All the water works! - just not mine
I honestly cannot recommend this lakorn at all. It is pretty cliche and nothing we haven’t seen before. Mean ML who never really redeems himself and super weak FL. I usually don’t mind kind of cliche, mind numbing lakorns - they’re nice to watch in the background while doing something else. But this one… I skipped way more than I usually do. The ML was just kind of stupid and didn’t really give off mean, dangerous guy vibes but seemed to be good but also confused but also wanted revenge but also not really… HOWEVER, my biggest gripe was with the FL. I have never seen this much crying by a FL before. She didn’t go more than 3 minutes of screen time without tearing up again. I felt bad for the actress cause she must have been dehydrated as hell by the end of the shoot of this lakorn. It was super super aggravating. I like slap/kiss but there weren’t even any real kisses where you could see lips touching. It was just the ML being rapey and the FL crying. I guess the slap in slap/kiss was correct cause I wanted to slap just about everyone on screen at some point.Don’t recommend!

In conclusione:

Slow burn --- almost not worth it
I personally had a difficult time getting through episode one. I was kinda bored with episodes two through four as it is basically a long flashback. Episode five is where it really picked up for me. I enjoyed the prospect of exploring the idea of loving someone's soul, no matter the body it's in. Overall, the show is worth a watch.I watched the uncut version, but in my opinion it wasn't very NC. There was two or so actual sexual scenes. One seemed awkward with the blankets moving and the other was kinda short as it panned offscreen for the sneeze. It really focuses more on the relationship between the two leads rather their sexual relationship.

First impression
You can watch it on iQIYI: https://www.iq.com/album/your-third-2026-2aoejlaowv9?lang=en_usSo far i'm not the biggest fan of this series, it is alright, but I really expected something more. It is just another comedy series, and I genuinely find it upsetting that they once again give MaxNat a series that is just alright. With a lot of comedic sounds that only make it worse and humor that is not actually funny, unfortunately.
Episode 1:
* I like that we got PeterFluke as an established couple.
* Another comedy series for MaxNat. I feel sort of disappointed, I really think they deserve a serious and more mature series.
* The mustache has got to go...
* The actor playing Taibao's father is really bad at acting; it feels like he is just reading stuff off the screen with the script.
Episode 2:
* I'm not sure about what is happening in this episode. They fight one second and then immediately become besties a few seconds later. Everything is a bit too confusing this episode.

Had to take half a point off.. but hear me out..
I truly enjoyed this show overall.. He Yu was the star of this show.. his character was so endearing and hilarious.. about not giving it a perfect 10.. was because of the writers. If you are going to introduce all these characters.. at least give them proper closure.. don't just end their story abruptly and lazily.. some people just got killed off and some villains weren't punished.. just disappeared off the story.. I also had the same feeling about the ending.. felt like they couldve added another episode to make the transition smoother not just remove things and throw something else at me at the very last minute.. As for the show in general I did enjoy it and I was excited for the next episode every time.. the seriousness of palace schemes was eased with He Yu's shameless antics that cracked me up throughout the show.. The story had so many twists and turns I kept thinking I knew who the villain was and then bam plot twist.. I also liked how eventhough there were so much tension between all the princes.. they all still genuinely cared for eachother and did not intentionally harm one another as in physically if you catch my drift.. As for Meng Ziyi.. I've gotten used to her being this type of cold, stern character every time and honestly l dont see her any other way.. I would rewatch this show and I would recommend it as well.. To those who haven't watched it.. give it a try 💜Cet avis était-il utile?

Continuation of the story
I wouldn't call this a spin-off, it's just a continuation of their story with a little side note from the activities of their friend. It's sweet so it's still nice to watch.
Good visuals and music.
The mains have good chemistry.
If i re-watch the drama i will re-watch this extra episode too.

Sweet!
This was a sweet drama and i really enjoyed watching it. This slow burn story was simple and sweet. The visuals were great and the music good. The production did a good job.
All the actors did a great job. The mains had good chemistry and the kisses were good enough.
I might re-watch this one in the future.

Killers with a sense of justice
This was a great crime series, the story was very good and very well produced. A story about using the thing your good at to get rid of the worst criminals. The visuals were good and the music wasn't my taste, but it was good for the series.
The actors did a great job, every actor played his role very convincing.
Though this was a great series, it's not the kind that i will re-watch, but i do recommend watching!

I honestly don't know why it's called Love Alert—there wasn't much of an "alert" for me.
Unfortunately, this series felt like another formulaic BL that followed many familiar tropes without offering anything particularly fresh or memorable. While the cast is undeniably good-looking and has on-screen appeal, I felt the performances lacked the emotional depth needed to make the story truly engaging. With more acting experience and training, I believe they have the potential to deliver much stronger performances in future projects. The biggest issue wasn't just the acting, though. The story itself relied heavily on clichés, making it predictable and difficult to stay invested. It never quite found its own identity or gave viewers a reason to remember it once it ended.
I hope the production team takes this as a learning experience. There's definitely potential here—with a stronger script, better character development, and continued growth from the cast, future projects could be much more impactful.
Overall, Love Alert isn't a terrible watch, but it's also not a series I'd find myself recommending unless you're simply looking for a light, straightforward BL with familiar tropes.

Almost…
This drama was pretty good initially, and due to the choppy way the episodes wete presented, there was very little fulfillment in the story line.It was refreshing to see EY in a role where she was able to showcase her acting abilities instead of being cast as too cutesy and a bit brainless female. She is much better than thise tropes and needs more roles like this. I thought this was s great role for her.
The stories within each episode felt like you were in a time warp for most of them. You saw the beginning, the middle and sometimes the end without any development on how the ending came about.
One small thing for me was the
excessive amount of times the FL’s face ended an episode for several seconds. EU is a beautiful girl, but it was just odd how many and how long the fade to the next episode took.
The kids were great. Getting them away from believing that they were worthless and incapable of big things was the focus of the drama, as it was the same with the adults - which was more their own self talk limiting them. Some had trauma, some abuse, some were patental issues. it just proved the point that despite wealth or social status, everyone has problems everyone faces difficulties and hardships. And, rather than accepting that judgement, you also have a choice to prove them wrong as long as you find the right motivation and support. And, as someone can be those things for you, you, in turn, can be those things for
I just wish that the production company would have spent more time fling the story gaps, giving the ML more screen time (I think he is an excellent actor) and strengthening the story line.
Overall I gave it a 7.5 because despite the oddities I mentioned, I did enjoy the drama.

I’ve got mixed emotions about this drama
First off I have to admit the only reason I started watching Damo was Lee Seo Jin. However I’m glad I did because the cast was amazing. It took me awhile to figure who the traitors were. Then I still found myself rooting for Sung Bok.
I spent most of the drama wanting the Damo and Sung Bok to realize they were siblings.
Then I spent the rest of the drama wanting the Damo and the Prosecutor to finally get together.
I know, call me a hopeless romantic.
However the ending left me broken hearted for all three of them.
I don’t think I could watch it again.
