These two can do it all!

We are officially three episodes in, and I am absolutely hooked!

The humor alone is enough to leave your sides aching from laughter, and I am still amazed that Boss manages to keep a straight face through some of these scenes. His comedic timing is fantastic, and the cast as a whole delivers every joke with perfect energy.

As a longtime BossNoeul fan from their Love in the Air and The Boy Next World days, seeing them step into this new dynamic has been a breath of fresh air. More than anything, it proves that their chemistry extends far beyond the types of roles and scripts we have seen them tackle before. Crazy Love MooMoo fully embraces the romantic-comedy genre, complete with cheesy pick-up lines, hilarious misunderstandings, and the constant push and pull between denial and realization as MooMoo (Noeul) slowly comes to terms with his feelings for Fu (Boss).

What makes the series especially enjoyable is how naturally these characters seem to fit them. Boss shines as the devoted, flirtatious “should-be boyfriend” whose attention never strays from MooMoo, no matter how hard everyone else tries to win him over. Meanwhile, Noeul perfectly captures MooMoo’s confusion, stubbornness, and growing awareness of what is right in front of him.

The comedy is strong, but after the emotional journey that was The Boy Next World, a lighthearted romantic comedy feels exactly like what many of us were hoping to see from them next. Three episodes in, Crazy Love MooMoo has delivered plenty of laughs, endless charm, and a refreshing new side of a pairing that continues to prove why they remain so popular.

Amazing suspense

This is such an intriguing and suspensful series. The music makes it so intense. I had to take some breaks and also because of the intense fast pace stressful episodes, I sometimes put the mute on. It is a great series if you want fast pace, spy series.
Well worth watching. No romance, no humour, just great acting with these characters.

Good actors but unfunny dumb characters

I understand that a lot of people really enjoyed this series. It’s clear since it correctly holds an 8.5 here on MDL. But I didn’t like it at all. At the core of the problem is the fact that the main characters are extremely annoying from start to finish. They really are fools. If the story had high schoolers as the main characters, everyone would be more mature and smart. It’s a big waste of talent, since the cast is made up of good actors.
The plot looked interesting and would be a good fit with less over-the-top, unfunny silliness. From the protagonist to the side characters and the villain, all the characters annoyed me. The forced romance with no chemistry at all managed to make it even less interesting by the end.

THE SUPER-MISFIT LINEUP

Instead of stoic saviors, the show features deeply flawed, socially outcast townies in the fictional Haeseong City who accidentally gain powers from toxic lab runoff during a botched fake-kidnapping scheme. The show works well because the characters' powers initially feel useless and un-heroic. Eun Chae-ni is the town's biggest 'trainwreck', a hot-tempered 27-year-old with a terminal heart condition. After dying and waking up in a trash dump, she gains teleportation and a 'superheart'. Park Eun-bin brings her signature vibrant energy, balancing Chae-ni's irreverent humor with the weight of carrying someone else's literal heart. Lee Un-jeong is a rigidly rule-abiding deadpan civil servant who secretly possesses powerful telekinesis. He wants nothing to do with the chaos, using his powers to hide from his traumatic past. Cha Eun-woo delivers a great subversion of his usual 'flower boy' roles, playing a socially awkward lone wolf. Son Gyeong-hun is the town's chief complainer whose superpower is hilariously karmic. Whenever he lies, his hands secrete a super-adhesive that fuses to whatever he touches until he tells the truth. Kang Ro-bin is a gentle giant and massive pushover who rounds out the chaotic trio.

The show shines brightest when it lets its characters be absolute buffoons. The dynamic of people screaming in terror, running like headless chickens, and accidentally triggering their powers is brilliant comedy. The late '90s provide an atmospheric win. Chunky flip phones, frosted tips, and a soundtrack packed with cassette-era K-pop hits instantly transport you back in time. The looming dread of the millennium bug, combined with the rise of a creepy doomsday cult, the 'Church of Eternal Salvation', creates a distinct, nostalgic backdrop that grounds the bizarre events. At its core, the drama focuses on humanism, exploring how these broken people find family and purpose through their shared trauma.

However, while the comedic chemistry is top-tier, The WONDERfools does suffer from some rapid tonal shifts around the midway point. The villain, a mad scientist named Won-da, brings a very dark, gritty storyline involving biological experimentation on orphans. When the show tries to frame these goofy, accidental heroes in slow-motion, gritty action sequences, treating them like the next Avengers, the internal logic gets a bit wonky. It fluctuates between a laugh-out-loud Dirk Gently-style comedy and a dark sci-fi thriller, which might give some viewers whiplash.

