Wow. Just.. Wow. This movie was pure awesome. I usually detest gangster/killing type movies and tend to like more 'romance' but this one has really surprised me. The story was so in-depth but at the same time, simple. The acting was outstanding, which i am also extremely surprised about not that im not a Gackt and Hyde fan, i just didn't know they could act THAT well. Their character's bond in this read more movie pulled at my heart and left me in tears at some points.
From beginning to end, this movie is a full 10 for me. I hope you enjoy it as much as i do. take care ^^

I enjoyed the story of the tortured soul of the vampire. I particularly liked the ending b/c it was a completion to the never ending cycle of hate & killing that surrounded Kai & Sho. The relationship b/t Kai & Sho was particularly interesting. I really liked this movie & will watch it again. The music was really good & I will be looking for the soundtrack. Enjoy!~)

They are both amazing, yet in a way tragic, movies. Both of them deal with supernatural creatures (vampires and werewolves) but they both do so in a way where the supernatural part does not take away from the actual storyline whatsoever. Both of them talk about the sadness associated with being inhuman, and friendship/love that transcends generations (both of them have seemingly immortal characters). Lastly, both the endings leave you with a hole in your heart. That scary emptiness. You know what I mean. There are a lot more similarities, but I won't delve too far into detail. If you're curious, go see for yourself ^^

Both are action movies about mafia stories. In both many people are shot/killed. DoA is way more brutal and bloody than Moon Child but parts of the story are alike, because all of the protagonists are fighting their own war against the mafia (yakuza)...
