What's the one thing that every person fears the most? Death. And when that fear is taken away from you, for whatever extreme reasons, what do you do? You let yourself loose. You say and do things that you might have never done before. And that's exactly what happens with Ha Won.
Honestly though, Radiant Office is not solely focused on the decisions that you make when you know you're going to die soon. In it's core, this drama is more of a corporate politics drama. But even that's not all it's limited to. It's a drama about friendship, about making it on your own, about telling yourself not to give up even when you've lost all hope, it's about second chances, and a lot other significant issues that people face in their life. However, instead of delving deeper into the emotional and not-so-emotional aspects of the drama, I'd just like to just point out the reasons why I enjoyed this show. So, here goes-

-First and foremost, it's because of the male lead. After watching the first two episodes, I was afraid the male lead was going to be a typical jerk one. Turns out, I couldn't have been more wrong. Yes, he starts out as a jerk, but he changes so much. He actually turned out to be a really kind and caring person.
-Ha Won's character is very relatable. A job is not something that's handed to us as soon as we graduate, we have to work for it. But what if it doesn't matter how many times you try, you can't seem to reach your goal? Ha Won can't get a job even after trying 100 times. Her thoughts, her actions, her decisions- everything is portrayed so realistically, that it'll appeal to the audience.
-I loved the trio. They didn't exactly meet in the most preferable situation, but their friendship was one of the best things about the drama. The way they stuck with each other, it was so heartwarming. Even in the situations where they had to compete with each other, they never let it get in the way of their friendship.
-The lead couple was very cute. They went from hate to respect to tentative friendship to finally, something more. I loved it every-time they would have these little moments. One of my most memorable one is where he gives her the secret thumbs-up. It was beyond cute!
-The second couple- Ji Na and Ki Taek, had their charms too. Ji Na, for one, was a character that evolved the most, in the drama. Their relationship grew so much throughout the series.
-Chief Park's innermost thoughts were one of the most hilarious moments of the drama. It sounds so random, but I don't know, I found it really funny.

The could've-been-better(s):
-I wish the romance was a bit more pronounced. I understand that this is not primarily a romance drama, but well, the heart wants what it wants, right?
-I feel like Kang Ho's contribution towards the story wasn't as much as the other characters. To me, it felt like, his character wasn't as fleshed out.
-The last episode seemed a bit rushed. While the major issues were resolved, a lot of other things weren't.

So, that's it for the review. I hope you give this drama a chance.
Happy Watching!

I will be short with the review :

First of this drama is very good even with few flaws. We shoud have a low bar when viewing an Taiwanese drama unlike Kdrama.

What i like about this drama is mainly its short number of episodes being 21 unlike 35+ episodes of useless dragging in T dramas. This show is all about mystery about the Main lead's father and the relationship b/n his mother along with some romance b/n 2 couples.

After watching this drama you will get answered abt the estranged rlxn between mother and son, mystery about his father. What we want is how they answered this qstns? also is there a happy ending?

Yes, the the questions are answered to its satisfactory in a good way. The time travel concept in this drama is less logical and more magical. But it was shown in a good way as the time travel isn't the main theme here but the mystery and reconccilation. The cultural differeces b/n two time periods are shown in a good way. Also there are few flaws with the time travel concept which can be neglected. And the Romance b/n main couple can be a little weird in last two episodes. Also they (in drama) seem to be thinking that only robbery can occur to women for few episodes. I mean its a Woman, how hard can it be to guess what happened when you look at her ??

Anyway this drama is very good for a taiwanese drama worth of 8.5 / 10.

Story
good story with all emotions...since it is melodrama it lacks comedy though...
so you have to bear 21 episodes with a strong heart...
but overall the story is good and worth watching....

Cast
honestly i love the child actors most...they were cute yet they showed all the emotions..
but all the actors did a great job to make those emotions while portraying different relationships...

Music
it had good music and there was one song which sums up the whole story.

Rewatch value
since i don't reawatch i'm not the person to talk about that..but i feel it will make u tired since its a pure melodrama.

Overall
apart from the basic story i really appreciate how they portayed the story with no meaningless moments..they skipped situations which is not that required for the story ..so it made the drama shorter...

And i love the way that they showed how the lead pair was looked at everything in a optimistic way after taking away all the bad memories from the audience,,,

MISSING YOU is good melodrama..

I guess this drama is not that bad... I LIKE it actually!
It was kind of weird to see the new Bai Cao on this sequel... was wishing that the "previous" Bai Cao still starring the drama... but after 4 or 5 episodes I eventually forgot and getting used to the new Bai Cao...

