The main women in this drama both overcome past traumas and abuse by those most trusted in their lives. They learn to trust and find happiness, healing and love through the help of those closest to them. In both stories, the main couples learn what it is to heal each others past hurts and betrayals.

Both include leads who are facing hardships and psychological issues.
It happens in college frame with rich and popular male leads.
Male leads have family problems, they pretend to be okay but are traumatized from a long time.
Male leads have a main problems with their brothers who are jealous of them and family focusing for brothers more than the male leads.
Female leads were bullied in college but is more intense in mars.
Mars is more deeply sad than at a distance, spring is green which is simple to watch.

So its pretty much the same story-line BUT the Taiwanese version is just much more deeper and imho better. This is the summary/ continuation of the Japanese drama. Its not bad for something to watch if you need to kill time.

I feel that the male leads are similar to one another and have similar aspects. Also the whole feel/vibe/atmosphere of the drama is similar in my opinion.

This is the second installment of the A Moment of Romance trilogy, but the plots are unrelated.

While working for the first time, Celia witnesses the murder of a triad leader and gets framed for the murder. As triad members are chasing her, she is rescued by Frank, a member of a biker gang. Frank came from a wealthy but broken family and always feels depressed. However, he later becomes inspired by Celia's upbeat personality and the two of them fall in love. Celia and Frank encounter obstacles to their love due to their backgrounds.

Both dramas deal with the psychological aspect of human nature as well as romance and life in general. MARS is a bit more deep and dark than It's okay, It's love but both are very good dramas. MARS is one of my absolute favorites, it's based on, and follows quite faithfully, the original manga by Fuyumi Soryo. I absolutely recommend you check it out! Like the phrase goes, it's an oldie but a goodie. ^_^

Most of the recommendations suggest shows with almost the exact same plot, characters or ideas but i wanna recommend this drama.
Reason?? Because of the way the two main leads are drawn to each other. How they just end up clicking and everything flows so naturally for them with ups and downs.
I dont know they both have a similar vibe for me definitely recommend checking out MARS.

It was with much difficulty that Ai Qing was able to save enough money and arrive in her dream place, Paris. As a result, she was extremely happy about this. At the same time, Zi Hao is also in Paris receiving an international fashion award, the grand prize. They both got into a big argument at a small artistic shop over a small wooden horse that they both fell in love with. In the end, with the owner's consent, Ai Qing is able to obtain the wooden horse. The accidental meeting at the airport and on the plane, cause the two of them to have an even more unfavorable impression of each other. Both were rejoicing at the fact that after this trip, they would never have to see each other again. However, who would have expected that these two people's destinies are forever intertwined tightly together.

"Wangan Midnight The Movie" based on hit manga written by Michiharu Kusunoki, the film stars Yuichi Nakamura of D-BOYS, Kazuki Kato, and Ryoko Kobayashi. The story centers on a young man named Akio Asakura, a 3rd-year high school student who salvages "Devil Z", a custom-tuned Datsun Fairlady S30Z car with a supposedly cursed history despite not having a driver's license and having no idea how to operate a manual transmission...

I absolutely don't know why I should recommend these... I just think that when the story moves on, the "feel" in these 2 dramas is very similar. Of course, MARS is more deeper and everything but still the feeling is similar. Find out for yourself and decide ^^

Chen Ling (??) and Chen Sheng (??) (both by Vic Chou) are twin brothers born out of wedlock, by a father who is their mother's brother-in-law, and has died in a racing incident. Their one childhood memory of their mother is that of a medicated cold bedbound woman, whose only words were that "in this world Sheng is the only one Ling can rely on and Ling is the only one Sheng can rely on".[1]

One day Ling meets Qi Luo, an introvert and a gentle girl, in a park where he asks her for directions. She draws the directions for Ling on the back of one of her stetches of a mother and child. Ling seeing her quietly drawing on a park bench reminds him of Sheng and becomes attracted to her. When Ling saves Qi Luo from being sexually harassed by their English teacher, she starts to open up to him. In exchange for the finished painting of 'Mother and Child', Ling promises to protect her.

Both have the bad boy falling for the good girl troupe, outsiders who want to ruin their relationship, and strong friendships. Both are older dramas so the quality is not the greatest and both have young stars so their acting is... not the best BUT the stories for both are good. Albeit I must say MARS is better story-line wise and does have a batter ending.

Both cdramas have a theme of unique twisted plot based on a psychological thriller theme. Both dramas have leads that are committed to one another-each with their imperfections, their ghosts, that they have to overcome.
