahs a great silhouette but she wore them with such grace. They were cute ad modern and so so elegant.
Things I loved
1 The kisses. Although it felt juvenile most of the time and the story wasn't anything special some of the kisses were sweet and romantic but also better than many I've seen in much better series. From what I saw in the Behind the scenes feature, they had fun filming the main leads and maybe that's the reason the kisses are that good. Kudos to them.
2 The assistant. He was a good actor and I enjoyed his interactions with the ML.
Things I liked
1 The FL character. I separate this from the actress because I thought the character was great when it started but it went downhill after a few episodes. She lost her verve and dynamism and the series lost a bit of its charm. When she became a couple with the ML things weren't as interesting anymore. If it weren't for her I would have given up.
2 The ML character. I didn't love him but I liked that he was aware of being weird and the actor did a good job with his character. It could go south but he managed to make him sympathetic. I didn't like some of the things he said or did but all in all nothing major and he was more sweet and quirky than anything else.
Things I disliked
1 The 2FL. I didn't care much about her and I admit I disliked the relationship and the whole fatty thing.
2 The 3FL. I thought she wasn't anything special and just took time from the main couple. Her plot was terrible as well.
3 The plot. Actually, there was no plot. It's the first time I say that but the premise was flimsy at best. If not for the FL I would never finish it because there was nothing to expect or to capture your attention.
4 The artist and idol of the FL. The actor wasn't great and the character not essential to the series to be honest.
Things I hated
1 For some reason I felt like this drama used the word GOD a lot. I didn't expect that and it bothered me. I haven't noticed such thing in other dramas so I wonder what was with that?
2 The 3ML. The actor was awful and the worst is that he looked so young it felt creepy to listen to him speak as an adult and especially seeing him kiss the 3FL. I don't know I hated the whole plot.

It was funny and entertaining.
"This is one of the funniest series I've ever watched, and will ever watch. They did a great job of making it all together so that each character wouldn't have their own separate series and nobody would be waiting for one. Santa and Mark were especially fantastic; their energy and timing really carried the show to another level. The chemistry between the entire cast is what makes this series so special and rewatchable. Every episode feels fresh, and the humor is so well-written that I found myself laughing out loud constantly. I highly recommend it to anyone who needs a good laugh and a heartwarming story. It is truly a masterpiece of its genre and I enjoyed every second of the 24 episodesWas this review helpful to you?
Not bad
Things I loved1 The female lead. She wasn't the prettiest or the best actress ever abut she did a good job and I loved how her character was different than most.
2 The male lead she stayed with. he was handsome, funny, a good friend, and I even liked his relationship with the receptionist. They were cute and although sometimes they were frustrating, I loved them both.
3 The receptionist and friend of the FL. She was beautiful, interesting and I loved her relationship with one of the 2MLeads.
3 I loved the relationship between the ML and one of the 2MLeads. It felt real and it was also fun to watch the rivalry between the brother and the ML. The friendship between the three was fun.
Things I liked
1 The company context. I loved that they didn't make it too much dark between the two companies and the CEOs.
2 I liked the approach the FL took regarding her career. It was refreshing. That said, I was happy things changed in the end a bit.
3 The ML. I'm not sure where to put him. I see he ahs quite a few shows but in my opinion he wasn0t the best in this drama. He wasn't bad per se, and I loved some interactions with the FL, but I can't say I was taken by his performance. He was wooden sometimes and it bothered me. Other times he was sweet and looked handsome and loved him. I liked his character as well.
4 The 2ML. I saw him for the first time in Moonlight and adored his character. Here it wasn't the same love but he still managed to play his role well and his behavior was amusing more times than not. I think the actor is talented it's just that the role here wasn't as engaging as the one in Moonlight. All in all it was an interesting drama and the dimples were mentioned quite a bit related to this actor. I don't see why the title would refer to it since he wasn't the main character but I guess someone thought it was smart to make people wonder what the dimples have to do with anything.
Things I hated
1 The ex of the ML. What a witch. I can't believe the lengths she went to to annoy the FL and get back with the ML. It was frustrating and tested my limits a few times, but it was also fun to watch waiting for her to pay.