Overall the story are nice and sweet... I like how they pursue Taekwondo besides the romance story...
The only minus is the movie likes to rewind and rewind all the past stories and memories which kind of wasting time I guess...
But still I like the sweetness there...

Regarding the incomplete ending, the unfinished clues and Luo Bai matters, I guess the writer of this drama must be really want to make a quite long sequel :) but I don't mind... I will be waiting for the 3rd sequel :D
The only thing I'm curious is how they will end Bai Cao's romance eventually... ^.^

I don't know if 24 eps is too long or too short for this drama, the first few episodes were a bit draggy to me, I started to enjoy the drama once I watch episode 6 and up. The plot itself isn't bad but executed poorly. This drama has its cute moments but that's it, it's not much. As much as I love Xiaotong in this drama, many people would find Lin Xia to be annoying and really bratty, at some points I really couldn't stand her behavior and I felt bad for the male lead, and her brother sorta fade to the background as I didn't really notice his presence, he's supposed to be one of the comedic reliefs but meh, the ending left a bad taste as I find it to be really lack luster and disappointing. :/ I don't think we'll have season 2, sucks because I'd love to see more of this couple. I wouldn't say i recommend this drama, just watch it if you really don't have anything better to do

It's a really sweet drama, but ignore the last episode.
The story is sweet a little bit cliche with a few minor plotholes. It suprisingly has some deeper layers in there. Sometimes the characters acted really random and there should have been a better build up, but nothing you can't look pass.
The acting was decent; Myungsoo will definitely make you fall for him and you can see he has improved.
The songs and music were good, not in your face but really fitting to the setting of the drama.
Though the last episode, which should have been an epiloge or something, totally ruined it for me. It didn't make any sense and left me confused and frustrated. So a decent cute drama except for the last episode.

This series starts off strongly, packed with lots of drama - we have cheating, work problems, teenage kid rebellion and murder in the opening episode! The drama is 20 episodes so you'd expet a slow burn and yet things appear to happen at break-neck speed. Plot points are teased, brought out in the open and resolved within an episode or two and it builds up to a huge mystery that leaves the ending of the series as unsatisfying, especially as many questions remain.
It is still a good series if you like twists and turns. It isn't a very romantic series - it focuses more on psychological issues and the family unit rather than highlighting particular relationships, though some do exist. Still it isn't a series for folks who love a good ship, even though the tension is there between Shim Jae Bok and Kang Bong Goo.
The acting is fantastic though - especially the child actors. Che-Ri in particular stole every scene she was in!
I wasn't sure I was going to like this when I first started and I'm quite new to k-drama, but I was hooked and found myself really looking forward to this each week just to see what crazy things happened!

It does leave too many questions though, so perhaps it could do a 2nd season?

An unexpectedly charming film about the huge potential of seemingly small life choices, and really funny to boot! I found myself laughing out loud so much throughout this SP. It takes on a decidedly comedic tone but not without whimsical little touches on friendship and fate which complete its charm. The alternate universe "what if?" story has been rehashed since the beginning of time but I've never seen it set in the supposed "real life" realm and fictionalising an actor's real history/personality. I loved this premise from the get-go and it didn't disappoint with its delivery.

The main three all have their own respective character flaws and complexes which make them all interesting and comical and engaging individual characters in their own ways. Performance-wise, these veteran actresses are fantastic and clearly very talented and household names for a reason, Takeuchi Yuko in particular *shining* during the bar scene (you'll know which when you get to it!).

The music is interesting in that it feels like just the one band in a small stage show creating all the musical sequences throughout. It works in its simplicity though - the classy jazz numbers, to the piano solos to that brilliant drum solo during the climax (that got me on the edge of my *seat*) - they feel very organic and doesn't bring the film out too far into the realm of melodrama.

The only unfortunate part is the very last closing scene. It's not particularly bad, it was just a little lacking in execution because of a rather weird creative decision on the writer's/director's part. Rewatch value is high though because I'm about to watch it again for the laughs and I would recommend it to others solely on the unique premise alone.

I think this may be the best school-based Japanese dorama ever. It is really funny! It has a little bit of everything: comedy (a lot), friendship, silliness (a lot), craziness (a lot), romance, gay love... I am reviewing the SP only, but I will comment on the dorama as well. The script, director or whatever, made all the things that were MEH in 11 episodes turn into NICE! in the SP. Like:

- the romance. For 11 episodes it was so MEH. No chemistry between Sano and Mizuki. In fact, it was like he could not stand her (and he was right. She was too meddlesome). And who did not want Mizuki to end with Nakatsu? First time where the third one in the wheel is more appealing than the actual hero.

