this is why I never pick up unknown calls
The best way to describe When the Phone Rings is "tropey". In a way, it feels like the essence of classic kdramas. The contract marriage setup, the ML's cold and domineering personality, even the way the leads fall in love -- nothing is particularly fresh or new. Still, the writers spun an engaging idea out of a kidnapper's call that had the potential to create a tense, sizzling dynamic between the leads, but unfortunately, this potential was never fully realized. The fundamental issue lies with the leads. Our FL is void of personality, will, clear goals, basically anything that makes a character a compelling person. Although her actions are consistent with her backstory, it would've made a far more interesting story if the FL were more of a ruthless, decisive character. Instead, we got a passive character with little resolve, little intelligence, and lots of scared expressions. It felt more like things kept happening to her rather than her taking control of the narrative.
The ML is... really something. They really did bring back the classic tsundere trope for him and I was not a fan. He has little personality other than being domineering, although he was pretty good at that. Maybe a little too good. I was kind of fed up with his bitchiness that he later tried to brush off. Like give my girl some free will, please. i.e. He's either inconsistent to an insane degree or has the maturity of a ten-year-old, take your pick.
Put these two together and the sizzling romance you wanted becomes a flat one. Their chemistry in the beginning is basically just Sa Eon: bursts into the room. Hui Ju: looks scared. Sa Eon: walks closer. Hui Ju: looks scared. Sa Eon: gets in her face. Hui Ju: looks scared. Then miraculously, one day Sa Eon wakes up and suddenly decides he doesn't want to be a jerk to Hui Ju anymore. Because he really needed someone to kidnap and threaten her in order to treat his wife with decent politeness. So the hope for good chemistry was already pretty low. But the little chemistry that could possibly have been siphoned out of this setup is completely lost because seriously, no one understands why they like each other. I believe the issue here is also that instead of the characters' actions furthering their relationship and the plot, outside factors and events seem to just be pulling this passive couple around.
The plot itself is not bad. The middle feels both useless and draggy, but the story ramps up near the end. The twists, reveals, and stakes were enough to keep me watching.
BUT FINALLY, the real reason I kept watching through it all! Yu Ri and Sang U. The most adorable second lead couple that has graced the screen. And I say this as someone who has never liked second lead couples. Yu Ri and Sang U, from the get-go, have far more palpable chemistry than the lead couple. Their "overdramatic fl x matter-of-fact ml" dynamic is so cute to watch, and I loved Yu Ri's cheerfulness and Sang U's casual quirks. Props to Sang U's actor, honestly. Did I watch 12 hours of this show for their meager 15 minutes of screentime? Yes, yes I did. Did I add .5 to the rewatch value because I will be rewatching their scenes? Yes, yes I did.

Almost great
This drama started out SO strong. The fake marriage trope is common but this was such a thrilling twist on it with Hee-joo's voice being a secret and the kidnapper — I was on the edge of my seat for most of episodes.I still enjoyed this overall, but in hindsight it leaves some more things to be desired. A lot of the side characters are underutilized, particularly Heejoo's sister I-na and the second ship, Yu-ri and Sang-woo. Yu-ri being a reporter ends up not really accounting to anything, and I-na's return also doesn't do much. Instead, the main leads are put through the ringer, with the female lead being put in danger over and over again. The tension is there but it does get repetitive.
I also really have to talk the last episode. It was just...bad. (And yes, I know it's in the novel, but I'm reviewing this based on drama only.) The last minute ghosting/separation is a trope that I've long-hated in kdramas, and this drama took it to another level by making this last arc just utterly random, in an active warzone in another country. It not only feels completely out of place, but there's just not enough time for all of this to happen, when I would've preferred that they just leave time for the characters to just talk to each other, and for more character relationships to be wrapped up. Hee-joo's relationship development with her mother is interesting but so rushed. Overall, the ending just doesn't quite hit; I find it hard to believe that the ML and his assistant would be able to get new government jobs after everything they've done and been in the public eye for. It wraps things up nicely but feels lazy.
Ultimately, this was still a pretty good watch, but the last episode hiccup is quite a big one.

The last episode...
Even though there were a few illogical parts at the beginning, I absolutely loved the series. Unfortunately, she became much weaker at the very end. The last episode in particular took all my enjoyment out of the series. It was completely taken out of thin air and illogical just to briefly build up "tension".I will definitely watch the series again, but only until about the middle, when everything is clear between the main characters.
Still a very emotional and beautiful show. I just wish the makers would rewrite the ending. 💔 It would be a straight 10 out of 10 without the ending.