In conclusion, despite some pacing and tonal stumbles in the final acts, The WONDERfools is an incredibly fun binge-watch. It succeeds because it cares more about the characters' emotional growth than their superhero capabilities. Come for the chaotic superpowers and the Park Eun-bin and Cha Eun-woo pairing, stay for the heartwarming, turn-of-the-century townies camaraderie. I'M HOPING FOR A SEASON TWO!!

A must watch masterpiece who heal something inside you.

Have you ever shared your hardest time with someone? This question stuck with me, I never did. The story is so good that you can relate to all the emotions portrayed by the actor at some point. Anger, regret, sadness, jealousy, envy and love, You just felt it in your heart. I cried with them, I laugh with them, I get to know how love feels like, the green light I too want in my life, the actors did an amazing job for me to feel the rollercoaster of life and give me comfort that I am not the only one who feels like this. Thank you to the writer for writing such a beautiful story and all the actors who are just perfect for their role, I thoroughly enjoyed it and loved it.

The Mask of Civilization: A Universal Tragedy

It is a fantastic series. Greetings from Turkey to all the brave people of Korea! I share Korea's pain. It is tragic to see a similar version of the West's story of colonizing peoples under the guise of civilization taking place at the other end of the world. In the world we live in today, we are still experiencing this story in other geographies

Didn't like it at first but kinda grew on me

DMD Friendship is my 1st reality show. I usually do not watch these kinda shows but then i saw a lot of fan references for the khemjira couples so i kinda had to check it out to get the reference.

At first I didn't like it much it felt like i was in a lecture with all the terminologies and stuff being explained during the tasks. The lack of background music and awkward silence also bored me so i kinda put it on hold. Now that there are not many series airing i watched this one. Ngl it got better🤭. I do feel the show is partially scripted but that's fine.

Out of all 9 contestants Latte and FirstOne kinda stole my heart. Coming to the groups and solos:
- KengNamping - you could literally see Namping was down bad since day 1. Keng on the other hand did care about Namping but i felt he was kinda worried about everyone. Trying not to hurt people like when he took Teetee for the date. Later he does make a comeback. Their relationship had all these ups and downs with a happy ending. I was just surprised to see keng flirting by the end of the series especially when he said "You like beaches so I like beaches. I'll like anything u like" (SIRRRRRR WHATTTT😳)

- ThomasKong - I was not a huge fan of them when i watched your sky but now i totally get the hype🤭. Both were 100% sure since day 1. I really liked Thomas flirting and being jealous that was just cute.

- TleFirstOneLatte - I really felt FirstOne was the most sensible and sensitive person among the 9 contestants since day 1. Although other contestants were "rushing" to get a partner he was more on the worried side. He didn't wanna be rash and was pretty logical with his decision. Eventhough he didn't have a partner in head he was the star of the show unlike other contestants who were like him but failed it do it. During LatteFirstOne's 1st date i already felt this was not gonna work out cz although Latte was open FirstOne didn't or couldn't open up to him. I felt Latte was very anxious the whole season which kinda came out as desperate which also lead to FirstOne not being sure about him but when it came to Tle he instantly was able to open up but cz he didn't spend much time he wasn't sure and i think he did a good thing by not choosing both and also how he wrote the same letter to both of them giving them an equal chance. Also I'm not sure if others noticed but whenever TleFirstOneLatte are together Tle always makes sure he's between FirstOne and Latte🤭. I saw this in multiple places also he is a pretty straightforward and confident person and it was clear when he asks FirstOne to have a chat with him infront of Latte. I totally get why FirstOne chose Tle cz unlike latte who worked on himself after the rejection, Tle continued to help FirstOne with his finale performance and kept encouraging and getting to know him better like the letter told. That's probably the reason FirstOne voted for Tle in the finale unlike his usual choice Namping❤️. I absolutely love TleFirstOne

- Gems - i really felt bad for him. He was just too introverted, insecure and anxious. For some reason he just didn't look at himself in a positive way the whole show. His negative thinking towards himself is kinda what held him back when it came to tasks n partner cz it was visible. The only thing i didn't understand about him was why did he choose Tle when he knew Tle wouldn't choose him and told him the same.

- TeeTee - Until i watched Duang with u he didn't really make a huge impact on me. He was just a extrovert kid stuck with introverts 🤭. Everyone pretty much babied him cz he was the youngest (except thomas bro suspected he liked kong and instantly went to him n was like "I'll choose kong"😆). He did certainly 3rd wheel in the 2 final couples tho. He was the only contestant who despite not being chosen or having someone to choose didn't give out sad vibes. He was chill and enjoyed the whole show

One thing that was unique about this show was the critiques from the judges. I felt all of them made sense unlike other shows where they only bs also the reason i don't watch such shows. I felt all feedbacks given to the contestants were appropriate and right. Overall it was good but for a 1 time watch🤭🥺

VERY GOOD!!!!