- less adults, more students. I disliked the nurse, especially because he was such a misogynist. He treated his ex-girlfriend like she was the pest. I hated his "blue" eyes, his hair, his character. Besides all the scenes that were Sano/Mizuki, I fast-forwarded the scenes with the creepy nurse the 2nd time I watched the dorama. But in the SP, his role is tiny! Yokattaaa And the SP was almost 100% about the boys and their silliness.

- Mizuki less focused in Sano. In the SP she realizes she loves her classmates and the school. It is not all about "Sano this, Sano that". It shows pieces of the 7th and 8 episodes, things that happened in between of what we watched it. She spends more time with the boys, creating more memories with them. So it is not untrue when, at the end, she gives her speech.

I love the SP, I like the OP song a lot (**Ikenai taiyou.. nanananana**), I love the actors, I like the OST in general, the setting, the clothes, the competitions and festivals... At the end, 1 hour and 45 minutes felt too short. One of the best shoujos doramas I've seen.

Cruel City is a masterpiece of a drama. It is a moody, dark and oh so sexy drama the plunges its viewers into the world of crime. From the very first episode the shock value will pull you in and keep you reeling until the very end. While the beautifully choreographed action scenes initially caught my attention, the complex story the drama weaves kept me watching. Jung Kyung Ho's performance as the dangerous and suave Doctor's Son is mesmerizing. This is by far Jung's best performance. His character is enigmatic, intense and at times ruthless. The drama follows Doctor's Son as he navigates his relationships in a city where you can trust no one. While the drama focuses mostly on the crime world, this drama delves into aspects of friendship, trust, loyalty and love. The love story is understated and restrained which suites the tone of the drama quite nicely.

The cast of characters is vast where it is sometimes difficult to keep track of all of them and their ever changing allegiances. This can sometimes make things confusing. I'm curious to how much is remedied by a second run though.

The music and score for Cruel City are remarkable and poignant. The ten track OST is phenomenal. This album flows amazingly well from one track to the next. While Wound, Butterfly and Everyday stand out as beautiful lyrical tracks, the instrumental pieces are surprisingly evocative and striking as individual tracks. My favorites are Memories of the Past, The Man, Undercover and The Night. Undercover reminds me so much of Time from Hans Zimmer's Inception.

Cruel City is an amazing creation where everything: the setting, the cinematography, the vibe, the tone and the score feed into the dark and surprisingly beautiful kill or be killed world. The characters are complex and have truly dynamic story arcs. The story telling is tight and well woven. Though the drama is dark and sometimes jarring, I think the story and cast of characters set it well above the rest. I can certainly understand why it is so highly revered as a beautiful, poetic and tragic story.

I liked it and loved their acting. i loved the way they portray their characters. This is a very realistic drama. At first for me it was kinda boring.. bt then suddenly i started to like it.. I think it's because its closer to our current world, i felt the characters and i was able to understand their emotions.
But is it so hard to put a kiss scene? can't they put a drunk kiss or accident kiss or ? i'm here at the 14 episode no kiss yet.. bt they do care for each other in a cute way..
And the second couple is hella good..
You can see Ha Suk Jin's high quality trash moments here as well,,, these types of roles really suit him
It's worthy watching. i think you'll love it..

To begin with, it's hard to categorize this drama. It's definitely not romance but it borders with psychological and thriller. The first episodes give a totally different vibe from what you will get later. The show begins on a lighter note but quickly turns dark and disturbing.

The plot is pretty unique but feels too stretched, 16 episodes would have been way better. There are a few interesting plot twists, but it's just not enough to make this show outstanding on any level. If you are looking for something new and refreshing this drama is a good pick, but it's not that entertaining. The acting is only okay and the characters stay distant, most of the characters are not introduced that well. Overall it's a mediocre show. At first, it's even hooking because you want to find out what the heck is going on, but later that element gets dull because it's stretched for too long. The ending seems a bit rushed, they are building the atmosphere almost for the whole episode and everything happens during the last 10 mins.

I picked this one out of all 12 U-Prince stories because of the colorful main characters: the hippy and the geek.
The story is about how Mel Be, a science geek gets dumped by her boy friend who is also a science geek. His reason for his break up was that they were too much alike.
Hippy witnesses the break up and comes to talk to Mel Be and asks for her Beatles T-shirt as he's a fan of the band. After that Mel Be decides that she wants to prove whether her ex-boy friend was right about dating similar people by asking Hippy, a singer who is quite the opposite of her, to date her for five days in exchange of the shirt.

This is a great story about falling in love with the 'seemingly wrong guy' in college.
The five days are full of trips and stories that is full of fun and drama that just touches your heart.
And the way they meet and fall in love is believable and touching.

The songs were actually really written and produced by Kun the main actor in real life which makes them even more meaningful.

Loved it!