Truly the best Thai gl to date
This series snuck up on me, I started it without any expectations and fell in love with the characters and the storyline. The story is very engaging, sometimes wild as well, but I think what keeps this series on the rails are two main actresses with their performances, you can feel their every emotion and their chemistry just warmed my cold, dead heart. This is probably why this GL feels so different to any other, because a lot of them makes you cringe and acting feels like a school play at best. That's why casting is so important.

Stellar performances and great storytelling
I must say: What a cast! All the main actors are delivering stellar performances. Combined with the great cinematography, fitting music, and a solid script, this is a quality production resulting in very good storytelling. It evokes emotions, builds bonds with the characters, makes you curious about the historical background events …The only think I struggle a little bit with is the jumping between decades - especially in the first few episodes when I hadn’t refreshed my memory good enough about the different characters.
Having read the book some years ago, I do have some recollections about events, so I am really hoping for at least one more season. I am not sure I would have enjoyed this as much as I do if I hadn’t read the book, though.
It is a bit slow, so it might not be for everyone, but for me the overall quality throughout everything outweighs this.
As for the cast:
Youn Yuh Jung as old Sunja is blowing my mind; the depth of her portrayal for this petite, rather frail looking old woman is so strong.
Kim Min Ha as adult Sunja delivers a consistent convincing performance. There’s just a few instances where she looks a bit too young, but that’s not down to her acting skills.
As for Lee Min Ho as Koh Hansu - I think this must be the best role I have seen him in. I have not been a superfan of his before (more like «he’s OK»), but here his acting skills really comes to light. Hansu is a complex, interesting character, and Lee Min Ho nails the portrayal.

Inspite of having a lot to criticize, it was a fun watch
When the phone rings has a intriguing plot, a wife threatening her husband on a phone call, YES. a hot and tsundere husband, YES. it had a lot of elements which made it attractive to watch as a viewer. but once you get into the drama, you'll realise how absurd some things are, which will just make you LAUGH.I'll start with the pros. Why was it so hyped, it had some good reasons.
1. VERY GOOD CHEMISTRY. the leads just did so well, acting was good, chemistry was good, angst, feelings and everything else, they were an amazing couple.
2. the story, overall, was good. I liked the intense and very confusing plot which will make your mind spin for a minute. yes its a thriller afterall. i think things will not make a lot of sense until like 10th episode.
3. No love traingle, noone who tries to sabotage the couple. im glad they didnt add any 3rd person to the already very intense plot which i anticipated at the hint of fml's sister. i appreciate it <3
4. the pacing. i liked how things were revealed about the fml to ml at a very good speed. it didnt take him forever to figure about out what was going on like in other dramas where main leads discover everything about each other on 12th episode, then 2 episodes of heartbreak and finally happy ending. no, i loved how emotionally stable they were and how things were handled.
now to the cons.
1. very first it was, scientifically speaking, absurd. girlie fell from a cliff, didnt even break a bone. a man died while suffocating on a pillow while oxygen tube was connected to his nose? just remove that damn tube??? these things, where you should feel shocked/sad, you cant help but just laugh at it.
2. execution. as i said i liked the story but the way it was shown was BAD. i did not understand what the heck was going on until 10th episode. everything was just very mixed up and jumbled that you would want to pause and give your brain a break. and then they'll reveal EVERYTHING on 11th episode like you'll have to just take it all.
3. plot twists. the ones you'll guess easily, they'll show it like it was the greatest discovery made. but the ones you wouldnt even recognize as a possibility, they'll show them to you in a whim like it didnt really matter and just go with it. i had to rewind and watch some parts again to understand if what they said was real lol.
4. the fml was lowkey dumb at a lot of parts, especially when she was 406. at first when she threatened him, it was great. but gradually she gets emotionally driven, speaks stuffs that you will NEVER hear from a kidnapper. i can understand why he would think it was an affair partner. she has no real plan, just wants a divorce and has no clue how she'll get that. when ml discovers its her making threat calls, he made it quite obvious that he knows. but she till the end, she doesnt even give it a thought that the boy may already know. and when i tell you SHES SHOCKED TO THE CORE when she discovers it like yeah...
5. the last epsiode. ik they wanted to move the boy somewhere remote so that he's not discoverable but a warzone? and what exactly was he doing there? freeing hostages waiting to get killed? im sorry but when did he become a superman, bro didnt even have a fist fight in the whole drama 😭 the 1st half was so unnecessary just because they wanted to stay true to the novel. okay. also again, the girl easily got into the rebel region, i dont think the writers knew how it works because u cant just get in that easily.
6. lastly , the few seconds on the end. paltima and ijmael. i wonder if they really just put random names or hinted at something entirely different. i hope its not what i think it is because its very insensitive to the real world situations. well, it didnt just sit right with me.

