Woo-Hyun is a Korean man and Haruka a Japanese woman. They live different lives, but they both carry emotional scars from their first love. While looking for answers and hope, their fateful encounter will change their lives.
It started from one message …Haruka, a stage actress in Seoul, has been in a slump ever since she broke up with her first love. She cannot forget him and keeps sending messages that go read moreunread on LINE. Despite her emotional hurt, Haruka wants to believe in love. In Tokyo, Woo Hyun, an aspiring movie director, keeps on doing interviews concerning “love”. After being deeply hurt by his girlfriend who thought about getting married, he no longer believes in love. Haruka and Woo Hyun have both grown timid of love. The two of them, who live apart in Tokyo and Seoul, have a chance encounter because of a LINE message delivered to Woo Hyun’s smart phone from Haruka. They exchange messages without knowing each other’s faces, and are drawn to each other before they realise it.

The thing that I loved about this drama was the cinematography and visuals. It was so beautiful that I was able to overlook the cliche and lack of a good story line. Another thing that made it good were the actors. Ueno Juri was awesome as usual with how she's able to depict the emotion of pain, loss, trying to be happy and act normal despite her past. Choi Seung-hyun, on the read more other hand was a breath of fresh air in this drama. I am so used to seeing him as a bad-ass guy who either kills people or save them. Can't miss him in movies without a gun and a car. Here, he's got none of those two things. Even the serious look, because his character is quite dorky and passionate as a wannabe director. So those character roles are the closest I could get out of the drama to make it seem interesting. I could have cared less for the supporting cast since I feel that without them, this drama could still go on... except for Yoo In Ah. I simply have a bias for that actress, so I love the fact that she got to support Ueno Juri through out the series.

Music wise, it was okay... until the part where Seung-hyun rendered a song... and because of that, I'm giving this drama a plus point. That's something to look forward into the whole drama.

If you're looking for something that's easy and short to watch but not mind blowing, this drama is perfect for you. It has 18 episodes that runs at least 11 minutes each, then it's going to be a fast watch and not a total waste of time.

I won't be rewatching this anytime soon, but I will definitely look this up in the future if I want to be inspired with my photography. This drama is simply full of photo clips that are awesome.

I think the story is a bit disconnected at first to what is happening so it starts off really confusing with some scenes and the flashbacks. This series is very Cinematic there are a lot of beautifully shoot senses and has a interesting flow to the episodes, It isn't a fluffy love story that begins in a funny way and often leaves the viewers wanting to know more about how the lead read more characters ended up getting hurt before and how they are going to connect in the future or how they deal with the heart break. Top is a great actor I love the way that they talk about love or try to understand it and I love the connection of the two lead characters!

-Both is about a love story between a korean man and a japanese woman, and the subsequent cultural clash between korean and japanese culture

-Both have an attractive korean male lead: T.O.P. in TSM and Won Bin in F2002
-Both are short: TSM is 18 eps x 15 min and F2002 is 4 eps x 50 min

-TSM is more artful/deeper meaning and has the better stunning cinematogtaphy and a more darker and mystical tone
-F2002 focuses more on the cultural difference, while TSM more on past hurts and love itself
-TSM is better than F2002

ALSO, Check out:
-Ueno Juri's AMAZING acting in TSM!
-Yoo In Na (Goblin, Queen In Hyun's Man) as side character in TSM
-Lee Dong Gun supporting role in F2002

The main characters get to know each other through a messaging app, and help each other through various life situations.

It seems like T.O.P didn't have to put much effort into playing Woo Hyun :D It was like playing himself :D and all references to BigBang just kill me and of course T.O.P's song <3

I love this part of the synopsis: "They exchange messages without knowing each other’s faces, and are drawn to each other before they realise it."
I feel like we should add to the end: "Also, they just so happen to be incredibly attractive! What a happy coincidence for them both!"

Whatever, I'll still watch it. :P

I would not have finished this if the episodes had been any longer than they are. As it is, it's a cute show to watch every once in a while. It's basically a very long advertisement, isn't it.. :P