100000000000/10
When I started the first episode of this drama, it didn't grab me much, so I didn't continue. A few days passed and today, since I had nothing to watch, I decided to give it another chance and started episode 2. Everything gets better from this episode on. The drama is incredible; all the episodes are great and I loved the main character. He's called "crazy," he's kind of a psychopath and really likes to kill, but he never kills those who don't deserve to die. I loved it and highly recommend it! 💘🏆

Extra: the drama is also cute because it has a child character and "crazy," along with other characters, does everything for her. 🫶

small review

this kdrama was so well written, I feel like I could understand every character and their decisions.Personally hwang-dong-man was THE ONE character who struck with me the most, to see him finally achieve his dream even after being criticized that much by his friends who only saw him as a guy denigrating other people’s film when he didn’t even debut, instead of asking him why he was acting this way.Or him having the constant pression of wondering if his brother was alright because of his multiple attempts, anyway I’m really bad at reviewing but I felt like I needed to write something about this kdrama that was litteraly my comfort show from the moment it started to the moment it ended🤍.

Pure chaos and comedy in a superhero flick

I came in with no expectations and was absolutely blown out of the water! One of the most chaotic, unserious, and comedic Kdramas I've watched. The found family trope is done so well, each character has rich backstories and their mischief when together is hilarious.

This is definitely Eun Woo's best work. He really brings to life the traumatized, introverted office worker who reluctantly has to help this insane group he found himself entangled in and gradually come out of his shell. I love seeing him out of the typecast of playing only the "cold, handsome" male leads. His little smiles when he's amused by their shenanigans make me swoon.

Chae Ni is such a bubbly, vivacious character. She is unapologetically herself. She is the glue that holds their little found family together. I also love the dynamic of the introverted, calm ML x loud, chaotic FL. One of the greatest examples of correctly incorporating romance when it is not the main focus.

Such a refreshing drama in a year where I personally have found Kdramas to be lackluster. This is the superhero origin story that teaches family is not blood, but heart and the occasional coffee jelly.

Personagens reais e imperfeitos

Park Haeyoung never misses!

“If only the weather could change, if only there were a machine that could create any type of weather, I wonder what kind of weather I’d create right now.” – Hwang Dong Man

I finished this show with tears running down my cheeks and the killing curiosity of wanting to pinpoint what exact emotion am I feeling right now. This exact emotion I felt with the other two shows made by Park Haeyoung. My Mister, My Liberation Notes. It’s crazy, not once has a show of hers failed to make me feel this exact type of emotion.

Where I know I’ll be stuck reminiscing on this show even as time passes. Where it feels like I’m parting ways with a family I just got close to, and it makes me feel sick. I want to cry but celebrate that I got to watch a show this brilliant. The type of show that opens up emotions inside of me which I usually hardly ever acknowledge or pour out on when watching something.

Its weird, I usually always say I’m an emotional person who cries at the smallest things, and while thats true, *because* I cry at everything, nothing stays with me long term. But here? I cried and could tell you which scene it was that made me shed a tear or clutch my chest because my heart feels like its going through the same exact thing as the character on screen.

This entire show was based on emotions, and it perfectly encapsulated humanity. Humor, sadness, depression, regret. Each word albeit similar, harbours its own meaning.

This show left me wanting to know and be more present with my emotions. That when I feel jealousy or betrayal, or happiness when someone fails, but anger when things don’t go my way— it’s all human. It’s a human ‘being’. We are all just being.

I’m sure after a couple of weeks pass I’ll forget about all of these feelings I have. But I know I’ll find myself thinking about certain quotes or scenes when I’m by myself, sitting somewhere. Or if I encounter a person exactly like Hwang Dongman. Because I find myself wondering if there is such a person like he. Someone who will make you feel okay for being absurd, but doesn’t just comfort you with words but with actions. We should all learn to be a bit like him. Maybe not all, but a little. Life could be a bit more bearable then.

Amazing show. 10/10.

Masterpiece of a Short Drama.

After invading General kills her family and takes over her town, he rapes her and promises her three years of revenge before she returns to marry him. She leaves and kills those who killed her family only to be taken advantage of by the corrupt politicians in her home. A brilliant teamwork of actors, writers, and directors this show is mindblowing and true masterpiece of chinese period dramas.
The FL does a phenomenal job in invoking raw brute/strength while also maintaining the fragility of a woman in a men's system/world. How on earth she managed those fight scenes remains the biggest magical part of the show.