An entertaining drama with a striking and innovative plot, good soundtrack and plenty of tension.
An entertaining drama with a striking and innovative plot, good soundtrack and a tension between the main characters that produces fire.At first I liked the beginning where you think Baek Saeon is a bad husband with no feelings and cold but at the end everything takes a 180 turn, where he was always in love with Heejoo and he just wanted to take care of her and let her be free.
The producers did a good job in creating the tension scenes, adding that it has a very good soundtrack. It also has good plot twists, like I didn't expect Baek Saeon to not really be Baek Saeon but a replacement because the original is a psycho and this original Baek Saeon chasing and threatening the replacement Baek Saeon, makes it peak.
Obviously there were things that I didn't like a lot, like the filler plot of Sangwoo and Yuri's or that they left scenes that showed evidence of something important but didn't finish it and left the viewers adrift until later where it picks up and then you just know what they were talking about, that makes you lose the thread and the viewers get confused about the plot. But overall, it's a drama that I recommend when you want to watch something with an original plot and if you want to blush and feel things.

What a beautiful surprise
I went into this show blindly. I mainly picked it because of JCW. I didn't know anything about the story. After first episode I knew I wil love it and also that every episode will be pretty emotional journey. I enjoyed the plot so much. I like that it's story about people who has their struggles, but they gather to help grant wishes of dying patients. It was so touching.
What I love the most about this show is the journey of main character Yoon Kyeo Re. From not trusting anyone, because everyone in his life let him down, to embracing his true self and his new found family! I'm sucker for found family trope and this show served it so amazingly.
I loved how the story is wrapped exactly how it begins. The circle of new beginning are repeating.
What I didn't like was how was handled the fixation of Ha Joon Kyung on Yoon Kyeo Re. It wasn't satisfying at all.
Overall very well done show which made you cry, but the acting and story is so good, so it's totally fine. I just wish the show to be longer, because I didn't want to say goodbye to the characters! They grew on me so much.

Complex and dramatic GL that delivered!
This was an absolutely beautifully done GL, with complex characters and emotional storylines. I love Film and Namtan, and was super excited to see them act together and they delivered on the roles. They managed to tackle real-world issues like disability access and homophobia, while still being able to focus on building a romance between the characters. My only complaint with this one would be that it did feel like a lack of honestly between the characters caused a lot of the later issues, but overall it was a great watch and it makes me even more excited for GMM's future GLs.Ai and Oom (Namtan) are twins, but polar opposites. Oom is the perfect child, with a good job and an upcoming wedding to her rich fiancé. Ai, on the other hand, is scraping by as a delivery driver. On the night of her wedding, Oom asks Ai for a favor: now that she's married to a man she needs to break up with her girlfriend, and wants Ai to do it for her. Shocked by the sudden news of her sister's affair, Ai almost doesn't agree; however, after Oom gets into a car accident on the night of her wedding leaving her in a coma, Ai feels she should honor her sister's wish. Upon arriving at her girlfriend's house, she meets May (Film), who has recently gone blind. Ai doesn't have the heart to break up with May for Oom, and instead pretends to be Oom and keeps the relationship going. Ai and May start spending more time together, and as her feelings for May grow, so does her guilt.
I was super excited to watch this show, especially after how much I loved GMM's other GL 23.5. I am typically a bigger fan of more dramatic shows, and figured this would be right up my alley. I do think that a lot of themes in the show were already brought up in similar ways in other GMM shows (disability awareness for the blind in Last Twilight, swapping places with a twin in Not Me, etc.) and could have either pushed these ideas a little further or tried to do something a bit more different with them. Regardless, I'm super happy to see GLs finally becoming more popular and am excited to see what Film and Namtan do next!

Best drama I've seen in 5 years!
When I read the caption of this drama I thought the story sounded intrestning and I started to watch it casually. As I watched episode by episode the story evolved, there's so much more story than the caption says and I was blown away. Completely hooked and I had to pause whatever I was doing to watch the drama properly. This drama is a true gem, this is the first time I would say the story is 10/11! This is definitly the best drama I've seen in 5 years! I'm giving the drama overall a 9,5 because sometimes (maybe due to language barrier) it was hard to understand, because the story was a bit complicated. You will regret it if you don't watch this masterpiece. Was this review helpful to you?
WTPR is an exceptional drama of personal growth,
second chances, love, drama and thriller all mixed into one. When the Phone Rings delivers on everything it promises and keeps you glued to your seat every episode. The OST fits the story perfectly in every scene. The characters are magnifically acted by the cast, and you can't help and root for them. They go thru so much. In the end, the journey is worth it to get the characters the ending they deserve. I like how all of them are so complicated and make you feel for them. I even ended up sympathizing with the villain one of twice. Weird, yes! But that's the token of good writing that gets you to feel even for the evilest of characters.
I also enjoyed the growth of the characters esp HHJ who goes from a meek, comforting character to a strong, feisty woman who knows what she wants and goes after it. She's not afraid to stand up against those who hurt her anymore and I loved that! Her journey is definitely something to watch. Just like PSE who comes into his own while basically going thru hell on earth before leading him to his happy ending.
In the end WTPR did have a couple of cliche moments but in the end they were necessary for the overall journey and message of the drama.
9/10

amazing kdrama not so amazing final episode
we dont talk about that last episode😶other than that a 10/10
the suspense was great. it kept you at the top of your seat the whole time and the ending of every episode left you wanting more. but i think what really stands out and makes this a great kdrama is the leads. they had phenomenal chemistry and just amazing acting overall. honestly they had some of the best kissing scenes in kdrama. loved yoo yeon seok since dr. romantic so i was already aware of his game but chae soo bin impressed me very much. BUT the last episode (and more importantly the whole argan thing) were really unnecessary and distasteful for me. following the source material so closely really was not it. i think that kdramas can really make a great show out of a not so amazing source material and honestly it was like that until episode 12. but atleast they were happy. 🤷♀️overall the other 11 were so good i can forget it. will definitely rewatch it (maybe skip a certain 10 minutes in ep12😗). but yeah really great kdrama exited to see whats next for both yoo yeon seok and chae soo bin🫰🎀

When the phone rings - block the number !
Ok you all can call oppa the plot and be very happy with all the juicy scenes that were put forth but what in the world was this "LOGIC LEFT THE CALL" !! There are already 125 people giving out cents on this one so why did I decide to engage in the chatter bec - I am not okay unlike you all ! I can not accept this as it was !Okay look at me in the eyes and say (only for people who care about what's being served to them) is this what you wanted to see ? Is this how you imagined things would go? (Enny things will not go how you want them to - it's not a drama for you , Enny if you have that much talent write one yourself ) I might as well ...and trust me I'd do a much better job ! Bec for me the whole show was - I might just throw my phone in the same pond where they throw kids - no loss bec everything gets recovered ... does that not sound sensible ? I thought it very much was a 10/10 pitch!
Okay okay initial eps - banger ! Drop dead gorgeous people making me drop dead and crave for more !
Oppa as Hot, Possesive, Toxic and Domineering husband - just hit all the notes that somehow felt untouched through all the kdrama journey !
The whole calling aspect - nailed down very well.
Until !
Hi my cute "perfect husband material straight out of a fairytale romance male lead"- Why were you pretending to be something that you are not, for no good reason - just be the childhood bestie you are and say I love hong hee joo I am a fool in love and otherwise too, and trust me I would perfectly love you for that ! I swear I will !
Because the way you led me into believing that "not all kdrama men are the same" - I mean I love green flags I just hate being misled !
There are just so many things that are fucked up about this that I don't think I will ever be possibly able to curate a list but for the sake of saying it ...
I wish they would do something like - "REACTING" when they find out something - like hong hee joo is the blackmailer - oh my god I love her so much more - bruh hee joo can talk - yeah she's been wining singing competitions ever since she was a kid did you not know - Like seriously ??? - I am so pissed off at the way 90% of the ep is a filler ...and at how they choose the worst way possible to reveal anything ....and when it is revealed ...they do "nothing" ....oh wait 3 eps later they discuss this and sort it out ! - "sensible people" ...but did I sign up to watch sensible people ? NO
Wasn't this about angst and thrill and planning plotting??
also ...when the "phone" rings - the phone is out of picture ...we ain't even half way and the phone just doesn't matter ...! At this point I am really concerned -- what matters ?? jagganim ? They be going on field trips with the blackmailer out lose ...and quite frankly for someone who killed when he was a kid ...the villain was just for tomfoolery no offence but he could do way better than that ! I am to buy that this lunatic "kid murderer" as a grown up adult couldn't murder a mute girl who mostly has no protection and the one ep she does they don't seem to be working very hard - Like are they even for real !?
Also let alone the consequences of the calls - hee joo doesn't even have any consequences of THE FALL ! Let me see the dramatic fake blood and unreal bandages all over ...come on what the fuck !
Trust me I hate it , even tho I am keeping aside how pissed off I'd be if I also turn on my moral compass and realize that Hong hee joo deserves not a sorry but a good bye from all the people in her life - literally every one bec all of them have wronged her - she can talk and they let her pretend to be mute ! - she's neglected for 3 yrs straight in her marriage and he's been in love with her for 20 yrs and I am to buy that the girl just chooses to die for him instead of killing him - thriller where ?
Okay the girl got no spine but like literally just everyone treated her like trash - even at work
- in the initial eps - the sfl paid no heed to her and one day she suddenly starts crying -
I don't exactly remember when they became besties ...have I missed a few eps of them going on shopping spree and bitching about men ? - Like why make two characters be dead concerned when it could just be - okay I know you, I have spare time, I can look for you ?
The sissy comes back to say I know you could talk but it made me feel better so I am just going to let you suffer ...Quite frankly I really do like her - cause she left when she realized what was going on, got herself fixed, came back to save her sister, asked her father to take action, and supported her sister when she was alone. GIRL -got brain ! I wish hee joo did too but nevermind!
Let's not even go about to how trash her mother's arc turned out ...
Also stop making a big deal for the bare min that the ML does - learning sign language he should have done that years ago - he did not need tell her - he could very well be secretive about it like he was about other things ...!
Also the sml arc - was good but so unnecessary !
Has the rant been too long ? No guys we haven't even reached to the no brainer messed up story of the decade -
What in the world ...his mom holding hee joo captive , the real villain working under someone else ... hee joo's brother killed by the oldiee oh my I have no words ! And he's the son of oldiee - Explain pls - with whom, where is his mom ? what the fuck happened ? why did the dna report show otherwise ??
instead what we get ...car accidents after car accidents and literally nothing happens - it's just so annoying and repetitive !
At this point I have no brain cells to spare
the only thing I liked was the angle of the secretary and nothing more.
Tho with all of that I was wondering what more could go wrong - until they did show me exactly what they are capable of -
When you have a serial killer on loose, out to kill you, following you since last 10 eps and you have a car in which the love of your life urgently requires hospitalization you don't go out negotiating with the killer - you run over him - too much to expect... I agree, but what can be said when he just out right disappears and is found in a war zone among the rebels !
boy you built a beach house for yourself there.... property rates????- and you got your girl from the rebels without a gun let alone a plan - make it believable at the very least - atleast act like you are putting efforts !
Not gonna lie - with how illogical it was - I couldn't care less about the treat that was put forth !
in short "They should’ve scrapped the unnecessary sociopathic serial killer mess and made the story about him, her and the phone."
If you found this (bec I can see a lot of downvotes and it being kicked to the last page of reviews) and are still reading - hugs and a lot of love from the bottom of my heart !

our very own paradise, pluto
when the mock trailer dropped i literally screamed cause the last thing i expected was film to be in a gl. after that i got to know abt the novel this show is based on and prepared myself for a toxic mess but the show and the team surprised me a lot.a lot of the story is changed, like the team took the prompt from the novel and wrote the rest on their own. and i think that was a great decision.
aioon and may are very morally grey characters who are humanized and made very vulnerable. they don't condemn their actions nor glorify them just two people falling in love in very unique (?) situation.
i loved the pacing, the first half showing us how ai and may fall for each other and the other half addressing the elephant(s) in the room.
this was a romance which satisfied me. we see both of them learning about each other, sharing their insecurities and deepest pains and finding comfort in each other instead of rushing.
i feel like they handled may's blindness and everything related well along with oom as a part of this. i really sympathize with oom and also see her pov. they wrapped up everything nicely. from the accident, oom's ptsd, grandma's love etc
the one thing that irritated me the most was the 'first love' thing which eventually becomes the reason why oom breaks up with may. that was so dumb to me. its not even first love, its a first crush if we are pushing it. i get that oom is deeply insecure but come on, at least u could have shown may reassuring her. and the way may kind of accepts the fact that she always wanted ai??? like did may and oom dating did not mean anything???? they could have made a more solid reasoning for their breakup. also i did not like that instead of being at least 5% mad at may for being one of the reason her so called best friend(given that i thought he died cause we never see him until way later on) is disabled and a orphan, ai overlooks it. that could have added a bit more depth to may's arc
to finish off the complaints, i think the editing was off and the faults were very noticeable in certain episodes, mostly in scenes where we cut from one location to a new one. the cinematography also didn't feel right in certain places. also was not no budget to make a intro/opening sequence, cause wtf was that? we have such beautiful actress, scenes and osts and u have video sequence with so much slideshow animation.....this show deserved a better one
the jaw dropping part of this series is namtan and film. their acting and chemistry??? off the charts. especially namtan, she played both oom and aioon so well u could totally tell them apart even. i been a fan of film but this was literally her best work. no words left for the chemistry.
the osts are so good too, they lyrics match with the theme so well.
pim, pang and jan were fun to watch even though they didn't add much. kapook my girl i will get u a gl where u end up happy (kapook gl with pipoly, cize and jan as her love interest for 2026 pls gmmtv)
overall a very good series, will definitely rewatch it

Intriguing cliche ft. ridiculous plot at the end ?
This show came out of nowhere and took majority of us down the memory lane of swooning over wattpad romances.I only want to talk about the MLs because honestly they are only whom I was fully invested in.... The main leads are typical: Seemingly cold, rich, and no-nonsense ML and a simple, softie FL. This is so wattpad-coded: Saeon showing redflag signs (thankfully he changed) and Heejo being a damsel in distress. I've seen a lot of this dynamic yet this one just hits different. Why? I believe that the actors played their roles so well and the show really tried to flesh out their characters, their personality.
Again, the usual trope of rich family, orphan, revenge, childhood connection... Nonetheless, the way the story unfolded was definitely gripping. The pacing of every episode was perfect - enough to feed my curiosity and enough to keep me wanting for more.
With all that, I really wanted to rate this higher but fell short all because of the last episode. The plot all throughout was pretty well-explained and the turn of events are fairly sensible except the last episode.
* Their relationship was already established. They expressed their feelings which made them stronger together. So, how can Saeon suddenly went MIA? They were opening up and trusting each other. A heartfelt conversation would've helped them.
* And out of all the places he could've gone to.....A warzone.....that Heejo went to....Argan.....also with the stereotypical color filter as soon as she stepped to that country...and they made love.....in a warzone...(will just pretend that that happened at their home, on Heejo's bed)
Yes, they followed the web novel but I wish they did not with that one. Yes, this is fictional but I wish a teeny bit of logic was still considered. I'm sorry but no matter how much someone will defend this plot, I will never change my mind that this is just straight up ridiculous, the worst.
I also want to list my nitpicks here.
1. When we first heard Heejo speak, when she was with the kidnapper, I wish she stuttered first. She was on a life-threatening situation + with someone who is dangerous + has selective mutism. I would've felt more if she struggled a bit with finding her voice and words then after few tries, had the courage to speak up. Also when she was on the police car. Similar case. I'd just imagine Saeon feeling and looking even more conflicted if he heard her struggle speaking first and then she screamed...
2. I honestly did not like how Saeon made Heejo go to the amusement park. (Lol just overthinking this) I mean Saeon was so protective and concerned with Heejo's rest after the cliff fall, and then he suddenly asked her to come out of the hospital alone on a cold night to go to the park??
3. Did the selective mutism trope just vanish? How did others take that she can actually speak? I wish they also included how Heejo able to overcome it, how she was gradually able to communicate with others and build confidence to voice out herself....
Overall, I greatly enjoyed this mainly because of their chemistry. I will never forget how intense the first few episodes were as much as I will never forget the crappy Argan plot.
